Somebody Worth It Page 5

“I hope you do.” I glanced over my shoulder, batting my eyes at him sexily.

The trip was already starting off pretty well. Brian had a good attitude about our vacation. Brian - two, me - zero. That gave Brian the lead. I had to get my groove back.

“A ride till you’re screaming my name, and your legs can’t function.” I grinned and stared ahead as he blew through the heavy traffic, like he knew where he was going.

The weather was absolutely heaven. The way the palm trees swayed in the wind made me feel alive. You could just smell the salt water. We headed to check in to our stunning hotel that was free, and free was stunning for once. Hard to believe this entire trip was free. The floor was all marble and the sofas looked more expensive in the lobby than my entire house of furniture put together. We made our way up to the tenth floor. The elevator stopped, and we stepped out, making our way down the hall to room ten fourteen. Walking into the suite, I was just speechless. The room was massive and even on our honeymoon we didn’t have such an immaculate room. The floor to ceiling windows overlooked the serene ocean. Fresh flowers sat on a table with a table lamp and a binder full of brochures. I inhaled the smell of the roses and sighed. I loved roses.

Brian crept up behind me and squeezed my shoulders before wrapping his arm around me. He whispered in my ear softy and so sweetly it made me damp between my legs, “Let’s start this trip out right.” He blew on the outside of my ear and pressed his lips to the side of my cheek slowly. As always, whenever he was near—my heart skipped a beat and he took my breath away. How could it always be like that? Even when I was so mad with him I could strangle him with my bare hands, all it took was one look in my direction. The one look that said I’m it for him. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it, and even longer since he made any effort. Besides for the hot kitchen experience, it’s rare he put that much effort in. This was what we needed, the chance to reconnect emotionally and physically.

I turned to face him and let out a smile. He wrapped me in his arms like he never wanted to let go. I crashed my lips with his and ran my fingers through his hair, twisting it around my fingers and yanking. I let out a soft moan when he deepened his kiss, sucking on my tongue as if he was starving for it. While our tongues were busy, we used our hands to pull the each other’s shirt off. We broke the kiss for a moment when we finally got my shirt off. Without breaking stride, he took my mouth again and flung my shirt over my head, so that it landed on the floor next to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and pulled me into his sexy body. I shrieked a little as he picked me up and placed me on the mattress like I was priceless object. He couldn’t deny me of being his.

“Come a little closer, baby,” he whispered. “I want to lay with you on this bed—just us—nothing else…everything else can wait.” He grinned from ear to ear, a light red blush flushing his cheeks while he tenderly brushed a strand of hair out of my face. He climbed on to the bed and started kissing me. After a short few minutes, he worked his way down to my neck and throat until finally he reached my chest. He tried to reach underneath me and unhook the clasps, but it wasn’t easy. Getting a tad frustrated, he grabbed a cup in each hand and ripped. He tugged a nipple in his mouth and sucked hard. He took his other hand and squeezed the other, while he sucked on the one. I tried to reach between us, so I could wiggle out of my jeans, but he stopped my hand.

“Mine! You are my present to unwrap, please, don’t deny me this.” I stopped wiggling and let him unwrap his ‘present’. After the unwrapping, I was the one who got a gift. One of the longest and most intense orgasms I have ever had. This was perfect. I could feel us getting back in sync.

I watched Millie lay in bed, her beautiful naked body before me. Her tits were out, and, man, she had the best ones. The lower part of her body was wrapped in the sheets. This was what I missed. We always had such a strong connection sexually, but when it came to stuff out of the bedroom, we struggled. I want to climb back in bed so badly and make her mine once more before she woke up and wanted to explore Florida. Somehow, I thought my chance would come later. I walked out of the hotel room onto the patio and softly closed it shut behind me. I didn’t want to wake her since she had already been a nervous wreck getting here, I’m sure she’s exhausted. I had a text message pop up and I quickly deleted and continued on with my plans.

I made a few phone calls as I watched the busy life of Florida down below. I thought taxi drivers in the Midwest were bad, but looking down below at them weaving in and out of traffic made me think twice. I made a few hook ups, and she’s going to love what I had in store for her. I walked back into the suite and sat down on the edge of the bed next to her restful self. I pushed her arm, rolling my hand over her skin and gently brushing her soft cheek. She moaned and looked up at me.

“Sweetheart, time to wake up and go explore this city.” I leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead. Her tired eyes stared back at me with a hint of a smile creeping from her lips.

“You got some plans I’m unaware of?” She yawned and squinted her eyes at me.

“I have many plans for later, but for right now I’d like to go on a nice walk.” I rubbed her back, moving my hand back and forth. She nestled her head into my chest, enjoying the rub. She sat up in bed, wrapping her arms around me while moaning about having to get out of bed. I kissed her eye softly, and she got up and headed straight to the bathroom to freshen up. I sat on the sofa and clicked the TV on to wait for her to come back out. It really did feel like we were closer after making love this morning. Maybe it was just me, but that’s quite possible the solution to our problem. We just needed ways to get in sync with one another.

A short while later, she came out and grabbed an outfit from the suitcase. She put her bra and panties on and then put a bright white sundress on. Looking at her from head to toe, she just glowed, kind of like the same kind of glow a woman has when she’s pregnant. It shined so bright on her, and Millie truly looked happy.

“You look stunning.” I grabbed her hands pulling her into me. “You really do look amazing, as always, babe.”

She reached up on her toes and pecked my cheek. Tossing her hair up in a playful pony tail, then sliding her flip flops on, she was ready. She tossed her purse on her shoulder. I swung my plaid button up on over my tank top and followed her out the door.

We walked along the sandy seaside, it reminded me so much of our honeymoon. We’d spent every second we could get at the beach and this brought back all those memories feeling the sand between my toes. It’s probably been that long since we’ve been to the gulf. We’ve always wanted to take Kate, but just never got around to it. Once we get stable again, I wanted to plan a family trip. I think it would be nice for all of us to go somewhere.

I took her hand in mine and stopped her, putting my body in front of hers. The sun shined down between us and made for a picturesque moment. She looked at me with those fucking blue eyes that made me melt every damn time. It was like high school all over again, watching her give me that look. I sat down in the sand and pulled her down on my lap facing the pristine gulf view. The waves crashed up on the beach with a low tide made for a romantic setting. I wanted her to see something and show her how special she really was to me.

“I’ve always loved the smell of the water.” She held my hand, staring into the abyss.

I knew how much she loved being here. I pulled her hand to make her face me.

“Baby, we’ve gone through so much in the last fifteen years. Between graduating high school, getting married, and having Kate so close to one another. Life hasn’t been easy by any means, but I need you to know I couldn’t have done it without you by my side. I made some mistakes, we both have. We’ve grown up together. Lately, I know it hasn’t seemed that way, but I still love you with all my heart, Millie.” I pulled a box from my back pocket and handed it to her.

Her eyes met my gaze, looked back down at the box then back to my eyes. A smile was what I saw as she opened the bo
x in front of me. My heart raced a little nervous to see her reaction. My eyes widened, hoping for the response I wanted. There was a picture frame that I had Kate pick out for me, and I wrote a saying on it with permanent marker that read “I knew I loved you then” written across the top of the frame. The first picture we ever took together. Her eyes widened and glistened from tears filling them. I still remembered that day so clearly. It was our first date. I had to beg her parents to let me take her. I was that boy that kind of reminded me of Ben, scared shitless of her father. We were going to a movie and dinner, and the picture was taken right outside of her house by her mother. She was wearing her cute little peach dress and heels, and I was in jeans and a polo shirt. I remember picking the outfit to impress her parents, too. It must have worked, since I’m still here today and her dad hadn’t killed me, yet. Even though it was our first date, we were in love then, I could feel it.

“Brian, I don’t know what to say, it’s so sweet of you. It really means a lot to me.” She smiled, pressing her finger over the picture like she was taking in the memory I’d just rehashed by looking at it. The tears started to come down her cheek, and I wiped them with my thumb.

“You don’t have to say anything; I just wanted you to know how I felt. I knew you needed to know more often and not just on vacation, but I needed to start somewhere. Tonight I have more planned for us. I hope you’re ready for it.” I kissed her sweet lips. “Kate helped me pick out the frame. She’s good for that stuff.” I laughed, looking into her eyes.

She leaned towards me and nestled into my neck, inhaling my scent. I met her half way and kissed her deeply. I could feel her tears falling on my face. It just made me deepen the kiss and take in the emotions. Her kiss made me want to take her back to the room and fuck her brains out. If my dick could stay down for an hour this entire trip, I’d be surprised. I didn’t know what it was about her, but I knew she still turned me on. She turned everything in my body on. I looked forward to this feeling for the rest of my life.

I lay back on the sand, and she followed, laying her head on my chest. She stared out at the ocean and rubbed her hand back and forth across my belly and up to the center of my chest. The thing that she must have realized she was doing was turning my dick harder every second she touched me.

Her cell phone rang in her purse. We said we weren’t going to answer calls, but she had to check and make sure it wasn’t Kate. Once she read the display, she placed it back in her purse.

“Who was that babe?” I questioned rubbing her arm up and down.

“Steph. I’ll call her later.” She sat up and looked down at me. “Want to go back up to the room?” Her expression said it all. Her eyes and lips just sank into me with a stare full of searing desire. I growled softly, her words couldn’t have been more perfect.

“After you.” I sat up and helped her off the sand. We walked with a quick stride back to the hotel, which was a short distance. We were waiting impatiently in the back of the hotel for the freight elevator, since it was closest to use. Once the elevator dinged we walked in. The doors shut, and she was on me faster than I could yell fuck. Her hands flew to my jeans, unbuckling the belt and undoing the button, and her lips sunk down onto mine, sending me into a daze. I swear I’m about to bust at the seams for her. I wrapped my arms around her and turned her against the wall of the elevator, taking control. She loved it when I took control. Her hand flew into my pants, and she felt the bulge growing by the second. I didn’t think it could get harder, but it did. She started to stroke it. I let out a groan, trailing my kisses down her neck. I took my hand and slid her sundress up her thigh. That gained a heavy reaction and she moaned in my ear. Hearing those soft moans was all it took for me to slide my finger under the edge of her panties and feel her wetness. “Fuck,” I moaned. My body needed release, and the pressure continued to build. Another moan escaped, but this was definitely a want. I wanted her now. Right the fuck now.

The elevator dinged, letting us know we were on the tenth floor, and she jumped in my arms sending me out of the elevator doors in a jolt. I scooped her ass up and held her to me as we walked down the empty hallway. Once we reached our room, I pinned her to the door. My breathing picked up and felt the raw emotion going into our kisses. My dick pulsed, needing more. She bucked her hips into mine, letting my erection tease her clit through her sundress. She slid the key card quickly in the door and it flew open as laughter arose in both of us. We were like kids in high school wanting to fuck on anything and anywhere. She let me carry her to the bed, and as soon as her legs hit the mattress, she pulled me down and climbed on top of me.

She tugged my jeans down along with my briefs, running her hands up my legs slowly before licking the tip of my ready cock. She took her hand and started pumping it as she swirled her tongue around my length. “You like that?” She moaned. Up and down she went, and, for fucks sake, I was about ready to bust. It’s been a long time since she’s given me head, and well, I didn’t blame her, but she was making up for the lost time that’s for sure. I threw my head back against the pillow and gripped her hair, tugging on it as she bobbed up and down. She sucked and sucked till I was over the edge with pleasure. It was like I was on fire, and she needed to hose me off. She loved hair pulling, and I used it to my full advantage. I tugged again, and she threw her head up with that sexy grin widening on her face. Then she went back down, sucking.

“Baby, let me…” I breathed heavily losing my train of thought. “Fuck, Millie!” I groaned, and she slid her body on top of me. She came down on my length while I filled her deep. She rode me back and forth rocking and rolling, and I knew I couldn’t handle it long before I busted loose. I reached up and grabbed her tits and squeezed as she bounced up and down. She let out a moan, and I took the time to take her sundress up and over her head, giving me full view of her. After a few more minutes of her grinding back and forth on me, I filled her.

“Just like old days, babe.” She smiled and leaned down to press her lips to mine.

“Just like old days.” I breathed heavily rolling my eyes back in my head. If she felt as amazing as I did right now, and if this continued the rest of trip, I’m pretty sure we would be okay.

  “I love you.”

“Ditto.” I laughed out in exasperated pleasure.

  Chapter 5

“If it’s not exactly like you thought it would be, you think it’s a failure. What about the spectrum of colors in between.”

  Millie

I had a small bounce in my step as I made my way through the hotel lobby out to the beach. I curled my hair loosely and pinned it back. I wore a beautiful spaghetti strap red cocktail dress. The hem came just above my knee. I felt butterflies in my stomach because I wasn’t sure what to expect tonight. I must have bit all my nails off contemplating what he had up his sleeve. I paced by the pool, waiting for him. He wanted it to feel like a real date and didn’t want to see me beforehand. So, he went out earlier to take a walk while I got ready, since it wouldn’t take him any time at all. He’s up in the room changing now. Why was I so nervous? It wasn’t like me to get nervous over a date with my husband. It just seemed like he had this reoccurring theme going on this trip. Buying me things or saying those sweet words he knew I wanted to hear. I couldn’t complain… I’ve loved every minute of it. I swept my hair back and stood by the fence of the pool, leaning on it. My thoughts also ran to Kate and how she and my mom were doing. I wished, in a sense, this could have been a family trip, but I knew Brian and I needed this more.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned my head to see Brian. His other hand wrapped around my waist, and he brought me into a warm squeeze. He looked, fairly impressive considering I packed his clothing and knew what he could possibly wear. His khaki shorts hung from his hips with a black belt holding them up. My eyes traveled back up to his blue and white striped dress shirt. It was buttoned with the first two buttons undone, showing off his pecs poking through his black undershirt th
at was skin tight. His hair was slicked back with gel, and his smile was gleaming. It was practically contagious. He took my hand and stepped back to take a look at me.

“You look beautiful.” He raised my hand to his lips and gently planted a kiss on it, his eyes never leaving mine.

“You look pretty sexy yourself.” I winked at him. I leaned in and pressed my lips to his. He groaned as he took in the kiss, his hand running up my back, rubbing it.

“Are you ready for some dinner first?” He grinned. He took a step back and pulled on my hand while I followed him on the beach. My toes pressed into the cool sand as the sun was close to setting far out over the gulf. After I followed him out on the walk towards the water, I noticed a small little table set up with candles lit up all around it in the sand. Rose petals scattered on the table, and a lovely man stood with a cart next to him. The waves crashed onto the beach in almost a rhythmic motion. The sun was a bright orange and lit up the sky with pinks, blues, yellows, and oranges. It was beautiful as the rays slowly disappeared into the water. Immediately my hand flew to my mouth in shock. Brian did this? Out of our fifteen years together he’s never come up with something so romantic. I turned to face him and brought him into a hug. I kissed him deeply and smiled a silly smile. He gave me that little tingly feeling deep in the pit of my stomach. He did it this time; he had me by total surprise.

“Brian, this is incredible. I love it!” I gasped.

He walked over to the chair and slid it out for me to sit in. Once I sat, he pushed it closer to the table. We had a front row view of the gulf, and it just felt magical. It felt like I was in a movie waiting for somebody to yell ‘cut’ and things would fly back to normal. In my mind, it might as well have been a movie scene because I kept replaying different scenarios in my head on how this night was about to go down.

Brian sat across from me and had the biggest smile plastered to his face. He looked so happy that he did this like it must have taken everything in him not to tell me about it, since he kept it a secret all day.
