A Dangerous Love 5: No Love Lost Page 9

by J Peach

“Wait, when y’all break up?” She asked a little too loud which caused a few folks to look our way, Bianca and Tasha being two of them.

“Saturday, I’m over it, tho,” I lied as Whitney came over towards us.

“That Blaze dude is fuckin’ nuts. Like what the fuck is wrong with him?” She asked, looking at Tish.

  I started laughing.

“Like you said, he’s nuts,” Tish told her.

“No, I’m serious. He just went the fuck off on ol’ girl in the gym for no reason. All she said was ‘hey’ and he lost his shits, got her in there crying. Pissed me off, shid, I had to get outda there.” She said in such a dramatic way it had me cracking up. “You laughing, I’m serious. He just snatched that damn girl up, got her hemmed up to the wall, yelling and cussing her ass out for coming up here.”

“Stupid ass nigga,” Bianca suddenly said before putting the spatula down and making her way to the gym. Of course our nosy asses was going to follow her, Tish’s ass was on my heels. As we got closer you could actually hear Blaze yelling at that girl.

Who the fuck stays to get yelled at? It pissed me off, but at the same time I didn’t care because she’s the stupid bitch that was letting him do it. Blaze might have been crazy, but he was only gon’ do what you allowed him to.

“Why the fuck would you bring yo stupid ass up here? Bitch, I ain’t invite yo ass so what the fuck would make you think I wanted yo ass here? Stupid ass bitch, I should choke the fuck outda yo ass,” Blazes’ hard baritone voice boomed.

Walking in the gym, I saw that Blaze had that damn girl hemmed against the wall. King, Bellow, Sam and Wayne’s asses were sitting on the bench talking like wasn’t shit going on.

“Boon, if you don’t get yo ass off that fuckin’ girl I’ll beat yo stupid ass.” Hearing Bianca, those three idiots got up putting money in their pockets before quickly looking towards Bianca.

“Blaze, get the fuck off of her!” King and Sam both yelled at the same time. I swear those niggas wasn’t shit. “Hey, Momma…” they spoke, trailing off, causing Bianca to turn her glare towards them.

“Get y’all ass the fuck out this gym and go blow up some gotdamn balloons. Go cook something damn it!” She snapped at them and those two overgrown fools hurriedly got out of the gym.

I had never seen King listen to anybody or rush to get away from them. His ass was gone, the first one out of the gym.

Once they were out, Bianca walked up to Blaze and started punching him “So you bad, Boon? Huh?” She snapped punching him in the chest.

“Ma, gon’ somewhere,” he told her, the bass in his voice hard.

She slapped the shit outda him. Shocked, my hand went to my mouth as it opened.

“No, you bad. Yell at me gotdamn it, choke me, nigga,” She said, muffing him in the face hard. “Do you feel like a fucking man now? Yell at me, Boon. Call me a bitch, I dare you,” Bianca yelled, getting in his face, pushing him and punching him in the chest. “So now yo ass can’t talk, huh?” Blaze didn’t say anything which I thought was smart of him.

“You don’t hear me talking to you? I’m in yo face calling you a bitch! Bitch! Do you wanna choke me, Boon? Nigga, I dare yo ass to, come on Boon, bitch.” Bianca was pushing, jerking, punching and slapping all on him and he didn’t do anything. “What the hell is yo problem, Blaze?”

When he didn’t say anything, she went to hit him again.

  “Nothing,” Blaze finally answered.

“Nothing? This is nothing?” She asked, pointing to a crying Krystal. “Girl shut up with all that damn noise. And yo dumbass standing here letting him talk to you like that. Stupid ass standing there crying,” Bianca snapped with a disgusted look on her face.

Tish’s ass let out a slight laugh before covering her mouth as Bianca snapped at Krystal.

“Her dumbass shouldn’t have even came up here—”

“This is a public park, she can come up here if she wants,” Bianca explained to him. “What’s wrong with her coming up here?”

Blaze glanced at me, causing Bianca to do the same. “Are you serious, Boon?”

  “That bitch—”

Bianca slapped the shit outda him again. “That damn girl has a name and it ain’t Bitch. Please don’t tell me you’re this disrespectful to women.”

Blaze didn’t say anything, it was honestly amazing how in check Bianca had him which was really rare considering how he was. Blaze wasn’t disrespectful towards his mother at all. Most of those young dudes were very disrespectful, so it was really crazy watching that.

“You are, aren’t you? I knew you were rough, but dammit, Boon. It’s one thing to be playing, but to be downright disrespectful is something else. And you let him talk to you like that?” Bianca shook her head. “You know what? I don’t give a fuck why she’s here. It don’t give yo ass a right to treat her like that.

“And I warned you before this even happened. What you wanted to do? Hide her? You fuck’d up, Boon, not her. You should’ve left her ass the fuck alone like I told you to. I don’t blame Peaches, in fact I applaud her. I warned you, so no better for your ass,” she snapped at him then turned to Krystal.

“And you a damn fool if you stay with him. You have no respect for yourself so he’s not gon’ respect you. Baby lust will only last for so long and once it’s gone so is he. Blaze is going to leave you and go running right back to Peaches like always. I’m not saying this to hurt you, but I know my son. He loves her, your just an in the moment thing for him. You give him something Peaches doesn’t. Control—”

“Ma—” Blaze called, but she cut him off.

“Shut the hell up, Blaze,” she snapped at him before looking back at Krystal. “You’re dumb as hell with no respect for yourself. You allowing him to control you, which Peaches not gon’ have. So he comes to you, but that’s only gon’ last for so long, he’s gonna leave you. Trust me.”

Looking at Blaze, my eyes locked with his. I shook my head before I turned and walked out the gym.

“Peaches!” Blaze called a few seconds later, coming out the gym and grabbing me.

“No, Blaze. She loves you and you don’t even care, do you?” I asked him.

“Why should I?” He said with a straight face.

“Of course you don’t. Well you should start because when you’re done playing with her, you still won’t have me. So make it work.” Pulling from him, I walked back to the table.

  “Peaches—”

Ignoring Blaze, I walked away from him and went back to the picnic area where I spotted Britt.

“Happy Birthday,” I said, dancing as I walked towards her, making her laugh. “We’re partying, right?” I asked.

“You crazy. Are you really staying later for the party?” She asked happily and I shook my head.

“No, I’m not. But I promise we can do breakfast in the morning then go back to my place and have our own little party. My girls will like you,” I told her.

“That’s cool, we’re going to iHop, right?” she asked, making me laugh.

“Yes, Brittany, we can go to IHOP.” I swear she reminded me so much of myself it was just crazy. “Oh, I got your present in my car, let me go get it.”

Britt started laughing. “I was just about to ask what you got me.”

“I’m thinking about keeping it and just getting you something else like… IHOP,” I told her and she smacked her lips.

“Peaches, why you playin? You never seen a seventeen year old have a temper tantrum before. Don’t play with my gift ‘cause I’ll start screaming and crying, just ask Boon. Don’t I have them?” She asked, looking behind me.

Rolling my eyes, I didn’t have to look back. “I’ll be back.” Moving past her, I started walking towards the parking lot.

“Hold up, Peaches, damn.” Blaze called before catching me by the waist and pulling me against him. “Come ride with me real quick,” he whispered in my ear.

“No, now let me go. I didn’t come here for you. It’s Britt’s b
irthday, that’s the only reason I’m here. Ain’t yo hoe up here?” I asked, pushing at his hands. “Blaze, get off me. I don’t wanna make her think I’m tryna take her man.”

He laughed against my head as his arms tightened around me. “Why you playing? I ain’t her man, I got a girl, but she playin’,” Blaze told me and I rolled my eyes.

I wanted to be over him. He was just unattractive to me right then and I didn’t like him. Even so, I still loved him.

“Well, I wish you’ll go find her and leave me the hell alone.” Turning me around so I was facing him, my back hit the car. “Blaze, let me go, please.”

“I got her, but she pissed and not claiming me right now,” he stated as he took hold of my chin, tilting it up. Licking his lips, head hand came down.

Pushing him back, I slapped him. “Get the fuck off of me, ain’t shit changed. Once I’m out of sight you’re going to be right back at that bitch. Blaze, I know you and I’m not about to play games. I know the looks, the lies, you tryna tell me what you think I wanna here. I’ve seen and heard it all, my daddy was a hoe and so is my brother. I’m not fuckin’ stupid, so go play with your dumb, naïve little bitch and leave me the fuck alone!”

“You’re a stupid ass bitch!” A familiar voice yelled, followed by the sound of glass shattering and a woman screaming.

“What the— Oh, my God!” My hands went to my mouth as I looked across the parking lot to see Sam had thrown a brick into Brandy’s windshield.

  Chapter 14

  Peaches

“Bitch, I’ll blow this mothafuckin’ car up and that fuckin’ house. Then yo ass won’t have shit. Yo ass will be homeless fuckin’ with me. You an ungrateful ass bitch! What else you want? I’ve let you keep that mothafuckin’ house and everything in that bitch and yo ass still got that damn card. I ain’t bitched not once. You better get the fuck outda here, man,” Sam yelled, pushing her back towards the car, but she wasn’t going and stole on his ass.

“Then tell me who the fuck she is! Don’t walk away from me, Sam.” Brandy jerked him back then just started hitting him.

It wasn’t until you heard this one really loud whack that Brandy looked like she regretted the moment she hit him across the face with her fist. Everything happened so fast after that. Sam grabbed Brandy by her throat, slamming her hard on the hood of her car as his fist came towards her. I thought he was about to beat her ass.

His fist hit the car instead and I let out a relieved breath.

“Brandy, get the fuck outda here before I hurt you.” You could hear it in his voice that he was pissed but was trying to control himself.

“Samuel!” Tasha called out to him and he let Brandy go. Seeing that, Brandy started going off as she began swinging on him again.

Hell n’all, he was trying not to hit her but this bitch was trying to provoke him.

Where the fuck they do that at?

Sam kept pushing her ass back, but she kept going at him.

“You gon’ fuckin play me for some bitch. You think you gon’ leave me, Sam?” She snapped.

Pushing her ass back Sam slapped the shit outda her. “Get the fuck off of me. Brandy, I’m trying not to hurt yo ass, man. Now go.” He pushed her back, but she hit him again.

I was getting pissed off because everybody could see he wasn’t trying to hurt her, but nobody was doing anything to try and stop this girl or pull Sam away from her. They all just stood around watching.

“No, fuck you Sam. You think you can just leave me?” She yelled at him before her fists started swinging again.

  Fuck this.

Pushing Blaze away from me, I walked over to them and pulled Sam back.

“You need to chill the fuck out for real. He said gon’, now leave him the fuck alone. You see he ain’t tryna hurt you, so get in your car and go,” I told Brandy. Her ass had pissed me off hitting on him like she was stupid.

I hated bitches like her. Now when he flipped out and beat her ass, he was gon’ be in the wrong. Everyone was gon’ look past her standing there beating his ass.

“Peaches, it cool—” Sam started saying, but Brandy’s ass got loud, stepping in my face.

“Bitch, this ain’t got shit to do with you so get yo hoes ass the fuck on before I beat yo ass,” she snapped before she pushed and muffed the hell out of me.

  Oh hell n’all!

My fist slammed hard into her face, making her stumble back against the car. I kept swinging.

That bitch didn’t know me, she could’ve said all that shit and it would’ve been fine. But no, she had to put her hands on me. That was all kinds of disrespectful.

She was swinging back, hell, even scratching, but I was on top of her and the little shit she was doing I wasn’t fuck’d up about it. I could take some hits, that was nothing.

“You gon’ put yo mothafuckin’ hands on me? Bitch, you crazy.” I grabbed her head and slammed it into the hood of the car a few times before punching her ass in the face.

I was suddenly lifted off my feet. I grabbed Brandy’s hair, bringing her ass with me. I hated when people broke up my fights when I didn’t feel like I was done.

“Let me go! Bitch, you gon muff me,” I snapped, kneeing her ass in the face.

“Peaches, let her go!” Blaze yelled, still tryna yank me away from her.

Wrapping her hair around my hand and balling my fist, I yanked her ass closer to me. I pounded my right fist into her face as I began tuning everyone else around me out. I was never the one to start a fight, but best believe I was always gon’ finish it. Whether I got my ass whooped or not, as long as I feel like I got some good out of it, I was cool.

Hitting her a few more times, I pushing her back and my pink and grey Jordan’s came up, kicking Brandy in the face and making her stupid ass fall. Once she hit the ground my hands went up in the air.

“I’m done, now put me down!” I told Blaze. I was done and I was over it. “Blaze, put me down.” He wasn’t listening, he just continued to carry me farther away from ol’ girl. Once we reached his truck, he stopped and let me go.

“What the fuck was that? Why the hell you go in on her like that?” He was pissed.

“She shouldn’t have muffed me—” I started saying, but he cut me off.

“Why the fuck you even take yo ass over there? That ain’t have shit to do with you,” he yelled at me.

“Get the fuck out my face, I don’t gotda explain shit to you.” Pushing away from him, I turned, looking around for King. “Where’s my brother at?” I asked no one in particular.

“So you two that mothafuckin’ cool you’ll beat his bitch ass for him?” Blaze saying that had me turning back towards him.

“Yeah, we that mothafuckin’ cool, so what? Yo ass didn’t seem to have a problem when I was whooping that bitch ass over yo triflin’ ass.”

Blaze nodded, biting into the bottom of his lip. “It’s a big fuckin’ difference because we fuckin, you ain’t got no ties to that nigga. So why the fuck you go at her like that? What, you tryna be his bitch now?”

My hand came back and I slapped the shit outda him. “No, he’s a friend and I take up for my friends. It was obvious he didn’t want to hurt the fuckin’ girl, but her ass kept going. It didn’t have anything to do with me, but if he would’ve beat her ass he would’ve got in trouble for the shit.

“Unlike yo triflin’ ass, he got a fuckin’ career that would be shot if he gets charged with assault for beating the shit out the stupid ass bitch that was provoking him.” My finger pushed into his chest as I pushed him back. “And if I can remember correctly, I did that same thing for yo ass not too long ago when you was about to beat yo hoe’s ass in front of everybody at yo dealership.

“Don’t ever fuckin’ question me on why I do shit. What type of friend are you for just standing here instead of pulling yo boy away? Like I said, yous a inconsiderate ass nigga. If it doesn’t concern Blaze, you just don’t give a fuck!” I snapped at him. “Now, this is my last time telling you to leave me
alone and stay the hell away from me. Go to yo bitch that’s somewhere around here.”

Not wanting to hear anything else he had to say, I walked away from him and went to my car. To my surprise, he didn’t follow me. He walked away.

  Chapter 15

  Peaches

“You know you didn’t have to beat her ass that bad.” Sam said once he reached me.

“You told her to gon’, she didn’t listen. Plus, she muffed me, which is why I beat her ass, not because of you. I was simply gon’ pull you away from her. Your control seemed to be slipping so I was just coming to get you away,” I explained, grabbing my gift.

“Thanks. I would’ve kicked her ass if my moms wasn’t up here. I felt bad for leaving her, but I let Brandy’s ass keep the house, her car, and she’s still holding that card. I’m not messed up about none of that shit because she don’t have anything. I told her figure out what she wanted to do and I’d pay her way up until she got on her feet. This bitch wanna lash the fuck out, it’s all cool. Good lookin’.” He ran a hand over his face, looking stressed.

“Don’t sweat it. We friends, I lookout for my friends. You’ll soon come to realize that,” I mumbled that last bit as my eyes roamed over his face. He looked stressed and I felt bad for him. Even though this happened, I could still tell he loved Brandy. As my eyes looked him over, I noticed a long scratch on the side of his left eye. I was tempted to wipe the blood from it, but I didn’t. “Your girl must be part cat or some shit, she got you good right here,” I touched the scratch, then pulling my hand back.

“You should see the ones on my back,” he replied with a creepy smile, making me laugh.

“You stupid.” I reached in my bag and grabbed the flat square box, handing it to him. “Here, I want my three hundred and fifty dollars for this.” I said as he opened the box.
