Sean leaned in and kissed Lindsay tenderly on the lips. “I love you,” he whispered.

Mina and Allison nudged and jostled each other. “I want to hold him.”

  “Me first!”

  “No, we had a deal.”

  “No deal.”

Lindsay laughed. “Girls, girls,” she chided gently as the baby fussed and started to whimper. “You'll get your turn. You'll be taking turns babysitting him. I have to get back to work soon.”

The girls whooped and cheered, but Sean huffed unhappily. “You're going back to work?”

“Yes. I love my job. And Abigail and Dr. Zhou have been so good to me. I can't leave them in the lurch. They have so many patients!”

  “I know, I know. It's just...”

“I'll take some time off though,” Lindsay said. “I hope they can find a temporary replacement...”

“I'll send my lions to help them,” Sean said immediately.

“Lions?” Lindsay started. “I don't know...”

“Some of the older lionesses can be very gentle. They can help the good doctors until you get back.”

“Okay. I'll have to talk to Abigail and Dr. Zhou about it, and see what they think,” Lindsay smiled. She wondered how their patients would react to werelions hovering solicitously over them.

“What's his name?” Mina asked, tickling her baby brother under the chin.

Lindsay looked up at her mate and her girls. “Sam,” she said.

She saw them glance at one another before breaking out into identical proud smiles. “You named him after us! Our initials. Sean. Allison. Mina.”

“Sam Hunter,” Sean declared with pride, stroking the baby's soft downy hair. He was a redhead, just like Lindsay and Mina, and he had the most beautiful amber eyes, like Sean and Allison. “My boy.”

Sean inhaled a deep breath, then reached out to pull Mina and Allison to him. “My girls.” The girls chuckled and hugged him back.

As Lindsay passed the baby to Mina and Allison, Sean took her into his arms and held her lovingly. Smiling, she tilted her face up and pressed her mouth to his.

“My mate,” Sean growled against her lips.

Lindsay sighed happily and melted into his kiss. She never imagined that her life could be so purrfect.

  Never in her wildest dreams.
