It’s exciting that Caleb and I became godparents to Zane. And tonight we’ll see our godson because we’re going over to Caylan’s for a family get-together. It will probably be the last time we’re all in one place before the twins arrive, unless I keep them incubating past Thanksgiving; however, I suspect it’ll be any day now.
I’m sitting on our bed putting my earrings in place and slipping on my shoes—I can’t do anything with laces. My darling husband enters our bedroom to check on me since we’re supposed to be leaving in a few minutes to head to Caylan’s. He’s wearing a very mischievous expression, and I know he’s up to something.
“Do I even want to know what that look means?” I ask dubiously.
He has his hands behind his back, so it’s obvious he has some sort of a surprise.
“You want to do something kinky before we have to leave?” He queries with that goofy grin I adore so much.
“Umm, it depends on what it is,” I reply hesitantly.
“Well, it involves an orgasm,” he says, trying to sweeten the pot.
“In that case, I’m in. But what’s behind your back before I agree to this?” I raise a brow at him in question.
Instead of answering, he pulls out the item that was behind his back. I burst out laughing. It’s a vibrator that’s rainbow-colored and in the shape of a unicorn’s horn.
I’m still laughing as I say, “You’re crazy!”
“Nah, sweetness, not crazy. I like to think of myself as being ‘twitterpated,’” he smirks as he turns on the vibrator.

Please consider leaving a review on Amazon by visiting my Author Central Page at http://amzn.to/2xiS7vi, and selecting the corresponding book. I truly hope you enjoyed Liz and Caleb’s steamy, sweet cougar tale (well, in this case the other tail applies too, ha ha), and that it offered you an escape from reality for a bit. Thanks again for reading!
I’m working on more stories, and even though this series has come to an end, you never know if I may revisit it in the future ;)
Acknowledgements
It was incredibly difficult for me to let go of this series. This fulfilled a dream I never thought would come true. From my first book-baby with Playing Heart to Get, to this one, they have all been my children, in a sense. It’s hard to see them grow up and go out there in the publishing world. But I have high hopes for each one of them, and at the end of the day, they still need their mama.
I can’t thank each and every reader enough for embracing this series. This five-book adventure has been my heart and soul. Each and every character has a piece of me, and I have a piece of them. Y’all are the reason I write!
I have to thank my friends and family for seeing me through another creation. Their support, love, and encouragement is never taken for granted.
My team is amazing. My proofreaders, betas, editor, tribe, and crew who help promote my books are so valued and appreciated. Hugs and kisses!
A special shout-out to fellow writer Dain for letting me quote his poem at the beginning. Watching the Fire is reflective of the tone of this book. What I love most about poetry is the individual interpretation. I love that in that moment, a poem can mean what you need it to mean.
Please stay connected with me so you can see what’s coming next. Just because this incredible series has come to its epic conclusion, doesn’t mean I don’t have more planned. And who knows, maybe one day a character or two from this series may pop up in another series or standalone book I publish.
Many thanks again, you awesome-sauce readers!
Hearts & Smiles,
