Top in the Class

A few more tears slid down Marissa’s cheek. She balled her fists for a moment, then stormed off. Terry let out a sigh. It was over, he hoped. There was only one more thing to do. He sent a message to Kyle. With any luck, I think I’ve fixed things.

He didn’t expect Kyle to write back immediately, so he continued on with the rest of his day. Sure enough, Kyle didn’t respond until Terry was at work. What did you do?

The problem with texting was that Terry didn’t know if this was a simple question, a stern question, or a panicked question. Accounting for all three, he replied, I talked to her and convinced her to tell the truth. I watched her text her parents and let them know what really happened.

Kyle didn’t hesitate this time. Why would you do that?

Again, uncertain whether Kyle was asking or demanding to know, Terry wrote, Because you have been making every effort to stay moral these past few months, despite my not being the greatest of influences. You don’t deserve to be taken down by a spiteful lie.

The silence returned. Terry tried to coax another response by adding, I made a really convincing argument. I’ve picked up some good techniques from this one class I’m taking.

Still nothing, but that was okay. Kyle was going through a lot and if he needed time alone to think, Terry would give it to him. He chuckled to himself as he realized that not two months ago being ignored would have had him worrying all night about whether Kyle was angry at him or not. Now he didn’t care so much. True, if Kyle was upset that Terry had taken matters into his own hands, Terry would feel some guilt, but at least he knew he deserved it. Having a reason for the silence made the situation a hundred times more tolerable, and if, as a worst-case scenario, Kyle decided Terry had crossed a line and they shouldn’t see each other ever again, at least there was some closure.

I’ll take what I can get, Terry thought. But if I’m lucky, I think I’ve just earned a spot in Kyle’s good graces for a long time.

  * * * *

The next morning, Terry’s phone rang. Thinking it might be his manager calling to offer him extra shift hours—pretty much the only reason anyone called him these days—he quickly snatched his phone off his bed to answer it. The phone continued to ring as Terry did a double take and stared at the screen. The name on the display was “Hot Kyle.” Not “Coworker Kyle” as he might have expected, but “Hot Kyle,” plain and simple.

“Hey,” he answered. He didn’t know how to greet Kyle, since the last time Kyle had called him was before the semester started and he had been jerking off at the time. Terry doubted that was the case here. Regardless, a beat of blood sent a rush of heat between his legs.

“Adonis.” Kyle didn’t sound flustered or otherwise occupied. If anything, his voice was too steady. Judging by Kyle’s use of his nickname for Terry, there was a chance someone could be listening, but there was something Kyle desperately wanted to say. A long pause proceeded his next statement, so long that Terry wondered if someone had entered the room and started listening. “I don’t know what you said to her, but her parents just marched her into my office to make her apologize. They had her tell them my office hours so they could be here first thing. They were furious and I think she’d been crying, but…I mean, at the very least it sounded like a genuine apology. I wasn’t sure what would happen after you made her tell them. This…this definitely took me by surprise.”

Terry beamed. “So you’re not in trouble anymore?”

“Well, they’re probably going to keep a closer eye on me for a while, just in case, but fortunately I am, for the time being, innocent.”

“So long as they don’t check your incoming texts, eh?” Terry said it teasingly, but he was genuinely concerned.

Kyle chuckled. “I told you, I delete those…after I’ve made back-ups on my home computer.”

Terry sighed with relief and his smile returned. “Good. Then as far as anyone knows, you’re just another bachelor academic with somewhat narcissistically sociopathic students.”

“Ugh, ain’t that the truth.” Kyle paused. “I do have this one student, though. He’s smart as a whip, incredibly loyal, helpful, amicable, and I have a strong suspicion that he has a crush on me. He wouldn’t be the first, but at least he’s sensible enough to keep it to himself. I can’t imagine how awkward it would be if he was like some of his predecessors…”

“Bah,” Terry scoffed. “Now who’s being narcissistic? Just because you’re toned and witty and pull off the salt-and-pepper look better than George Clooney, that doesn’t mean your students have crushes on you.”

Kyle laughed. “Even if they did, I’m saving myself. There’s a certain handsome suitor I’ve promised myself to.”

“Is he worth it?” Terry asked.

The grin on Kyle’s face was audible. “Absolutely.”

  Epilogue

Terry knocked on the door nervously. From inside, Kyle told him to enter. He sat at his computer, but he took his hands off the keyboard and folded them on his desk when Terry stepped over the threshold.

“Close the door behind you,” Kyle said. With a wary look into the hallway behind Terry, he added, “And lock it, if you don’t mind.”

Terry turned the lock. His heart was beating hard and slowly climbing its way up to his throat. “This is…unusual,” he said. “You’ve never called me into your office before.”

Kyle gave Terry a look, one of those looks professors give to purposefully make a student sweat without belying their actual intent. “I’ve been looking over your final paper,” he said. “I wanted to know if this was some kind of joke.”

Sweat was indeed beginning to bead on Terry’s neck. “I know it’s not my best work, but—”

“Exactly. Terry, you are among my best students, if not the top student of all my classes.” Kyle gestured to the computer screen. “If I were generous I would give this a C. It’s incoherent, the phrasing is awkward, and I have found no fewer than nine simple errors that could have been fixed with a basic read-through. It’s like you wrote this at the last minute, drunk.” He sat back in his chair, hands still folded patiently. “I put a lot of faith in you these past couple months and I think I deserve an explanation.”

Terry turned his face away. He put his hands behind his back bashfully. “It’s…I’d rather not say.”

“Is there something going on in your personal life?”

“You could say that…” Terry gave Kyle a timid sidelong glance. “I—I haven’t—” He took a deep breath. “This is kinda embarrassing to admit, but I haven’t had sex in a long, long time. It’s gotten so bad that sometimes I’ll just zone out, go into a sexual fantasy, and when I snap out of it I’m so hard that I just have to take a break to jerk off, but even that doesn’t satisfy me. I’ve tried dating apps, but it’s like every guy is too intimidated to come on to me.”

Kyle nodded. “You are…impressively attractive. No doubt all those guys on the apps think you’re too good to be true, that you’re catfishing them. It’s too bad. They’re missing out.”

Terry smiled. “Thanks. But…that doesn’t help me. I started writing this paper weeks before the deadline, but with all my other courses and…distractions, I didn’t finish it until the night before it was due. Then I realized I had used the wrong citation format, so I had to fix that, and—”

Kyle waved his hand to cut Terry off. “I get it, I get it.” He sighed. “I will say, I am disappointed in you, but I do understand how mentally exhausting sexual frustration can be. Therefore—” Kyle stood up from his chair, “—I am willing to let you resubmit this paper, after some heavy editing. But before then, I think we need to handle your…problem.” He undid the buttons on his shirt, slowly, sensually. “It’s a teacher’s duty to ensure that their students are working at the best of their abilities. If your peers won’t help you…regain your focus, then that responsibility falls on me.”

Terry stared opened-mouthed at Kyle. “What, here? Now?”

“I need those edits back as soon as possi
ble. You know how strict my late policy is.” Kyle slid his shirt off his arms and undid his belt. “Tell me how I can help you, and I’ll make sure to be thorough.”

The meek schoolboy ruse, while entertaining, had lost its fun. Terry’s lips pulled back in a commanding smile. “All I need is that willing ass of yours.” He nodded at the desk. “Bend over for me.”

Kyle pushed his laptop to one end of the cleared desk. It was smaller than the desk in his real office, so he also put the mouse and mousepad on top of it to give them more space. Pants around his ankles, he laid his chest across the surface of the desk, hips in the air. Diffused light illuminated his back. The blinds were down on the bedroom window, hiding the drizzly late-January afternoon outside, but Terry pretended it was open so that, like with the window on Kyle’s office door, anyone who passed by might catch them in the act.

Terry had been begging to fulfill this fantasy for the past two weeks, ever since his grades had come back and there was officially no conflict of interest between him and Kyle. They had celebrated here that first night—and again the following morning—and Terry was relieved to find that Kyle was just about everything he had hoped he’d be. It was an absolute treat whenever he said to Paul or Olivia, “I’m going out with Kyle; don’t wait up!” and caught a glimpse of their astonished expressions on his way out the door. But even through all that, Kyle had been hesitant to do student/professor roleplay.

“Consider it a means of correcting your past,” Terry had said. “Don’t think of that other bastard. Think of me.” With that he had pulled Kyle flush against him, grinding their hips together subtly. “Think of this.”

As usual, Kyle eventually submitted. They worked out the narrative for this scenario in advance to avoid triggering any of Kyle’s bad memories. Terry intended to make this so good that anything else would be hazy by comparison. He gently rubbed the small of Kyle’s back the way Kyle liked it.

“Ready?” Terry asked. He certainly was. Even though he had seen people fit their entire forearm inside a condom, he was so hard that he worried the one he was wearing might burst.

“I’m all yours, hot stuff,” Kyle replied with a grin.

That was exactly what Terry wanted to hear. The desk shook as Terry gradually built up speed. Kyle dug his fingers into the edge and pushed back into Terry’s thrusts. Every now and then Terry had to reach over and adjust the laptop so it wouldn’t accidentally slide off the edge.

“Unnf, cum for me, Adonis,” Kyle moaned. “I want you to cum until you’re empty. I want you to c—oh, God…”

Terry had braced himself with one hand on the desk so he could use the other to reach around and squeeze Kyle’s balls. He leaned forward, his sweat mingling with Kyle’s, and murmured, “I want you to cum, too, Professor. Of course you’re gonna cum, aren’t you?”

Kyle nodded feverishly. “Of course,” he echoed. “Of course.” Terry rolled Kyle’s balls under his thumb and Kyle let out a throaty squeal. “Fff—Keep that up and I’ll cum before you do.”

“Oh, well, wouldn’t want that. After all, this is for my benefit. I do like to share the pleasure though…” Terry groped Kyle one more time then pulled back his hand to lick it. The taste made him salivate, and once his palm was slick enough he wrapped it around Kyle’s dick. He had had this girthy beauty inside him a few times now and he adored it. Keeping that arm steady, Terry straightened his back to resume thrusting, except now he was focusing on pushing Kyle forward through his encircling fingers.

When Terry sensed his climax was inevitable, he leaned forward again to ask, “How do you want to cum?”

Kyle, in his addled state, took a moment to answer. “On you,” he panted.

  “Where?”

  “Your ass.”

Terry smiled. “We can do that.” Both his arms were tired from their respective duties. He took hold of Kyle’s hips and didn’t stop until he felt the last of his cum shoot into the condom. It came in four waves this time, each more satisfying than the last as the tip of the condom inflated to hold the increasing load before the tightness of Kyle’s ass pushed it back to soak Terry’s cockhead. Awareness came back to the rest of his body. Exhaustion was already setting in. He pulled out and tapped Kyle on the side. “Switch.”

This was Kyle’s favorite way to finish. As much as he liked bottoming for Terry, he enjoyed laying claim to the younger man as he came. Terry, in turn, enjoyed the sensation of the hot spray against his skin, so he had no problem at all baring whichever part of him Kyle wanted to mark that day. In this case, he was also grateful for the chance to rest against the desk and catch his breath.

Kyle nuzzled his cock against the cleft of Terry’s ass as he took the bottle of lube from the drawer where Terry had left it and drizzled a line down his shaft. Terry watched over his shoulder. He could see in Kyle’s eyes that he was close.

“C’mon, Professor,” Terry begged. “I’ve wanted this for so long…” They had last seen each other two days ago, but Terry relished every encounter. Furthermore, if this had taken place in Kyle’s office at the end of the semester, that statement would have been true.

With Terry’s encouragement, Kyle threw his head back and released. It hit Terry on his side at first, but Kyle aimed the stream down in time for a good amount of it to coat Terry’s left cheek. Terry’s eyes rolled back as he smiled.

“Thank you, Professor,” he said. “I feel so inspired now.” He blew out a deep breath. “Guess I’d better go work on those edits.”

Kyle laughed breathlessly. He leaned against the desk next to Terry. “If I did award extra credit for sexual favors, you would definitely get straight A’s.”

“I got straight A’s in your class anyway,” Terry reminded.

“So you did.” Kyle yawned. “That was intense. Don’t think I’ll be able to sit at this desk without picturing that for at least a month.”

“What about when the semester starts?” The first day of classes for the new year was just over a week away. Terry hadn’t registered for any of Kyle’s classes, but they agreed to put this on hold until Spring Break.

“I’ll be thinking of you then, too,” Kyle said with a smirk. “I shouldn’t, but, well, can’t be helped. You were a good student, but you’re a bad influence.”

“The worst,” Terry agreed, shrugging himself off the desk and back to full height. His head swam a little, but he shook it off easily with a grin. “Which is why you keep me around.”

Kyle nodded, the side of his mouth still curved upward. “That, among other things.”

“Like what?” They had talked about this before, but Terry wanted to hear it again regardless. A week into their renewed relationship, Kyle admitted that of all the partners he had had, Terry was the one that turned him on the most and never failed to make him cum. Terry confessed his Paul-aided attempts to find someone else, and that he similarly couldn’t find anyone who could compare to Kyle.

Kyle shrugged. “Oh, I have my reasons.”

Terry grabbed him tenderly by the back of the head and kissed him. With a devilish grin he said, “Wait twenty minutes and I’ll give you a few more.”
