My Soul For You Page 25

by Morgana Phoenix

The fabric was already wet and grew damper as he rubbed her. Katie pushed against his hand, urging him silently to get past the barrier to where she wanted him most, but he seemed content just to torture her.

“Turn,” he said darkly into her ear.

He positioned her with her back to his chest and her legs sprawled open across both of his. The hard length of him lay cradled beneath her, a sweet reminder of what she hoped was to come.

His hands went to her breasts. His fingers skimmed the nipples, rolling them to hard, sensitive points. Katie gasped and wiggled against his erection, mostly to ease the flood of desire pooling between her thighs. Her head rolled back against his shoulder and she arched into his hands.

“This won’t last very long if you keep that up,” he murmured into her ear, his voice thick and breathy.

Katie smirked inwardly. “What? This?” She arched her hips into his, grinding her center over his straining shaft.

He groaned and bit her shoulder. His hip rose up to meet hers and they both shuddered.

“Get the condom from my wallet,” he rasped. “I need to be inside you.”

Ignoring his request, Katie lifted her hips just enough to pry him free of his sweats. Maybe it was the angle, but he seemed longer, thicker in her grasp. The head was fat and purple and steadily leaking. Katie smoothed her thumb over the clear liquid, smearing it over the cap and down the satin shaft.

  “Katie…”

His groan only fueled the hunger driving her. It filled her with a giddy sort of satisfaction, knowing she was so fully in control. She loved knowing she held all the power over him.

“My wallet…” he broke off with a gasp when she closed her fist around him and slid her free hand past the tight waistband of his pants to cup him. She gave him a light squeeze. “Jesus … Katie!”

“You know what I’ve never done?” she whispered, ignoring his choked whimpers.

Carefully, she slid out of his lap and lowered herself between his knees. His eyes widened. The muscle in her hand jerked. She licked her dry lips and met his gaze.

“I never wanted to,” she said, leaning forward. “But I want to for you.”

“Jesus…” His quiet prayer was cut short by the flick of her tongue over the head.

His salty tang filled her mouth. The vein along the underside of his cock pattered rapidly beneath her grip. She held him firmly, but gently, as she shifted a little higher, brought him forward and lowered her head.

  He hissed and jerked. “Teeth!”

Katie quickly tucked her teeth behind her lips and tried again. “Better?”

  He relaxed again. “Yes.”

His hands slipped through her hair, holding her, guiding her as she adjusted to fitting him as far back into her throat as she could without gagging. It took some clumsy attempts and a few gentle pointers from him, before she got into the rhythm. She figured out quickly how he liked it; how he liked it when she circled the head with her tongue every time she pulled up and how he swore just a little louder when she gave his balls a light squeeze when she descended. She didn’t even care that her jaw ached from being wedged around such a wide girth. Feeling him tremble and whisper her name made it all worth it.

“Stop,” he breathed just when she was getting into a good groove.

She pulled back, lips feeling swollen and moist. “Did I do it wrong?”

He was staring at her mouth, his nostrils flaring with every ragged inhale. “No, but I want to be inside you when I come.”

She was still kneeling in front of him when he rose and stripped in the blink of an eye. He bent down, hoisted her to her feet, and propped her up on the armrest of the chair. He liberated her of her panties and tossed them somewhere with his clothes. His hips filled the place between her thighs and he surged home deep inside her with a single, powerful thrust.

  Katie cried out.

“Up,” he said, the only warning he gave before she was lifted into his arms with him still impaled deep inside her and carried to the terrace doors.

She was thrust back against the cold glass and given no time to cry out when his arms were suddenly under her knees and she was clinging on with just her arms around his neck.

He slammed into her, again and again, rattling the window with every violent thrust. The angle was impossibly deep and every penetration sent slivers of delicious pain skating through her. Katie couldn’t even think to tell him someone might see them. In that moment, she didn’t care.

  “Harder!” she sobbed. “Harder, Kaleb!”

He snarled into the side of her neck as he drew back, nearly coming out of her before slamming back up inside her.

Katie screamed. Her skull ricocheted off the glass as colors exploded across the inside of her closed eyelids. Her nails cut into Kaleb’s shoulders as he obliged her command.

She was so close when he stopped and pulled them away from the window. He marched them towards the bathroom, but by passed the room still humid from her shower and moved into his bedroom. He set her down gently back onto her feet.

“Get on the bed,” he told her.

  Katie did without question.

“On your hands and knees,” he ordered. “Hands on the headboard.”

Trembling with excitement and the orgasm just inches away, Katie crawled to the top of the bed and went up on her knees. Her sweaty, shaky fingers curled around the wrought iron frame.

The mattress dipped as he moved up behind her. She gasped and shuddered when he slid his hands up her body.

  “Spread your knees.”

She did, barely breathing as she waited for him to fill her again.

  He didn’t.

He lowered his head and sprinkled kisses down the curve of her spine. His hands palmed her breasts. His fingers pinched the nipples until she cried out. Then and only when she was nearly half crazed with need, he came up behind her, his hands bruising as he took her by the hips and drove her down, impaling her once more on his cock.

“Yes!” Katie hissed, head falling back as she greedily bucked into him.

She was drawn into his chest so she sat with her legs folded on either side of his. His hands instantly went to work palming her breasts and tweaking the nipples into hard buds.

“Don’t let go of the headboard, Katie,” he growled into her ear.

Mindless with passion, Katie held tight to the headboard with both hands and lifted her hips. She slammed down, making them both cry out. She repeated the pace while he whispered feverishly into her ear about how good her pussy felt and how he loved filling it with his cock. Her favorite was how he growled at her to fuck him harder.

It should have mortified her, but every dirty purr felt like a praise and she wanted to keep pleasing him. Every time his body thrust up inside her and he groaned into her shoulder blade, Katie felt another burst of triumph sing through her.

“I’m coming, Kaleb!” she gasped, squeezing her eyes closed as the pressure became blinding.

One hand dropped to her slippery folds and he took the tight bundle of nerves under his fingers. Her head rocked wildly from side to side in desperation as a whirlwind broke out inside her. She felt the ocean roaring in her ears as her entire body convulsed.

Kaleb held her down, keeping himself impaled deep within her while drawing out every last shudder from her with each slow flick of his finger over her helpless clit.

“Kaleb!” Katie slumped forward, exhausted and faint.

He continued to lightly massage her clit as he rocked inside her. His breathing pulsed around them, mingling with hers, as his heart drummed against her back. His muscles tensed. She felt him give three violent thrusts before he shuddered with a groan. Warmth seeped between her legs and she shivered.

Carefully, he slipped out of her and rolled to the side. He gathered her up into his arms where she cuddled against his chest, already half asleep.

“I could sleep forever,” she mumbled into his pillow.

Kaleb chuckled as he untangled hims
elf from her and slipped off the bed. He returned a moment later and eased her onto her back. A warm cloth wiped away their combined essences from between her legs before she was back in his arms.

  Katie was already asleep.

Katie awoke the next morning with the feeling of being absolutely surrounded. It took her a moment to put the pieces together why there was an arm and a leg pinning her to the mattress.

Against the back of her neck, Kaleb snored softly. His chest rose and fell. He had her completely cocooned in the folds of his arms, and she had never felt so comfortable in her life. She cursed herself for needing the bathroom as she crawled out of his embrace and tiptoed out of the room.

Letting Kaleb sleep, she finished her business and crept into the sitting room and the glass doors overlooking a world of pale blue with streaks of pink. Katie stretched and watched as dawn crept over the rest of the world.

That’s how Kaleb found her, naked, arms still raised, fingers clasped in her hair, staring out the window. Without a word, he slipped his arms around her middle and pulled her back into his equally naked frame.

Katie dropped her arms and turned her face to nuzzle his neck. “Morning.”

Bending at the knees, he scooped her up into his arms and carried her back to the bedroom. She didn’t protest, not even when she was set on the mattress and nudged onto her back. When he crawled over her, she was already ready for him. She met his mouth in a deep kiss reserved for exactly those moments, moments when words were unnecessary and all that mattered was getting the other naked. But even with their hearts drumming with riotous desire, his penetration was painfully slow. His hands were gentle, his kisses breathtaking. When she gasped his name and crumbled in a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors, he held her as though she were made of precious glass and caught every moan and whimper with his mouth.

He scattered kisses along her jaw to her ear where her blood was still humming peacefully. He buried his face into the curve of her neck as his body moved against hers.

Katie knew he was close, knew from the way his back muscles tensed and his entire body trembled that he would growl her name and shudder at any moment. It was a moment when she knew he would be semi incoherent, or at least incoherent enough not to hear her when she turned her face into the warm skin of his shoulder and murmured the three words she was just not brave enough to say to his face, not yet.

Kaleb gave a final shudder and slumped in her arms. His chest rose and fell rapidly. His heart cracked in unison with hers. He kept his face tucked into the curve of her shoulder, washing her collarbone with every shaky exhale.

Katie smiled to herself, feeling pretty sneaky for not getting caught in her moment of absolute weakness. She pressed a kiss to his shoulder, sealing the words into his skin. Her fingers moved along his spine, tracing the ropes of muscle flexing beneath taut flesh. She was feeling pretty content when her phone shrieked from the nightstand, reminding her she needed to get home and prepare for school.

Groaning, she twisted onto her stomach and reached for the thing. There was a text from Ashlee after she had flipped off the alarm. It wanted to know how the date went. She made a mental note to answer it later.

Behind her, still braced over her on his hands and knees, Kaleb kissed the slope of her shoulder, the seam where it connected to her neck and stopped at the curve of her jawline.

  “Katie?”

“Yes?” She set the phone down on the bed and started to twist around.

  “I love you, too.”

Katie nearly didn’t make it to school on time. It was only her very long text to Ashlee about grabbing her clothes, her books, and her brush that saved her from heading into class wearing Kaleb’s oversized sweats and shirt with strappy sandals and a serious case of bedhead.

“You don’t have to park in front of the school,” Katie told him when Kaleb pulled up right in front. Thankfully most of the students were already inside the building, or in a hurry to get inside so no one noticed.

“I’m not letting you walk a whole block in sandals. It’s winter for crying out loud. There’s snow everywhere.” He looked past her to the window. “I think I see Ashlee.”

Sure enough, the blonde was standing on the front steps, waving for the whole world to see. At her feet was a small pile items. Katie spotted her backpack right away.

“I need to go change for class,” Katie said turning to him. “I’ll see you later?”

His lips bowed in a beautiful smile. “Yeah, you will.”

He kissed her lightly and pulled away.

“Bye.” She threw herself out of the car and sprinted to where Ashlee stood waiting for her.

“You have some serious explaining to do, young lady!”

“Bathroom,” Katie panted. “I’ll tell you everything.”

And she did. She told Ashlee everything about the previous night and meeting Kaleb’s family while she flung articles of clothes over the stall door for Ashlee to stow away.

“What assholes!” Ashlee declared. “And his dad said, like, nothing the whole time?”

Tugging her jeans up around her hips and fastening the snap, Katie shook her head. “Nothing. I mean, he was nice and all, but his wife was such a bitch!”

“Uh yeah!” She heard Ashlee yanking the zipper up on Katie’s backpack. “Then you just went to Kaleb’s place for the night?”

Katie yanked open the stall door and rushed out, adjusting the hem of her sweater over her jeans. She scooped her hair out of the collar and let it tumble in horrible tangles down her back.

“He asked and I really wanted to,” she said, hurrying to the mirrors above the sink.

Ashlee passed her the hairbrush. “And you didn’t think to set the alarm?”

“I did set the alarm!” Katie hissed as she yanked violently at the knots.

  “It didn’t go off?”

She couldn’t contain it even if she had wanted to. She looked at her friend, lip caught between her teeth. “He said he loved me.”

Ashlee’s scream exploded like the after effects of a bomb. It shattered the sound barrier and could have possibly caused several teachers to have a stroke, but Katie didn’t care. She was giddy enough to burst herself. When Ashlee tackled her in a fierce embrace, she clutched her friend back.

“I want all the details!” Ashlee continued to shout as she shook Katie like a rag doll. “All of them!”

Katie laughed. “Not now! We have to get to class.”

Ashlee cursed. “Okay, after school, but you have to promise.”

Katie agreed, but only because this was the sort of thing every girl needed a best friend for, to gush about boys and first loves. She hadn’t been that happy in her entire life, and never with Dylan. It had never been love for her with him. There were times she had asked herself if that was what she felt, but it never was and maybe that was the cause behind all their arguments. She just never loved him. Not in the whole year they’d been together. She had cared about him, had tried to love him, but it was nothing like how she felt with Kaleb. Kaleb made the world vanish and her heart race and her stomach flutter. She felt alive with him and safe. She was happy. But more than all that, she couldn’t wait to see him again.

Dressed and looking as presentable as possible, Katie waved goodbye to Ashlee and hurried to her locker. There was three minutes before the first bell and it would take at least most of that just to get across the school.

She was the only one in the hall when she reached her locker. She dropped her bag on the floor and spun the combination. It sprung open on the first attempt.

Stooping down, she began yanking things out of her backpack and trading it for the books she needed for the next two slots. Sweeping strands of hair behind her ear, she shot to her feet and was about to shut the door when something on the door caught the corner of her eye.

Katie turned her head, her heart already wedged in her throat, already knowing she wouldn’t like what she would see. Her gut roiled even as her palms began to sweat.

Somewhere in the background, the bell shrieked.

  Katie didn’t move.

  Chapter Eighteen

“Did you forget our bargain, Katie?”

Katie stared at the words on the strip of paper, rereading them until they were forever etched into the soft tissues of her brain.

In her other hand, the screen on her phone remained stubbornly blank. The text she’d sent Kaleb had long since remained unanswered and she wanted to shake the phone as though that would somehow make him text her back quicker.

It wasn’t his fault he wasn’t answering. She usually turned her phone off the minute she walked into class and didn’t turn it on again until lunch, and then again after school. But she hated that it was taking so long.

In front of her, in a series of very organized streaks, she had put together a diagram rather than focus on the series of notes on the blackboard waiting to be copied down. GALA was in the center with lines connecting it to other bubbles across the page. Leon DuBois was in one bubble. Kaleb in another. From his bubble she had Shop outlined and circled next to the words—pictures #2. From gala she had a separate bubble labeled pictures #1—penthouse. Each one was stamped with a date and time and as much detail as she could remember. Part of her wished she had done this sooner, like when Kaleb had told her to. She felt like an idiot for putting it off for so long.

She rubbed the tips of her fingers over her brow. Her hand shook when she lowered it once more.

  She picked up the message.

“Did you forget our bargain, Katie?”

No. She had definitely not forgotten him.

Her phone buzzed across her page, scaring the crap out of her. She scooped it up and tucked it under the table to read Kaleb’s text.

  “Where are you?”

  Fingers trembling, she replied, “English.”

  A moment passed.

  “What’s wrong?”

She wet her lips. “I got another message.”

  A pause followed.

  “Are you okay?”
