If it wasn’t for the untimely call from Angelique she and Tyce would have been fucking all over the kitchen floor, but he’d gotten the strength to reject her after he hung up. This evening would be different. There would be no interruptions from desperate incarcerated bitches to ruin her plans of seduction. All she needed to do was remind Tyce of how much he still loved her by reintroducing her pussy to his abandoned dick. The rest would fall into place. The only problem was he wasn’t home to play his part. Dallas decided to call his phone to see where he was.
Tyce and Angelique were sharing a sunset stroll along the beach when the song Paid in Full started playing suddenly. Tyce pulled his phone from his back pocket and peeked at the screen. A look of irritation spread across his peaceful face as he saw Dallas’s number in bright red illumination.
“Guess who it is?” He turned to Angelique.
“Who is it?” She stopped walking.
“It’s Dallas.”
“Let me answer it!” Angelique held her hand out.
Just as Tyce was about to hand her the phone the song stopped playing abruptly.
“Damn, she hung up.” Tyce shrugged his shoulders.
“I’ll call her back. Give me your phone.”
Tyce handed his phone to her without hesitation folding his arms across his chest.
“I’ll talk to the bitch! Oh yeah I definitely wanna talk to this nigga.” Angelique hit the call back button on the touch screen.
Dallas was heading back to her car when her phone rang. She happily hit the answer button.
“Wasup baby? Where are you?” Dallas smiled into the phone.
“He’s walkin’ on a beach with me bitch!”
Dallas stopped walking, “Who the fuck is this?”
“You know who the fuck this is?” Angelique said casually.
“Angelique?” Dallas said in disbelief.
“See, you are smarter than a fifth grader.” Angelique put her free hand on her hip.
Dallas couldn’t believe it was actually her on the phone. She was supposed to be locked up. What the hell was she doing prancing around on a fucking beach!
“Bitch you’re supposed to be in jail! How’d you get…”
Angelique cut her off. “Don’t worry ‘bout all of that! I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”
“Where’s Tyce?”
“He’s right here next to me lookin’ fine as ever! And no he don’t wanna talk to you, so don’t bother askin’!”
A sly smile spread across her face as Dallas had a wicked thought.
“I see you changed the downstairs bathroom. What happened to the peach and tan decorations I put up?” Dallas played with a lock of her freshly curled hair.
“What the fuck are you talkin’ ‘bout? How the fuck you know what color my bathroom is?”
Dallas leaned her butt against the shiny car. She was enjoying this little game to the fullest.
“Because baby girl. I took a loooong hot shower in your bathroom after Tyce fucked me on your kitchen floor. I was standing there naked the other day waiting for you to finish your little collect call.”
For the moment Angelique was silent and just listened to her arch enemy’s sarcastic replay of the sexual highlights. Her mind rewound back to the last time she called Tyce as Dallas continued to speak.
“Yeah the devil might be workin’ over time, but so am I and I always get the job done.”
Dallas did her best impression of Tyce as she repeated the words he said to Angelique in their last conversation.
Dallas continued her taunt. “Oh I’m sorry, you actually thought he wouldn’t fuck me while your pussy was on lock down? He couldn’t wait to get in my shit. I sucked and fucked him so good he forgot all about you. I called because I came by to give him another round, but he wasn’t home. Oh and because I have some stuff for the baby.”
Angelique’s hands started to shake. Pure rage seasoned with hatred surged through her veins. She wanted so badly to reach in the phone and strangle Dallas, but instead she quietly hung up on her. She stared at the setting sun as it turned the indigo water a pretty purple color. Her mind was in a fog as she digested the nasty comments she’d just heard. She turned to face Tyce who was enjoying the breathtaking view as well.
“Was that bitch in my house?” She whispered.
Tyce sighed a little. “Yeah, she came over to talk late one night.”
“Mmmmhmm, did you fuck her?”
“What?” Tyce’s thick eyebrows furrowed up.
“I said did you fuck that bitch in my house on my kitchen floor?” Angelique continued to whisper.
“Naw, I didn’t fuck her. I don’t know what she told you, but I didn’t fuck her.”
Angelique continued to stare at her man as the sun continued to sink into the ocean.
“I don’t believe you. She said ya’ll fucked.”
“What the fuck you mean you don’t believe me?”
“When you say you didn’t fuck her…I don’t believe you. It’s jus’ that simple. I don’t fuckin’ believe you’re tellin’ me the truth. I think you’re lying. This bitch was there with you in our house listening to you talk to me on the phone! In our house Tyce! While I’m sittin’ my ass in jail, this bitch was slidin’ her ass all over the kitchen floor like a fuckin’ dust mop!”
Tyce backed up a little to air out the situation. This was not the romantic walk on the beach he planned on having this evening.
“Wow, hmmm…that’s all it takes huh? Dallas tells you we fucked and now I’m a liar and a cheater.”
Angelique threw her hands up, “That’s what it looks like Tyce! Tell me truth, did you fuck Dallas?”
Tyce turned his back to her as he walked back toward the beach house.
“I’m goin’ to get some of Sabrina’s tacos.”
“ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!” Angelique shouted after him.
“I already did.” He said walking through the sand.
I Shoulda Cheated
Dallas was on one. I should have known she would pull something like that. I had nothing to hide, so I handed Angelique the phone and let her call the woman. Now why in the hell would I do that if I had something to hide? I bet Angelique didn’t stop to think about that. You know what? She was just insecure because she was slacking on her sex game the whole pregnancy and now she was tossing that insecurity on my shoulders. I’d been nothing but understanding and ultra patient with her the entire time she was carrying Khari. Hell, I even rallied the troops and broke her accusing ass out of jail. Now if that aint love then I don’t know what is.
On top of that, after Dallas accused her of cheating on me, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and sided with her no questions asked…period. And now I couldn’t get the same in return. I see why niggas say, “I shoulda cheated.” Shit if this is what you get for turning down pussy then I might as well had fucked her.
Relationships are a trip! Women are a trip! I might be better off single, at least then I would only have my problems to deal with. Everybody says relationships are work, well what the fuck happens when you don’t feel like working no more? Women say they want honesty, but half of them can’t take the truth and the other half don’t believe you when you actually speak the truth. What the fuck is the deal?
Even though I was mad, irritated, and disappointed with Angelique. I still had her back one hundred percent. So that meant I had to get to the bottom of this whole fake drug plantation thing that put her behind bars in the first place. I might not like her right now but I still loved her and I had to know who the person behind all the drama was.
It was time to look under the bed and whoop the monsters ass!

District Attorney Seals sat down to a lonely dinner of Thai take out and a light beer. He used to share this time with his wife, but she packed up and left over four years ago. She used his long work hours as the reason she was departing, but in reality she jumped ship for a wealthy banker five years younger than her former h
usband.
Seals usually got home from the office around eight each night and each night was the same old thing. These days he enjoyed the peacefulness of his bachelor pad. Being a District Attorney was very stressful and he was beginning to get burnt out. That’s the number one reason he chose to deal with Dallas in the first place. The money he got from her would enable him to retire and live the good life for a change. As he ate his food he looked at photographs of his boat dreaming of the day when he could set sail and leave all the bull shit on dry land. He knew Angelique was innocent, but if her freedom had to be sacrificed so he could retire rich…then so be it.
The last of the basil rice was shoved into his mouth and he let out a satisfying burp pushing his empty plate away. The next order of business in his nightly routine was a short walk to a popular coffee house where he read the paper while trying to pick up local women. His height made that task difficult. Standing only 5’4 made him pretty unpopular with the ladies; that was until he revealed who he was. That trump card was a sure fire way to get laid. Once they heard the letters D.A. the panties dropped instantly. Handsome never found him, but his money mixed with his status made him fuckable to most women.
With a splash of Old Spice cologne and a swish of mouth wash he was almost ready to go. He combed his sandy red hair to the left side and grabbed two condoms from the bathroom drawer under the sink. Looking in the mirror he gave himself an approving nod, turned off the light and left the bathroom.
He grabbed a light gray jacket that didn’t match his slacks and headed out the door of his upscale apartment. As he stepped into the hallway his face immediately collided with the rock hard end of a shotgun. His body crashed into his door then slumped backward into his entrance. He was all dressed up to sleep with a woman tonight, but here he was sleeping in his own doorway as Tyce and Sway looked down at him in disgust.
“Look at this nigga. Every night he goes out to try and get some pussy at that coffee house. And the fucked up thing about it is that he actually gets some.” Tyce held the all black shotgun.
“Man, now you know some women fuck wallets.” Sway put his palms up.
“See, God knew not to make me a woman cuz I’d be juicin’ these fake ass corporate niggas. I’d put a million dollar insurance policy on my pussy if I had one.” He laughed. “Come on man, let’s drag his ass back in the house.”
Once inside they put Seals in the bathtub and looked around the house a bit. They were searching for anything that looked suspicious. Sway searched the master bedroom while Tyce focused on the living room and hallway closets. Moments later Sway came out holding a brief case.
“This shit was under the bed. Who keeps a briefcase under the bed?”
“Nobody, unless you tryna hide it.” Tyce took the case. “This shit got a lil’ weight to it.” He smiled.
“Put it on the counter and I’ll pop the locks.”
Sway pulled out a Rambo sized knife seemingly from thin air and slid it under the gold security buckles.
“Damn nigga, that’s a serious lookin’ knife. You tryna go huntin’ for a mastodon when we leave here?” Tyce playfully punched his chest.
Sway chuckled.“Naw man this knife aint shit, you should see my dad’s. That shit is more like a machete.”
“Man, yall military niggas are a trip.”
Sway jerked the knife up forcefully and popped the first lock, then repeated the process on the second one and the case was open. Both men stared at the thick layer of money that was packed inside.
Tyce grinned and stroked his light facial hair. “I never get tired of lookin’ at money.”
“Shit, me either.” Sway folded his arms across his broad chest. “How much you think is in there?”
“Ummm, ‘bout half a mil. This must be the money he got to prosecute Angelique. Aint no way a D.A. is pullin’ ends like this. This is dirty money.”
“What you wanna do with it?” Sway leaned against the counter.
“I don’t wanna do nothin’ with it. That’s up to you.” Tyce pointed at his friend.
“What you mean it’s up to me?” Sway looked confused.
“Man, I aint forgot you need a lick. Take this money and put it to good use. I know it aint a million like you mentioned, but it beats a blank…take it.”
Although Sway was ex military and as tough as beef jerky, inside he was on the verge of choking up. Tyce was the epitome of a true friend. He thought back to Omar and wondered why a man would stab someone like Tyce in the back. He must have had some ugly demons he was dealing with to do that.
“Thanks bro.”
“It’s nothing man, don’t sweat it. I’m jus’ happy you ridin’ with me on this one.”
“Angelique is like my sister man. No scratch that, she is my sister. I hate when people say like my sister, or like my brother, or like family. Why put the like in that shit?” Sway eyes narrowed.
Tyce raised his eyebrows. “That’s a good question. Speakin’ of questions, let’s go wake up the dirty D.A. and ask him a few.”
“Let’s do it.” Sway grabbed his new briefcase.
The ice cold shower sprayed Seals all over his body and his freckled face. He instantly snapped out of his slumber waving his arms wildly around.
“Wha...wha...what the hell is going on? How did I…? Who the hell are you two!?”
“I’m Action and he’s Jackson.” Tyce pointed at his partner.
“Do you have any idea who I am?” Seals tried to block the water from hitting his face with his hand.
Tyce still held the intimidating shotgun in his right hand. He slowly pointed it at the soaked District Attorney with his finger on the trigger.
“We know who you are…and we don’t give a fuck. Who paid you to set up Angelique?”
“What?” I don’t know what you’re talking about!” He looked up at them dumbfounded.
“I’ll ask you again and if you say the same stupid shit you said a second ago I’ma shoot you in the knee caps and turn this shower into a blood bath!”
Seals took a deep breath and weighed his options. He knew Action wasn’t bluffing and his friend Jackson looked pretty damn serious too.
Tyce repeated his question again slowly. “Who paid you to set up Angelique?”
Then he moved the barrel of the long gun through the shower spray and put it against the left knee cap of the D.A. waiting for the answer.
“Her name is Raine! That’s all I know…Raine!”
Angelique
The daring escape wasn’t on the news at all. Not one network reported on the story. In a way that was good news because that meant my face wasn’t blasted on everybody’s T.V, it also meant that the investigation was being held out of the public eye. I may have been out of jail, but I wasn’t out of the woods yet.
Despite me and Tyce’s relationship issues he still was working on my behalf and I admired and loved him for that. I couldn’t return home yet, so in the mean time I was a guest in Sabrina’s home. I wanted so badly to see my little girl, but Tyce said it was still too hot for that and I was inclined to agree with him. So the much needed reunion with my only child would have to wait. I just hoped it wouldn’t be for too long cuz I missed her like crazy.
Tyce insisted I lay low until he figured a few things out. Since I accused him of cheating on me he was really quiet and distant when he dealt with me. It boggled my mind why he was giving me the cold shoulder when he was the one that was unfaithful. He said he didn’t do it…but men lie.
As far as Dallas went, visions of murdering that bitch overflowed my thoughts and spilled from my brain like water from a clogged toilet. I knew now what it was like to truly hate another human being. I thought I hated Dallas before, but now that disgusting problem was multiplied by a million.
Dallas
Never count me out bitches! It didn’t matter that Angelique was out of jail. That shit definitely surprised me but I quickly recovered and found my footing. I knew that what I told her about me and Tyce sucked all the
oxygen out of her lungs like a vacuum. That’s why she hung up on me. She had no air left to speak. It didn’t matter that it was a lie. What mattered was that she didn’t know that for sure. I was positive that Tyce told her nothing happened, but what woman would truly believe that? In the back, front, middle and sides of her mind she was wondering if I was telling the truth and if he was lying.
Simple bitches would argue that lying on Tyce to his woman would only hurt my campaign to get him back on my team. But simple bitches think simple thoughts. By implanting a lie that may or may not be factual-Angelique’s true colors would emerge. Tyce would finally see her for the conniving, insecure, controlling, ungrateful bitch that she was. And if she thought just cuz she has his baby that was going to keep him with her, she was sadly and horribly incorrect.
What she didn’t know was that I was well aware of the fact Tyce was used to being alone and took pride in being upfront with people. He may be a thug, or whatever but he had a big heart. I understood that his heart no matter how tough he appeared on the outside was very fragile. For someone to question his honesty and devotion was the fastest way to lose him and best believe I would be there to locate his ass and reclaim what’s mine!
