Damn. He was sunk. Fucking dragged to the bottom of the ocean by this woman.
There was no one else for him but her. He knew there never would be anyone else but her.
“You’re so beautiful,” he murmured, as he zippered his jeans and helped her into his lap once more. When her ass snuggled against his groin, his traitorous cock jerked in response, his need for her insatiable.
She sighed and went lax as she drifted off. He let her doze. Tonight, he’d put her through the ringer. Shown her exactly what submission could be.
As she slept, he stroked her hair, shoulders, trailed his fingertips down her spine. “You’re mine now, sweetheart,” he whispered “and I’m going to show you how amazing we are together.”
* * * * *
Dana looked at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Her swollen lips and rosy glow made her look like she’d been well fucked.
And she had. By god, she had.
Bastien Berkley was truly a god. She’d never know sex could be like that. Technically, it wasn’t actual intercourse but everything they’d done blew her mind. Her body felt sore in places she didn’t know even know she had.
She finished washing her hands, picked up one of the washcloths, wet it and rubbed it over her mouth. She could still taste him— pure male, salty and citrusy on her tongue. Oral servitude was one of the things she’d wanted to explore as a submissive. She’d given oral sex before but never to that extent. Never been guided to deep throat. It had been one of the hottest experiences of her life. She’d been unsure she’d enjoy it, but having that much control over Bastien’s pleasure made her desperate to come.
Glancing at her watch, she noted the hours the time. Although only a few hours had passed since she’d set foot in Decadence, she felt like her life had irrevocably changed. Like she’d been initiated into some secret BDSM society and the amazing, spiritual experience it could be.
She flashed a wry smile at herself. “Get a grip. No need to go mushy over it.”
Throwing the washcloth into the basket under one of the sinks, she finished cleaning up. Bastien would be waiting for her in the main club. He’d already said he wanted to take her home. What a gentleman.
She opened the bathroom door and rummaged through her purse looking for some gum. She walked down the private corridor and nudged open the door into the main area with her shoulder. Dana collided with a body, her purse dropped to the floor and the contents scattered.
“Shit,” she hunkered down and starting grabbing her belongings. “I’m so sorry. Don’t know where my mind is, I should have been looking…”
She lost all thought as she stood and got a good look at the person she’d run into. Standing in front of her, smug smirk on his face, was her ex-fiancée Daniel. The fake blonde with the huge breasts she caught him screwing in their bed hanging off his arm.
Dana blinked, stunned into silence. She hadn’t seen him for months and he happened to pop up in a sex club on the best night of her life. Just her luck.
“Dana. Never thought I’d see you somewhere like this. Thought it was too…” he hesitated as though searching for the politically correct term, “extreme for your tastes.”
She tried not to roll her eyes. He’d always been a grade A asshole. “There are many things you don’t know about me.”
He quirked a brow. “I’m sure I would have known if you were into kink. The only exciting thing we ever did was a standard blow job once in a while.”
The blonde tittered and Dana didn’t know whether to slap her or sink into the ground. His comment stung. Daniel always knew how to get under her skin. The only way to resolve this awkward situation was to extricate herself from it.
“Well,” she moved to the side, hoping to go around them, “great seeing you. Have a nice life.”
Daniel grabbed her arm. “Although Marise and I are engaged now, she wouldn’t mind if we had a little fun on the side. She’s adventurous like that.”
He peered down the v of Dana’s dress, leering at her cleavage. When he moistened his lips, she shuddered. What a fucking creep.
“I wouldn’t mind tying you up and fucking you. A little kink always adds some spice. If I’d have known you were into this kind of stuff, I’ve have gagged you and fucked your ass a few times. I already know all your flaws so I won’t be disappointed when you get your clothes off.”
She wanted to throw up all over his perfectly tailored suit. He was a total douche. A complete sleezebag. How did Decadence let someone like him in? He wasn’t really into the lifestyle. She pitied the poor submissive who got stuck with him and his bimbo fiancée. He must have fooled them on his application for the open nights. One of his traits was his bullshitting charm. She made a mental note to report him to the staff.
He squeezed her arm and pain shot through her.
“Dana,” Bastien’s gruff voice caught her attention. Relief washed through her.
Dana yanked her arm from his grasp. “Thanks, but I think I’ll pass on your offer. I’d rather stick pins in my eyes. Now if you’ll excuse me, my friend is waiting for me.”
Daniel turned and looked at Bastien. “That you’re friend? My, my Dana he is a very pretty specimen. Too pretty for you. Wonder what he sees in you? He probably sees you as an easy target, someone so grateful for the attention you’ll do anything to suck his dick.”
“Fuck you, Daniel.”
She heard Daniel chuckle as she stormed off. Bastien came towards her, a dark look on his face as he looked from her to the other couple.
“Everything okay?” He put an arm around her and drew her under his shoulder in a protective gesture that made her heart soar.
Taking a deep breath, she mentally counted to five and released, before slipping her arm around his waist and giving him a reassuring squeeze. “I’m fine. Just a blast from the past.”
And that’s where Daniel would stay—locked in her past.
Chapter Eleven
It had been a few days since Bastien had given Dana a taste of being a real submissive. They’d slotted into a routine. They’d work together professionally during the day, and at night, he’d explore her body. He’d tied her in various positions, made her come with his fingers, vibrators and a special magic wand. She’d touched him countless times, sucked his cock and made him come, but they still hadn’t had sex. They’d agreed to wait. To give themselves some time to adjust and get used to each other.
She sighed as she emptied the stand of Bastien’s creations. Today was his day off and he said he had plans tonight.
Although she wondered what those plans involved, she was glad of the respite. Her libido was all over the place.
If he didn’t fuck her soon, she’d probably accost him in the kitchen and start tearing off his clothes. Yesterday, she’d even considered stripping and offering herself to him on the stainless steel counter. It wasn’t about sex, she just needed to feel him inside her. Feel that connection.
Maybe Daniel was right. Maybe she wasn’t attractive enough for Bastien. That’s why he wanted to wait. Dominance didn’t have to be about sex. It was an exchange of power, pure and simple. Maybe Bastien didn’t feel that way about her. She replayed Daniel’s words in her mind. Maybe she was an easy target. Someone who Bastien could play with until something better came along. Maybe he’d found someone else to play with tonight.
No. No damned way. Daniel had never been right when they were engaged. He was a prick who used women for his own gain and she’d been suckered in for too long. Why should she start trusting his judgement now?
Bastien was sexually attracted to her. She knew it deep in her soul. The more time they spent together, the more she hoped their relationship would develop into something more than Dominant and submissive. Although she didn’t want to admit it, she was falling for Bastien. Big time. And not just because he looked like sex on legs. He was kind, caring, funny and intelligent. She just hoped she wasn’t setting herself up for a fall.
The bell over the door chimed
and she tried to hide a frown. She’d already cashed up as the store was due to close in two minutes but she couldn’t turn paying custom away.
“Hi, we’re about to close but I can make you a take away coffee or box up some goodies for you,” she said as she finished packing away the leftovers before glancing at her new customer.
She blinked. Surprise ran through her as Ruby and Nora approached the register.
“Hi Dana,” said Ruby.
They sat down and smiled at her. She noticed they were wearing the collars she’d seen at Decadence. Something in her heart twisted at the visible reminder of their submission. She wanted to be collared. To belong to someone.
Masking her envy, she returned their smiles. “Hey ladies, pleasant surprise.”
And it was. Though she couldn’t help the tiny slither of embarrassment that churned in her stomach. The last time she’d seen them they were taking her for an erotic tryst with Bastien. “What can I do for you?”
Nora drummed her fingers on the counter top and answered, “It’s what we can do for you. We’re kidnapping you and taking you for drinks.”
“Uh-huh,” Ruby continued. “We thought we needed some time away from the menfolk.”
Dana laughed. “You’re serious?”
Ruby nodded. “Deadly.”
Apart from Stella, she didn’t have a lot of girlfriends. It would be good to spend some time with them, get to know them. Maybe she could pick their brains as submissives. Chatting online was great, but sometimes it was better to be able to discuss things in real life. Have a real person to talk to.
She glanced at her watch. “I have one minute left on the clock then I’m all yours. What did you have in mind?”
The two women grinned at each other then turned to Dana. “Cocktails!” they said in unison.
Their enthusiasm shone through and warmed her. “How can I resist cocktails?”
“Wow, this is really good,” Dana said to her new friends. This was her third cocktail—a delightful bourbon concoction mixed with marmalade and orange. The alcohol burned away her apprehension and she found herself enjoying Ruby and Nora’s company. They were amazing women. Ruby owned a bookstore. They talked of a potential collaboration in hosting author nights together. Nora, as a CIA agent, had a completely different job to anyone she’d ever known. Dana found it fascinating and a little scary.
Ruby laughed, “She’s Mrs Bond now she’s engaged to Alex.”
“Oh yeah,” Nora snorted, “well I think you have the better nickname, Mrs Iron Man.”
Dana looked from one to the other, confused. “Hold up, I’m totally lost here.” She pointed at Nora. “I get why they call you Mrs. Bond being spooks and all, but as for Iron Man, totally lost.” She’d heard Stella call Joshua Iron Man but didn’t get the reference.
Ruby filled her in. “Joshua is a defense contractor. The media labelled him Iron Man, like Tony Stark from the Avengers?”
“Ahhh, now I get it. Cool name.” Dana sipped her drink as they chatted about normal things—books they’d read, restaurants they’d been to.
As she came to the bottom of her glass, her inhibitions burned away with every swallow, she finally plucked up the courage to talk about the thing she’d been biting her tongue about.
“So, how did you both get into submission?”
When the two women stared at her, heat blistered her cheeks. Probably wasn’t the best way to approach such a delicate subject. She could have been more subtle but what the hell, if they were as nice as she thought, it wouldn’t phase them.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
Nora broke the silence. “This is going to sound corny, but I always knew I was submissive. Something was missing in every relationship I had. Not that there were many.”
Ruby clinked her glass with Nora. “Hear you, sister.”
“Then I started going to Decadence,” Nora continued. “Realized submission was definitely the thing that was missing. One night I saw Alex flogging a sub. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Worse part was I worked with him.”
Dana spit bourbon back into the tumbler. “No shit?”
“Oh yeah. Imagine how embarrassing that was, realizing your co-worker knew you were kinky. Next day we got thrown together on an assignment, and the rest is history.”
“Wow,” Dana said, “that’s almost like a romance novel.”
Nora nodded. “Tell me about it. But wait until you here Ruby’s story.”
The women turned to Ruby who smiled shyly before answering, “Guess it’s my turn. A friend was performing in a private burlesque show for rich people. I went with her and met Joshua.”
Dana waited but Ruby just sat there, a smile curling her lips.
Nora slapped Ruby on the arm gently. “You can’t stop there. Tell the woman how he wooed you.”
Ruby rolled her eyes. “Okay, okay.” She looked at Dana and love shone from her face. “He kept sending flowers to work the next day. Couldn’t move in my store without knocking over a vase. He bombarded me with floral arrangements. When I still didn’t agree to go out with him, he turned up at my apartment and…” she paused, “convinced me.”
“He spanked her into agreeing,” Nora lowered her voice and whispered conspiratorially.
Dana laughed. It appeared Nora loved to gossip.
“She’s right,” Ruby said. “We went through some things. I mean he’s rich and famous, that was hard to deal with, but we made it through. To go back to your earlier question, I’m a bit like Nora. Knew there was something missing. Had one Dom/sub relationship before Joshua but he wasn’t really a Dominant. Just an asshole. Enough sharing from me. How about you, Dana?”
Nora motioned the waitress for another round of drinks. It was Dana’s turn to fess up about her love life.
She looked down into her empty glass. She wondered what these women would think of her looking for Dom online. “I’ve always had fantasies. Always wanted to be tied up, taken and all that jazz. When my ex-fiancé cheated on me, I decided it was time for a lifestyle change. Life is too short to be unhappy. Quit my job as an accountant, bought the store, did some research online, joined some forums and placed an online ad for a Dom. Also jumped in feet first and came to the open night at Decadence.”
“Smart,” Ruby said. “Coming to the open night. Especially if it’s your first time. I mean, you can get some creepy assholes in real life but Decadence has a strict vetting process.”
Dana wondered again how Daniel had managed to get in.
Nora nodded again. “Oh yeah. Totally agree. One hundred per cent safe.” She wiggled her eyebrows. “And then you met Bastien.”
Dana recalled the first time she laid eyes on Basiten. He’d taken her breath away. “Yep. I’ve never done anything like that, but I just wanted one night, yah know? Nothing heavy. Just a taste.”
Nora smirked. “Totally get it. And Bastien is pretty. He’s a big guy.”
Her nipples hardened as Dana remembered the way his white t-shirt clung to his perfectly sculpted torso. Her pussy slicked as she imagined boosting herself up and grinding her mound onto his groin, sliding her cheek against the bristles of his well-groomed beard.
“He’s a very big guy,” she laughed along with the other women. “I was totally nervous that first night. He looked like some kind of Viking god. I had to resist the urge to throw myself at his feet. Pathetic, huh?”
Ruby patted her hand. “Hell, no. We all felt the same. There is just something about those men. Something…” she stopped, searched for the right word.
Nora supplied it. “Primal.”
They all agreed. She’d only met Alex and Joshua briefly but they exuded the same confidence, and dominance, that Bastien did. An aura of command that resonated deep in her belly.
“So how are things going with you and Bastien?” Nora asked. “Yes, I’m a nosey bitch.”
Dana sighed. Did she admit her fears about why they hadn’t had sex? Fuck it, it might be good to share with girlfrie
nds who understood her predicament. “It’s amazing. He’s making my first submissive experience very special.” And then some. Even though the bruises on her ass had faded, she still felt the sting.
“But…” she hesitated.
“But what?” Ruby asked.
“We haven’t had sex.” She huffed out a breath. “Bastien wants to wait. Make sure we are comfortable together, yadha, yadha, yadha. And I understand that, especially as we work together. I don’t know, just makes me wonder. Especially after what Daniel said.”
Both women frowned and Nora chimed, “Daniel?”
“My ex fiancé. I saw him the other night at Decadence. Don’t know why he was there. He’d never shown signs of enjoying kink before.” It still puzzled her.
The drinks arrived and Ruby pushed another cocktail—this one florescent green and pink—towards her. “What did he say that put doubts in your mind?”
The weird concoction tasted amazing. Rum, tequila and passionfruit. She waited a beat before answering. “That I wasn’t enough for a man like Bastien. That he’d stray because I was a frigid bitch in the sack. How could I ever be enough for someone as good looking as Bastien.” Even though she knew Daniel was a lying asshole, his words still hit home.
Nora’s eyes narrowed. “Can you give me his full name? I know people who can make his credit history disappear in a second.”
The acidity of her drink burned away some of the bitterness from her tongue and Dana managed a weak smile. “Thanks for the offer.”
“You can’t be taking him seriously?” Ruby said. “Bastien isn’t like that. He’s different. They all are. They have some weird code. Once they’ve set their sights on you, you belong to them. I know it sounds medieval, but it’s kind of hot too.”
“Damn straight,” Nora agreed. “You can’t let the past cloud your present.” She groaned. “Jesus, did I just sound like Yoda?”
“One hundred per cent.” Dana tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “You’re right though. It’s just…I’m falling for him. Big time. It’s scary and amazing all at the same time.”
