  I shake the feeling off as we enter the elevator which we ride to the seventh floor. When the doors open we are at the top of a long hallway with four doors.

  "His office is the first door. He should be in there." Kate smiles. "If you need me I'm on the floor below.”

  I thank her before stepping out of the elevator.

  I pull the handle of my case and instantly regret not booking a hotel room, leaving my baggage and freshening up beforehand.

  I look up at the plaque on Matt’s door confirming it is where I want to be, where I need to be. I take in a deep breath of air before lightly knocking on the door.

  "Come in." His voice is hoarse.

  I open the door and enter; the door is hinged so closes once I am inside.

  His office is large and decorated modernly with greys, whites and blacks; it has a very masculine feel about it. In the centre of the room there is a large, black granite topped desk with two large black leather swivel chairs either side.

  He is standing with his back to me looking out of the large window which takes up the majority of the far wall; He isn't wearing a suit jacket, just a crisp white shirt. I can tell from his posture that something isn’t right that he seems tense and annoyed.

  “Yes?” He barks without turning to see who has entered so I clear my throat and he spins round.

  "Casey?" He squints like he doesn't believe what he is seeing and I nod. “What the fuck?”

  He makes his way towards me and I rush over to him. We meet in the middle of his office and his arms wrap around me and I reach up to kiss him softly on the lips.

  "I can't believe you actually came. Thank you."

  "I couldn't stay away any longer." I reveal.

  His mouth was on mine before I can draw another breath. His lips move ravenously against me.

  There's a knock at the door.

  "Shit." He says. "I'm sorry you're going to have to witness this babe, but I will explain everything later. I promise." He kisses me on the forehead and ushers round to sit on his desk chair before opening the door.

  Chapter Eighteen

  Matt

  I'm ecstatic that Casey is here and she looks so beautiful.

  I'm just pissed that when I get reunited with her it has to get ruined.

  I open the door and Jess is standing with one hand on her hip while the other pushes the buggy straight past me not saying a word. When she notices Casey sitting in my chair she snorts. I close the door and stand watching Jess.

  "What are you doing here Jess?" I ask, my voice composed.

  "Who the fuck is she Matt?" She spits.

  "She is none of your concern. Answer my question Jess."

  Jess ignores me and instead walks towards Casey, leaving the buggy behind. She stops when she reaches my desk and puts her hands down to put her face at level with Casey, trying to intimidate her.

  "Who. The. Fuck. Are. You?" She growls at her.

  Casey glances at me and back to Jess her eyes narrowing. "My name is Casey and I don't like being sworn at." Her voice is calm and collected. Casey is so sexy when she is in business mode.

  Jess laughs in her face. "Don't think you're something special, honey. After he gets you into bed he won't want anything else to do with you."

  Casey rolls her eyes. "Oh that's funny, he's had me in bed over and over, yet he keeps coming back for more. I just don’t think you were good enough, honey." Arrogance in her voice. "Oh, and so you know - I'm here to stay." Her eyes are back on mine and I wink at her. Her lips curl up into a small smile before she turns to look back at Jess.

  Jess pushes back off the desk and she turns to face me her face red with anger. "When are you going to realize that you belong with me Matt, with me and your son, I'm not going to chase you forever."

  I shake my head. "He’s not my son."

  "Yes he is!" She screams.

  "Prove it. Take the DNA test." I say through gritted teeth. "Until then fuck off and don't come back."

  I reach for the handle, open the door and stalk her out.

  Once out the door she turns around to glare at me and her eyes move toward Casey. Before she can even think to give her the same look I shut the door on her face.

  ~~~~~
  Casey
  I want to go over to him and tell him everything is going to be okay, that we are here, together.
  He barely resembles the man I know, the man who can make grown men cry.
  His eyes are sorrowful as he paces the length of his office running his hand through his hair, my own following him every step of the way.
  He stops and turns to look at me “The baby is not mine Casey. I swear.”
  I rise on my feet and slowly walk to him. I can’t think of the right words to say so I communicate with him the only way I think of.
  So I kiss him.
  I tell him everything with my mouth. Every single emotion I have felt over the past ten or so days and he talks back to me.
  The kiss starts to get aggressive and my hands start to roam his body. I run my fingers through his hair, down the back of his neck, over his now relaxed shoulders.
  “I have missed you so much, Matt.” I say.
  He brings his hand to my chin then tilts me up when I haven’t even realized I looked down.
  “You need to trust me that the child is not mine Casey. I don’t want that bitch ruining things for us.”
  I make my mouth open but my voice fails me, Matt looks to the ceiling. He keeps his eyes fixed upwards, suddenly unfocused.
  “I do trust you.” I manage, “I’m just tired from the long flight.”
  His eyes return to me, relief showing.
  And I am done talking, I’m done thinking and I am ready to make up for lost time.
  I press my lips to his and even though I feel a smile forming beneath my lips, he kisses me back. His tongue runs along my lower lip before slipping back inside to find mine.
  He holds my face lightly, not how he holds my lower back when we have kissed previously. This kiss is sincere.
  We continue to kiss, tongues entangled and never parting. My hands find the way up the back of his shirt and I feel his bare skin for the first time since London. He breathes in deeply, not breaking our kiss.
  He hasn’t moved his hand from my face and his free hand is at the side of his body and I know this is him showing me I am in charge and taking control.
  I slowly move my hand round from his back to his torso and move down, with my spare hand I start to undo his belt buckle.
  “Casey....” He starts to say against my mouth. His voice breathy and full of want.
  “I need this Matt.” I stop him before he says anything else and continue our kiss and I know he needs this too.
  I open his belt and slide his trousers down. His passion, want and need for me all showing as his hard dick presses through his shorts.
  I rub him through his shorts and I hear him groan, it sends vibrations through my body.
  I drop to my knees and within seconds I have his shorts down. I spend time kissing his thighs, getting closer and closer to his balls each time.
  He lets out a loud moan when I slide one of his balls into my mouth; I suck slowly and switch to the other. I tenderly lick his balls whilst warming them up with my hot mouth. My hands begin to start to rub his cock.
  “Oh, Casey!” He growls. He doesn’t seem capable of saying anything else and I love the feeling of turning him on so much he can only manage to say my name.
  I run my tongue along the length of his shaft, paying extra attention to the head, gently nibbling. I find a sensitive spot and run my tongue over it repeatedly until it flinches against me.
  When I realize he needs more direct stimulation, I finally put my lips around the whole head of his cock and start to gently suck it, my hands fondling his balls. I slowly lower my mouth and almost get the entire length of him in my mouth.
  I slowly bob my head up and down and glance up to him.
  He is watching me intentl
y, passion burning in his eyes.
  I start to get more firm with my sucking, swirling my tongue wildly around his cock.
  His groans start getting louder and his breathing more desperate.
  He reaches his arms down and places them on my waist and pulls me up.
  “Fuck Casey, I want you so bad.”
  “Then take me.” My voice is barely a whisper.
  Our lips are back together, taking everything we can from each other.
  He places a hand on the small of my back and wraps a strong arm around my shoulders and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around him and let him carry me. He pushes my back against the wall and I keep my legs wrapped around him. I run my hands through his hair and kiss him harder than I have ever have before.
  He pulls my dress up and I hold it up to free his hand. He pushes my panties to the side and places his head at my entrance.
  With one swift movement he’s inside me. He reaches his arms up and rests them on the wall behind me and starts to fuck me hard and fast. I lean my head into his neck and start to kiss softly, pressing in deeper to hide my moans.
  “You are so tight Casey. I’ve missed your pussy so much. You are all I have been able to think about.” He whispers.
  And with his words I feel close to collapse.
  Sensing my orgasm is near, he grips my ass and pounds into me faster and harder and I cry out.
  “You’re so sexy when you are turned on for me, Casey. I want you to come with me.”
  It’s those words that tip me over the edge I feel as though I have no bones in my body as my orgasm takes over me.
  I hear him groan and feel him fill me full of his hot liquid.
  “My God, Casey, I don’t know if I can live without you for much longer.” He says softly, still holding me in place his cock still inside of me.
  “Good, because I feel the same way.” I say against his neck.
  Chapter Nineteen
  Casey
  Matt and I have spent the last thirty minutes catching up. I inform him of my trip to visit my parents with Hannah and the blossoming romance between her and my brother.
  He looks down at his office phone which has now started ringing again; he ignored the last two calls and sighs, lifts the receiver to his ear and looks straight at me.
  I watch as he speaks with authority into the receiver, he looks so powerful sitting at his desk, in business mode. The man who could make grown men cry, a mighty, dominant, commanding and surpassing human. The same man who treated me like royalty the whole time we were in London.
  I wonder if Matt has always been like this, confident and mighty. I try to imagine how he would have been in school. I would put my money’s worth on him being the player. The guy that all the girls wanted. The guy that got all the girls he wanted. The guy who played every sport possible.
  The guy like Darren.
  No no no. Matthew Jackson is nothing like Darren. Or is he? Do I even know the real Matt?
  “Tell her I will need to reschedule.” He barks. “No, I’m too busy at the moment… I know, tell her something has come up. No, not at all.” He lets out a huge sigh to show his frustration.
  I bite the inside of my cheek as I wonder who he could be talking about, who is ‘she’?
  “Just tell her I will call her soon.” He says before slamming the receiver down.
  He sits in silence for a few moments and I don’t want to probe but I can’t help but wonder about the woman downstairs in reception, Natalie referred to me as a ‘fan girl’ and told me to go and join the queue – with the blonde beauty. I wonder if Matt knows who she is and why she was here – if she is still here. I wonder about Jess and the baby.
  I look at the man in front of me and start to panic that I may be rushing in to things.
  ~~~~~

  Hannah

  “I don’t know who it is; I just want them to stop!” I shout at the officer at the other end of the line.

  “I’m afraid we can’t do anything just yet as the emails aren’t addressed directly to you. If Miss Phoenix feels she wants to contact us if she feels threatened then she can. Until then we simply cannot act on this.” Her voice is callous.

  I don’t say anything else to her; I just end the call before throwing my phone across the office.

  I have been working in Casey’s office today. I didn’t want anybody to see or hear any of the conversations I’ve had about this crazy stalker situation. Her office is on the top floor and has solid walls so it is ideal for the privacy I need.

  Since the first email I have received over twenty emails, all progressively getting worse.

  I struggled to sleep last night, worrying. So today I am tired and cranky but I am grateful that she is away from all of this hate which is vented towards her.

  I try to call Andrew to ask for advice on what to do next. There’s no answer, he must be busy at work but I know he will get back to me as soon as he can. I glance at my watch it’s 4pm – what time will it be in California?

  I try to call her – but there is no answer.

  Next I try Matthew – his number will be in my favorite contacts before long, again there is no answer. What is the point of people having mobile phones if they aren’t going to answer them? I want to scream.

  I call Michelle and ask her to come up to Casey’s office and she is here within five minutes.

  “Hi Hannah, what’s up?” She asks.

  “We’ve got some different work to do, I want to try and catch a stalker.”

  Michelle’s eyes widen and she looks at me as if I’ve gone crazy. “What are you talking about?”

  I take a deep breath and explain about the emails, how they are progressively getting worse and are now turning into death threats and Michelle’s eyes widen with horror.

  “Shouldn’t we leave this to the police? I mean, the person seems quite...dangerous.”

  “I’ve tried that route; the police won’t do anything as the emails aren’t addressed to me. They need Casey to contact them for them to investigate.” I answer. “I’ve tried contacting her and Matthew but they aren’t answering their phones.”

  “She’s with Matthew? As in Matthew Jackson?” Her eyes eager to know, oh shit it was meant to be a secret, my big mouth.

  “Yes- but do not repeat that to anyone Michelle. If Casey finds out she will be really upset and that could lead to possible job losses.” I threaten. I sound like a bitch but I need to, Case would kill me if she and Matt become the office gossip.

  She nods her head. She understands.

  “Good.” I say. “Now we need to see if the IT department can find an IP address. Can you ask Luke to come up here right away?”

  “No problem.” She answers quietly. “Hannah, when–if we do catch this ‘stalker’ what are we going to do?”

  “Stop them. I don’t know how but we will.”

  Michelle gulps and turns to walk out. My phone starts to ring. Matthew’s name on the caller ID

  “Thanks for calling back. Is Casey around?” I realize I am barking down the phone.

  “No, she’s at my place. She was asleep when I left her.” His voice is tense. I wonder if I annoyed him when I shouted down the phone to him.

  “Good. I need to speak to you about her.” My voice is softer than last time but I am still firm. He remains quiet and waits for me to speak. “I have been monitoring her emails whilst she has been away and she has been getting a number of emails daily full of hate. They have progressively gotten worse. I’m trying to sort it at this end. I just wanted to inform you.”

  “Who are they from?” He demands.

  “We don’t know. The email address is made up of random letters. I’m going to get our IT department to trace the IP address. Please do not tell her. I don’t want to ruin her time away.” I request.

  He exhales loudly. “I won’t. Please keep me updated. If you need any help-“I try to speak but he continues to talk. “If you need any help, call me right away and stay safe. Do not do anyth
ing stupid.” His tone is authoritative as he gives me my orders.

  “I won’t.”

  And at that, he ends the call.

  Another email pops up.

  I know where she is and I’m going after her.

  I hit reply.

  Over my dead fucking body.

  It doesn’t take long for them to reply

  That can be arranged.

  Chapter Twenty

  Casey

  Morning comes round far too quickly for me. We spent the night making up for lost time.

  Every inch of me aches, but every ache makes me feel more beautiful and loved than I did before.

  As always, Matt tended to my every want and need. His attention entirely focused on me, working muscles I didn’t even know I had.

  I stretch my arms above my head and yawn before sitting up in the enormous bed. I swear, it is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Which is nice, but at the same time I am quite disappointed I spent a fortune on my bed and mattress at home, and it doesn’t compare to this.

  Matt strolls in carrying a plate of poached eggs, toast and bacon in one hand and a glass of orange juice in the other.

  “Good morning, sweetheart. I was just coming to wake you.” He sets the tray down on my lap and the juice on the bedside table before sitting next to me.

  “This is lovely, Matt, thank you.” I give him a sleepy smile.

  “You’re welcome, beautiful. Hey, James thinks you are flying in today to come discuss business plans. We are lucky he was busy in meetings yesterday because he would kill me if he knew I am sleeping with a business partner.” He laughs and wiggles his eye brows at me before continuing. “I told him I had a dental appointment this morning so I was going to be late in the office. I told him you should be in around lunch time or so.”

  I nod and listen carefully whilst tucking into breakfast.

  “When we’re in the meeting with him and his wife Grace we mustn’t give anything about us away, so we have to act normal.” He explains.

  “I didn’t pack any business attire though, I can’t turn up in shorts and a vest can I.”
