I can’t write a book like this and not thank the very reasons it’s being written at all. So this story, it goes out to my four kids, three of who are on the Autism Spectrum and constantly open my eyes daily to the wonder that they are. Caleb, Noah, Raine and Isabella, this one’s for you as always. I love you all to the moon and back.
Pamela, you were the first person to see Eric and I mean that in every form imaginable, both fictional and in reality. You are not only a beta-reader or an author to me, you are now a close personal friend and I am thankful for you and your guidance, kind words and expertise each and every day.
Lisa. My sister on the other side of the world. I appreciate and love you more than words can ever express. Thank you for believing in me even when I don’t believe in myself. I will cherish you and all that you are forever.
Joey. The guy that hates when I thank him in these things because he actually shows emotion (My real life Dillon Murphy). I am thankful for you each and every day. My life and my writing has been enriched just by knowing you and we’re the beginning that will never have an end. Thank you for being who you are. I love your face man <3.
Theresa, Ryan and Jennifer. Right there, every single time to pick up these books that I produce and doing it with such excitement that it’s almost overwhelming how much it makes me feel. Thank you for not only your expertise, taking a chance on an unknown author but for being three people I am honored to call friends.
Every single solitary parent in the world that is tasked with raising children with special needs. Thank you for the things you do day in and day out for these beautiful little people, shaping them, molding them into the people that will one day change the world. You have my utmost respect, admiration and love. It is through knowing a lot of you, speaking with you, sharing stories, both good and bad that these stories come to life even though they’re based in fictional settings. You inspire me daily with your strength. Never give up, never give in and continue doing all that you do for these wonderful human beings. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
To anyone who takes the chance with my stories. They aren’t easy stories and they probably aren’t absolute perfection, but just in picking them up, supporting me and this dream of mine, it means more than words can ever express. Love the stories or hate them, in taking the time that you do to purchase them, read them and even speak about them, you deserve so much more than an acknowledgement can give. You are the reason I can continue doing this and that truly is EVERYTHING. I appreciate each and every one of you.
About The Author
Melyssa Winchester is a mother of four from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. When she’s not knee deep in adolescent awesomeness, she’s falling in love, one book boyfriend and girlfriend at a time. She is a lover of all things romance and will forever believe in a real and true happily ever after.
When she’s not off being a mom or writing you can find her doing one of two things. Reading or buried under the covers watching Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy or Veronica Mars.
Melyssa is currently working on All My Heart (Kayden and Isabelle’s continuing story from Count On Me). In addition, she is also working on the standalone title Untangle Me. There also might be another heavenly adventure in the works, as only one of the fallen can bring.
You can find her on the web, either at her personal site, Facebook (which she just might have an obsession with) or Twitter (@WinchesterBooks) where she talks incessantly about her kids, her writing and all things book boyfriend related.
