He slid into her body with a happy groan, and then brought his fingers to her clit. Theodora widened her legs with a contented sigh. “Is there nothing you will not do to torment me?”
“Pleasurable torment, my dear wife. Feeling you come around me is so perfect, it’s a sin.”
She laughed. “I’m feeling very sinful tonight.”
He thrust hard into her and withdrew. “As am I, my love. Let me show you how much.”
He took her hips into his hands and took her hard, fast and deep. His pleasure built too quickly, though, so he stopped moving to tease her clitoris again. “Have you ever done it in a carriage?”
“Never,” she replied, hanging her head as her breaths turned to soft little groans.
“Would you like to go out with me one night? I’m sure we can find some excuse to take a moonlit carriage ride together after the paperwork is done for the day. The sensations caused by the carriage bouncing us against each other will be exquisitely unexpected.”
Theodora jerked and whimpered suddenly, tightening around him as she came.
He grinned. Theodora may not say much in bed, but his whispered suggestions for further pleasures never failed to arouse her. He had shared quite a number of his fantasies tonight, and he was beginning to suspect that, given the right circumstances and privacy, he might just do all of them with her. The only question was finding the time.
When Theodora relaxed a little more, Quinn let himself have all the friction he wanted. He took her hips firmly, and made love to her, only pulling out at the very last moment. He did not want her burdened by a babe just yet, and his seed shot out along Theodora’s slender back in great long streams.
He mumbled out his apologies and hastily cleaned the evidence away.
Theodora collapsed, sprawled out with a huge smile on her face. “After that marathon, don’t ever apologize again.”
Quinn folded to the mattress, keeping close to her side. “I was apologizing for the mess.”
“I didn’t mind.” Her smile was so sincere, he relaxed. She found his hand and kissed it. “It was nice to discover you’re not always in control of yourself.”
“Hardly ever around you.” He brought her hand to his mouth and kissed her knuckles reverently. He grinned. He enjoyed touching her and being touched, and now they never had to stop. He smoothed her sweat-damp hair from her face and pressed a kiss to her temple. “Ready to go again, love?”
Theodora’s eyes fluttered closed, and she inched closer, seeking more kisses from him. “I’ll need a minute to recover.”
He smiled against her skin and whispered, “I’ll give you forever. Starting now.”

About Heather Boyd
Determined to escape the Aussie sun on a scorching camping holiday, Heather picked up a pen and notebook from a corner store and started writing her very first novel—Chills. Eight years later, she is the author of over thirty romances and publisher of several anthologies too. Addicted to all things tech (never again will Heather write a novel longhand) and fascinated by English society of the early 1800’s, Heather spends her days getting her characters in and out of trouble and into bed together (if they make it that far). She lives on the edge of beautiful Lake Macquarie, Australia with her trio of mischievous rogues (husband and two sons) along with one rescued cat whose only interest in her career is that it provides him with food on demand.
