Crossing Quinn Page 16

by Gail Koger

He kissed me tenderly. “I love you.”

I brushed my lips over his. “What is that Earth saying? Oh yeah, you complete me. In other words, you’re stuck with me until the end of time.”

“I can live with that.” Quinn gave me another smooch.

“Good. It’s my turn to rock your world.” I grabbed the bottle of chocolate off the table.

  “Where did you get that?”

“From Detja, and she gave me directions too.” With one squeeze, I covered his chest and stomach with chocolate.

Goosebumps broke out on Quinn’s body. “It’s kinda cold.”

“Don’t be such a wuss.” I slowly licked my way down his body.

A shudder shook Quinn and his hips bucked.

  “Feeling warmer?”

“Hell, yeah. I’m on fire.” Quinn’s voice was a husky rasp.

“This is a little something Detja suggested.” I thrust my tongue into his slit and dragged it out. In and out. In and out.

The tight bud of tentacles inside his slit rubbed against me. Acting on instinct, I drew it into my mouth and sucked it. The tentacles began to vibrate faster and faster. One tiny nibble and bam!

“Holy fuck!” Quinn roared, his torso shaking in release.

Orgasm achieved. Detja knew her stuff. “Did I get it right?”

“You about killed me, woman, but what a way to go.”

I cuddled against Quinn and petted his chest. “Did you get a chance to talk to Zarek about becoming a relic hunter?”

“I did, and after the Shebu fiasco, the Overlord decided the Coletti Empire needs a relic hunter. He even gave us our own ship.”

  “That’s terrific!”

“There is a downside,” Quinn warned.

My stomach sank. “What’s the downside?”

“Your parents will be sharing our ship.”

“Oh. Well. Drekk. Papa will expect our help with Mami.”

“True, but we have a year before they join us. Your parents still have a lot of research to do on the Nabatean civilization.”

“Yes, they do.” I gestured at the tapestries. “Which position should we try next?”

Quinn nibbled his way down my stomach. “Decisions. Decisions.”

A sense of wonder and contentment spread through me. The Goddess had granted me the perfect mate, and the universe was ours to explore. It couldn’t get any better than that.
