by Jaime Rush
Zoe put her hand to her heart, an overwhelming feeling of joy washing over her. She leaned forward and hugged Amy. “Thank you!”
She turned and touched the place over Rand’s heart, where his new tattoo was hidden beneath his shirt. She knew that whatever happened, she was surrounded by family and by love. Along with her telekinesis and, oh, a few guns, that was all she needed.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I
’m always humbled and grateful for those who take time to help me get it right. My sincerest thanks to the following: On tattoos:
Fellow author Julia Madeleine for answering my many questions about tattoo artists and helping me to not call them tats—God forbid!
David and the others at Blue Devil Tattoo in Ybor City, Florida, for letting me hang out and ask questions. You guys were great!
The guys at Cherry Hill Tattoo Company in Naples, Florida, for answering some of my technical questions.
John Case, for answering weapons questions…and being a good friend, too (you, too, Nanine!). And thanks for the ride on the Harley Road King!
Ride, cool graffiti artist, who helped me get a handle on a fascinating world. I’ll never look at graffiti the same again.
Antonio “Tony” Sanchez, MSM, CLET, Captain, Biscayne Park Police Department, for answering all of my silly and not-so-silly questions.
My husband, Dave, who helped me brainstorm this series, and for all the wonderful things you do.
