The Midnight Club Page 122

by Love, Michelle

“You’re not boring me. And you should let me make you dinner sometime,” she adds as I take her out of the small break room.

That sounds a little like a date to me, but I think I should be cordial about it anyway. “Sure, I’ll let you know when I’m not busy and we can do that sometime.”

  “Okay. Thanks for the drink.”

I stop by the bar with her in tow and yell at the nearest bartender, “Hey, Tony, see this girl here?” I pull Rainy up and put my arm around her as he gives me a nod. “You take care of her tonight and put everything she wants on my tab.”

“Bastien, you don’t have to do that,” she whines at me. But her smile tells me she’s happy I’m doing it.

“I know I don’t have to,” I kiss the top of her head. “I want to. You have fun and drink all you want, since you’re going home in a cab. I’ll be around here if you need me. And don’t leave without telling me goodbye.”

Suddenly, she’s wrapped her arms around my neck and is kissing my cheek. “Thanks. You’re so sweet. I’ll make sure to tell you goodbye.”

With a laugh, I hug her back. Then we let each other go, and she heads off to find her friends while I stand there, watching her go.

“Who was that?” a female voice asks me. I turn to find Annette watching Rainy disappear into the crowd.

“An old friend from my hometown.”

Annette’s blue eyes focus on me. “You and she went into the break room for quite some time, Sebastien. Should I assume you took advantage of the poor young thing?”

“Imagine what you want,” I tell her as I turn away. “It’s none of your business anyway.”

She grabs my hand and moves her body close to mine. “Dance with me.”

“I’ve got work to do, Annette. Sorry, maybe another time.” I peel her off me and walk away, feeling her icy glare on me as I go.

Heading to the back, I need to see if things are going okay in the mafia part of the club. As I push open the door, I find a little problem is happening between one of the bouncers and an irate waitress.

“Something needs to be done about him!” the topless woman shouts as she clings to the side of her broken G-string. “He’s an animal!”

Taking her by her free hand, the bouncer tries to lead her away as he says, “Look, Tasty, The Shark’s not the type of guy a girl can tease. Just chalk this incident up as a learning experience and stay the hell out of his reach.”

“I can’t believe you won’t do anything about him, Johnny!” she shouts.

Stepping in, I take the woman away from my fellow bouncer, and pull her along with me. “Let’s find you a new G-string to put on, and I’ll talk to The Shark about not ripping off your clothes anymore. But you need to follow the advice Johnny gave you and stay out of the man’s reach. He is an animal, hence the nickname.”

Just as we get into the dressing room where the girls change out of their street clothes, Tasty breaks down and starts crying. I don’t know what to do, but pull her into my arms and hug her. I guess that asshole really went nuts on her and scared her pretty good. “Look, you get dressed. I’m sending you home for the night.”

“I need the tips!” she wails.

I let her go to take some cash out of my wallet and give her a couple hundred. What she’d have most likely made if one of the men hadn’t messed up her night. “Here. Now go home and rest. Come back tomorrow a hell of a lot smarter.”

“If I was smart, I wouldn’t be here in the first place,” she says, then sniffles as she grips the cash in her fist.

“You and me both, baby,” I say, then pat her on the back. “Change, and I’ll wait right outside the door then walk you to your car to make sure no one bothers you again.”

I step out the door and find Ralph The Shark lurking around. “You seen Tasty?” he asks me.

With a frown, I ask, “Why, you wanna apologize?”

“Ha! Me? No.” He thumbs his nose as he squares his shoulders. “She thought she could dance around me, put her tits in my face, and then walk away. She and I have some unfinished business to attend to.”

“You ripped the girl’s G-string, Shark. Did you expect her to fall down on the floor and spread her legs for you in front of everybody? This ain’t that kinda club, bro.”

“Well, she shouldn’t have been so damn sexy!” He laughs, and I clap him on the back.

“Do yourself a favor and go back out there, grab a cold drink, and play some cards. Get your mind off the ladies for a minute. You’ll be okay.” I push him gently but firmly to go back into the main area where his friends are, and he allows it. No fight out of him tonight and that’s a good thing.

With Ralph safely back to drinking and gambling, I go back to find Tasty ready to go. I offer her my arm and escort her out the back door without anyone seeing us. “Thanks, ladies’ man.”

I open the door to her little red Accord. “Not a problem. See you tomorrow.”

With a nod, she gets into the car and looks up at me. “You’re not as bad as you seem.”

“I didn’t know I seemed bad,” I say as I shake my head.

“I didn’t mean to say anything to hurt your feelings. It’s just that you have this rep as a bad boy, but you have a good heart. Thanks again. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Walking back into the club, I think about what she said. I’m a bad boy with a good heart. And Rainy thinks I’m brooding and moody. And all this time I thought of myself as a rebellious man with a bit of a self-destructive streak.

Is it possible to be all those things at once?

The night’s going smoothly for the amount of people in the club. Only a couple of fights and three men who had to be tossed out, but a slow night compared to others. I stand at the front door, making sure everyone is getting out as it’s closing time.

Three bubbly girls come up, and I see a blonde head hanging behind them. A tall guy has his arm wrapped around her, and I laugh at first. Then I stop laughing as I see who it is that’s passed out.

  “Rainy?”

“Oh, you must be the guy she said was from her hometown,” one of the chicks says. “She wanted to get her drink on, and she sure did!”

“Here,” I say as I take her out of the guy’s arms. “I got her.”

“You sure?” he asks me. “I was going to make sure she got home.”

“Were you?” I ask him then look him over. “Well, I got her now. Thanks.”

The girls look at one another then shrug. “Okay,” one of them says. “Tell her to call Tilly when she wakes up in the morning so I know I don’t have to call her in as a missing person.” She eyes me as she points her finger at me. “And put the blame on you as her killer, Bastien Breden. She told us your name, so behave yourself with our friend. She’s a good girl.”

“Got ya,” I say as I pick Rainy up and take her out the back way to my car. “What did you do to yourself, kiddo?”

Putting her into my car, I have to lay the seat back as far as it’ll go and buckle the seat belt around her limp body. Her full breasts have shifted a bit, and I see she’s not wearing a bra under the halter dress.

With a sigh, I close the door and walk around to get into the driver’s side. “Be good, Bastien,” I tell myself.

When I get seated, I look over and notice her short dress has ridden up and I can see the strap of some little red panties wrapping around her hip. Biting my lower lip, I pull the dress down to cover it and try hard not to think bad thoughts about the poor passed out woman.

The drive home is the hardest I’ve ever had. I can smell her lavender scent and see her curls bounce around her sleeping face, making me hornier than I’ve been in a very long time.

Parking the car, I get out and take her out of it, carrying her to my apartment. As I get inside, I look at the sofa and then take her to my bedroom. I’m not about to toss her on the sofa; that’d be rude.

Pulling the blanket back, I lie her down and slip off her heels. She immediately wiggles down into the soft bed and
grabs the pillow. I watch her as she inhales and moans a little, then snuggles it and starts making little snoring sounds.

For the longest time, I just stand and look down at her. With each passing moment, my cock grows, and I find myself needing to get my jeans off before I bust the zipper. Grabbing a pair of pajama bottoms out of the drawer, I go into the living room, closing the bedroom door behind me and trying like hell to stop picturing Rainy in my bed.

Rainy Matthews is in my bed, and I’m about to sleep on the damn sofa!

Pulling off my clothes, I toss them over a chair then pull on my pajama bottoms and have a difficult time as my hard-on is getting in the way.

Lying down on the sofa, I prop my head up on one of the pillows that adorn the trendy microfabric sofa I purchased last month. Draped over the back of it, there’s a throw made out of chenille the saleslady threw in to sweeten the deal. I try to picture the saleslady, who I thought was hot, as I take my cock in my hand and begin to stroke it.

I can’t even remotely recall what she looked like, as the only face I can conjure is Rainy’s. The way her soft curls frame her face that’s slightly round and adorable yet sexy now makes me moan, and I think about what it’d be like to kiss those plump pink lips of hers.

Her body is round in all the right places, and I picture her perfectly scrumptious breasts as I play with them and she watches me, sucking on her lower lip as I make the nipples pebble with my expert touch. She’s lying on my bed splayed out as I touch every part of her. “Please,” she begs me as I run my hand over her well-manicured, blonde bush that’s trimmed into the shape of a heart.

Not one to leave a woman needing more, I imagine I’m kissing my way to her sweet spot as she begins to pant with excitement. As my lips touch her swollen pearl, I move my body so she can have access to my cock that’s aching to feel her mouth around it. Up and down my hand goes as I think about her mouth moving over it, instead of my hand.

In my mind, I’m kissing and licking her sweet and tasty sex as she pleasures me with her mouth too. Over and over she sucks me in as I kiss and nibble her. Again and again we take each other until she’s squealing with her release and I shoot my load down her long and elegant throat.

My hand’s covered in cum, and I’m breathing hard as I open my eyes, leaving the fantasy behind me. Taking the chenille throw, I use it to clean up the mess I’ve made. And I wonder how I’m going to keep myself from making a mess out of the sweet girl who’s stumbled back into my life.

  Rainy

The sound of a shower running wakes me up.

I’m not in my bed …

My heart starts pounding as I look around and realize that I have no clue where I am or how I got here. The furniture is just a bunch of shadows and nothing is familiar to me.

It’s dark in the room, but a narrow line of sunlight comes in through the edge of a black curtain. “Where am I?” I wonder out loud.

Reaching out to see if there’s another body in the bed, I find there’s not one and am thankful for that. Moving around to sit up, I find my dress and panties are gone. Looking over the side of the bed, I find them tossed on the floor.

I have no idea where I am or who the hell I went home with!

This isn’t me! I don’t do things like this! Not ever!

Easing out of bed, I tiptoe across the carpet to where the sound of the shower is coming from. Opening the door, I see a large figure in the stand-up shower. “Shit,” I hiss as I close the door. “What’ve I done?”

And who have I done it with?

Finding a wallet on the dresser, I open it to see if there’s a driver’s license in it and breathe out a sigh of relief when I see Bastien’s handsome face in the picture. Then my body tenses as I realize that I slept with a man I was told to stay the hell away from by his own family.

Going back to the bed as I have nowhere else to go, I try desperately to recall the night’s activities. I lusted after my friend’s brother from the time puberty hit me. And she told me that he was a person I should never mess with. He’d love me and leave me, the same way he did every other female he’d ever had anything to do with.

As I climb back under the blanket, I can smell him on the pillow. His musky scent with a side of citrus leaves my head light. I can remember talking to him, then finding my friends. There was drinking and dancing and then it all goes blank.

But I must’ve gone home with him. And we did the unthinkable, and I don’t even get to remember it.

  This sucks!

Closing my eyes, trying to relax so I can try to remember the events of last night, I fall into a state of tranquility as I think about how he must’ve touched me and kissed me. I can feel his dark silky hair as I run my fingers through the top of it where it’s longer than the sides are. Taste the whiskey on his breath as he kisses me the way I’ve always wanted him to.

I touch myself as I pretend it’s his hand moving over my body, playing with my clit as he sucks on my tit. “Oh,” I moan out loud, then stop as I hear the shower turn off.

Jumping back out of bed, I pull on my panties and the dress I wore last night. I’m not sure how to act. I don’t know if he’s happy about what we did or not. He sure as hell isn’t in bed with me. That’s not a great sign.

I bet I was sloppy drunk and he thinks I’m a nasty, classless, whore. But he likes those kinds of women, doesn’t he?

He said he was out of my league last night. I bet he still thinks that and is going to come at me like he’s sorry and it should’ve never happened. And I don’t even remember it happening at all!

I can’t breathe as the door opens and steam comes out, flowing into the bedroom in spiral wisps. The pungent soap he used flows like a summer breeze into my nostrils. I can’t take my eyes off him as he rubs his head with a towel then runs it over his neatly kept goatee. Then his emerald eyes land on me.

  “Hey, you.”

“Hey, yourself,” I say as I sit on the bed.

The towel he has wrapped around his waist is keeping me from seeing what he’s working with and what I apparently had a taste of last night.

I wish I could recall even a split second of it!

He goes into the walk-in closet and turns the light on. I watch the towel as he tosses it out and it lands on the floor. Then he’s back with a pair of blue jeans on and nothing else, letting me get a look at some extremely defined abs and pecs that make my mouth water. But he’s kind of dressed, so I guess there’ll be no more boom-boom this morning.

  God, I must’ve been awful!

“So, do you wanna get something to eat before I take you home? Or do you need to puke? How do you feel, Rainy?” he asks me.

“Fine,” I say as I lean back on my hands and look at him then address the elephant in the room. “How do you feel about what we did, and why do you think I’d need to puke?”

“You were plastered, is why I thought you might need to throw up. And what do you mean, what we did?” He smiles and sits next to me, pushing my hair out of my face that I now realize had make-up on last night and I must look like a raccoon now.

Wait. Did he say I was plastered?

  “I was drunk?”

“Passed out drunk,” he tells me, then runs his hand over my cheek. “Wanna take a shower? I have some shorts with a drawstring you could wear and one of my T-shirts.”

  Shit, I must look awful!

“Um, yeah, I’ll take a shower. About me being passed out, though, what happened?” I feel like a fucking idiot for having to ask such a question. I don’t ever drink that much.

“I was watching the door when your friends came to it, to leave. Some guy had you, and you were completely out. So, I took you. You need to call your friend, Tilly, by the way. She said she’d turn me in for murder or some shit if she didn’t hear from you.”

“God! Some guy was going to take me home with him? Some stranger? Thank God for you, Bastien!” I throw my arms around his neck and squeeze.

I was so damn lucky he was there.
<
br />   His strong arms wrap around me as he shushes me, “Shh, it’s okay. Nothing bad happened to you. I brought you home and put you to bed and slept on the sofa.”

“How sweet you are,” I tell him, then let him go. “I’ll shower real quick, call Tilly, then a cab, and get the hell out of your hair. Or I can just call a cab and go. I’m sorry, Bastien. I really am.”

Placing his hand on my shoulder, he shakes his head. “You will not be calling a cab. I’ll take you home. You shower; I’ll make us some breakfast; then we’ll eat. After that, I’ll take you home. No arguing.” Getting up, he takes my hand and leads me to the bathroom that smells like him. “I’ll put the clothes on the bed, and you can get dressed when you’re done.”

With a nod, I go into the bathroom and try not to look in the mirror at the wreck I must be. Embarrassment consumes me. I don’t know how I got myself in this awkward position.

  Damn alcohol!

  Sebastien

Stirring the scrambled eggs, I keep picturing how adorable Rainy looked as she sat on the edge of my bed with pink-stained cheeks, reeking of embarrassment and last night’s booze. The urge to pull her into my arms and kiss her was nearly overwhelming, and I have to get a hold of myself.

I keep chanting to myself, ‘she’s off limits.’ But it doesn’t seem to be working, as the image of her in my shower keeps creeping into my brain. Rainy Matthews is in my shower, using my soap, running the bar of Irish Spring all over her curvy body.

I’m not going to be able to shower without masturbating until that damn bar of soap is gone!

The bedroom door opens and in she pads with bare feet, wearing my clothes that are three sizes too big for her. Her hair’s hanging in damp spiral curls all around her freshly washed face. Not a bit of makeup on, and she looks cute as hell.

  Damn it!

“Feel better?” I ask, trying to ignore the hard on that’s beginning to form in my jeans. I use the counter to conceal the fact that she’s having a major impact on me.
