A Change of Pace Page 6

He shook his head and a weak smile bent his lips. “You know, I bet you're right.”

  “About what?”

  “Being a good boyfriend.”

Knox's eyes lit up and he pushed forward, placing his hands on the counter, caging Aiden in his arms. Tension still hummed in the room, but it changed from anger to desire.

“Too bad you’re not looking for anything more than a couple of nights of sex.”

  “You’re not looking either, right?”

“Right.” Knox gave a single shoulder shrug. “But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun tonight, right? After everyone leaves, Jesse's in bed. Because damn, babe, you’re a sweet, hot fuck and—” He bent down and pressed his lips against Aiden’s ear. “And I would love another chance to fill that tight little ass of yours.”

The words cluttered his brain and clouded the logic that usually controlled his responses. He reacted. His hands reached out, grabbing Knox’s hips and pulling him forward. He felt the eyes roll to the back of his head as Knox pressed a hot kiss on his neck. Nice big cock, wicked sense of humor and fiercely loyal—fuck, what more could a guy want?

  “To-tonight…”

“Definitely tonight.” Knox rocked his hips forward, sliding his hard cock along Aiden’s, letting him feel every inch.

Every inch that would soon be inside him.

It was all he could do not to whimper. He opened his mouth, but he was pretty sure parts of his brain had closed down and all he could do was stutter “I—I…”

“Careful, babe.” Knox’s hips pumped forward. “No coming until the game is over.”

That time he did whimper and decided he really hated football.

  * * * * *

Morning sun lit up the living room as Aiden slipped downstairs. Noises flowed from the kitchen—music and voices. Knox, Jesse and a female, probably Tammy. The overwhelming scent of food became almost a taste on his tongue. His stomach growled, but he held back, wasn’t quite ready to join them. Wasn’t quite ready to face Knox. Or Jesse. He had no idea what Knox had said to his son last night, but Jesse had given Aiden a hug before he'd headed up to bed.

Whatever was said, it hadn't stopped Knox from insisting on near silence through the night.

While Knox slept, Aiden had slipped out of his room and crawled into his own bed. No way he would risk another morning of being thrown out of the bed. His ass still felt bruised.

A smile curled his lips. It probably wasn’t the fall that made his ass ache. It was the big man who’d fucked him silly.

But Aiden had gotten some revenge last night. He’d had Knox splayed out flat, spread eagle, not moving. Aiden had spent almost an hour licking and tasting that beautiful body. He would have gone on, but Knox hadn’t been able to hold out. He’d grabbed Aiden, flipped him over and fucked him into the mattress.

He shook his head. He didn’t know how Jesse hadn’t heard them. Aiden had tried, really tried to keep quiet, but damn, when Knox let go… Aiden had been lucky to remember his own name, let alone trying not to scream.

He took a deep breath and put one hand forward, ready to push through the door. It swung out, almost smacking him in the face. He jumped back, an apology on his lips, but Knox was there, walking him backward, turning him around and putting his back against the wall. Aiden got a vague impression of how his lover was dressed—dark blue sheriff's uniform. He couldn’t see much beyond that because Knox was too close, not letting him move.

“You left.” Knox accused, his low voice sending a shiver down Aiden’s spine and making his cock twitch.

“Didn’t want Jesse to find us.”

“Hmm.” Knox rubbed his lips across Aiden’s cheek and slipped one leg between Aiden’s thighs, pressing against his growing hard-on. “That means I don't get a chance to fuck you before you leave.”

He shook his head. “Too sore.” The man was thick and he'd ridden Aiden hard last night.

“But I could have blown you. Haven't had you in my mouth yet and—”

The kitchen door opened. Knox straightened and put a little space between him and Aiden. Aiden draped his hands in what he hoped was a casual manner over his groin so he didn't show more to his student than he wanted to.

Jesse pulled to a sharp stop. “Oh, professor. Hi.” He looked at his father. “Uh, I got to get to school. I'm giving Tammy a ride.”

  “Have a good day.”

“I'll see you in three weeks,” Aiden jumped in, remembering his real purpose for being there. “And send me that report on Dickens by Friday.”

Jesse sighed, but nodded. He grabbed his bag and headed to the kitchen. The back door closed with a clunk seconds later.

“I'd better get going too.” Aiden tugged on his shirt—washed out in his sink and hung over the shower rod. “Any idea where Mickey is on my car?”

“It's done. Tammy brought it out. She's Mickey's niece.”

“Oh.” His car was ready. No reason to stick around. “I guess I'll head out then.”

“Yeah, I've got to get to the office.”

They walked to the door, strain humming between them.

Knox stopped at the door. “So, I'll see you in three weeks. When you come back for Jesse.”

  “Sure.”

Knox licked his lips and tipped his head to the side, looking almost hesitant. Knox had never been hesitant.

“You know…Jesse goes and stays with his mom one weekend a month. But that'll be next weekend. I'll just be here, by myself.”

Aiden heard the underlying invitation. “I have another student about an hour away. I might be going to see him next week.”

  There. No commitment. No promises.

“Well, we'll see then, huh? Maybe our schedules will match up.”

  “Yeah. Maybe.”

Knox bent down and planted a fast, hard kiss on Aiden’s mouth.

“Take is slow. You wouldn’t want to get pulled over by the local cops.”

  Epilogue

Aiden stared at the flashing red and blue lights in his rearview mirror and decided this day had just gotten a whole hell of a lot better.

Two months after that weekend with Knox and his fantasies of being fucked by a big tough cop over the hood of his car had only gotten stronger. The flashing lights made him shiver. He'd been tempted more than once to start speeding on the country roads just to get stopped, but in truth, he only wanted one cop to fuck him.

He reached for the door handle. No way was he going to be sitting when the sheriff strolled beside his car. It gave him too many ideas. He opened the door and stood up, turning and meeting Knox head on.

He leaned against the cherry red paint. He’d traded in the sedan about a month ago, deciding slow and steady wasn’t quite his style. He wanted fast and hard.

And just a little bit dangerous.

“About time, professor. Jesse was wondering if something happened to you.”

Aiden lifted his chin. “Got a late start.” He looked into Knox's smiling eyes. His hair had grown long in the past two months. Aiden loved it, liked to feel it between his fingers, particularly when Knox was on his knees, sucking Aiden off.

“Jesse wants to get his test done so he can get on the road.”

  “Where’s he going?”

“Going to spend the weekend with his mom.”

The twinkle in Knox’s eyes sent a happy little leap through Aiden’s cock. Knox leaned in, turning Aiden and pressing him against the side of the car, bending him just a little back. Like the first time they'd kissed, Knox approached slowly, starting with just a brush of lips on lips, then delving deeper until he completely took over Aiden's mouth and dominated his senses.

Aiden grabbed Knox’s hip. The cotton-polyester blend of his uniform scratched Aiden’s palm. The tiny reminder sent up warning flares.

“Wait. Why are you still on duty?” He’d specifically planned his trip so Knox would be done working.

  ”Just got home.”

Knox leaned down, his hip pres
sing against Aiden’s, his lips against Aiden’s ear.

“Figured we be getting naked as soon as Jesse left.” He whispered a kiss down Aiden’s neck.

Aiden felt his knees weaken. A strong thigh pressed against his groin and he grabbed Knox’s shoulder, holding himself up.

“Dad, come on.” The screen door closed with a squeak and a snap.

They looked up but didn't jerk out of their embrace. Aiden had been around enough that Jesse no longer got wide-eyed when he saw them touching.

“If you two start, I'll never get out of here.”

Aiden nudged Knox a little, pushing him back enough so he could reach into the back seat and get his briefcase. “Let me go do what I'm getting paid to do.”

  “You’re no fun,” Knox warned.

“Really.” Aiden winked. “Keep your uniform on we’ll find out.” He started to walk away then stopped, looking over his shoulder with a hungry stare. “Did I ever tell about my fantasy of being fucked over the hood of a police car?”

  Knox groaned. “No.”

Aiden smiled up at his lover but didn’t stop as he walked toward the house. He wasn’t worried. They had all weekend and he wasn’t in any rush.
