She beamed up at him. “Okay.”
As a wedding gift, Mr. Fulton had given them the honeymoon suite on board the Velocity. They would remain in Dubai for two weeks and would return to the States on the Velocity when the airship came back through, making its rounds.
Halfway over to where their parents stood, Jonas stopped and pulled her into his arms and kissed her. She ignored the catcalls and whistles as she sank closer into her husband’s embrace. When he finally released her, she smiled up at him. “And what was that for?”
He grinned. “I thought it was time for me to make another public claim. You’re mine and I want the whole world to know it.”
Nikki was filled with intense happiness. Her head and her heart were no longer at battle. Now they were on the same page, reading from the same script and the writing said Jonas loves Nikki. Nikki loves Jonas. And they will live happily ever after.
