Teach Me (The Gems & Gents Series) Page 24

by Bolling, Iris

Standing, he began to undress as he reveled at the aftermath of her release. Nothing looked as wonderful as the expression of total satisfaction on her face. That’s how he wanted to see her every morning and every night. After joining her on the bed, he pulled her into his arms. His release could wait. There was something more important that he needed from her. “Diamond,” he whispered, as her body draped his and her head rested on his shoulder. “Will you be my wife, the mother of my children, my partner for life?”

Her fingers that were stroking his nipple stopped. Her breathing ceased. Then slowly her head rose from his shoulder as she looked down at him. “Yes.” She replied, then kissed his lips as her body eased over his. The tip of his manhood flicked at her center. She held his eyes as she eased down onto him, taking a little of him in, then raising back up, taking a little more, then up, and a little more as she gradually took him completely inside of her. She sat up with her hands on his chest, allowing him to go deeper. With him secured deeply in her warmth, she slowly began to move as she held his gaze. “I will be your wife, have your children and protect your heart.” She closed her eyes, held on to his arm and began slow circular motions with her body. She could feel him throbbing inside of her. His thickness increased with each swerve of her hips. He grew every time she lifted her hips and eased back down. Throwing her head back, his legs braced her back. She arched her lower body forward squeezing all of him with her inner muscles, tighter and tighter until he just couldn’t take anymore. He swung her onto her back and pumped furiously into her, until they both reached that pinnacle of release. Love juices flowed down her legs, the scent of their love making permeated the air around them and they both grasped for the other. Neither wanting to break the connection of their love, he rolled her back into their original position and held her until they both drifted off to sleep. An hour or two later, they awakened and replayed their love making again.

The next morning Zack showered and was in the kitchen preparing breakfast, when Diamond emerged. Standing behind the breakfast bar, he smiled as she walked into the living room. “You are stunning in the morning.”

She smiled. A shirtless Zack, with jeans hugging his waist and a huge bulge waiting to break free was a sight to behold. “The afterglow of love making.” She walked behind the bar and kissed him. “You’re making waffles,” she lovingly looked up at him. “I love waffles.”

“I know,” he kissed the tip of her nose. “Strawberries and whipped cream to dress them.” He pulled her into his embrace. Her back to his chest, his bulge nestled perfectly against her behind. One hand covered hers around the wooden spoon, while the other eased under the opening at the top of her robe and began playing a symphony with her nipple. “Do you know the secret to good waffles?”

Unable to really speak due to the sensations he was evoking with his hands, she shook her head. “Well, allow me to demonstrate.” He began moving his hips with the motion of the spoon. “You begin with slow, sturdy motions, then as the mixture thickens, you begin to move a little harder to create the desired consistency or thickness as some may say.” He unzipped his jeans and they fell to the floor. The thin robe was no barrier to the heat his body was generating. But fair was fair. She wanted to generate a little heat herself. Why should he have all the fun? She dropped the spoon into the batter. Diamond dug two fingers into the cool whip, wrapped her hands firmly around his hardness, then fell to her knees, taking him into her mouth before he could protest. She had no idea what she was doing, but she just let instinct take over. It was like sucking on a Bomb Pop, except he was hot, smooth and moaning. Holding onto his thighs she felt when he stepped back, just allowing the tip of him into her mouth. She continued to revel in the feel of him, the taste of him as she sucked and licked until he fell to his knees. He quickly turned her around and entered her from behind. The power of his entrance caused both of them to sigh, then he began moving within her, like a man possessed. If he hadn’t been holding on to her waist she would have gone flying across the floor with each thrust. But he held on to her as if his life depended on every stroke and it did for both of them. At one point she realized her knees were no longer on the floor. Only her hands, her legs were wrapped behind his back, but she didn’t care the only thing that mattered at the moment were the sensations that were shattering within her body. They fell to the floor just as the front door opened.

A curse filled the air as someone tripped over something. “Damnit Diamond, why would you leave your bag in front of the damn door?” Pearl yelled through the apartment as Phire and Opal followed her in.

It took both of them a moment to respond. Diamond quickly pulled her robe together as Zack reached for his pants. Peeking over the bar, Diamond, brushed her hair out of her face and found her sisters, Pearl, Opal and Phire frowning at her. She smiled, “Hey. You’re home.”

“Yes, I’m home.” Pearl threw her travel bag on the sofa. “Why is your bag in front of the door?”

“I want to know why you are on the floor.” Opal asked still frowning at her sister.

“Hey Mr. Zack,” Phire smiled. “Why you don’t have no clothes on?”

Zack made it to his knees as he attempted to zip his jeans. “Good morning.”

Pearl was shocked to see Zack. She looked from one to the other, but before she could say anything Phire spoke what she was thinking. “Aww, ya’ll doing the nasty on the floor,” she giggled.

“In the kitchen, around the food,” Opal exclaimed with a disgusted look on her face.

  “Do you have on clothes?”

“Of course,” Diamond said as Zack replied, “Some.”

Phire took a step towards the kitchen, put Opal pulled her back. “Go to the bedroom Phire,” she demanded.

“I don’t think so, I want to see this!”

Pearl getting the jest of the situation, crossed her arms across her chest and smirked. “I’m tempted to stand here.”

“Okay,” Zack replied as he began to stand.

Pearl, Opal and Phire stood, mouths dropped, “Whoa, nice bod Mr. Zack!” Phire nodded appreciatively.

“Damn,” Opal smirked, then looked at Diamond. “Well alright Diamond.”

Pearl turned her head, looking at her two sisters, “You two out!” she pointed to the bedroom. She then turned to Zack, “I’ll get your clothes. Where are they?”

Diamond playfully hit Zack’s shoulder. “He has on jeans, Pearl. You’re fine.”

Pearl slowly turned back around. “Why are you two in the kitchen like this? You do have a bedroom Diamond.”

“We got hungry,” Diamond shrugged her shoulder.

“We made waffles,” Zack replied as he kissed Diamond’s cheek. “Want some?”

“The waffles or you?” Opal questioned.

“The waffles you can have. The man is mine,” Diamond stood in front of Zack, for none of her sisters had taken a step to move and were still gawking at his chest. Placing her hands on her hips, she frowned, “Stop looking at him like that!”

“If his waffles are as good as he looks, I’ll take some of him with whipped cream on top.” Phire responded with a smile. All of her sisters turned the glare on her. “What?” she smirked at Opal and Pearl, “I just said what everyone was thinking.”

  Chapter 28

Chief Hasting closed the door to the file cabinet, then sat back down in his seat. He scanned through the pictures in the file trying to determine if arson was involved or was this just another mishap. The paper on the edge of his desk moved as if a breeze had blown through. Turning behind him, he checked the office window. It was closed. He turned back to the report. A minute or two later, he had the strangest sensation that someone was in the office with him. Without turning back around, he just shook his head. “I will never understand why you don’t use the front door.”

  “I’m incognito.”

He looked back over his shoulder and sure enough Joshua was sitting in the chair by the window he’d just checked. As much as all of them hated to
admit it, Joshua was good at what he did. “I see you.”

“That’s because I want you to.”

A frown creased his forehead. Usually when Joshua showed up something was going on that would cause issues for whomever he was visiting. Richard put his picture down and turned his attention to Joshua. “What’s up?”

“Do you still have the paper file on the Franklin Sub-division investigation?”

  “I do.”

“I need to take a look at it.”

Knowing Joshua had access to any information ever put on a computer, he was sure he could look at the report at any time. “Why didn’t you just pull the report?” Richard stood as he pulled the file from the cabinet. “You have access.”

“I need you to look at it with me.” Joshua joined him at the desk.

It never ceased to amaze Richard how every time Joshua showed up he was impeccably dressed. “How do you do the type of clandestine work you do dressed to the nines all the time?”

Joshua adjusted the lapel to his suit jacket. “Hey, James Bond was always hooked up when he worked. You should expect no less from me.”

“James Bond is a fictional character,” Richard smirked as he sat back at his desk.

“Not anymore baby, I’m the new James Bond only sexier.” Joshua gave him a devilish grin, which exposed those deep dimples that seemed to run in their family.

Richard just shook his head and turned his attention to the file. “What are we looking for clown?”

“I don’t understand why no one takes me seriously. But when you want someone found or dead, you always call me.”

“Because we know you are crazy enough to do whatever we ask.” He shrugged his shoulders. “We all respect your skills. If I was in the field working, I would want you and your brother to have my back.”

Joshua became a little emotional, “That sounded like a compliment. I’m touched.”

“You are touched. What am I looking at here?” he pointed to the file.

“You, Zack and Sammy were pretty close in high school. All of you hung out with the same people.”

“Yes we did,” Richard nodded in agreement.

“Then tell me, do you recognize that person?” Joshua pointed to a person standing in the background of pictures from the Franklin investigation.

Richard held the picture up, taking a closer look. Shaking his head, “I don’t think so.”

“Take a real close look. You, Sammy and Zack know this person.”

Richard pulled another photo taken from a different angle. “Hmm, I still don’t recognize that person, but I always wondered about this person.” He pointed to another figure in the background. “But I could never identify him.”

Joshua pulled out a small computer device and scanned the picture. He sent a message, then placed the device back in his suit jacket. “We’ll know his history in a minute. His profile fits the person I’ve been following.”

  “What person?” Richard asked.

“Zack asked me to find his mother. In the process of finding her, I detected someone following her. You know me, I start following him. He led me to the construction site. I know why Ann is there. She always hangs out wherever Zack is working. What I didn’t know was why the person was following her. I think it’s connected to Zack in some way.”

“Is Zack still a suspect in the Franklin Investigation?”

“He was cleared, but I’ve caught a lot of heat from the brass because of it. Some feel the evidence was sufficient to move forward with at least an indictment.”

“So if something was to happen on this site Zack will be your person of interest?”

  “Definitely.”

Joshua’s computer beeped. He pulled it out and read the message. The look on his face spoke volumes. “I have to go. We need to find Celeste Blanchard, now!”

Xavier had just left The Towers to check on the model. He wanted to let his friend know that Diamond would probably be returning soon. There was something about the woman that was familiar, but for the life of him he could not put his finger on what. She wasn’t a family friend or anyone he had spent a lot of time around, but some of her actions and the “shit happens” attitude she took on certain things reminded him of someone. He just hadn’t made the connection yet. At the sound of his cell phone, he pushed a button on his console. “Speak to me,” he answered.

“Xavier, its Julia. I just received a call from the bank. Charles called to set up a wire transfer to an off shore account in the Cayman Islands for Monday.”

“Hold on Julia, let me get Zack in on this call.”

Xavier dialed Zack’s number then pushed the conference button. The telephone rang three times before he picked up. “This better be good X-man.”

“I have Julia on the other line. Julia, tell us what’s happening.”

“As you may or may not know, the Cayman’s is a sanctuary for anyone trying to embezzle funds that cannot be recovered. Our laws do not extend to them. If he is able to make that transfer, the company will lose ten point five million dollars. I don’t have to tell you that will put every project we have on the plate in jeopardy.”

“Have steps been but in place to ensure that does not happen?” Xavier asked as he heard kissing sounds in the background.

“Nate and his team have all the areas covered. A device has been placed in Charles’ computer to make it appear the transfer went through. The bank investigators will be knocking on Charles’ door the second after the send button is pushed. This will only appear to be happening on his computer. Nothing will be transmitted to the banks there.”

“Did you hear that Zack?” There was no reply. “Zack?”

“Yes. Look X-man, I trust Julia implicitly. If she tells me this situation is under control, then I’m not concerned. Is it under control Julia?”

  “Yes it is.”

“That’s all I need to know. Is there anything else?”

  “No,” Julia replied. “Hello Diamond.”

“Hi Julia,” she laughed. “Hey Xavier.”

“You two need to get a room,” Xavier smiled.

“We’re in a room.” Zack replied, “Yours.” He laughed then disconnected the call.

“How did you know Diamond was there with him?” Xavier asked.

“The edge to his voice is gone. Only a woman can do that to a man.”

“You women sure do give yourself a lot of credit.”

“It’s a proven fact Xavier. You’ll find out one day.”

“Julia, are we about to lose millions?”

“No, I won’t allow that to happen. The president of the bank knows I have subpoenas in place the moment something goes wrong. If anyone loses millions, it certainly will not be Davenport Industries. However, Nate did come up with a very interesting photo of Charles with someone you may know.”

  “Who?” Xavier asked.

  “Celeste Blanchard.”

  L

Pulling into the parking space at the model home, Xavier’s mind was still reeling from the bombshell Julia had just dropped. What in the hell was Charles doing in a picture with Celeste. He didn’t even think they knew each other. Shrugging it off, he entered the house and walked straight back into the kitchen. His friend was sitting at the breakfast bar witting for him with a hot cup of coffee. “How’s it going little man?” she asked while handing him the coffee.

He hesitated for a moment, shook off whatever hit him wrong, then took the cup. “Good news. Diamond’s back.” he smiled.

“Hot damn, Zack came to his senses,” she smiled brightly.

“Seems like it,” Xavier sipped his coffee. “Unfortunately, that means she will probably be returning here. I’m sure it will not be for a few more days. She and Zack are making up for lost time.”

She waved him off, “This wasn’t a permanent gig anyway. I’m just happy Zack got his girl. So they got the makeup sex thing going on, huh?”

“I’ll say,” Xavier laughed. “So what are you going
to do?”

“Me, same thing I’ve always done, land on my feet. Don’t worry about me son, I’ll be just fine.”

He flinched again at the term son. But he shrugged it off. “Hey I noticed the front porch light is blinking. You may want to get that checked.”

“I’ll get right on it. Have you had breakfast?”

“Not yet. I’ll grab something on my way to the office.”

“Now, I ain’t never been a good cook, but I can microwave along with the best. Diamond keeps a few things here. How about a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit?”

Xavier smiled, “I can go for that.” He looked at his watch. “I could do a few things on the computer from here.”

“You go on over there and start working. I’ll bring this to you.”

Taking his coffee with him, he sat it on the table then reached for the password to the computer. In the process he knocked over the jar of marbles. “Oh hell,” he said, then proceeded to pick them up. They were rolling everywhere.

As he picked them up he began to laugh. When he was a little boy, Zack would get so mad at him for touching his marbles. A memory hit him so strong his laugh froze. “Now, little man you know Zackary is going to be upset when he gets home. You know how he is about his marbles. Let’s hurry up and get them back in the jar.”

“Let’s get these back in the jar,” Ann was saying as Xavier mouthed the last words with her.

He looked over to where she was bending down to collect the marbles that were rolling away. The silhouette of the woman watching the house from across the street came to mind. Standing, he looked at the marbles in his hand. Closing his hand around them, he looked at the woman walking towards him and he was three years old all over again. “Drop them in,” she said.
