  “I’m sorry I don’t know your name but I’m sure that our paths will cross again.” He tipped his hat as Garnett reached around snapping her neck.

  They brought in all the saddlebags removing numerous telegrams and money. Garnett struck the match on the fireplace and lit his cigar as Dominic emptied the oil lamp across the floor. They mounted and headed down the trail to the road stopping only to watch the fire engulf the small cabin. Garnett released their horses as they headed east.
