Riled Up (With A Kiss #2)
Page 22
Once the door was open, there was absolutely nothing stopping us.
His mouth found mine again as he growled down my throat, and I used every muscle I could isolate to grind my core against his cock, still very hard and still very much inside his pants.
I heard the door slam closed and then my back was against the nearest wall, Camden pinning me with his hips.
There were no words exchanged, no loving or tender caresses.
We were both riding a wild high created by lust and I just needed him. My husband. Inside me.
I unfastened his belt and then the closure on his pants, all the while kissing him senseless. I managed to push his pants down far enough to free his cock, and within seconds my thong was pulled aside and Camden pushed into me.
“Fuck, yes,” he grunted as he seated himself fully inside of me, pushing in far enough that I felt him bottom out against me.
I gasped and clutched him tighter, holding him to me, just wanting to feel full of him for a moment.
There’d been no foreplay once we’d reached the room. We’d had hours of it beforehand. Just marrying him was foreplay enough. The image of his smiling face as he said his vows was the biggest turn-on. It was with that picture in my mind that I pressed my lips to his. He kissed me back hungrily, and after a few moments he finally pulled out and pushed back in, both of us groaning with the movement.
“More,” I rasped between kisses. “Please.”
I didn’t have to ask him twice. His hands moved to my ass, holding me up as he pistoned his hips at a punishing speed. It was blissful.
“Fuck,” he growled again. Just his voice pushed me closer to the edge I’d been dancing around since we left the arcade. “Touch yourself, Riley. I want to feel you come around me.”
My hand snaked between us, slipped under my lacy thong, and I found my clit and circled it, matching his pace.
“Get there, babe,” he ordered, and I knew he wasn’t going to last much longer. It was so hot, the idea of how keyed up we both were, that just a few strokes would set us both off. We were like fireworks, dynamite, our fuses so short.
“Yes,” I moaned as he picked up speed.
“I want my wife to come.”
And that was it. That was all I needed. Camden Rogers called me his wife as he thrust his cock so damn deep inside me I could barely see straight. I convulsed around him, shuddering, crying out, and holding on to him for dear, dear life.
“That’s it,” he grunted, then picked up even more speed until he finally stilled and shuddered himself.
Our breaths both panted out heavily, my forehead resting against his shoulder, his hands still holding me under my ass. It wasn’t sweet, and it wasn’t candles and rose petals, but it was fucking fantastic.
“Hey,” he said quietly after a moment, causing me to lift my head and look at him. “I love you.”
That was all the romance I really needed. Just him, loving me.
“I love you too.”
He kissed me then, slowly, and I could feel his love for me down to my bones.
He pulled away and gave me a smirk.
“I still want to see what you’ve got on under this dress.”
“Okay,” I whispered, finding myself strangely close to tears.
“You all right?”
I nodded. “I’m just really happy.”
He smiled. “Me too, babe.” He kissed me once more, short and sweet. “Let’s take this dress off and let me get a good look at you. Then we’ll get in that huge tub and clean up.”
“Okay,” I replied.
“Then I’ll get you dirty again,” he said with that sexy fucking smirk.
“Sounds perfect.”
Chapter Twenty-Four
Riley
One would think a 3:00 p.m. flight would be late enough in the day to not feel crappy when boarding. But one would be wrong about that if they had a Vegas wedding hangover.
Granted, I wasn’t the worst of the bunch.
Hadley looked like she wanted to die.
Honestly, everyone except the parental units agreed that one night in Vegas was not the best plan they ever made.
Camden checked us into our flight as I chatted with Rachel and Hadley. Well, Rachel and I chatted while Hadley stood there looking as though she was about to vomit everywhere. My brother had caught an earlier flight, but by the blush on Rachel’s cheeks when I mentioned him, I assumed she gave him a thorough goodbye. She was pretty tight-lipped about it, but I knew with time I could get some details out of her.
We’d made it through security and approached a gate with the flashing sign above the door saying ‘Portland.’ I saw it and let out a sigh. Portland was home, but I didn’t really want our little trip to end. So much had happened in just twenty-four hours and I hadn’t grasped it all yet. I wanted more time to adjust, to take everything in.
“Okay,” Camden said as everyone took their seat to wait for boarding. “Say goodbye to everyone, Riley.”
“Goodbye? Why? Where are they going?”
“It’s not where they’re going, it’s where you’re going.”
“Where am I going?”
Camden smiled as he produced our boarding passes, handing me the one that had my name on it. I looked at him with a furrowed brow, still confused. But then I looked closer at the boarding pass and realized it didn’t say Portland.
“Camden…,” I said slowly.
“Yes, wife?”
“Why does my boarding pass say Maui on it?” My heartbeat raced and my hands started shaking.
“I couldn’t plan a surprise wedding without also planning a surprise honeymoon, now could I?”
All our friends and family started laughing and clapping, and I stood there like an idiot with my mouth hanging open.
“Are you serious?”
“Babe, I’m good, but I can’t get the FAA to print me fake boarding passes to pull one over on you. We’re going to Maui.”
My hands flew up to cover my mouth and Camden took a step closer, running his hands down my arms.
“Are you surprised?” he asked softly.
All I could do was nod in response.
“You told me once that you had never been to Hawaii. I couldn’t really make an international trip happen on such short notice, so I hope Hawaii is okay.”
“Are you serious? Are you even real?” My words were choked with tears and laughter as I let him pull me into a hug.
“Say goodbye, babe. Our plane boards soon.”
“Wait,” I said, pulling away, panicked. “I have to work tomorrow.”
“You’ve got two weeks off, courtesy of Rose,” Jasper said from behind me, where he was standing with Rachel.
“Your room will have fresh flowers, fruit, and champagne waiting, also courtesy of Rose,” Rachel added.
“What? Rose knew about this?”
“Jasper and Rachel helped me get you the time off. I’m surprised you really thought our entire wedding celebration would be only twenty-four hours.” He tsked at me.
“I can’t believe you,” I whispered to him, shaking my head in disbelief.
His arms came around me again, holding me close, and his mouth found the shell of my ear.
“Like I said, I’m going to spend forever finding ways to surprise you. Don’t ever get used to it. I like watching you light up too much.”
I leaned back so I could see his face. “I don’t have anything packed for Hawaii.”
His smirk appeared again. “Babe, all you need is a bikini, and we can buy one there.”
I smiled in response.
“You ready for a lifetime of adventures?” he said quietly enough so that I was the only one who could hear him.
“Yeah,” I whispered.
A lifetime with Camden seemed like the best idea I ever had.

First, I really have to thank Hot Tree Editing and Pink Ink Designs for working on an unexpected quick turnaround. Both of these professional companies did everything they could to help me with a very tight deadline and I couldn’t appreciate it more. Not only did they fit me in at the last minute, they did phenomenal work. Thanks also to Edeline Wrigh for proofreading with a very narrow window.
As always, thanks for my teamsters for giving me great advice when asked upon and also for just listening to me vent most of the time. It might not seem really important, but having a safe place to bounce ideas of readers and to let out frustration, happiness, and sadness, is something I don’t take for granted. You all know what I went through the first half of this year and it was that special group of readers that really kept me pushing forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks to my husband for always being supportive and understanding when I have to chain myself to my computer and for listening when I tell you exciting things about my job, even when you don’t know what I’m talking about.
Thanks to all the early readers who helped find those pesky last-minute errors. I appreciate the help!
