For The Night Is Dark

Mark West’s short fiction first began appearing in the small press in 1999 and was collected in Strange Tales from Rainfall Books. Following publication of his novel In The Rain With The Dead he fell into a writers block that lasted until Gary McMahon demanded a novelette from him—that was The Mill and kick-started his writing. He’s published over seventy short stories, two novels, a novelette and his Spectral Press chapbook sold out four months prior to publication. Mark lives in Rothwell, Northants (which serves as the basis for his fictional town of Gaffney) with his wife Alison and their young son Matthew. Website—www.markwest.org.uk. Twitter—@MarkEWest.
