Twisted Steel: An MC Romance Anthology Page 53

“Wait a minute,” Maven called out before I could get to the broken-down door frame. “Where are you going?”

“You calling the cops on me? Am I going to jail now?” I looked at Ripper’s face, then Clean’s, and finished on Maven’s.

“No, I’m not. I won’t say anything. If you can get your colleagues here to keep their mouths shut, then the cops don’t need to know anything.”

I looked toward the three women who had become my closest friends.

  “Never,” Remy said.

“I’ll die a million deaths before I’d snitch,” Tiffany said, looking me straight in the eye.

“I wish it was me who killed him. You have my word, I won’t say a thing,” Tati said, glaring at the dead man on the floor.

“That settles that. I need a few, Maven. You want the story, Tiffany or Remy can tell you. I just want to get out of here.” The cage seemed like it was getting smaller.

“Alright, go on. We will get this shit together here.”

I rushed out of the club and jumped on my bike. I had nowhere to go, but there was one person I knew I could talk to even if he didn’t give me any real advice.

  4

I pulled up in front of Maino’s shop. I had been coming back and forth so he could work on my bike when he had a few extra minutes here and there, but I wasn’t sure if he was going to be here now.

I smiled when I saw he was indeed still in his hidden shop. I had never been in the Spawns of Chaos clubhouse, but I knew it was somewhere near or in one of these abandoned buildings. His shop was behind another smaller abandoned building. It was only big enough for him and maybe two other people to work, but I don’t think I had ever stopped by when there wasn’t at least one car or bike there for him to fix.

“What you doing here, Lana? I told you I have to wait for the right clamp. It’s an old bike. I’ll let you know when it gets here.” He stood up from under the hood of the car he was working on, agitation on his face.

I looked closely at the dirty car. It was hard to tell because of the rust, dents, and the fact the hood was up. “Is that a Pontiac Firebird?” I tilted my body to the side, trying to get a better look.

He squinted his eyes then looked back toward the car. “Yeah. I didn’t take you for much of a car junkie.”

“Oh, no, I’m not at all, but my father had an incredibly fucking unfit obsession with Firebirds. He said after Eighty, they fucked them up.” I walked a little closer, trying to get more of a look at the old car.

“Shit, I am going to have to agree with your old man. This is a Seventy-Nine— I have been trying to get all the parts I need to fix this baby up for years. I got it at a junk yard after some kid totaled it. It’s taken me all this time just to get most of the parts I need. Still a bit more before I can turn her over though.” He picked up one of the socket wrenches he was using and continued tightening whatever it was he was tightening before.

“That is so cool. You know, you may get some more customers. The girls all said they want to get bikes too. Maybe you can look out to see if there are any cheap ones they can get as beginners. I’ll teach them how to ride, but they are going to need their own wheels.” I leaned back against the headlight of the car with my feet crossed over each other.

“Spoken like a true rider. I don’t know anyone in my crew who would use their bike to teach a beginner. Not unless they’re family or some shit like that, and even then, I am on standby for even the smallest scratch.” He chuckled.

I laughed and turned toward him. I took a deep breath in— I liked this feeling. Usually I was either panicked, looking over my shoulder, or angry about something. The times when I was happy were few and far between.

“That’s what you came over here for? To shoot the shit?”

I looked down. I didn’t know how he would react, but I knew for sure he would not call the cops. “I killed someone today.” I let the words spill out of my mouth, no real emotion behind them, just more of a factual statement.

His hand stopped moving for a second before he continued doing what he was doing. “Yeah, that your first? Popped your cherry?”

“Yeah, it is the first time.”

He shrugged and grabbed the rag he had on the barrel near the car. He wiped his hands off and closed the hood of the car, causing me to move back. “Did you bring cops here behind you or something like that?”

“What? I would never. You guys have done so much for me, I would never put you in danger like that.” I shook my head, a little pissed that he would think that of me.

“What you kill the man for?” He sat down on the hood of the car, looking at me. “Was it just for shits and giggles?”

“You are such an ass. No, he was trying to rape Tatianna. I lit him on fire then skewered the bitch with a wooden stick.” I was looking off, the replay of what had happened only minutes earlier still fresh in my brain.

A sudden slow clap broke the daydream. I looked to the side to see he was clapping with an impressed look on his face.

  “Extra points for creativity.”

I studied his face closely. He looked impressed and slightly amused, but that was all.

“You don’t think I am an evil person? I mean, I am not even the slightest bit upset by it at all. Isn’t that wrong?” I asked. Finally, the question that had been weighing heavy on my mind since I decided to stick the bastard with the makeshift knife was out in the open.

“Fuck that. You did what you had to do to protect your people. If not being a victim and making sure your family is safe means you are evil, fuck it, the world needs more people like you.” He stepped up close to me. “You are strong. You know what needs to be done and you’re not going to let anyone stand in your way. That type of evil is necessary, that type of evil is powerful, and that type of evil is sexy as fuck.”

I laughed slightly before I wrapped my arms loosely around his neck. He backed up slightly, confused as to what I was doing.

“Sexy as fuck, huh?” I pulled him closer slightly. “Is that what you think? You wanna show me how sexy as fuck you think I am?”

My inner vixen stood all the way up and clapped loudly. I had never been this forward with a man in my life. Nothing about killing that man was sexy to me, but the fact I was able to stop him, that I stopped him from making a victim out of anyone, filled me with such a tremendous feeling of power. The high from that power was making me horny as fuck.

“Girl, you don’t want that,” Maino said, closing the distance a bit between us, his dick already starting to get hard.

“I’m not talking about a relationship or nothing like that, but if you want to fuck, I’m down. Besides, how many times would I be able to say I was bent over the hood of a 1979 Pontiac Firebird getting my pussy pounded? This seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity. I don’t want to pass that up.” I let my tongue slide slowly across my bottom lip. I dropped one of my hands from around his neck and let it trail down his chest, over his abs, and palmed his ever-growing cock.

He hissed in a breath. “Damn, girl. I’m not looking for a wife, so don’t get that shit twisted.”

“Me neither. I’m just looking to come on this cock.” I smiled and leaned forward, taking his mouth against mine, and I kissed him deeply for a second before I sucked his bottom lip into my mouth and bit him hard.

“Shit!” He shuffled quickly into his pants and pulled out his wallet. The condom was out of the fold and being torn open quicker than I could register what was going on. “Pull those fucking pants down, and put that glorious ass in the air.”

I turned around in front of him. The shake in my hands was back, but this time it wasn’t because of anger. Instead, it was because of the lust and adrenaline coursing through my body. I wasn’t super attracted to Maino— he was too thin for my permanent taste. I liked my men big and burly. He would do for what I needed. I shimmied my pants and underwear down as far as I needed and he pushed my upper body down on the hood of the dirty car.

  “You ready,
girl?” Maino asked as he positioned himself behind me, ready to dive in. I reached back and grabbed his cock, just making sure I felt that latex sheath on his rod and also to find out exactly what he was working with. He was a nice size— it would get the job done.

“Hell yeah, let’s go.” I braced my body against the hood of the car.

My eyes rolled to the back of my head as he pushed himself inside of me. I had forgotten how much I used to love having sex. He pressed in balls deep one good time before he began to stroke. He used his hands to hold my ass cheeks apart so he could get deeper into my canal. Every pump pushed me closer and closer to my climax. I moaned loud, and for the first time in a long time, it wasn’t fake. I pushed back after every thrust. I loved the way every stroke seemed to make him lose a little bit of control.

“That's right, Lana, get yours,” he growled behind me.

I turned to see him. His head was tossed back in ecstasy, veins straining against his skin as he pummeled into me. “Fucking hell.” His head fell back down and he opened his eyes to look at me. The vulnerability on his face was the small push that I needed.

“Oh, fuck yes, Maino!” My orgasm ripped through me. I slapped a hand down on the car and let the rest of my pleasure continue to course through my body as he raced toward his own.

“Shit!” He thrusted into me three more times, harder than before, then finally stilled as he climaxed deep inside of me.

I pushed up from the car, the dirt from the hood already making me feel grimy.

He pulled out of me and gave my ass a soft smack as he fixed himself in his pants. I bent down and pulled up my own pants. I turned around, bent down, and used his shirt to wipe the dirt and grime off my face. He chuckled lightly.

I stood up and looked over toward my bike. “You think you’ll have the part by Friday?”

He gave me a skeptical look. “Yeah, I’m sure I will.” He probably thought I was going to go back on my idea of no relationships. Nope, what he gave me was all I wanted.

“Cool, I will be back then.” I walked over to my bike and looked over my shoulder. “Oh, and thanks for the lay!” I yelled at him, causing him to laugh.

I walked back into the trailer later that day, expecting my bags to be sitting on the stoop.

“Hello?” I called as I entered. I didn’t want to scare the girls. I know they saw me do some gruesome shit earlier and now that things had cooled down, I was sure that they would want me to leave. It was understandable— no one wants to live with a murderer.

  “You guys here?”

The door to the back room opened and the three of them came out.

“Vexx!” Both Tatianna and Remy screamed loudly, smiles on their faces as they ran toward me, their arms surprisingly outstretched.

“Great, now you guys are calling me that too?” I smiled back as they engulfed me in a hug.

“Fuck yeah, that shit is bad ass. In fact, I think we should all get new personas,” Remy said.

I shook my head and moved to go sit on the small couch. “Yeah, and then you’re going to say we should start our own gang.”

Tiffany walked out of the bathroom, her hair wet and a new color. Now it was fire red instead of blonde. “Why the fuck not? We all getting bikes anyway, why can’t we be like Wire and them? Who says MC clubs are only for men? Besides, I think we would look way hotter in the leather.” She began to dance in front of me, playfully shaking her ass in my face.

I looked over to Remy and Tati, both of them nodding their heads. “Are you girls serious right now? You want to start our own motorcycle club? We don’t know how. We don’t have the space. How are we going to do this?”

Tati answered that one. “All that shit is just extra. We will work on getting everything we need. I know you will find a way.”

“Me? Why me?” I asked, confused as to why the responsibility was mine.

“Well, as the president, you lead, we follow. I know you. Even if we have only been together for a short time, I know you. I’d follow you anywhere.” Tati looked to Remy and Tiffany to see if they agreed.

“That’s right, Madam President!” Tiffany smacked my leg.

Remy nodded her head and wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

I looked around at all the smiling faces. I thought they would want me to leave because of what I did, but instead, they were proud of me, they thought I was strong, wanted me to lead them, and they gave me power. I was ready for the challenge.

  * * *

We spent most of the night going over the small details of the club. We couldn’t think of any other road names besides Riot for Tiffany. She was always making us laugh— she was a riot. We looked in the classifieds and found a few listings for properties for rent. I told them about Maino helping to find them bikes, and the longer we talked about it, the more I could tell they were really serious about this. We didn’t know too much about the lifestyle, but we did know what our mission would be. No more victims. We would help battered women, house them if we could, teach the younger girls about the signs they should watch out for, shit like that. It was a mission we could all be proud of and were all affected by.

We joked about the different road names we could have, but when we all woke up the next morning with our monthly and cramps claiming each of us, we had the name of our club. That very morning, Eve’s Fury was born. We laughed about it until the pain caused us to stop.

We didn’t have work, but apparently a president’s job is never over. I was off to figure out a way to get our own space. I didn’t know the members of the Wings of Diablo that well, but I did know they were for the most part a do right kind of crew.

I knocked on the heavy wooden door, their insignia carved deep into the beautiful surface. Mack opened the door. He didn’t say much but nodded his head once and moved aside so I could come in.

“Oh, look who it is! How you doing, killer?” Ripper called out from his spot at the bar.

I glared at him for a second before looking around for Maven. I spotted her coming down the stairs, a tired-looking Clean following close behind her. The glow and exhaustion on their faces was undeniable. They had just finished fucking, I would bet money on it. Her whole expression changed when she saw me.

  “What’s wrong? Did something happen?”

I rushed to where she was. “No, nothing happened. Everything is fine. In fact, the girls and I have decided to do something kind of crazy.”

“Let me guess, you all are starting exciting careers in pyrotechnics,” Clean said from where he sat down next to Ripper. Both of them started laughing. “The last show was to die for.” Clean waggled his eyebrows.

Ripper cackled loudly, hitting his thigh. “Yeah, the whole performance was fire,” Ripper joked, causing both of them to laugh even harder.

Maven tried to hold in the laughter, but I could see her mouth trying to turn up into a smile. “You boys are so fucking immature. Come on, Vexx.” Maven motioned for me to follow her.

We walked over by the stairs and she waited for me to tell her what I had on my mind.

“The girls and I want to start our own MC.”

Her eyebrows shot up to her hairline. Clearly, she wasn’t expecting me to say that shit.

“Vexx, I know you have been around us for a while now, but are you sure that is something you guys want to do?”

“Yes, but I wanted to talk to Wire first. You think he’ll see me? I have a favor to ask,” I said.

“Not even a legit club yet and already trying to make deals.” She chuckled. “So since you are the one who has come to speak for this so-called club, I am assuming the girls have claimed you as their leader.”

I took one step back and offered a silly curtsey-like movement. “Vexx, President of Eve’s Fury MC, at your service.”

“Eve’s Fury? That shit is so fucking badass.” She shrugged and started moving toward the back where I thought Wire and his family stayed. She knocked on the door and he came out. It seemed like she was exp
laining to him what had happened and what I had told her because he looked at me a few times, once a look of surprise, then a look of understanding, then finally a look of skepticism. It was starting to piss me off that no one seemed to think we could pull this off.

“Vexx, come on, let’s catch up,” Wire called out to me and started to walk out to the extended patio they had rebuilt in the back of the compound.

I felt my anxiety start to rise. I had been around dangerous men, and I knew Wire was probably as dangerous as they came. I had no idea why they called him Wire, but the barbed wire tattoo on his arm and the strange looking scars he had on his arms made me take a guess.

“I heard you and the girls got into some shit yesterday.”

“I handled it.” I stood straight. I wasn’t going to let him intimidate me no matter how dangerous he was.

“Yeah, I heard that too. So what is this shit about you wanting to start your own club?”

  “Yes.”

He chuckled. “You actually think you are ready for some shit like that? You don’t know the first thing about being the president of an MC. It’s not just riding bikes and parties. We are a family. If one of us goes down, we all go down. You fall on the fucking blade for your brothers. You ready to do that for these women you just met?” I heard what he said and he was right.

“Tell me something, Wire, have you ever had a man grab you and force his disgusting cock down your throat? Or have someone beat you so bad that you just knew you were going to die, and then when you didn’t, they just beat you again the next day? Have you ever felt completely and utterly hopeless, ready to give up on life, ready to just die all because the one person you knew was there to protect you was the same person who was slowly day-by-day tearing the very soul out of your body?” I stared at him, waiting for an answer.

“No, I don’t.” He glared right back.

“I do. I know exactly how all that feels, and I know they all know exactly how that feels as well. I may not know them as well as you know some of your brothers, but those women are my sisters. It takes a special kind of woman to survive the mess we have survived and still come out smiling. I will do anything and everything to make sure I am never in that position again, and as their president, I will do the same for them.” I kept eye contact with him.
