CW Boys- The Complete Series Box Set Page 52

The only option that was feasible was to travel by bus. Not the fanciest accommodations, but sometimes in life you get what you get, and you learn not to throw a fit.

I had been looking into art institutes for the last few months of high school and thanks to saving every penny I got, I was able to afford the first two years on my own which only left Mom to pay on the last two along with my housing.

  All around, not too shabby.

As the last few days of high school were winding down and we were preparing for Graduation, Dex gave me the best present a girl who is in love with two men could ask for. He was coming to Denver with us.

I still don’t understand all the details of how he made it happen, but in a nutshell, he gave up his right to the scholarships and talked his dad into paying for his college tuition. Anytime anyone questions him on it, he says that a parents’ guilt over a divorce can pay for many things, including a four-year college education.

I stopped asking questions after that.

And to top it off, my mom married Gary. It was a small ceremony with Jimmie as the best man and I as the brides maid. If anyone deserves their happily ever, its her.

Seeing them get married made me realize how lucky I am . Few people in this world get a love that lasts the age of time and I’ve found it twice at the same time. I would rather have an unconventional relationship that is real than a normal one that is fake. The love we have for each other is perfect.

[K1]If his legs and feet are outside the window she wouldn't be able to pull on them. This is physically impossible.

[K2]Em-dash for abrupt interruptions. Ellipses for trailing off.

[K3]Other chapters in her POV have her name. For consistency I've added them in.
