Her Lifeguard (Man Card Book 4)
Page 6
“Oh yeah, like I would be able to rescue a swimmer with my athletic abilities. They would windup rescuing my ass,” he mocked.
“Well that is true,” I laughed at how he tried to sound like me with this ridiculous high-pitch voice. “And I most certainly do not sound like that.”
“I’ll record it next time,” he teased.
“Yeah, you do that.” I really did miss him. “Can you share that business manager job?”
“Better yet. I’ll get you in contact with the hiring manager.”
“Do you now the person?”
“Maybe,” he said and glanced around before leaning closer to the camera. “I had fun last night.” He was talking about our phone sex.
“I did, too.” I had headphones in so no one could hear the conversation but it still caused me to blush. “Call me around ten for a repeat?”
“You can count on it, baby.”
I hit end and leaned back in my chair. Why was I still in this cubicle? I had no reason to be here. The job was not my career. I was good at what I did but I could shine at other jobs. Like a business manager job that would take me back to the beach and into the arms of an amazing lifeguard.
I knew our relationship started with instant attraction, but after two weeks of being separated, I knew exactly where I belonged.
It was time to make some changes.
Epilogue
Leslie
One month later…
“Why are you standing in a bathroom?” I was holding my phone up so Gabby could see the ocean behind me in the video chat. “Is this a new kinky thing you’re wanting to discuss?”
“Really?” She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “I just wanted to say thank you.”
“For what, baby?” I watched how she looked around like she was looking for someone. It was weird, the bathroom actually looked familiar.
“The contact for that business manager job.”
“You told me they filled it?” I stood up and glanced over at the public restroom building about twenty yards away. “Gabs, where are you exactly?”
Then without hesitation I noticed Gabby walk out of the building. She was wearing my favorite large brimmed red hat, a red see-through swimsuit cover and a stunning red bikini. Fuck.
She held up her phone and I noticed how her finger hit the end button. Then she did a runway show all the way over to my station. When she reached the bottom of the ramp I was waiting at the top. My body reacted the moment I saw her. She had mentioned a few weeks ago the business manager job was between her and another candidate. Then she never talked about it again. I just assumed it was filled and we had to wait a little longer to be together.
Gabby stepped in front of me and placed her hand on my chest. “Hey,” she said in this low sexy tone that made my cock go to full attention.
“What are you doing here?” I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the small room for more privacy. “I mean, how, what, I’m so confused.”
She grabbed each side of her robe and then dropped the fabric off her shoulders. As it pooled around her feet all I wanted to do was rip the tiny bikini off. “Well,” she said and untied the string wrapped around her neck. “That job you told me about.”
“Wait,” I was trying to process too many things at one time. “The job you told me was filled?”
“I never let you know either way,” she winked.
“That’s true.” I reached for her hands. “You got it?”
She pushed my body back and I fell onto a chair by the desk. “I got it.” She climbed onto my lap. “I start Monday.”
“Okay, now I’m lost. You start Monday, so does that mean you’re moved already?”
She started to grind against me. The woman knew exactly what I needed. “Don’t be mad. I had Nova, Ally, and Zander help me move.”
“Why the fuck would I be mad?”
“Because I didn’t tell you sooner.”
“Gabs, holy fuck.” I stood and pulled her up into my arms and spun her around. “Mad is the farthest from my mind, but I can’t believe you managed to keep it a secret.”
“It wasn’t easy,” she admitted and wrapped her arms around my neck. “Everyone at work had to be in on the secret. Otherwise one of them would’ve ran in to my office whining about how I was leaving.”
“Where are you living.” I sat back down and settled her body on my lap.
“I’m staying at a hotel for the time being. My stuff is in a storage unit.”
“Why?” I pushed her hips back and forth over my cock.
“I needed to talk to you first.”
“Because you want to move in with me?”
“What?” She had this shocked look on her face. “No, I wouldn’t do that to you.”
“Well, you better cancel any appointments you have to see rental properties.” I pushed my swim trunks down slightly. I couldn’t wait any longer. Then she helped me by moving her swimsuit to the side for better access. “God I missed you.” She lifted up and slid down slowly over my cock. “You’re moving in with me, Gabby Berry.”
“Fuck,” she moaned and moved in and out. As she increased her pace she shook her head no. “Les, we need more time to get to know each other.”
“We did that.” I slid my thumb down and made small circles around her clit. “Now you move in with me.”
“You’re demanding.” She placed her hands on my shoulders and deepened the movements. “I like it.”
“Yeah, well just wait till I start telling you what to do at our house.”
“Les, about that.”
I forced her body up and then down quickly. The movement was intense for us both. She cried out and started to move in and out at a very fast pace. “Gabby, our house. That’s it. That’s all that needs to be discussed.”
She arched her body and pushed her breasts toward my face. “One condition.”
“Anything,” I promised and bit down on one of her taut nipples.
You could see the pleasure on her face. As we continued to move. She was having difficulty talking. “This.” She moaned loudly. “I want this every day.”
“Sex with me every day is your requirement?”
She screamed out her release and I had to laugh at how everyone outside knew exactly what was happening at this very moment in station twelve on Carolina Beach. Gabby knew when closing time was and had arrived thirty minutes before. “That’s it.”
“That’s easy, baby.” I pulled the red hat further down and wrapped my fingers around her neck to bring her closer. “But you have to promise to always wear this fucking hat and nothing else.”
“That’s why I bought five more.”
“You came prepared,”
“And ready to give you forever.”
