  Chapter One

Dee’s bones crunched as she shifted mid-air, going for the stairs, leaving her mother’s room. She was headed straight to her private den.

She snorted. This was no house. It was a damn mansion with so many rooms and places to hide. Dashing around the corner, Dee didn’t see the three men standing in her way before it was too late. She ran smack into Talhrn, but he was ready. He’d reached down and scooped her up before she could do anything. Holding her in his arms, he rubbed his cheek against her fur. Even though she was a full-blown female Saber-Tooth tiger, he cradled her like she weighed nothing.

“What’s wrong, Little Kitten?” He stared into her face, not one bit afraid she would rip him apart, which was impressive. At 600 pounds, Dee was a big cat, but an annoyed one as she snarled at him. She and her mother were the last of their kind, or at least that’s what they’d thought until yesterday.

Knowing he wouldn’t put her down, Dee shifted in his arms, clothing herself in her favorite corset, jeans, and boots. “Please release me.”

The man grinned, his gaze traveled down her body, then back up. “Beautiful. So where are you off to in such a hurry? You’re angry?” He cocked his head to the side, and if she didn’t know better, Dee swore he was trying to pry into her mind.

“It’s none of your business. I asked you to release me, please. I won’t say it again,” Dee snapped, but didn’t meet his eyes. The man was gorgeous, his dark blue eyes created havoc in her body, but she wouldn’t be influenced. Oh, she knew the minute she’d laid eyes on them that they were Alphas. Dee was not about to fall at any man’s feet any time soon. No, she liked her life, even though it was a little lonely at times. It wasn’t perfect, but it had benefits and tonight she would exercise one of those perks.

Very slowly, the man lowered her down his body. The hard edge of his cock rubbed against her stomach. His long, thick cock seemed to grow further against her. Talhrn’s gaze dropped to her nipples. They now stood hard and could be seen through her shirt. Her unique scent when excited grew more pronounced. He took a deep breath and nuzzled behind her ear.

“You smell divine. We’re wondering if you would have supper with us tonight. We could go anywhere you want. I think it’s time we got to know one another.” He licked the side of her neck before she could slip out of his arms.

Heading towards the door, Dee glanced over her shoulder at Talhrn. “You might be a friend of my mom’s mates, Talhrn, but I don’t know you or your friends. Plus, I have plans and I refuse to cancel them.”

She strolled down the hallway towards her room and smiled. Her mother believed her to be naive, but that wasn’t the case. Being stuck here alone for so many years, Dee had sought comfort. She flinched, remembering her feeble attempts at dating humans. She had broken one man’s nose after he’d said something stupid, and had experienced two sorry excuses in the bedroom, so Dee had given up.

Her need for release and something more was so powerful that Franko had called his cousin to help her. Ever since then, the cat had been happy, her personal need to have the whip across her back every few months was fulfilled. It was time again to feel the sting of the whip. With her mother so close, Dee didn’t want to risk her taint of evil spilling onto Maya.

The bad blood inside her would be released tonight. And the only place that could happen was at the club Dungeon Masters. She refused to be her father’s daughter.

Tonight, the famous Master Montreal would be there demonstrating his technique with the whip, and she’d gotten on the schedule to be his sub for the night. It’d been months since anyone at the club had whipped her like she needed. But then again Montreal was a sadist and would have no problem exorcizing her demons. Nothing would stand in her way tonight. Every visit her mother made here, Dee felt unworthy and ashamed of where she came from.

Maybe one day she would explore the reason, but tonight she was on edge more than normal. She needed the bite of the whip on her skin. The pain was the only thing that brought her peace. Tonight, Gray, Franko’s cousin, had promised she would be taken care of.

Slipping into her room, Dee paced back and forth. The problem was going to be getting out of the house without anyone the wiser. Stupid aliens, and their disappearing and reappearing, really put a damper on her playtime. It’d been weeks since she’d visited the club, but tonight she wouldn’t give up.

Her cell phone rang and she grabbed it from the table. Seeing Master Gray’s number pop up, she answered. “Hello, Sir, what can I do for you?”

“I haven’t heard from you in days. You’re still coming in for tonight’s show?” Gray asked.

“Oh, yes, Sir. My mother came home. I’ve been spending some time with her, but I’ll be there,” she smiled all of a sudden hot and needy.

“No pleasuring yourself today, Dee, we want you needy for tonight’s show. Master Montreal has been waiting to play with you for some time,” he said and hung up the phone.

“Damn, damn he would order me not to play.” She plopped down on the bed and sighed. How she was going to get through the day, she didn’t know.

  ***

Talhrn watched his meru disappear down the hallway. Her heated scent had his cock straining the seams of what humans called jeans.

“She’s not as innocent as she lets on,” Todd, his weru, said beside him. “You really believe she is our meru?” He turned his attention back on their woman, frowning at her back.

“Are you questioning me, Todd? I have seen the effects a meru has on our kind and she is ours. Already her body is changing, I could smell it on her, but our Little One is up to something. Todd, you will watch her, while I have a talk with Akaos.” Maybe watching their meru, Todd would appreciate her more.

He turned and his heated gaze landed on Marquis. “Marquis, you are with me?” Both of them would get the relief they needed.

Without a word, Talhrn moved towards their rooms only to hear a phone ring. It was coming from Dee’s room. Holding up his hand for quiet, he listened to the phone conversation and he didn’t like what he heard at all.

With the power to hear both sides of the conversation, Talhrn was furious. Who was telling their female she couldn’t play? Play what? And why was she calling this person Sir? He spun around and knocked on her door. One thing was for sure, he was about to start their bonding even if she didn’t want to.

Dee sniffed the air and frowned before she answered the door. “What do you want? I told you I’m not interested.”

“Really, then tell me why your nipples are hard, and I can smell your heat? When was the last time you fed? You need to eat. I can feel your hunger, and what better person to feed from than me?” He leaned against the door and waited, but was shocked when she slammed the door in his face.

“What my body does is not your business and my hunger isn’t either. Back off, or you can leave my house,” she shouted from behind the door.

“What’s going on?” Her mother asked behind them. “Akaos, I thought you were going to have a chat with your friends?”

  “Maya, you k
now we can’t interfere. As it is, they’re willing to court her here, and not take her to our planet.” Akaos yanked on Maya’s hair and looked down at her face. “Behave, or I’ll have to take you to our rooms.”

She moaned and tried to escape his grasp, but Akaos shook his head and smiled at him. “Even punishments turn her on. If her daughter is anything like her mother, you three will have your hands full.”

The door opened to Dee’s room. “Oh good, you’re here. Mom, I wanted to let you know that I won’t be home tonight. I have plans that can’t be canceled. They were made over two months ago. I’ll catch dinner out. Have you seen Lacey? I wanted to borrow her black skirt for tonight.”

The small woman shut her door behind her and kissed her mom’s cheek. “Never mind, I’ll just check her room. Oh, and Mom, you’ll have to pick up Dan since I won’t be here,” she said over her shoulder.

“You will take Talhrn with you!” Akaos ordered, before she could get away from them. She stopped and turned half-way around to glare at him.

“I will not! You can order my mother around, but you have no rights to say where I go. I have plans and no one is coming with me. Plus, it’s a private place and he’s not a member,” she said, lifting her chin a little in a challenge. But before she could say anything, the General, her new step-dad, was in front of her.

“What were you told would happen to you if you placed yourself in danger? You will take Talhrn and you will like it,” he ordered.

The thought of Akaos trying to spank his woman had him clenching his fists. Even though Akaos had every right to take control over Dee until her men laid claim to her, Talhrn knew he wouldn’t allow him to touch her. Now, he, on the other hand, would take great pleasure in putting her over his knees.

“Fine!” she peeked around Akaos’ body and snarled at him. “Be ready at seven, and Talhrn, if you interfere with my night, I’ll rip your balls off.” She lifted her hand, giving him a quick glimpse of her sharp claws.

Yes, it was only a matter of time before that sweet ass was over his lap. The bratty attitude only drew out his dominance.

With that, she spun around and ran down the hallway, as he cupped his balls. A small hand squeezed his arm. “I’m so sorry. I don’t know what’s going on. She’s never been like this.” Maya looked close to tears and at once Akaos was there hugging her.

“Little Cat, you have nothing to worry about. I’m sure Dee is just upset with all of my family here, and now she is soon to be bonded to Talhrn and his kith. She’ll come around. Come, you need to eat and we need to plan.”

He watched Akaos escort his woman back towards the kitchen. “You know she’s going to bolt right? She won’t wait for us.” Marquis reached down and rubbed his cock through the pants. “Let me take the edge off for you.”

“No, we’ll wait. For now, grab her phone and get that number. We can start with that,” Talhrn ordered and followed his meru down the hallway. Marquis was right. Dee would run, but they’d be right behind her.

  Chapter Two

Dee paced back and forth in her room, waiting for Lacey. Sitting on the bed were Abby and her twin sister, Agatha. “You need to relax. I’m sure she’s leading those three jerks on a wild chase by now,” Abby said, cocking her head to the side as if listening to something. “It’s time. Lacey says it’s an all clear.”

Agatha reached for the hidden door, but Dee was there first. “I can’t thank the two of you enough.” Dee slid into the tunnel, her eyesight shifting to that of the cat so she could see in the dark. She too had heard Lacey’s words. She still couldn’t believe Lacey lost Talhrn and his friends.

The tunnels were old, musty and dangerous, but this one she’d used a number of times before to escape her mother’s watchful eye as a teenager. She grinned. Yep, Dee had been a bad girl and still was, as far as she was concerned. “Keep to the left side of the tunnel or you’ll...”

“Shit, I just stepped in water. So much for these shoes,” Agatha sighed and followed close behind her. “Do you think they’ll allow us in the club? I mean we’re not members.”

“They’ll let you in, you’re with me, and I’ve been going for a while.” Dee peeked at the sisters. “I have to ask that whatever you see, you keep it between us. I don’t want my mom knowing about any of this.” The thought of her mother even thinking of her strapped up was enough to make her shiver.

She turned to the left and saw the opening to the outside tunnel. “Not a sound now. Lacey should have distracted them enough, but just in case.”

Making their way out of the tunnel, Dee scanned the area. All was clear. The moon was bright and shown down on Lacey as she leaned up against one of the larger boulders, smiling. “Took ya’ long enough.” She nodded to her left and Dee shook her head, laughing.

“Akaos is going to kill us all, “she said, but moved to the street with the women where a taxi waited for them.

“I had no choice, they wouldn’t move. So I just tied them up. They didn’t think I could do it. Fools! Akaos really should train his men to be more cautious around females. Hell, half of the creeps we went after in Detroit were female.” Lacey took one more look at the man she’d tied up.

“And they fight dirtier too,” Agatha grumbled and hopped in the front of the taxi.

“I wouldn’t know, since Mom always kept me out of the loop,” Dee stated as she got into the car, shutting the door on her side. Even though she was older than anyone in the car, her mother always made her feel like a baby. She had never been included in any of the hunts, or even invited to Detroit to help out on the team.

“You know she did that to protect you.” Lacey reached over and squeezed her hand. “So, when did you realize you were into pain?”

At first Dee just sat there, stunned. “Excuse me? How do you know what I like? None of you took the time to know anything about me,” Dee hissed, letting a portion of the anger she’d built inside over the years escape.

Lacey held up her hands. “I meant no disrespect, Dee.” She shrugged her shoulders. “I know the signs, as I’m into pain too.”

Dee relaxed a little. “I don’t know what I am. I enjoy the scene, that’s for sure.” Once more, Dee looked out the window, but didn’t see anything. “When I’m strapped up, where I can’t move and the whip is striking me, it eases something inside of me. I can let go of the guilt and pain I cause my mother every time she looks at me. For years, after her visits, I would lock myself in my room for weeks. I didn’t eat or feed, just cried. That is until Momma Anna found out what I’d been doing and insisted I go visit Gray at the club. Franko had called him and explained things for me. Ever since that day, I would spend two days at the club after Mom’s visits.” Dee didn’t know why sharing that little piece of information felt right, but it did. For the first time in God knew how long, Dee had actually let a little of what she kept hidden out.

All three women focused on her. “You can’t believe Maya regrets you? Don’t you know how much you mean to your mother? My God, Dee! Maya would die for you” Abby snarled, getting a look from the driver. “Sorry, kids.”

Dee snorted. “I know my mom would give her life for me, but she also relives that moment I was conceived over and over again, when she sees me. I carry that evil stench inside of me...” Her words held a little whip of defiance.

She gripped the door handle, as the club came into view. “With every stroke of the whip I pray the evil inside of me is being beaten out of me,” Dee admitted “…that I won’t become what my father is.” She hissed and threw open the door to the taxi before anyone could say anything, knowing the fare had been taken care of before they’d set out on their adventure.

“Wait!” Lacey swung her around before she could reach the front door and placed her hands on Dee’s face, staring at her.

“You are no more evil than I am. What a man does has nothing to do with his blood or his genes. Believe me Dee, I know.” Lacey released her and shook her head.

  “God, we’re more alike th
en I realized. Did you know my father raped my aunt, cousin and mom before they could kill him? So you see, you’re not alone.” She held out her hand. “Show me your club.”

In that one instant, Dee actually felt close to someone, but it also brought pain from wanting more and she was too afraid to ask for it.

As they stepped up to the doors, one of the guardians’s opened the door, nodding to her and her friends. “It’s good to see you again, pet.” The pitch of his voice sent a warm feeling through her body. It was hard to believe it had only been a month since her last visit here.

“Thank you, sir. I called ahead about my friends coming tonight?” She stepped into the front lobby and took a deep breath. The scent of leather and pleasure always helped her slowly drift into her own world.

“You know the rules.” He handed each them baskets and pointed to the dressing room.

“Yes, sir, and my friends have been warned ahead of time.” She didn’t have to say a word. Each of ladies followed her into the dressing room. One thing that was great about this place was that there were no humans. This club was designed only for the other species out there.

Moving to the right, Dee sat down on the bench and stripped off her boots. The floors throughout the entire place had been carpeted to protect the submissive’s knees, unless of course they were in the dungeon. Then it was up to the master on what he or she wanted.

“I’m surprised this place is nice. Some of the clubs I’ve been to were, well, pits.” Lacey stripped off her clothes and threw them into her basket.

“They did a major over haul of the club about three years ago. The carpet is new, the walls were all painted to lighten it up. Well, except for certain rooms. They added about eight different theme rooms too. Headmaster Gray brought in all new equipment too. With all the killings and things going wrong, many of Franko’s pack and the surrounding clans needed a place they could go to unwind. Here they can relax and trust everyone who comes in here.” Dee took her basket and placed it in the cabinet.
