She folded the towel and laid it over the top of the kennel, then went back to the bathroom to wash her hands, careful to sidestep around the pee. When she was done, she left the room and went in search of Stella.

What she found in the kitchen was a beautiful woman, damp and clad only in a towel, standing in front of the running microwave. She gawked for a moment before Stella turned around and grinned at her.

“I got hungry, so I figured you would be, too. The leftovers in the refrigerator had a note from your sister that said they were for tonight.” She gestured to a steaming plate on the counter. “That’s for you. I’m not much for enchiladas, but I love black beans.”

The microwave beeped. She opened it, pulled out a bowl, and brought it over to the counter beside the other one. She walked around the kitchen, checking in drawers, until she finally turned to face Chuck with a sigh. “I can’t find anything. Give me a hand?”

A half-dozen scenarios flicked through Chuck’s head as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed the silverware on autopilot. She turned around to hand over a spoon and found Stella standing right behind her.

“On the other hand,” Stella said, wrapping her arms around Chuck’s waist, “I think maybe we need to get you into the shower first.”

Stella stepped back, took hold of the hem of Chuck’s shirt, and peeled it off of her slowly. Chuck allowed herself to be stripped piece by piece until she was standing in the middle of the kitchen naked. Stella looked her over with a smirk of approval.

“You look even better out of clothes than you do in them,” Stella said.

Chuck stepped forward, dropped her hands to Stella’s shoulders, and let them run gently down Stella’s arms. When she got to the towel wrapped around her torso, Stella lifted her arms and dislodged the towel. It fell to the floor without a sound.

  “God, you’re beautiful,” Chuck whispered.

Stella stepped into Chuck’s arms and pulled her head down for a kiss. Her tongue snaked inside Chuck’s mouth quickly, wantonly, and Chuck felt herself being taken over. She grabbed Stella’s hips, lifted her up onto the counter, and broke the kiss. Her fingertips drifted slowly down Stella’s arms to her chest. Stella grabbed them, wrapped one around her breast, and stuck the other between her legs.

“Are you sure?” Chuck asked, out of breath.

Stella answered by pulling Chuck to her and kissing her again. The weight of her breast in Chuck’s hand was intoxicating, but it was nothing compared to the slick, open center of her gyrating slowly on the other hand.

Stella broke the kiss. “I want you inside me,” she demanded, then reached around and scratched lightly along Chuck’s back. “I need you.”

That was all the encouragement Chuck needed. She let go of Stella’s breast, her fingers grazing the hard nipple as they drifted down to Stella’s thighs. Her legs parted far enough for Chuck to get between them, and Chuck draped Stella’s legs on top of her shoulders to get a better look at the sweet-smelling center of her.

  “Please,” Stella begged.

She grabbed Chuck’s hair and pushed her head where she wanted it to go. Chuck allowed herself to be led, and when her tongue first touched Stella’s skin, both of them let out a moan. Stella’s fingernails on the back of her head dug in deep, and Chuck had to let go of one of Stella’s thighs to dislodge them.

  “Sorry.”

Chuck responded by diving back in. She kissed, licked, and nibbled her way from the cropped hair of Stella’s mound, down one side and back up the other, carefully avoiding the throbbing, wet center.

“Chuck, please, I need you to fuck me!”

Her resolve gone, Chuck leaned back long enough to run two fingers from Stella’s clit down to her entrance and push inside. Stella cried out, and Chuck pushed her face back between her legs.

She swirled her tongue around Stella’s clit as Stella’s strong thighs squeezed the sides of her head, and her fingers snarled in Chuck’s hair. It wasn’t long before Stella’s back arched, her fingers dug harder into Chuck’s head, and she came with a yell that cause all the dogs in the house to start barking.

Both burst into laughter. Chuck wiped her face with Stella’s bath towel, stood up, and wrapped her arms around Stella. For a moment, she gazed into Stella’s bright eyes and watched her catch her breath.

“Why are you looking at me that way?” Stella asked, still panting.

Chuck took Stella’s face in her hands and pulled her into a long, soft kiss. When they parted, her stomach burned with desire again – or was that something else? – and she hungrily took in all of Stella’s body with her eyes.

“You are the most beautiful, most amazing woman I have ever met,” she said.

Stella pulled her closer. “And you’re stuck with me.”

Stella’s stomach growled just as Chuck felt a pang in her own. Chuck helped Stella down off the counter and wrapped her in a hug. She kissed the top of Stella’s springy crop of hair, then pulled away and held her at arm’s length.

“Remind me to give my thanks to Stan when he wakes up.”

Stella kissed Chuck, then pulled away, kicked the clothes and towel out of the way, and turned the microwave back on for another few minutes. She glanced back at Chuck over her shoulder. “I’ll be here.”

  Chuck couldn’t ask for more.
