Barb snorted then.

“So, we’re just going to go with the coolness of Troy being enough to wash away the rest of this?”

Troy made a face, which was considering, then nodded rapidly.

“Great plan. We’ll do it that way. So, what do you want to do next? I was thinking a vacation? Before we get to wedding planning and all that.”

That got a strange three-way hug. Several people looked on, but they were probably just jealous. After all, he had two hot chicks and most of them had none.

True, the world was about to become truly freaky. That was just the truth. That was fine though, since it was the way it needed to be. In the end, that was all that really mattered.

The trick to life was not dying.

The trick to keeping the world together was to do whatever was needed.

He got a kiss, from each of his lovely ladies, then got back to work. The burgers weren’t going to fix themselves, after all.

“Oooh. God Burgers. Kind and I really need to look into that idea.”

Then, laughing, he moved back into his life.
