Galaxies Child Earth: Abandoned. Finding love in the bad lands. (Antiquity 2 Book 3) Page 11

by Mona Calhoun

“HOW’D YOU DO THAT!” Elasa was shaken and overjoyed at what she saw, no weapon and yet she cut a path through the ocean without any problems. It was Jill’s mind, it was her dream. She was doing things that totally defied their logic and what their programming was able to do. What Jill did not realize, it was all in Iksah’s mind and what she had built was based on real world technology.

She had built a real ship that was defying all of their technology, and yet. She used her own imagination, and what she had learned from her father and his technology that she’s been helping him to build for years. She had put it through technical applications using the AI’s she had designed herself without the limitations of the software and used them to build the ship correctly. A ship so far beyond their understanding and yet, used virtually no power that they could understand.

Elasa watched as Jill’s body began changing, she was dying to try out her new cannon she had added to her ship. Her arm began changing as small rectangle black objects appeared and began forming around her arm. Then as it took shape, glass formed on the bottom of her arm and then took shape. It merged and morphed together to form a seamless device that pulsed with energy as a white mist began forming and dropping away from what use to be her own arm.

It went all the way up her arm and it began at the top of her shoulders. A metallic alloy glistened solid deep black. It moved like water and rippled like rings on a pond. The shape was that of a cannon with a wide hole at the end where her fingers use to be. At the tip was a pure Unobtainium sheath that went inside the chamber. She leaned forward and began to spit slowly and a disk formed below her mouth. As the drop of spit fell through the disk, it formed a point and then the length of a shell head of a dense slag.

She caught it, Elasa was in aw of what she was seeing. Jill raised her arm and then tilted it to the right, A chamber opened up as a lid exposed what was inside. Elasa had very good eyes, and what she saw was unbelievable. It was the insides of the ship, thousands of decks. Windows with people standing inside looking out as the chamber was alive. She saw people preparing for something, and when the shell blocked her view.

She felt the magnetic field emanate from Jill’s arm. Jill removed her hand as the lid closed on its own. Elasa realized before she could no longer see inside, that they were massive hanger doors of the ship she saw. Then the seams vanished into one fluid piece. She raises her arm and aimed towards the ocean. Elasa was blown out of control as the blast sent her flying into the air, the shockwave hurt like hell.

She hit the sand and then she felt the ocean stinging her body as it slowed her down and put an end to her chaos. She quickly used her disk and darted out of the ocean to see what just happened. What she saw was amazing, it was like looking at Glass art in air. It was as if a massive glass structure had been erected from the beach clear into the ocean for thousands of miles into the ocean as it disappeared.

She seen it was still expanding, it had to be over a hundred feet in diameters and yet. It was the only thing she had for a reference, a boom tube. The effect it was having on the ocean was typical of a shockwave, but to see it on this scale was beyond anything she could have ever imagined. A hundred feet from the boom tube she seen Iksah behind Jill, it appeared that she had caught her from being blown away from the recoil of the blast.

Elasa moved fast to see inside the tube, she move over a mile to get to where she was. And when she seen inside, it was the ocean rushing inside the tube, feeling the rush of wind as the ocean rushed back inside the tube to meet the level of the ocean. It was beyond words, seeing it this big was nothing Elasa had ever thought of or even dreamed. The magnitude of power to create such an effect was impossible, it was defying and electrifying.

She looked over at Jill and that device that formed down her arm and wondered what the hell she was. She could not sense her or that large ship, seeing it vanish and appear in the palm of her hand was nothing she could have ever expected. And yet, the level of technology that she seen inside. What she’s seeing just does not allow for reality, but something right out of science fiction. The level of technology was just beyond her own understanding.

Seeing where the blast left two straight lines where Jill’s feet had cut a perfect path in the sand. The wakes on both sides that looks like the wakes of what a surfer leaves behind when traversing a tidal wave, the trail was over twenty five feet on both sides and she was looking at her with her hips below the ground with Iksah holding her in place. The device was reverting to its normal state, seeing her fingers again.

“WOW!” As Jill exclaimed under her breath with such excitement, Iksah was in shock at what she’s seeing and her eyes got big. A wave had just expelled out of the boom tube and washed Elasa face down, burying her in the sand. The water rushed out and then back to the ocean in every direction. The tube began to fade and break up. The ripples on the ocean surface were now subsiding and the effects died down after a few minutes.

Seeing Elasa’s backside rise from under the sand as if someone had buried her, it made Iksah laugh hysterically and then seeing her head immerge. She shook and brushed off the sand and looked at Iksah laughing. She shook her head as clumps of sand slid off, she began walking back to them. Soaking wet, she smiled at Jill. “What was that?” Jill looked up at Elasa.

“A toy my dad was building, he said it would be useful against the attacks when he gets it finished. Right now he’s working on the heat distribution towers, trying to prevent them from attacking us.” But Jill’s body was back home in bed, trying to forget her dull boring life. Dreaming of a world that was just like this, where anything was possible. But she’s locked down in a bunker that her dad had built if things didn’t go so well.

And now she’s met two make believe friends she’s created, still unaware that she’s in a simulation in someone else’s mind. Living in an accelerated world that was being generated by extremely intelligent enforcers who were wondering where she is and how she had manage to build such a large ship in so little time. With her photographic memory, Jill never forgot anything. Every moment of her life was like a page she could go back and relive or remember everyone and everything as it happened at any given time of any day of her life.

She was absorbing everything she could, and Iksah still could not sense what she was doing. In every classroom and science building that she has in her world, there was a Jill learning anything and everything she could. Jill learned everything she could at home, and with Eve. She learned as she was being programmed when her dad knew books were a rare and expensive commodity. She was soaking up everything she could, and using this world.

She was able to do things like she has always done in her own dreams. She was pulling massive information from Iksah’s data banks, learning everything she had to offer. And she created a ship that would get her to where this creature was. Someone in Jill’s mind she knew she had to be real, and she was trying everything she could to learn anything that will bring her to her. Jill jumped up high and spun in the air that startled them both.

Seeing the blur and then Elasa found herself standing on the beach all by herself. Jill had kidnapped Iksah and dragged her to a place she knew, if this world was anything like hers. She had to try, she rushed at speeds beyond anything humanly possible. She ended up at New York’s main train station, and decided it was not for her. She went sailing across the country back into Ohio and to her own home, with Iksah in her arms.

She kicked the door open and carried her inside; there she spent the next seventy years living her dream. Having children, building and designing devices that her dad did at home. She ended up having 84 children with many friends from the enforcers who visited them in the VR; they shared the time she was there. She lived like she was apart of the family and then one day.

She reached her ripe old age of 92, she woke up in bed at home, in the real world. Crying her eyes out. All because she had died, leaving all her children behind. Her mother came in and sat down beside her, she told her of her adventures
and all the people she’s met. The weapons and technology, she could remember it all as if it actually happened. Her mother climbed under the sheets to console her, but she couldn’t. She laid on the sheets and held her close until she fell asleep.

Jill held onto her dream, she knew it has to be real. Her mind was still locked onto Iksah, her mind was still attached to her even when she was awake. Longing for the day that she could return to that place where dreams do come true. Her mother noticed the tears when she fell asleep, she felt sad knowing how she told the story as if she had lived it. All she said, she could tell she truly believed it was real and that it existed.

She knew that place, it was a barren wasteland. Not a single soul could ever live their due to the contamination. She moved slowly to get out of bed; he leaned down and gave her a kiss in her forehead while caressing her hair. “Sweet dreams baby…” She uttered under her breath and left the door parted and walked down the hall.

Mona Nicky sees a restaurant that catches her eye; she enters to enjoy some shrimp. She stands at the waiter’s desk; she's turned away because she had no clothes or a means to pay for her dinner. She uses her network to contact the owner and asks him to call the restaurant and to join her for dinner. A half hour goes by as she waits. He arrives and enters; he's greeted and is offered a seat as she approaches the stand.

He ignores her and ushers a waiter to seat him at his booth. He asks who she is and degrades her as nobody important. The owner does something unrepentant as he kneels and asks for her forgiveness for his actions. The waiter is shocked as he looks at her. The owner explains who she is as he apologies to late. The owner dismisses him and replaces him with another waiter. He show's her to his booth, she sits on the plush leather seats and asks the waiter for the house best wine.

She summons a picture of her and posts it at the waiters stand. "All enforcer dine here free. No exceptions" A the sign reads. The owner draws everyone's attention to his guest and announces the owner’s rules to every one of his staff and diners. Some of the dinners clap at the notion. He looks at her and apologizes again as he serves her personally.

He has is chefs cooks whatever she wants as she indulges. Elasa and her mate shows up, they are escorted to Mona Nicky's booth. She notices she looks nearly 6 months pregnant as well as Elasa. She caresses Elasa's belly feeling the baby kick and smiles. She kisses her mate and sits next to her. "What are you having?" Elasa asked. "Shrimp and wine." Mona Nicky said. The owner comes back with the wine and sees two more.

He quickly motions for 2 more glasses when they were brought out as he pours for Mona. "Thank you." He bows and he sees their pregnant. He quickly leaves and brings back alternative drinks for them. He had various fruits and vegetables puréed. Elasa sips, she loves the taste, her wife drinks heartily being hungry. The owner pours her more and leaves the container for her. He smiles and leaves for their dinner.

"Do you know when your due?" Mona Nicky said. "My nurse says 13 more weeks; I'm loving this stretching sensation." She plays with her wife's belly button since it's popped out. She wants to suckle on it for some time. Jnanson was relishing her attention, knowing she wants to ravish her again like she did before she came down. Mona Nicky picks up on this as she moves closer to Elasa, nudging her with her nose, getting her attention. Elasa notices and picks up on the hint. They both sense she envies them both, feeling her being aroused thinking about it.

She pecks Elasa on the cheek and moves back to her chair. Jnanson used her network; she let her master know to come down. She knew she loved shrimp. They started showing up, everyone recognized the legendary enforcer. She was swamped by the guests wanting her autograph; they even remembered the Guardian as they offered their condolences. They seen her shed a tear, Genni caught her off guard and licked her tear away.

She stood back, she had Iksah with her. She had grown up a little bit more and gave Mrs. Calhoun her biggest hug. "When I grow up, I want to be just like you." Said Iksah. "You already are, exactly like me. You be good. Santa did a very good deed by bringing her on board. So you take very good care of your parents." Said Mrs. Calhoun. Iksah motioned her to come closer to her. She did, she wrapped her small arms around her neck and began kissing her all over her face for a few seconds. She puts her head on her shoulders. "I know where she came from, I will always love you." She finished whispering in her ear.

Mrs. Calhoun looked surprised, feeling so warm and welcomed, remembering that same feeling. She seen the white bubble form around her, Mona was shocked seeing it too, Genni was the only one inside. "She was critically injured when Mona destroyed the house. Your family saved her life, they had no choice. They did everything they could; they would have lost her had it not been for what they did." It sank in extremely fast as Genni explained what happened... She started to cry as she filled her with her love, it was so intense Mrs. Calhoun's sorrow disappeared instantly.

It was hours David and his crew had been on the road, the transport of the hazardous materials had already left ground zero. They were just outside of 170a1, only 20 clicks to the shield disposal units. They had passed several towns and were just outside of MoricK County when they saw the tail end of a slag that had just ripped by them. The glass air was hard not to see, it went clear out of sight. The sonic boom as the glass air expanded, the windshield cracked as the transport shook from the shockwave impacting them.

Then as they seen another blip of shining white light as the slag passed them. Another glass air expanded as their glass fractured, the noise ear piercing as the shockwave shook them even more. Dave activated his mobile shield emitter and gunned the engine. The tires sped, dirt and mud flying up past the doors and a bright white web formed in mid air in the shield. He had taken a direct hit, no damage or noise as the shield disintegrated the slag on impact. He floored it, he knew his cells would only last for at least 40 seconds until his shield gave out.

His rig was charging the cells as the alternator drained power from the engine. The clock was ticking, if he lost the contaminated materials. It could be spread over several miles in matter of minutes before the rip of the slag would disburse. He was at least two minutes away from the power plant for the shield disposal. The engine whined under the strain from power loss and the torque being exerted. He could see from a distance as he spotted a chopper was at least at 2 and headed right at him at 12.

The web formed in the air again, it was instant he realized he was hit from head on from the chopper in the air. They had a rail gun modified to fire; the glass air was visible as it dissipated. 38 seconds and he gave it all it had, whining as it moved at 80. Hitting the NOS, the engine hit its rmp and the force was felt instantly. It was a good sign he had a good engine, from 80 to 172. The pounding of the springs from the dips in the road was violent as he bounced in his seat. The transport flew and watched the shield timer increase by one, and now the plant was insight.

Out of no where, an explosion of asphalt erupting into the air just off the left side, the glass air that was attached that went at a 11 o’clock angle straight into the ground. He pulled to the right as he drove up to and into the blast, the shield disintegrated the debris flying into the air. Once the hole was inside the shield, the rock and dir flew up inside and around his truck. Scattering up onto the top of the hood as he sailed past.

The NOS ended as his engine started dying down as the power flow charged his shields. Looking back at his indicator, he had 40 seconds remaining, 39. He never called for help, knowing his shield would interfere with is SAT COMMS and the magnetic interference that came from the engine. He was only minutes out, still slowing down at 140. Looking out his rearview mirrors, he saw the chopper getting in behind him. He watched for a few seconds to understand what he was seeing, the chopper was lining up above the road.

They were facing him, seeing the rail gun beneath them only lead him to one thing. They were aiming to fire as he tried to enter the shields at the plant. Now he was only about a thousand yards away, shield active and 26 seconds l
eft. He happened to see another vehicle just to his right, seeing another just up on the hill with a mounted rail gun aimed right at him. He knew they wanted him or inside the shields. He gunned it again, maxing out at 74 now, engine starting to over heat under the strain. 2 seconds away, 21 seconds left and he was at the doors.

He waited until the last second and slammed the breaks when he was hit from three sides, he only seen two of them. But the third caught him off guard. He gunned it again as the transport lurched forward and hit the breaks. Seeing the glass air form in front of the shield and hit the plant shields. He punched it, he rolled up to the shields, he dropped his shields and passed through when it formed in behind him.

Two shots were seen hitting as it had closed only seconds when he entered. He got out and went behind his transport, only to see the shields had cut almost 18 inches of the his truck, seeing it was laying on the other side of the shield. He seen the soil had stayed in place as the shield was destroying it as it was falling into it. He looked around, no one was in insight.

Nicky never meant for her to be injured or changed. "I was not changed, your family seen that I am you in every way. They said I was their mother, and was not able to tell us apart. I do not feel sorry, you gave me back both of my parents. I will always love you for that; I will never forget what you did for me. And do not regret it, because it was meant to be."

When she finished talking. She heard her own words falling out of the mouth of babes. "Since this has happened. I want you to go to Maverick’s world and go to school; I want you to learn all that you can. His schools are the finest I have seen." When she heard her self, she had gotten an inspiration and signaled her children. She smiled knowing what they will do. "You need to turn this off, and be your mom's little girl. This will hurt them, because they are your real parents.
