Seth jerked the blindfold off. She blinked at the spotlights that Tyler must’ve moved to shine into the cab. Tyler was perched on a ladder, his face hidden by the camera as he clicked off one photo after another.

Seth bounced her higher, his thrusts growing harder, faster. His arm wrapped around her, enclosing her breasts as he laid his forehead against her back and let his climax go.

Her orgasm pummeled through her, rising, multiplying. She gritted her teeth, hanging on for her life and her sanity as the two men she loved drove into her. The wildness of their plunges drove her to the brink, then pushed her over the edge.

She was torn apart, her body stripped of any control she once thought she had. As Aaron slumped against her, she did the same against Seth. Caught between their bodies, she let each of their shudders ripple into her own shredding pulsations.

Soon, she could hear nothing except their hard breaths. She let out a slow breath that was filled with blissful satisfaction. Aaron reached above her and untied her hands. She let her lead-filled arms drop to her side. Minutes, hours could’ve passed. She didn’t care.

“Hey, hon, um, are we finished?”

The three of them broke into laughter as they turned to see Tyler, still on the ladder, the camera cradled in his arm.

  Chapter Nine

Beth locked her apartment door behind her. Her mind was still on the photo shoot at the fire station. Her body remembered as well, with her bottom still slightly sore. She could still feel their hands on her, the way they caressed her, mixing roughness with a tenderness she’d never have imagined possible. Last night was a night she’d never forget. Not only had they had amazing, wonderful sex, the men had shown her that being their sub was exactly what she wanted. She’d work her way through nursing school during the days, but the nights would be saved for her men.

She couldn’t believe how wrong she’d been. Submitting to two men who loved her wasn’t demeaning in any way. If anything, her decision to give herself to them had ended up giving her the best that life could offer. She was theirs to command in the bedroom—or on a fire truck—but she was the one who controlled the pain and the pleasure she received. The best part was that she gave them joy and made their lives happier. What more could a woman ask for?

The tune she’d hummed all morning was still on her lips when she put her keys into her pocket and turned toward the hallway leading to the parking lot.

  “I know what you did.”

She was so happy that at first she wanted to laugh at Lonnie. Was he quoting the horror movie? But the rage glittering in his eyes squashed her humor. “Lonnie, what are you doing here?”

“I saw you. What you did was unforgivable.”

Her stomach twisted, warning her to run. Instead, she grabbed hold of the strap on her shoulder bag and tried to ease past him. When he blocked her way, she struggled to remain calm.

“Lonnie, get out of my way.” Maybe if she kept her tone level and didn’t show him how afraid she was, he’d move.

“Didn’t you hear what I said? I saw you.”

She tensed, suddenly aware of what he meant. “Where do you think you saw me?”

“I saw you at the fire station. Behind that tall curtain.”

The blood rushed from her face. He’d seen her during the photo shoot. “Were you spying on me?”

“I had to make sure you didn’t get mixed up with those firemen.” He was so angry that spittle flew from the corner of his mouth. “But you let them fuck you. You’re not the nice girl you pretend to be. You’re a dirty whore.”

Fear and anger battled inside her. She couldn’t fight him. Although he wasn’t half the size Seth and Aaron were, he was still a lot bigger than she was. She tried to dart to the side, but he captured her between his arms and pinned her against the wall.

“Lonnie, you’d better let me go.”

He ducked his head, his dark glare scouring her. “Shut up, whore. You don’t tell me what to do. I’m the one giving the orders.”

She gritted her teeth, determined to keep from letting panic take over. “Back the fuck off right now, Lonnie. If you don’t, I’m going to call the police.”

She was stunned when he laughed at her. “No you won’t. I saw how you let those assholes tell you what to do and now it’s my turn. You’re going to obey me just like you did them. I’m your master now, bitch, and I’ll fuck your ass so hard you won’t sit down for a week. Hell, you’ll be begging me to fuck you again.”

Her hard breaths had her chest rising and falling. Catching his attention, he grabbed one of her breasts and squeezed. She cried out, but didn’t dare move. Could she move? Even if he lowered his arms, she wasn’t sure her legs would move fast enough to run.

“Why did you do that, bitch? Why did you let them fuck you front and back? Hell, you won’t even go on a date with me.”

He’s hurt by my rejection? Yet she felt no sympathy for him.

“I told you I had a boyfriend. Truth is, I have two.”

He let out a tortured shout that had her heart skipping a beat. “Two? You really are a slut. To let not one, but two men fuck you is disgusting. And with another man taking pictures? That’s just fucking low, bitch.”

  “Please.”

“Please, what? Please do this?” He took both of her breasts, fondling them, digging his fingers in hard.

She whimpered. “You don’t want to do this.” She swallowed, trying to get the knot out of her throat. “You’ll get in trouble. Lonnie, think of your grandfather.”

She’d stuck a chord with him. He blinked, the anger in his face softening a moment before coming right back. “Don’t talk about him and don’t tell him anything.”

“Let me go and I promise I won’t say a thing. Not to anyone. I swear.”

  “Open your door.”

She froze, unable to believe she’d heard him right. “What?”

“Open the door. I want to get you spread over your bed.”

“No, Lonnie.” She’d die before she did as he said. “I’m giving you one last chance to stop and leave. If you do, I won’t tell anyone about this.”

“One last chance?” His upper lip curled into a sneer. “You’re an uppity whore.”

In the next instant, he grabbed her arms and thrust her hands above her head. “I thought you liked it rough. I heard you beg them to get rough.”

Her gaze met his. “That’s different. I want their hands on me.” The alarm that had paralyzed her fell away, replaced by a sudden and fierce determination. “I’m their woman and I want to please them. I don’t want to do anything with you. Now, one last time. Leave me alone.”

Surprising herself as much as she did him, she growled, using the sound to put as much force behind her move as she could. His eyes widened as she shoved him away. Before he could stop her, she started running for the parking lot. She heard his cussing as he raced after.

She made it to the end of the hallway, then dashed around the garden area that his grandfather so lovingly attended, and ran straight into the brick wall that was Seth. He grabbed her by the arms, keeping her from falling.

  “Hey, where’s the fire?”

“If there is one, it’s a good thing we’re firefighters.” Aaron strode toward them.

She couldn’t breathe, couldn’t speak. Her pulse pounded in her ears, muting all other noise, as he held her, trembling against him.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Seth wrapped his arms around her.

Thank God. She leaned against him, letting him support her weight. If they hadn’t come along when they had…She pushed the terrible thought away.

Aaron pulled her back so he could see her face. He searched her, worry edging away the lightheartedness he’d had. “What happened? You’re shaking.”

She glanced back toward her apartment, but couldn’t see Lonnie anywhere. As she thought about telling them what Lonnie had done, she peered up into their faces and knew without a doubt that she couldn’t tell them.

  T
hey’ll hurt him. They won’t call the police. Instead, they’ll go after him.

She almost told them anyway. Seeing Lonnie battered and beaten lying on the ground in front of her would have given her a sense of power, and, heaven forbid, satisfaction. But when it was over, what then? Lonnie would file charges against the men she loved. She couldn’t prove that he’d attacked her. She might have bruises on her breasts, but if the authorities checked, they’d find out about the photo shoot and how rough the men had been with her. Without evidence against him, Lonnie would go free. Free to come after her again while her men went to jail for assault.

“Baby, tell us what happened? Was it that creep? That Lonnie guy?”

She had to protect them as she knew they’d protect her. “No. I’m just late for work.”

“That’s bullshit. You were afraid. You were shaking. I saw you. Hell, you still are.”

I saw you. Damn, how she hated hearing those words again, even from Seth.

She pulled back her lips in what she hoped was a convincing smile. “I don’t know what you think you saw, but I’m fine. I won’t be, however, if I’m late for work. Mr. Miller is a stickler when it comes to getting to work on time.”

“Are you sure?” Aaron didn’t believe her. She could tell.

“I’m fine.” She dug around in her bag for her keys, then wondered why she’d put them away in the first place. If she’d held on to them as she usually did, she could’ve used them against Lonnie. Still, it gave her an excuse to look away from Seth’s and Aaron’s intense scrutiny. By the time she’d found them, she could look them in the eye again.

“Did you need something? I mean, did you come by for a reason?”

Aaron tugged her away from Seth and into his strong arms. She wanted nothing more than to stay safely within his hold for the rest of her life.

“Nope. We wanted to see you, that’s all. Last night was terrific. I hope you realize how much it meant to us.”

He caressed her arm, his fingers trailing over her skin. She wanted so much to tell him, but she couldn’t. For their sakes, she needed to stay quiet. “It meant a lot to me, too. I still can’t believe what we did, with Tyler there and everything, but I loved every second of it.”

“Then let’s get together tonight.” His voice was as refreshing as a pint of chocolate ice cream on a hot summer’s day.

“At your place?” She didn’t want them at her apartment. Not with Lonnie spying on her.

“Can’t. It’s a total mess, even by our standards. Besides, we get off duty two hours after you do.”

“I don’t mind waiting. I could work late or even stop by the station and thank the men again.” She realized she was pushing too hard when Seth gave her another probing look.

“Is there a reason you don’t want us here?”

  “Of course not.”

“Do we need a reason to stop by?”

She’d better stop or he’d keep asking questions.

She drew in a whiff of his masculine aroma, then put her hand on him, letting him know that she wanted them both. “No. I want you to come by anytime you want. Day or night.”

“That’s good to know. So tonight’s good? Around seven? We’ll bring dinner.”

“Okay.” She made the gargantuan effort to remove her body from his. “I wish I had time to invite you inside…”

  Seth groaned. “But you don’t.”

“No. Sorry.” She threw her bag’s strap over her shoulder, then glanced back at her apartment again. Still no sign of Lonnie.

She tried to sound carefree. “How about walking me to my car?” Her car was parked along with the other tenants under a carport that stretched the length of the parking lot. The distance from her apartment to her car had never seemed so far.

“Yeah. Let’s do that,” said Seth. “At least we’ll get to enjoy a few moments longer with you.”

She stayed between them as they walked toward her car. After giving them each a kiss that held more gratitude than they’d ever know, she took a quick look around, slid into the driver’s seat and locked the door. The men stayed where they were until she’d backed out and started down the drive.

She was just beginning to relax when she came to the four-way stop leading out of her apartment complex. Checking for oncoming traffic, she put her foot on the gas pedal and eased forward.

  “Shit!”

Slamming her foot on the brakes, she gripped the steering wheel and stared at Lonnie. He’d jumped in front of her car. His expression was dark and menacing.

Knowing that Seth and Aaron were going to leave that same way, she laid on the horn and took her foot off the brake, allowing the car to jump forward. Lonnie cursed, then got out of the way. With her hands sweating and panic threatening to take over again, she floored the gas and whipped her car onto the street.

“She was scared. I’m sure of it.” Seth hopped into the passenger side of their pickup.

“Scared and lying through her teeth.” Aaron took his usual place behind the wheel. “But why? If something’s gone wrong, why wouldn’t she tell us?”

“I don’t know, but I’m damn sure going to find out.”

Aaron waited, his arm over the back of the seat as another car eased out of the visitor parking space, moving their car behind them.

“Do you think it’s that same guy that bothered her before?” He hated to think she was being harassed and not telling them. Hadn’t they earned her trust? He’d thought they had, especially after last night.

“There’s no way to tell until she pipes up and says so.”

Aaron was right, but that didn’t make him accept it any easier. “I bet the asshole cornered her again. Damn. I bet if we’d arrived two minutes earlier, we would’ve caught him. Then I could’ve had the satisfaction of ramming his head into the wall.”

“I get how you feel, but keep your head about you. Until she decides to tell us, we need to keep watch over her.”

“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Yeah. Let’s ask Cap for some time off.” Seth scanned the road in front of them. Although he didn’t expect to see her car since she’d left earlier than they had, that didn’t keep him from hoping.

A gut feeling grabbed hold of him and wouldn’t let go. Lonnie Vinson was bad news.

Beth had never been happier. She laughed when she caught her expression in the mirror by the front door of her apartment and saw the brilliance of her smile. Why shouldn’t she be grinning ear to ear? Not only had she found the two greatest men to love, but they’d taught her the joy of being their submissive. Accepting that she’d had the urge to be a sub already inside her had opened up a whole new world to her. She dressed less conservatively now, loving the idea of showing off her body, a body that her men had taught her to appreciate. Her confidence around others had grown, even to the point of not worrying what the office snitch Agnes would tell their boss. Instead of feeling mistreated or demeaned, she’d learned how to give up control and how to give them pleasure. Becoming their sub had given her a new outlook on life. She was stronger and better since she’d met them.

Seth and Aaron would arrive any minute. She’d thought about the upcoming night all day long and had even gotten caught daydreaming at the office. Instead of worrying that she might lose her job, she’d laughed it off, surprising both Georgie and Agnes. After work, she’d rushed to the grocery store, then had hurried home to stock her refrigerator with the men’s favorite brand of beer. The homemade enchiladas she’d prepared were still warming in the oven as she’d taken extra time to do her makeup and hair.

Whenever thoughts of Lonnie and what had happened that morning came back, she thrust them away, determined not to let him ruin her happiness. Tomorrow, however, she’d finally talk to his grandfather and ask for his help.

But tonight was for her men and making love.

She’d gotten lucky. Lucky enough to find two men who cared for her as much as she
cared for them. The final shoot at the fire station had been amazing. She and Tyler had gone over the photos, then they’d sent the final product to a printer that Seth and Aaron had recommended. The printer, a woman, was paying them back for the help that another Firemen for Hire team had given her.

A knock on her front door had her grinning into the mirror again. Checking her makeup and hair one more time, she smoothed down the slinky red dress she’d purchased earlier on her lunch break and opened the door.

A hand covered her mouth before she could get out a scream.

  Chapter Ten

Lonnie grabbed her around the waist, keeping his other hand over her mouth. He shoved her back, then used his foot to shut the door behind them. It slammed closed, then bounced open.

  “It’s time, Beth. My time.”

She struggled, but wasn’t a match for his weight. Driving her backward, he pushed her over the end of her couch. She fell, and free of his hand, screamed as she landed on her back. Rolling her body to the side, she was halfway standing up and starting to run when he clutched a hunk of her hair and yanked her back down.

Again she screamed, but the sound was cut off as he got on top of her, raised his arm, and slapped her across the face. The world spun, flashing lights going off behind her eyes. Pain seared through her arms as he roughly yanked them above her head.

“Damn you. I told you I saw what you did. You did horrible, disgusting things. Now you have to pay.”

She gazed up at him, her mind a jumble, and tried to make sense of what he was saying. “Get off me.” Her words, however, came out in a mess of consonants and vowels that even she didn’t understand.

Yet when he yanked the bottom of her dress up to her waist, her mind became crystal clear. “Noooo! Lonnie, no.” Terror stole her strength from her when she felt his fingers slide under her panties, then tear them away.

“I’ve waited for you. I tried to do this the nice way. But no. You didn’t want to date me. Why, Beth? Am I not hot enough for you? Do I have to fight fires to get between your legs?” His laughter was a hysterical sound. “I guess not, huh? Yeah, it’s my turn now.”
