It made her a bit nervous, but she had her protector with her. They drove down the driveway, now trap rock instead of dirt. It curved through dense brush and trees until it came to a large clearing. It looked completely different from their first impression. The grounds were well cared for and the driveway curved into a large circle that brought them to the front of the house. But, you could hardly call it a house. A mansion was the correct word. It stood two stories high, made of stone that looked like they were piled by hand. There had to be twenty windows on each floor and that was just from the front. The mansion was painted a meticulous white with brown shutters. Off to one side was a garage with six doors on it, all of them were closed. In the distance was a big red barn with a fence around it. Two horses nibbled outside on the grass. “I didn’t expect this.”
“I can’t say I did either.” He got out of the car and walked around to open Sandy’s door. He couldn’t help but notice her long, naked legs as she got out. She noticed his look, too.
“It looks like I’ll have to satisfy my husband tonight,” she boldly stated.
“Yes, you will.” They both walked up to the door. There was a large, gold knocker in the center of it. William knocked, and it sounded so loud. William waited and expected a butler to answer it. He heard the footsteps and felt Sandy hook her arm in his, and she drew close to him. The door opened.
Vale heard the knock. It had been a while since that happened. He didn’t get many visitors out here, at least not many unexpected visitors. That was by design, not by chance. He was pleasantly surprised to see a couple standing on his porch. They weren’t salespersons, not the way they dressed, or at least not the salespersons that sold door to door. He wore a nice sport coat and slacks, but his eyes were drawn to the woman. She wore a blue suit, and it fit her body as though it was tailored just for her. The jacket was opened and the pearls around her neck drew his eyes to the white cleavage revealed. They were young, about thirty or so. “Yes, can I help you?” He was cordial; after all, he did love women.
William was surprised at the person that opened the door. He was dressed in a nice pair of slacks with a button-down shirt. He had to be in his early forties, but from the look of his manicure and his neatly trimmed hair, he wasn’t the butler. “I would like to see Vale Perdition, please.”
“Whom may I say is calling?” Vale tried to sound stuffy, but he wasn’t very successful.
“I’m Chancellor William Butler from Wexter University and this is my wife, Sandy.” He suspected this was Vale, but he didn’t say anything.
Sandy couldn’t believe how handsome he was. He had a dark complexion, a European look to him and he dressed impeccably. His body was firm and muscular, and he didn’t look like he had a drop of fat on him. She suspected that he was mid-forties, but it was hard to tell. He seemed to age well. He looked at her body, and she felt a pink glow on her face, a blush, though that had never happened to her before. It was when his eyes looked at hers that her heart began to flutter and her chest rose and fell as she struggled to fill her lungs. He had dark eyes, almost black, and they stared at her as if he could see her very soul and knew her thoughts. She hoped not, for they weren’t the thoughts a married woman should have. She moved closer to William and grabbed his arm tighter. The man at the door didn’t scare her; she scared herself.
“Come in.” He opened the door wider for them to enter but still didn’t say anything else. “Follow me.” He led them down the hallway to the library. He went slowly, so they could peer into the rooms as they passed them. He didn’t get many visitors. He ushered them into the library and to the two chairs in front of the large desk. He made sure that she sat in the chair on the right. That one gave him a better view of her. “I’m Vale Perdition.”
William began to sit down, but then Vale leaned over to Sandy and took her hand. His touch was soft but electrifying. He lifted her hand into the air, and she felt his lips kiss her hand so softly and sensuously, as though they were lovers. She’d never met a man that melted her body like this before. His lips lingered for long minutes before he finally moved away, but he continued to hold her hand.
“It’s good to meet you, Sandy. Such beauty hasn’t graced my house for years.” He turned to William, not wanting to leave him out. “Welcome, Chancellor Butler.” He addressed him more formally, but he still held Sandy’s hand. If only William wasn’t here. “Have a seat, Sandy.” He didn’t move away as she sat down. His eyes were on her legs as she sat down and her skirt rode up high. She didn’t seem to be flustered over his attentions as she slowly crossed her legs. In fact, she seemed to be in control, though he did catch a flutter in her lips. “Can I offer you something to drink? Coffee maybe?” He didn’t move away from Sandy.
“Coffee would be fine.” It was William that responded.
Vale held out his hand for Sandy. “Would you help me?” She put her hand into his and rose up again. He loved the way her hand slid over her buttocks to smooth down the skirt. He wished it were his hand that did it.
William was left there by himself as Vale and Sandy walked over to a large cupboard along the wall. It was uncomfortable for him to turn his head, and it would look like he didn’t trust them together, so he looked around the library in front of him.
Sandy stood next to him while he poured three coffees from a silver pot.
“Cream or sugar?” He got the silver creamer and sugar dish.
“Cream only, I have to watch my figure,” she responded. He looked at her body, and she felt a tremor run through her.
“You do well at taking care of it. It’s flawless and statuesque.” His words often made women blush but not her. She took it in stride. He liked to see a woman comfortable with her sexuality and body.
“Thank you,” she said almost nonchalantly, although she had to control the slightest tremor in her voice. She made William’s and her coffee and turned to go back to the chairs. Vale hesitated for a second, and then, she felt it. She was sure that it happened and it wasn’t her imagination. A hand slid slowly and softly over her buttocks. She should’ve moved away, but she stopped as though she waited for him to finish. The hand wasn’t groping or crude. It was as though it explored her buttocks. Sandy felt something that she hadn’t since she married William. Her pussy got wet from the touch of a man that wasn’t her husband. She didn’t understand it. I’m happy with William, why would another man excite me? Only when the hand moved away did she start walking again. She was sure that he looked at her ass as she walked. It was difficult for her to move naturally. She felt as though she swung her hips and ass to attract his attention or his hand again. She handed William his coffee. She turned to put her coffee down and saw Vale stand over her on the other side of her chair. His gaze went to the front of her blouse as she bent down to put her coffee on the table. She knew that her blouse spilled open, but she did it slowly. When she stood up, Vale continued to stare at her as he put his coffee on the desk, but he didn’t move away. She sat down as he watched her every move, as if she did it for him. When she crossed her legs, he moved a bit closer. She stared into his eyes as he learned over.
“Thank you for helping me, Sandy.”
Just the way he said Sandy, sent shivers through her body, but then, she saw his hand move. She watched it as it moved to her leg, her naked leg. She was sure that he could smell her heat when his hand lay so casually on her naked leg as though he possessed her. She struggled not to uncross her legs and part them so he could touch her inner thigh. It was long, silent minutes before he moved his hand away and sat behind the desk.
They acted as though William wasn’t there. Vale put his hand on Sandy’s leg. She didn’t say a word. He knew that she wouldn’t offend him. This was too important for his career and their life together. Finally, Vale sat down and took a sip of his coffee.
“So, what can I do for you, William?” But his eyes switched back and forth between Sandy and William as if at any minute she’d uncross her legs and spread them so he could see the d
ark, mysterious place beneath her skirt.
William had practiced this for weeks, the last couple of days in front of Sandy. She knew it by heart. William was good, knowing just the right buttons to push, but with Vale, it was difficult. He knew nothing of him, only that he might have kids. But, he never saw a wife. Still, he was undaunted and continued to talk. Vale listened intently, at least most of the time. His eyes would go back to Sandy every once in a while. It wasn’t that William could fault his good taste in women.
Vale became interested as William spoke about the university. He began to think of the future for his kids. He was a private person and wanted to make sure that his kids had the same privacy. They were all extremely intelligent; their background guaranteed that. Wexter University wasn’t up to the caliber that he’d expect his children would need. The only thing it had going for it was the location.
Finally, William finished his spiel. Vale had asked many questions, and he was sure that he had children, though they weren’t of college age, at least not yet.
“I like you, William, both of you, Sandy, too. But, I’m not so sure about Wexter University. I have four children, three boys, and one girl. They are all about the same age. I adopted them a year ago, and I homeschool them. They need a first-rate university, but Wexter doesn’t fill the bill. But, they are young; they won’t need the school for about twelve or thirteen years.”
“I realize that,” William interrupted him. “But, I can make it into something that it’s not now. We need to change the caliber of students that apply, and I need to find donors that will support my aggressive program to make the facilities and educators up to the caliber needed.”
Vale pulled his checkbook out of the desk. He opened it and wrote out the check. He saw them both look at him as he did it. He tore the check out of the book. “Take this. Come back to me in a month and tell me what you’ll do with it.”
William took the check and looked at the amount, one hundred thousand dollars. He never saw that much money before, though it paled in comparison to what he needed for his vision. “That’s very generous of you. Might I suggest that you join our board?”
“I want to see what you can do before I put my name behind you.” He stood up. The meeting was over.
William and Sandy knew that they’d succeeded beyond expectations. They hoped to raise money from him but never expected it to be today. They thought it would be a long, hard battle. Vale came around the desk and stuck out his hand. William shook it with a firm grip. “We’ll talk in a month. Thank you for your confidence in me.” But, he’d already turned to Sandy and his hand was extended to her. He didn’t shake her hand but kissed it as he did before, staring into her eyes as he did. His lips stayed on her hand for so long and neither of them moved to break the kiss.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Sandy. I hope when I talk to William in a month that you’ll join us. I’d welcome a woman’s opinion.” He hated to release her hand, but he did. He showed them both out, letting William out the door first. Sandy passed by him, but then, she stopped. He took advantage of it as his hand slid over her buttocks. She’d stopped on purpose. He felt her buttocks quiver as she flexed her muscles. She had a nice, firm ass, his hand squeezed it firmly before he released it and she continued to walk out. William turned around, but he didn’t notice a thing. Sandy was cool and collected.
William talked excitedly all the way home. The farther she got away from Vale and the house, the more ashamed she was of the way she acted. It was so out of character for her, but it was as though she couldn’t refuse him. His black, soul-searching eyes mesmerized her. She hoped the next time she met him she’d be able to control herself.
That night after they made love, Sandy lay in bed while William slept. She couldn’t get the way she acted with Vale out of her head. She’d let him fondle her ass, not just once but twice. She couldn’t get the touch of his hand on her body out of her mind. Why did I let him do that to me? It was as though I had no control over my body when he was near.

William and she discussed the money that Vale gave the university. The board was excited at the gift, but William knew it wasn’t enough to make a dent in his vision. He needed more, much more.
“I think fifty thousand dollars should go to scholarships for deserving people that live in the area. The other fifty thousand should go to buying new equipment for the science department. It won’t buy much, but anything will help.”
“If you think that’s best, William, I support you.” He was the chancellor, so he knew best.
“I’ll invite Vale to the campus to meet us next week. Hopefully, he’ll see the campus and our needs and might donate a bit more next year.” It was going to be a long time for him to get his vision of the university, but at least this was a start.

Vale hardly frequented the town, never mind the university, but when William offered his invitation and said that Sandy would be there, he couldn’t deny himself the pleasure of seeing her again. William stated that Sandy would be there explicitly. He’d seen his interest in his wife and had used her to get what he wanted from Vale. That was a good sign for the future.
When he drove on the campus, it was every bit as dismal as he expected. The students looked like they were still in high school and were ready to go home after class and plow a field before they did their homework. It wasn’t the place that he’d send his children. They deserved better. They deserved the best. He was ushered into William’s office and was glad to see Sandy sitting on the couch to the side of William’s desk. There was only one chair in front of his desk. She wore another suit, this time a lovely pink but just at tight, and she left just as much leg revealed as before, maybe a bit more. He noticed she didn’t wear stockings to mar the beauty of her legs. She wore a pullover beneath the jacket, but it was pushed open, so he could see her firm breasts pushed out so eloquently. He hated that there was no naked cleavage to capture his eyes, but he wasn’t disappointed. He stared into her eyes and then looked at her breasts again. He was surprised. The tips of both breasts were tipped with hard nipples that weren’t there seconds ago. He looked back into her eyes and saw her bite her lower lip as she trembled. Her legs rubbed together softly. He walked over to her first, bent down, and took her hand to kiss it but not before he touched her naked leg. He felt her flesh quiver beneath his touch. Her skin was soft and silky, but he finally pulled away to kiss her hand. When he pulled his lips from her hand, he left a trace of wetness behind. “It’s good to see you again, Sandy. William’s lucky to have such a ravishing woman as his wife. I hope he appreciates his good fortune.”
“It’s good to see you, Vale.” She didn’t show it, but her body trembled the minute he looked at her, as if he knew that she was excited by his touch.
“Have a seat, Vale. Can I get you anything?”
“No, I have everything I want now,” he stated as he turned his chair so he could see Sandy at the same time as William.
If Vale was enamored with his wife, so much the better. “I’m glad you got a chance to see our campus. Can I ask your assessment?”
“Tell me your plans for my donation first, and then, we can discuss your campus more.”
William laid out his plans for the donation, from the scholarships to the new science lab equipment. “Wexter University likes to give back to the community so the scholarships will help some deserving students have a better life. Our science lab will have enough equipment to allow each student to have access at the same time instead of sharing. I… we think it’s the best use of your donation.”
“My donation is yours, William, but I don’t think your use of it is in the best, long-range interests of the university, at least as far as I’m concerned.”
“Why do you say that?” Is my first and best donor about to walk out the door forever?
“If I thought this university was suitable for my children, or at least would be in the future, I might consider more. But from what I sa
w of the students and the facilities, bringing in more students that don’t meet high rigors and teaching them with inadequate facilities is not a way to make the university a place that students and their parents would fight to get them accepted. Mediocracy only breeds more mediocracy.”
“I’m sorry you feel that way, Vale. The university could’ve used your support.” William felt so let down after being up.
Sandy saw it slip away from William. She had to do something. Vale was his best chance, and she wouldn’t let it walk out the door. “We need a new science building with state of the art equipment, along with six new faculty members and a chair for the department. I suspect the science building, fully equipped, would cost about three million dollars, give or a take a million. The faculty would cost about three-quarters of a million the first year, but as the university increases in stature, professors will begin to fight to teach here, so the initial pay will go down, not up. We can start a building fund, since it will take at least a year to complete, if not more, but in order to get the ball rolling, we’d need a million dollar donation from you. I expect that you have many friends that have the wherewithal, and using your skills, you could entice them to join you in this endeavor. Once that happens, it’ll make it easier to get others onboard. Success breeds success.”
“I don’t think that Vale–” William was interrupted by Vale.
“Let her continue, William. It seems that Sandy is every bit as intelligent as she is beautiful.” Vale looked over at her. She had uncrossed her legs when she leaned forward to talk and her legs were parted slightly. He looked down and could see nothing but darkness, but she gazed into his eyes and made no attempt to close them.
“William will start a recruitment program to get higher-quality children to apply. He can use our expected top-rated facilities to coax them to apply. I’m sure that William will find that by raising the tuition, it will not only increase revenue, but also drive students to us with parents that are willing to part with the money for a first-rate education. This will lower the rate of local students we serve so new dormitories will have to be planned for this influx of students that don’t live in the area. While the idea of giving back to the community is noble, the success of the community would be much more served if the university doubled or tripled in size within three years. Which, in my estimation, is very plausible.”
