Hush - Fighting Fate #2
Page 33
Placing my hands behind my back, I slowly leant forward until my entire chest was lying across the kitchen counter. It was cool, but it felt incredible against my aching nipples.
Then I felt cold metal snap around my wrists. Holy mother of all that was hot! He freaking cuffed me! My pussy was aching so badly now. I needed him to touch me.
“Spread your legs wider,” he commanded.
I did.
Then I heard the rustling of material and the unmistakable sound of a zipper opening. I whimpered.
When I felt the warmth of his cock slide between my legs, I didn’t even bother trying to hold back my moan. It was pure heaven.
Then his hands were gripping my hips and he was inside me. He started slow, tormenting, stroking over my G spot with extraordinary precision. I gasped with the intensity of it, clenching myself around him, and then he started moving faster, building up a relentless, pounding rhythm that pushed me harder and harder.
I was so close. It was just trembling there, just under the surface, waiting for the right time to explode and shatter me into a million pieces.
Noah pushed harder, faster, his breath growing frantic, tiny little groans escaping with each thrust inwards. His fingers gripped me tighter, pulling me against him as he slammed into me. Again and again.
I heard him choke, a garble of words I had no chance of deciphering, and then he was reaching around to stroke my clit with his fingers and I was coming undone.
He strained against me hard before his body jerked and he yelled out his release.
My body fell languid against the counter top, and my legs trembled like Jell-O. I sucked in breath after breath, trying in vain to catch it, but it just wasn’t happening. Noah’s body leaned lightly against my ass, that one hand still pressed against my clit, and the other one leaning firmly on the countertop beside my head. His breath was coming just as hard as mine and, I didn’t know if was in reaction to the tremors still gripping my body, but his cock kept twitching inside me.
Eventually he pulled out, making both of us shudder, and he carefully took off the handcuffs, softly smoothing his hands over my wrists where they’d been.
With hands just as gentle as the night before, he pulled me up, wrapping the robe back around me and turned me around to face him. Capturing my face with his hands, he leant in and placed a lingering kiss on my lips.
“You are so amazingly perfect,” he said with a reverence I didn’t quite understand. But then again, I thought he was amazingly perfect too. Maybe that’s what it was. A love so perfect, it only made sense to us.
“I love you, Noah,” I whispered.
His gaze darkened. “Move in with me,” he said.
I smiled at the question that wasn’t a question. “It’s too soon.”
“According to who?”
“People,” I said, caught off guard. “Our parents.”
“The only people’s opinions that matter to me when it comes to this relationship, is ours. Our parents can give us advice based on their life experiences, but at the end of the day, it’s our choice to make, and our choice to live with.”
I smiled at him softly. I loved his passion. “Okay, it’s too soon for me,” I said as kindly as I could.
He watched me for a while, his gaze assessing and thoughtful. While he sorted through his thoughts, I ran my hands over his chest, knowing I’d never get tired of his body.
Tightening his hands on my hips, he inhaled slowly. “You know you’ll be here almost every night over the summer anyway,” he countered.
God I loved him. “Probably.”
He sighed, looking a little defeated, but then his eyes sparkled and he shrugged. “Okay, but every time you stay here, you have to bring something with you, and it’s not allowed to leave.”
I laughed. How could I possibly say no to that? Stretching up to kiss him, I slid my arms around his neck. “Deal.”
Noah growled and swept me in for another kiss, this time slow and deep.
This was going to be the best summer ever.

Acknowledgements
I’m not one for rambling acknowledgements, so I’m going to make this nice and short and sweet.
Big, big thanks goes out to my four gorgeous children. I’ve never worked to a deadline before, and while I found it achievable, it was still hard, all-consuming work, and I didn’t have a lot of time for much else. But they were all very understanding and supportive, and I couldn’t have done it without them being the beautiful people they are.
I also have to thank my mum and her very supportive band of misfits, especially Pam, for all your encouragement and assistance. It’s nice to know I’m included in your weird group :P
Lastly, but obviously not by any means least (because everyone has to say that), thanks to my bestest friends and supporters, Kelli and Nick. You can always tell who your best friends are. They’re the ones who tell you without pause when something just sounds shit. Love you guys. Your honesty is invaluable.
About Maree Green
Maree began writing as a hobby around ten years ago when she and her oldest son discovered the genius that is Harry Potter. As he grew, so did her style of writing, slowly progressing from stories of youth, to YA, and then to NA.
The decision to start taking her writing seriously was an easy one. She loved daydreaming, and if she could do it all day and call it a job then she was taking it.
When she’s not writing, she can be found playing taxi driver to her four children, reading, or if the kids are lucky, doing those horribly domesticated things like cooking and cleaning…
She currently lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
