Jessy waits until he pulls away. She then enters la casa going straight into her cuarto. Jessy is not thinking of her hermana Jacki. Jessy is thinking of how delicious Jose Enrique makes love. I will always want more of him.
The next morning Jessy enters the kitchen to have some coffee. Mama Rosa is in the kitchen cooking breakfast.
“Buenos dias, Mama,” said Jessy striding over to hug her mama.
“Mi hija, buenos dias, you look excited today,” said Jessy’s mama Rosa.
“Si mama, I’m really excited about selecting mi wedding dress. I also want you to get a beautiful dress. I want you to wear a soft pink. I want Jose Enrique’s madre to wear a soft blue. What do you think?” asks Jessy with a dreamy smile.
“Si, mi hija, whatever you want,” said mama Rosa smiling at her.
“Mi hija did you y Jacki enjoyed yourself last night?” asks mama Rosa. “I know that you both arrived home late, and I haven’t seen Jacki. I think she’s still sleeping. You know she never goes out. I don’t know if she will ever meet someone.”
“Oh, mama, Jacki is bella. I know she will meet someone in her own time. Maybe she has already met her prince,” said Jessy serving her cup of coffee. “It is still early. It is only 8:30. We should let her sleep a little longer, okay? I will wake her at 9:30, so she can get ready to go to the bridal stores.”
Jessy finishes her shower and dresses. I need to wake Jacki, it’s getting late. She needs to have breakfast and a shower.
Good thing that I called las chicas and asked to move our shopping to one instead of ten. Of course they were okay with that since we were all out last night at the club. That was so much fun. Too bad Jacki came back early, thought Jessy walking into Jacki’s cuarto. “Jacki, wake up. You need to get ready,” said Jessy looking for her. Huh, she’s not here, maybe she’s already up and ready. I must have missed her when I was taking a shower. Walking down the hall and looking for Jacki in the kitchen.
“Mama, where is Jacki? She is not in her cuarto. I thought she would be out here having breakfast,” asks Jessy, looking at her mama.
“No mi hija, she has not come out yet for breakfast. Are you sure she is not in her cuarto?” asks her mama Rosa.
“Let me help you look for her mi hija. You take the other half of la casa and will take this side,” said mama Rosa as she stands up to look around the casa. “Jacki mi hija, where are you?” calls out mama Rosa.
Meeting up in the living cuarto, Jessy calls her papa on his cell. “Papa have you seen Jacki? Do you know if she went out early today?” asks Jessy.
Jessy’s papa is at the store on an errand. “No, mi hija, I think that Jacki is still sleeping. Why? I will be there in a few. I was just leaving the parking lot. I will be there in a few.” he said.
“Si papa” said Jessy turning to her mama Rosa.
“Mama I’m going to call Jose Enrique, okay?” said Jessy. I don’t want mi mama to know that Jacki can be with Ricky and if she is, that is not good news, thought Jessy.
“Hola, mi vida. Buenos dias,” said Jessy. “Do you know where Ricky is? Jacki is not en casa,” said Jessy in an anxious tone.
I can hear that Jessy is very desperate, thought Jose Enrique.
Jessy went out in the driveway so her mama wouldn’t hear her.
“Are you serious? I am going to kill him! He knows better than to play with nice chicas. Mi amor, I will call you back, okay?” said Jose Enrique in a very frustrated voice.
“Okay, mi vida. I will be waiting for your call,” said Jessy very concerned.
Jose Enrique quickly calls his primo. Ricky is going to die today. If I don’t kill him, la familia will.
“Buenos dias, primo, what’s up?” said Ricky, trying not to laugh. Ricky has always been the fun-loving, carefree, and playful one among the primos.
“You know very well what’s up. Where are you? I know Jacki is with you. She is not at her casa. How could you? You’re going to make mi vida miserable. I’m going to kill you when I get ahold of you. The entire familia is going to be pissed off at you. How do you think her padres feel?” said Jose Enrique with frustration. He is trying to take control of his anger.
“Si, primo, I know her padres must be worried. We are on our way, okay? We will be there in about forty minutes,” said Ricky glancing at his watch. “Have you talked to mis padres? Do they know? We will be at Jacki’s casa. I need to talk to her padres. I want mis padres to come later to talk to her padres. Can you tell mis padres? Please?” asks Ricky.
“I was supposed to ask for Jessica’s mano this evening with mis padres. I hope you didn’t ruin it for me. I will kill you, Ricky,” said Jose Enrique with frustration. “Jessy called me, asking if I know if Jacki is with you, that she’s not at her casa,” said Jose Enrique. “Jacki has lived a very sheltered life, primo. She’s not the type to play with, and she deserves the storybook wedding.”
“I know primo. We will marry in a church ceremony, I promise. I’m not playing,” said Ricky with urgency.
“I will be there when you arrive at Jacki’s casa. I will try to keep la familia back until this is resolved, okay?” said Jose Enrique. “See you in a few.”
I have to call Jessy to let her know what is going on. Maybe we can control this before it gets out of hand and explodes. “Mi amor, Ricky y Jacki are together. Ricky said that they will be there in a few. I am heading out to your casa. Wait until I get there. Try to keep tus padres from knowing. We have to take control of this situation before it explodes,” said Jose Enrique with urgency.
Jose Enrique drives over to Jessy’s casa, hoping to get there in time before they confronted Jessy’s padres. I need to know what happen. How can we take care of it? How will it affect mi relationship with Jessy? I will kill Ricky.
Ricky turns off the carro walks around to assist
Jacki out of the carro. Ricky pulls her close for a quick beso. Just in case it’s a while for mi next beso, thought Ricky. Ricky didn’t hear Jose Enrique pull up and get out of his carro.
“Well, I can see you’re getting along just fine,” said Jose Enrique. “Don’t you think we need to take care of this nice hot issue that you caused las familias Ricardo?”
Yeah, Jose Enrique is pissed. He turns to look at his primo smiling. Ricky pulls Jacki to his side wrapping his brazo around her waist “Primo, I have the extreme pleasure of introducing mi bella esposa,” said Ricky smiling with pleasure.
Jose Enrique just stands there and blinks. Is Ricky for real? Is mi primo loco? He then looks at Jacki, and she looks feliz, even if she is blushing. She is wearing a wedding ring. Did they elope to Vegas?
“Si, primo we got married in Vegas last night at three in the morning to be precise,” said Ricky with a felicidad.
You can see his felicidad thought Jose Enrique turning to look at Jessy. Jessy is coming out of la casa and she looks upset. Oh boy, I don’t know how they will take this news.
“Jacki, where were you?” asks Jessy as she approaches the carros. Observing Jacki, and how close y possessive Ricky is holding her.
Jacki y Ricky look real feliz, but still, she cannot just go around sleeping with los muchachos. She knows better.
Before Jessy can ask any more questions, “Mi amor, Ricky y Jacki eloped to Vegas and got married last night,” explains Jose Enrique.
Jose Enrique is looking at his bella novia for any reaction hoping to gain insight on how her padres will take it. I can see anger, confusion, and finally feliz. Whew! What a relief.
“I don’t know what to say. Jacki is this something you wanted to do?” asks Jessy. “I’m a little confused. Have you guys been seeing each other? What’s up?” asks Jessy.
“We need to get the facts straight before we enter that casa and inform your padres of the marriage. Look, I know you two were not going out, so don’t go there. I strongly recommend that you do say that you were going out without anybody’s knowledge. You get it?” asks Jose Enrique.
“Si, baby I think we should. Mis padres will be real upset with the truth,” said Jacki looking at Ricky.
“Okay, it sounds like a plan. I need all the help we can get. We did have a lovely wedding in Vegas, didn’t we mi reina?” said Ricky. “But we are going to make plans to marry quickly in the church ceremony.”
“Si, Jessy, we had a lovely wedding. Ricky bought me a beautiful wedding dress that I will also be using for the church wedding. Look at mi wedding rings. Aren’t they beautiful? Ricky and I selected them. It has been wonderful,” said Jacki, smiling with felicidad.
Jacki is glowing with felicidad. Jessy and Jose Enrique can see that both of them are ecstatic. Wow, who would have known that this would have happen, nobody, not in a million years?
“Jessy, I hope you will help us with our padres. I am not a little niña anymore. I knew full well what I was doing. I wanted to marry Ricky and I love him. That is just the way it is,” said Jacki, looking at Jessy.
Ricky is not letting her go. I can see that, sensed Jessy. “Okay, Jacki. Even if you did get married in Vegas, you know that our padres want the church ceremony wedding and will not allow you to live with him until then. You two know how our customs work. So I suggest you two get used to the idea of not living together until the church ceremony takes place,” said Jessy. “You know how old school are padres are.”
“Yeah, I agree with Jessy. You better get used to that idea, Ricardo. You’re not taking her home with you. Got it?” said Jose Enrique, looking into his frustrated ojos.
Ricky looks really frustrated and pissed off, clenching his jaw. You can see his anger and his flexing of jaw muscles. No way, she’s mia. I want her always at mi lado. I need her.
He looks really miserable, thought Jose Enrique. He feels that it is just punishment and then he grins.
“That’s not funny primo,” growls Ricky. He is looking at his primo with frustration and controlled anger.
“I don’t make the rules. Her padres do, you will see,” said Jose Enrique taking Jessy’s mano they walk toward la casa with a huge grin.
Jessy is trying not to laugh either. I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be not being able to love each other at will.
Jose Enrique is grinning with a wicked twinkle in his ojos. I know want drove mi primo to marriage. Just one sweet taste and that is all it takes. I should know; it is pure heaven.
They walked inside la casa. They dealt with the new events. Jessy’s padres took their marriage better than expected. The wedding ceremony at the church is a requirement that Senor Cortez demands from Ricky to take place immediately. Ricky didn’t have any issues with that. The church ceremony wedding is in his immediate plans.
Ricky asks if it is okay to take Jacki to meet his padres. Senor Cortez did not have any issues with that. The only issue that el Senor Cortez has, is that he will not allow them to live together until the wedding ceremony at the church takes place. Period!
Jose Enrique is observing his primo. I know mi primo really well, and I can see that he is in love. Without even knowing he is in love, mi reina? That says it all. Why else would he rush to marry her if not because he is anxious to keep her? Ricky y Jacki left to go and meet with Ricky’s padres.
Jose Enrique needs to get going to run some errands. Jessy needs to go get her wedding dress ordered. “Okay, mi amor, I need to run. I have some errands I need to take care of,” said Jose Enrique. “See you later,” Jose Enrique walks out the door to leave.
Jessy follows him out, she walks over to Jose Enrique before he enters his carro, “Mi vida, I think that you should get ahold of tus padres and tell them what has happen. We need to adjust the time for all the padres to meet. I don’t know if going out to dinner will be a good idea. The issues are a little stronger. I’m supposed to go to the store to select mi wedding gown today. Hmmm, maybe I should get my dress in Vegas since it is so simple.” Jessy grins, looking at Jose Enrique.
“Okay, mi amor. I will call you later. Let me know if you don’t find a dress at the store. We can drive to Vegas and get you one, okay?” said Jose Enrique, smiling at Jessy.
“Si, mi vida, later,” said Jessy pulling him close for one quick beso.
Jose Enrique opens the door. On the carro floor were Jessy’s panties he took off last night. He got muy feliz. He picks them up quickly and puts them against his cara. Oh yeah, that’s mi amor sweet essence. I want some. He then puts them away in his pants pocket for safe keeping. He starts the carro and drives off.
CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
“PATY, MAMA, DON’T YOU THINK this one is beautiful? I just love it. It is just like I always dreamed,” said Jessy as soon as she saw the wedding dress. She strides toward the store attendant. “I will like to try this one on, please.”
“Oh, si, amiga, it is beautiful. I cannot wait until I’m the bride looking for mi dress,” said Paty with felicidad. Paty starts to look around the store at the dresses that are on display.
“Mi hija, that dress is going to look lovely on you,” said mama Rosa with a huge smile.
Jessy is feliz looking around at the store displays.
“Paty, are Bella, Erica, and las bebes on their way?” asks Jessy.
“Si, amiga, they are running a little late. Something has happen. They said that they will tell me when they get here,” said Paty pulling out dresses.
Oh yeah, I bet there is a big uproar at Ricky’s casa. I wonder if it is a good or a bad uproar. I know it was not very pleasant for mis padres to have Jacki elope. The good thing is that they know that Ricky is a good hombre and has every intention of marrying Jacki at the church.
“Jessy, where is Jacki? I know she is going to be a bridesmaid, so where is she?” asks Paty with curiosity.
“Paty, Jacki didn’t come because she is with Ricky at tus tio’s casa. Paty, Ricky y Jacki eloped last night to Vegas and got m
arried,” said Jessy with a smile, looking at her best amiga reaction.
She has a huge grin on her cara, enjoying announcing the big news of the day. “Now you know why tus primas are late,” said Jessy.
“You know that tu mama couldn’t make it today,” said Jessy. She is enjoying this. Jessy is finding Paty’s expressions hilarious. I have never seen Paty so astonished before.
“That is unbelievable. What’s up with that? Have they been seeing each other and nobody knew?” asks Paty, looking at Jessy for some info.
“Amiga I believe so. We really don’t know. All we know is that they showed up this morning just as we realized Jacki was not en casa. Ricky y Jacki looked really feliz,” said Jessy. “That is why Jacki is not here. I will order her bridesmaid dress in mi size. I am just a little bigger in the chest than Jacki is.”
“Really, how exciting! They eloped,” said Paty. “Did they get photos? Did Ricky make the wedding as nice as possible?” asks Paty with a huge smile.
“Si, Paty. Ricky bought Jacki un hermoso wedding gown and really precioso wedding rings. They said they were going to get married by the church as soon as possible. Jacki will be wearing the same wedding gown. Mi mama and I were looking at it before we left la casa. It really is un hermoso wedding gown,” said Jessy.
“This is so exciting. I never would have believed that Ricky would just take off and get married. Ricky has been the playboy of todos los primos,” said Paty grinning.
“Paty, Ricky looks really feliz. He looks like he didn’t want to let go of Jacki, not even for a minute,” said Jessy with a grin.
Erica listens to the conversation on her way to where they are and grins. “Hi, sorry I’m late,” said Erica with a huge smile flashing her dimples.
Jessy and Paty turn to look at Erica. “Prima have you heard the news about Ricky y Jacki eloping to Vegas?” asks Paty all excited.
Erica is almost laughing with joy. This is so much fun. Yeah all the exciting events that have transpired within the last twenty four hours is causing an uproar.
“Si, prima I did. Gabriel and I ran into them at the priest’s office about an hour ago. They were making arrangements for their wedding. Ricky y Jacki look muy feliz,” said Erica almost laughing out in glee.
