But what is good fortune? What is success?
Yes, what is success?
I, Head Chef Mlantushi, would vacillate no further. I would take the blessing.
Acknowledgements
A novel’s characters, dialogue, scenarios and locations are invented for the purpose of the fiction, but an author takes tesserae of experience to create the mosaic of the novel. Thank you to both people and places that have gifted me those pieces. Some of the menus that Mozzy creates are to be found in Sarah Lilford’s delightful book, Dusty Road. Thank you to the editors, book groups and writers who have given precious advice, especially to those who have encouraged me to write with humour.
