Very Bad Things Page 7

“Damn, Fiona, what the hell are you doing to me?” He had never felt so out of control before. Tonight wouldn’t be about romance and going slow. He needed her now. Ryker needed to mark her in every possible way, have his handprints and bruises marring her body, his teeth marks covering her flesh. And by the way she ground her ass against him, made sweet little sounds of lust, and smelled so hot, there was no doubt in his mind she would give it all to him.

“Please, Ryker. I need it.” Arms stretched out in front of her, she braced herself on the cushions and moaned.

Yeah, he’d give it to her all right, give it to her until she screamed his name over and over again. The scent of her desire was like a punch to his cock. He felt the damn thing swell even further between his thighs. Placing his dick at the center of her pussy, he slid his length up and down her cleft, wetting himself with her cream. And then he surged forward. A gasp left her, and he grunted as her muscles clamped down, drawing him deeper inside. Hands on her hips, Ryker started pounding in and out of her, faster and harder, trying to get as deep as he could.

“I want all of you Fiona. All of you, dammit.” He growled and thrust into her. Her ass shook from the force and the sounds she made. Christ, the sounds she made had his balls drawing up tight to his body. He didn’t want to come yet, not until she screamed his name, not until she knew who she belonged to. “Tell me you’re mine. Tell me I own you.”

“I’m yours, Ryker. Oh God yes. I belong to you.”

Sweat dripped down from his hairline, and he felt her come around his cock. The extra lubrication had his dick sliding in and out of her slick pussy with so much ease he couldn’t stand it. He pulled back, watched his shaft sink in and out of her cunt, her cream coating the length. Seeing his erection glisten with her pussy juice was hot as hell, and he worked himself deeper, harder inside of her. She came again, incoherent words spilling from her mouth as the pleasure stole her.

“That’s two, Fiona. Give me one more.” He fucked her like his life depended on it, and groaned out when she came once again. Yeah, this was what it was about. This was how it was supposed to be.

She milked him dry, and he pulled out of her with a groan. The image before him had his cock hard again, ready to go round two. Her legs spread, her cunt pink and swollen and dripping wet with her cream and his cum, was a sight that he would never forget. It was an image that was burned into his damn brain. He palmed her tight ass. Spreading the cheeks, he looked down at the center. The tight hole of her ass beckoned him, and his cock swelled further, filling with blood until he thought it would explode.

Bending over slightly, he ran his tongue up her back, licking the saltiness from her sweat off her spine. “I want to fuck your ass again, baby.”

  She shivered.

Snaking one of his hands around, he found her clit and rubbed it back and forth.

  “Oh, God.”

Ryker ran his finger up and down her slit, gathering her moisture until his fingers were drenched with their combined fluids. He pulled back and spread the slicked up digits over her anus. He worked first one, and then two fingers into her ass. Letting go of her ass cheek, but still keeping his fingers buried inside of her, he gathered more of her cream and his pre-cum and spread it over his cock. When his dick was good and lubed he removed his fingers and pressed the tip of his dick at her anus. Once his dickhead popped through the tight ring of muscle he slid home. He was careful to go nice and easy, but damn she felt good.

“Damn.” Buried balls deep inside of her, he pressed his chest to her back and breathed out. She clenched around him, and he grunted. Pulling out until only the head of him was at the entrance, he pushed back inside slowly. He continued to apply their combined fluids to his shaft as he fucked her. He felt his balls slap against her moist pussy, and her cries of pleasure filled his ears. He started moving faster, feeling his orgasm rearing up fast.

Reaching in front of her and finding her clit, he stroked it swift and hard. She cried again before her back bowed and she came on a long, loud moan. That was it, all it took for him to get off. His cum shot out, filling her ass.

She was his. All. Fucking. His. He sagged against her, spent yet deliriously sated. There was no going back. He pulled out of her, scooped her limp body into his arms, and headed down the hallway to his room. When he had his woman on the bed, he got a wet, warm washrag from the bathroom and cleaned her up. He might be a bastard and a killer, but he knew how to take care of what was his. Ryker settled in next to her, and with the blankets over them he pulled Fiona in close to his body. It was a good feeling having her near, one that made everything right in his fucked up world. For the first time in his life he fell asleep with the feeling of love and contentment surrounding him, and the woman he would die for close.

  Chapter Fifteen

Fiona groaned, stretching out her muscles that were screaming from their use. Her ass was on fire from the fucking Ryker had given her last night. Lying still on the bed, she was aware he wasn’t beside her. Where was he?

She stayed quiet and heard him in the kitchen. The scent of food cooking filled the room, making her mouth water and her stomach growl. She was so hungry, but she didn’t move right away. Her bladder was begging for her to relieve herself.

Instead, she stayed still listening to Ryker cook and feeling her body and the new muscles she used when she was around him. Her pussy was aching as he wasn’t a small man nor was he a man who took his time to allow her to become accustomed to the feel of him. Her ass ached in the most delightful of ways. He’d told her to beg him to make it hurt, and she had. What was wrong with her? She never liked pain and would usually do everything to avoid it.

Ryker made her crave the pain that he could create. His pain led to the most amazing pleasure.

Climbing off the bed, she stopped as she caught sight of her reflection in the mirror across the room. Bruises from the tips of his fingers decorated her hips. They stood out in contrast to her pale skin. Stepping closer to the mirror, she ignored her fat hips and thighs. Pressing a finger to the bruise, she wondered why she wasn’t afraid.

He’s not going to kill me.

She turned to look at the other side of her.

“I think you look beautiful with my marks on your body,” Ryker said, jerking her out of her thoughts. She stepped away from the mirror feeling like she’d been caught doing something wrong.

  “Ryker,” she said.

He wasn’t wearing a shirt, and her gaze landed on his rock hard chest. Every part of him was perfect, and he turned her on, even the scar on his face. She fisted her hands at her sides as she stared at him. He moved closer toward her until he stood in front of her. Fiona looked up at his dark eyes.

Without saying another word, he gripped her arm and spun her to face her reflection.

“You look beautiful.” He pulled some hair off her neck, revealing the hickey from his lips. She couldn’t even remember him kissing her neck. He had touched every part of her so thoroughly that she couldn’t focus on anything else other than his touch. Ryker ran his hands over her body, cupping her breasts within his hands. He pressed his thick cock against her back, groaning. “I’ll leave bruises on your skin, but I can promise you, Fiona, I’ll never take it too far.”

She closed her eyes as he whispered the words against her head. The intimacy of the moment struck her hard. In a matter of hours her life had gone from shit to worse, to better. She probably shouldn’t trust Ryker, but he was no longer just in her head. Ryker was in her heart as well.

Crossing her legs, she groaned. “I need to use the bathroom.”

He chuckled. “Go to the bathroom. Join me in the kitchen.”

Nodding, she made her way into the bathroom. The intensity of his presence made it hard for her to focus on anything else but him.

She finished on the toilet, washed her hands, and discovered a second toothbrush still in its wrapper next to one of his. Picking it up, she was touched by what he’d done.

  “It
s just a toothbrush.”

He seemed to know everything she needed. It was insane to think of him caring about her. No, that was the wrong thought to have. Ryker did care about her. If he didn’t care about her then she would already be dead. He didn’t keep anyone around that he didn’t like.

She tore the packaging off the toothbrush and started brushing her teeth.

Ryker was humming in the kitchen. The sound seemed a little unnatural coming from him, but then she didn’t really know the real man he was supposed to be.

When she finished, she grabbed the bathrobe she saw hanging on a hook on the back of the door. She wrapped it around her then made her way toward the kitchen. Fiona stopped as she took in the sight of the small table. Two small roses sat at the left of each plate. A single white piece of tablecloth covered the table. She stared at the sight, struck by how romantic it was.

“Take a seat,” he said, standing behind her. The curtains were open shining light into the room. It was no longer snowing but a thick layer could be seen on the roofs of other buildings.

He helped her under the table. The consideration he displayed again seemed out of place.

“Did you sleep well?” she asked, wanting to change her thoughts.

“Yes, I slept well. I didn’t want to wake you. You looked so peaceful.” He came back to the table, placing a mug of coffee on the opposite side of the table. Her stomach tightened as she watched him work.

“Enjoy your coffee. Breakfast will be ready in a moment.”

Sucking her lips in to stop herself from speaking, she picked up her drink. She blew over the top of the drink to try to get it to a comfortable temperature.

He moved around the kitchen holding out pans. Ryker, like always, looked completely in control. Nothing fazed him at all with what he was doing. He moved toward her to start putting food on her plate. Fiona sipped her coffee, wishing there was something she could do to fill the sudden silence that had fallen upon them. He placed bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and toast onto her plate and onto his. She noticed his plate had more on it.

Ryker sat opposite her, bringing his coffee with him. “I thought you’d like a breakfast like this.”

She smiled. “I do. Erm, what is all of this about?”

  “What do you mean?”

“This is really nice and sweet.” She shook her head. “You know what, never mind.” Fiona picked up her fork and started to cut into the food on her plate. She didn’t know why she was nervous about the reason for him cooking breakfast.

They didn’t know much about each other, and she needed to keep reminding herself that she hadn’t been in his life for long. Last night he’d given her a chance to leave, and instead of taking it, she’d stayed behind for him to fuck. Was she looking for trouble?

No, she hadn’t been looking for trouble or for anything. Ryker had given her an option that she’d not wanted to take. The last thing she wanted to do was leave Ryker. He meant so much to her, and she didn’t want to lose what he’d given her.

He reached over the table to still her hand from eating more food.

“I made you some breakfast, Fiona. I wanted to do something special for you.”

“Why?” She frowned. Why the hell was she questioning him when he was doing something nice for her?

“Last night, I loved every second of what we had together. I didn’t go easy on you. From the moment we first met I’ve not gone easy on you.” Fiona couldn’t tear her gaze away from him. “I wanted to show you another side of me. I’m not just a monster who kills people. There is a lot more to me than that.”

She swallowed past the lump in her throat. Here he was doing something nice for her and she questioned it.

“Ryker, I don’t need you to do something nice for me,” she said.

He squeezed her hand gently. “This is what I wanted to do. I’m not just a monster, Fiona. There’s more to me than a gun.”

  Chapter Sixteen

“I’d like to take you somewhere today,” he said, holding her gaze with his own. They had finished eating just a few moments before, and she still looked uncomfortable because he had made her breakfast. He couldn’t blame her for feeling a little off kilter about his actions. This certainly wasn’t how he acted the majority of the time, and in fact he hadn’t acted like this for anyone in his life. But there was something different about her, something special that shook his perfectly controlled world, and eased the darkness in him.

She was his perfect masochist that yearned for the sadistic monster he held deep inside of his body, one that refused to give up control. He’d never change, not even for her, but it was clear she didn’t want him to change. He didn’t know what this was between them exactly. It wasn’t something that could easily be classified in terms of a label, but that wasn’t what bothered him. Would she freak as time went on, realize that the man she wanted, the one right in front of her, was indeed an evil bastard that hurt people to ease his monster inside, and also make a living?

“Where do you want to take me?”

“I thought you could use a little time away and enjoy some solitude after all the hectic shit that had happened in the last forty-eight hours.” He stood, grabbed her plate and empty coffee cup, and took them to the sink. He wasn’t the domestic kind of man, and he felt weird as hell for doing this for her. But truth was he needed to show her that he wasn’t all hatred and violence, that he could be the kind of man that she could be with, could trust.

“And where would that be?” she asked, and he could hear the slight amusement in her voice.

Turning and facing her, he smiled, feeling so strange because of the emotions that filled him. “I’d like to take you to a spot that I have gone to try to clear my head when the shitty things in my life refuse to leave.” He held his hand out, and when she stood and walked toward him, slipped her hand in his, and smiled, he knew there was a chance she could see past everything and be with him for good.

They had been driving for the last twenty minutes and were well outside of the city limits, but Ryker wanted her all to himself, and this place would offer them solitude. “You doing good, baby?” he asked, and reached over to grab her hand.

“Yeah,” she said, and he heard the solace in her voice. They were going to the small lake that Ryker had gone to on more than one occasion to clear his head. It was out in the middle of nowhere, deep within the forest that surrounded the city, and it would offer her a chance to clear her mind, too. This spot was quiet and the perfect place for them to spend some time together. He wasn’t about to talk about the past or the violence that he lived anymore. Now was the time that they would start over, and move forward.

He drove through the small back road trails of the mountains, down into the valley, and finally pulled off to the side and cut the engine. He was out of his vehicle first, and moved around to help her out of the passenger side. For several seconds all Ryker did was hold her. He then moved away and grabbed a blanket from the back of the car, and reached out to take her hand again. Ryker led them down the path that took them to the lake, and then laid the blanket on a smooth, flat large rock in front of the icy water. They sat side-by-side, neither saying anything, and both focusing on the water.

“It’s freezing out here,” she said and wrapped her arms around herself further. She wore a pair of his fleece pants, a sweater, and he had given her an oversized coat. She looked ridiculously adorable in them.

He turned and faced her after a few seconds, just staring at her. “I know, and we won’t stay out here long, but I wanted you to try to clear your head of all the shitty things that have happened so far.” He lifted his other hand and cupped her cheek. He ran his thumb along her skin, and she lifted her hand and placed it over his. It was strange to be able to feel someone’s emotions as strongly as if they were his own.

“I know this is going to sound crazy, but, Fiona, baby, I want you in my life.” He let go of her and faced the lake once more. It seemed like ages that they
sat there in silence, but it was a very comfortable, easy quietness. “The shit I’ve seen and done sometimes keeps me up at night, and so I come here, just close my eyes, and try to focus on nothing.” He faced her again. “But since you’ve come into my life, even after only a couple of days, I’ve realized that all the dark shit I’ve done doesn’t compare to the pure feelings I have for you.”

She smiled and glanced down at his lips. “Honestly, talking about all the bad stuff that happened doesn’t make me feel any better.” She faced the lake, and closed her eyes. For long moments they didn’t speak, and the content feeling that surrounded them was peaceful. “You’re right. It is very peaceful, and my thoughts are clearing.” She looked at him again. She pressed her lips to his, and then moved off of him. He was surprised at first, but when she started kissing him harder, with more passion, he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop.

Standing, scooping her up, and grabbing the blanket, he strode to the car again. The SUV was massive enough in the back that when he set her on the ground and spread the blanket down they could lie comfortably. Once she was sitting in the back of the SUV, he went to the front, started the engine, and cranked the heater. Then Ryker was in the back with her, kissing her hard and possessively, and not stopping until they were both so sated they couldn’t breathe.

He backed away long enough to remove her clothing, and arousal started to cover her expression. When she was naked in front of him it took him only a couple of seconds to get undressed, too.

  “God, it’s so cold.”

“I can warm you up, baby,” he said right beside her ear, and then in the next instant he had his arms wrapped around her waist and they were both lying on the blanket. Goosebumps popped out along her flesh, and he nuzzled her neck trying to warm her.

“I just want to start over with you.” She pulled back and looked up at him. Ryker stared at her for a few seconds before he leaned down and claimed her mouth. For long, drugging minutes all they did was kiss. He was so fucking hard against her belly, and a wave of arousal slammed into him, stealing his breath and making him want her with desperation. And then Fiona shifted so that she was straddling his waist, and cupped his face with her hands. The vehicle started to heat, and the goosebumps vanished from her flesh.
