“Hell, I’ve been beyond horny for a while now,” Rae admitted, whispering when there was no need to whisper. She nipped at Ellen’s ear earning a groan of her own.
Slowly Ellen ground down on her, her hand snaking between them to insert itself between their mons, she could feel the heat coming up off Rae’s body and her fingers eagerly sought the wetness she knew was there as well. Slick moisture greeted her fingers and she slid in easily.
“Ohhh,” Rae mouthed as she tried to keep herself concentrating on arousing Ellen and found herself losing the battle.
“Take it,” Ellen told her as her fingers slipped inside, bypassing the thick kernel of flash standing up and waving for attention. She curled her first two fingers and Rae came nearly undone at the sensation it caused. Using her thumb she gave the flesh outside a rub and was rewarded as her wife’s over heated body began to convulse at the combination. She leaned down to capture an erect nipple in her mouth, tonguing it fiercely as Rae arched, nearly throwing her off but her legs were locked around Ellen, holding herself to their position. It also enabled her to grind up on Ellen’s efforts with her rather nubile fingers and hand which only took a few more come hither motions and rubs with her thumb to make Rae come in convulsive twitches.
“Oh, oh, Ohhh,” she let out as she felt the waves come over her body. Her legs loosened as her body released itself from its spasmodic throes, it took a while for her to come down from the high and Ellen was delighted in causing this in her wife’s body.
Her wife! What an amazing feeling that was. Hers, not anyone else’s. They belonged to each other, forever. The feeling that gave her was indescribable. She had a hard time putting it into words in her head, it was almost a feeling of ownership, of proprietorship, of love that was overwhelming. She would have continued to make love to her wife if Rae hadn’t finally recovered enough to turn the tables on her.
“My turn,” she said delightedly as she began kissing Ellen senseless. Loving every moment of it she fully gave into her wife’s gratitude and mutual lust and let her have her body willingly. She kissed her way down Ellen’s petite body, relishing at the perfection she found in it. Each pert breast received lavish attention, from petting and squeezing to licking and a sucking sensation that had her capturing Rae’s chestnut covered hair and pulling her closer.
“Oh yes,” she agreed at Rae’s demands. She arched her body in supplication as she offered it to her to do anything she wanted to it. Rae didn’t disappoint.
Slowly she kissed down her body, her hands following sometimes, sometimes her lips following her hands. She made her way down until she was hovering sideways over Ellen’s manicured mons. Slowly she leaned down for a taste, the essence of Ellen’s lust telling her how aroused she already was. Her chin soon became inundated with her juices; her fingers probing told her that Ellen was gushing. She licked her way through the folds. Her tongue probing deeply.
Ellen swore there were new nerve endings between her legs, as Rae’s tongue went inside of her she could feel every small touch of that agile appendage that her wife possessed. Her mind was ready to explode from the sensations it was causing. As Rae pulled it out Ellen almost found herself pleading for more and was rewarded as Rae read her mind and thrust as deeply as she could with her tongue.
Reaching up she palmed Ellen’s breast, using her palm to warm it and then her fingers to tweak the erect nipple. Her other hand came into play as she reached around to palm Ellen’s butt cheek and pull it tightly to her body, helping to spread her legs for her body to settle between them. Her face was a mess with the copious juices covering them. Her tongue plunged over and over inside, lapping them up, nearly drowning her with the amount. Her nose unknowingly hit Ellen’s clit, sending her over the edge with the combination of her hands, tongue, and nose.
“Oh my gawddddd,” Ellen screamed into a pillow. Her hands didn’t seem to be able to reach Rae so she grabbed a pillow in order to feel something, anything of substance against her. Rae’s body angle made it impossible and as she came against her wife’s face she swore she saw stars behind her eyelids. The feeling of tingles spread throughout her body causing her toes to clasp tightly, her fingers clenched against the pillow, and her body arched. “Oh baby,” she cried as the waves continued. Mentally seeing what Rae was doing and looking down as she orgasmed she saw the mess her wife was from making her cum and it excited her more if that was possible. She closed her eyes again and let her body convulse against Rae’s face.
Rae smiled, her tongue staying in her mouth as she wiped her face against her wife’s thighs. First one side and then the other. She brought her hand up, she could tell her face had been full of the essence of her wife, she had cum so profusely. Slowly she climbed up Ellen’s prone body, kissing her way, and rubbing some of the essence off onto Ellen’s own skin. Before she got to Ellen’s lips she was smiling for making her wife feel this way.
“Happy?” Ellen asked her when she was face to face with her once again.
“Very,” she replied. She was exhausted. It had been a hectic last couple of weeks. “You?”
“Ecstatic,” Ellen replied holding her body against her, feeling the tingles of desire once again in her body. “I think we need a shower,” she mentioned.
“Too bad we don’t have the small RV shower anymore,” Rae teased in remembrance of their gymnastics in that small space.
“I can buy one of those anytime you say the word,” Ellen promised as she kissed her wife, because she could.
“Don’t you own several of those still?” Rae teased, knowing how many she still did own.
They eventually rolled off the bed and showered, too tired to attempt any of the gymnastics they had in the RV. Washing up and cuddling in bed sounded good to both of them.
CHAPTER THIRTY THREE
CHARITY
“You said I had complete control?” Rae confirmed and waiting for Ellen’s nod she continued, “Then let me do what you said I had the autonomy to do.”
Ellen sighed and tried hard to keep her mouth shut. “All I said was that buying dogs seemed like a bit of a…” she let it peter out as she saw her wife’s expression. She had promised not to interfere with the Foundation. It was Rae’s baby and she had done a great job keeping the board of directors informed of her decisions and why. This purchase seemed excessive though.
“If you had waited for the explanation of why I purchased that many dogs and what they were going to be used for, we wouldn’t be having this argument,” she further pointed out.
“Okay, I’m sorry. You’re right. If you would indulge me though before the board meeting this afternoon, please explain to me why the Foundation made such a large purchase of…dogs?” she tried not to sound condescending, demanding, or bossy. She was failing as she could see by the angry expression on her bride.
“Okay, but this time and this time only. I bought the dogs so that they could be trained in search and rescue. I’ve contacted the local veterans association to offer the dogs to those that qualify. We will be helping vets returning home and in exchange they can help us with the dogs. The Foundation will pay for their training and service. We also will be using veterans in a ‘habitat for humanity’ type of effort to help us rebuild in places like Oakley after a disaster. Because they have various skills in the military it will serve us a three-fold purpose, retraining, rebuilding, and security. We will be providing them with RV’s, many of them we still have the rights to from Oakley. Those that you didn’t give away,” she reminded the now squirming Ellen who was feeling foolish at questioning her very qualified wife. “We will be repurposing the remaining RV’s, stocking them with dry goods and other necessities. It will provide those vets who will work with this program with a home and transportation in the event we need them to go to a disaster site,” she explained.
“That’s brilliant,” Ellen conceded.
“Actually, I thought it was too. I would appreciate it in the future if you don’t jump to conclusions but you allow me to
explain at the designated meeting or this. In this case, this afternoons Foundation meeting. I would have explained in full as I have to you and as I have in this prospectus,” she patted one of the folders she had put together for her wife and the other board members. “You hired me for this job, allow me to do it.”
Ellen was absolutely contrite. No one dared to put her in her place like this anymore. She was too rich, too powerful, and too knowledgeable. Rae was right. She had been worried when she had been told that her wife had gone out and bought dogs. Many, many dogs and expensive ones at that. It hadn’t made sense but it certainly did now. She had to remember to sign over the many remaining RV’s to the Foundation. They had decided calling it a foundation instead of a charity sounded so much better months ago. “I’m sorry,” she offered, knowing it was very little. “I won’t do that again,” she promised. She wasn’t about to explain. Her wife was right. She had been wrong and hovering. Worrying about the amounts of money that were going out and hearing about foolish acquisitions such as the dogs. She should have trusted Rae as she had when she had proposed she take this position.
“Ellen, you wanted me to take this job because you trusted me to do it well. Let me,” she pleaded slightly.
“You’re right. I will try,” she promised.
“You better succeed,” Rae threatened and then eased the sting of her words as she moved in for a kiss.
Iris had listened to what she could from the atrium of the small offices where the Foundation was located. They didn’t need much but with the supplies coming in they would need a warehouse soon. Part of the meeting this afternoon was to discuss that as well as the enormous expenditures that Rae had already authorized. She was having a blast this summer helping Rae set up things as they got ready to help people with small interest loans, where the government ones failed. When FEMA and the military failed to help, they would go in, sometimes faster and help where they could. She had already decided to go to Stanford in the fall, Rae had helped her get in when she applied, using Ellen’s name shamelessly, so that she was closer to help with the Foundation if she could. Blossom wasn’t happy as she wanted her nearer to home but already she was talking about selling the house in San Diego and moving north.
CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR
PARENTHOOD
“I honestly thought it would be different,” Ellen complained good-naturedly. They had wanted this. After two years of marriage Rae had said it was time. If they were going to have a family, neither of them was getting any younger. They could both still have their careers and hire people to take care of any babies they had or they could delegate to their people to make their jobs easier and spend more time with their babies.
“What, all flowers and good vibes?” Rae asked as she practiced her breathing techniques. Ellen rubbed the bulge that constituted her belly, the baby inside of it a product of the last few attempts of fertilizing their eggs. They had chosen one of Ellen’s eggs and one of Rae’s for her to carry. It had required timing and a lot of patience. They had first tried implanting some of Ryan’s sperm themselves. Several times actually but the fear of ‘running’ out had them using the doctors. Then they found that Rae’s eggs were few and far between and it was more likely if Ellen’s eggs were used.
“It would be better if we used Rae’s body for the gestation,” the doctor informed them. “Her body is ideally suited for this,” he informed them, making Rae feel insanely proud of that fact.
“But I don’t have enough eggs,” she said bitterly, depressed over the idea that their future children wouldn’t have any of her genetics.
“That isn’t a problem, not really,” he gently explained. “If you two are willing we will extract eggs from both of you. If conditions are ideal we will fertilize both sets of eggs and you two can decide wh which of you will carry your first offspring.” He waited to see that they were both following him before asking, “Did you want to choose the sex too?”
“You can do that?” Ellen asked surprised.
“We can here at the clinic, but don’t let that get around. Some liberals wouldn’t like it that the sex can be chosen and let’s face it, some cultures would choose boys every time,” he rolled his eyes at this. “Nothing like a type of genocide within their own culture.”
“So, we can choose whose egg she carries as well as the sex?” Ellen clarified.
“Why can’t you carry the baby?” Rae teased.
“You heard him, your body is ideally suited for this,” she said with a grin, proud of her wife and their decision to finally have a baby. “But if you really want me to carry one I suppose I…” she began.
“I was kidding; I don’t mind carrying our baby.” She took Ellen’s hand in her own. “Your baby,” she said softly.
“As long as it’s okay with the doctors we will do anything you want baby,” she said in a same tone.
“Well, it helps that Rae is the younger of you two. Nothing like leaving this to the last moment,” the doctor teased.
“Last moment?” Rae asked with a cocked eyebrow.
“Most clinics wouldn’t take you this near to forty. Fortunately you both are still healthy. I still want you to come in monthly and of course during the eighth and ninth month weekly. I want to make sure this baby, these babies,” he gestured towards the petrie dishes that might eventually house their offspring, however briefly. “Are healthy.”
The first implant was not successful and they were moderately upset by those results. The second was a huge disappointment.
“It’s my eggs I bet you!” Rae said dispiritedly.
“It’s just the way things go,” Ellen tried to console her. She too was disappointed but she couldn’t blame anyone and certainly not Rae. Privately she thought it was her eggs and the thought of reproducing, that negativity, those horrible genes she had inside of her, plagued her thoughts.
They had talked about it of course. Ellen had explained her fears but Rae pointed out, it was the parents not the genes that would determine how the child turned out. The age old argument of nature versus nurture. “Babe, it’s a psychology term…just because a baby has your genes, heredity versus the environment of how we raise this baby. We will determine how she or he turns out,” she argued.
Ellen argued but lost, pointing out all her father’s behaviors.
“But you aren’t like that, you have never been like that,” Rae argued back.
“I was different before, you know that,” she pointed out that as well.
“You were hurting. Ryan was right; you needed to release all that anger, all that hurt. You aren’t the same woman you were or I wouldn’t have married you!”
“Children don’t become their parents,” the doctor weighed in on their arguments when they brought them to him.
“The whole point is moot anyway,” Rae, feeling depressed about still not being pregnant chimed in.
It took five treatments until Rae began to puke into their fine toilet in the bedroom. She was secretly thrilled but at the same time scared that she would lose this baby. The doctor, in an effort to be over-cautious put her on total bedrest. Ellen relished the opportunity to take care of her wife, waiting on her hand in foot. She wouldn’t have even allowed Rae to get out of their bed to use the bathroom if Rae hadn’t insisted. “Don’t be silly, I don’t want or need a bed pan,” she argued. She was thrilled that Ellen had jumped on board so heartily, if a bit too enthusiastically.
Which was how they came to be taking pre-natal classes, learning how to use Lamaze techniques to deliver the twins that Rae was now carrying. They had chosen not to know the sexes of their babies, instead wanting the surprise. The bedroom next to theirs had been lovingly turned into a nursery with neutral colors and two cribs. The two bassinets were already set up in the master bedroom awaiting the arrival of their babies.
“No, I just thought that it would be a room full of panting mothers,” Ellen said as she looked around the room full of expectant parents. “Yeah, there would be fathers but this is a
surprise,” she pointed to the other couples. They weren’t the only same-sex couple in the room. There was another lesbian couple, another of two dads who had agreed to use a surrogate who was being judiciously spoiled by the two fathers. Ellen was fascinated at how this sort of dynamic had changed over the years. She almost felt the oldest in the group but one of the two fathers was at least ten years older than she. She mentally cheered them on in creating their family as she rubbed Rae’s belly and cheered about their own.
“Times have changed,” Rae agreed looking around the room and seeing the same things that Ellen had.
Their teacher was thorough and took them through the many things that they could expect while expecting as well as the delivery. “Keep in mind that the birth mother,” she said using a term that wouldn’t offend most of her clients. “Will not remember most of the birth. They will say or do things that you as the birth partner would never expect them to,” she smiled wryly as many had heard of these things. She went on to explain about the personality changes she herself had witnessed citing many examples of improper language and threats that the birth mother could and would use, making them all laugh over her stories. “You must not hold this against her as she may not remember most of it,” she explained.
They watched videos on the subject and squirmed through the messy process of birth. It wasn’t pretty. Ellen knew if it weren’t for Rae she wouldn’t have come to this point in her life. She was proud and scared at the same time. Proud that Rae would be giving birth to two babies, one of each of their genetics. She didn’t want to know which and Rae agreed with her. They knew that one of each was inside of her, growing healthy and about to be born, that was enough. They wanted them healthy, they didn’t care which sex they were.
It was a rainy Saturday night when Rae decided to go into labor. She had eaten their favorite meal, lasagna and thought the heartburn she was experiencing was from the spices. When Ellen began to time the heartburn and found them to be six minutes apart she called the clinic and the doctor agreed to meet them. Driving the Maserati as quickly and safely as she could on the rain-slicked roads, Ellen rethought the conversation they had just the previous week.
