Jack-O-Lanterns: Cat Out of Hell Page 2

“I love how you smell.” His tongue snaked out to lap at her clit. Katrina cried out sharply in her need. She couldn’t help it. He looked up, his heated gaze locking with hers. “Do you taste as good, Katrina? Do you want me to taste you?”

Katrina nodded, her body weeping for him. Yet he waited patiently for an answer.

  “Yes, please,” she begged.

Joey leaned forward, his tongue sliding into the soft folds of her pussy. Katrina tensed, feeling hot. He buried his face between her legs, smashing her sanity with his wicked mouth. Her hands sank into the fine silk of his hair, crying out as he lapped at her juices and pleasured her at a leisurely pace with his hot tongue.

Katrina quickly lost control, her pussy walls quivering with her need to have him fill her, to fuck her. When his tongue began to slide into her with stiff quick thrusts like a cock, she went sailing over the edge.

Katrina screamed as the orgasm shook her to her core. Wave after wave of exquisite pleasure overtook her as she struggled to remain standing, her hands clutched in his hair. The room was spinning. The world was spinning. Katrina was shaking and fighting for breath when Joey finally rose to his feet and kissed her mouth. The taste of her own juices on his lips only caused the sensations to start coiling again, low in her belly.

He pressed her down on the bed. His weight on her was delicious and his heavy cock nudging at her wet flesh threatened to drive her crazy with lust. Reaching for his jacket, he pulled a small condom package from a pocket.

Katrina couldn’t fight the urge to touch him. When she wrapped her fingers around his thick, heated shaft, she was rewarded by a low growl, an almost animal sound. She moved her hand up and down his length, feeling powerful. A flush of color darkened his face and his arms tightened around her. Katrina slid her hand further down and cupped his balls, squeezing them gently, as he ripped the condom from the wrapper and smoothed it over his cock.

“I won’t last long with you doing that.” Joey captured her hand and pushed it over her head, pinning her other hand next to it a second later. “I need to be inside you, Katrina. Now.”

Holding her wrists in one hand, Joey positioned the mushroom shaped head of his cock at her entrance with the other. He parted her folds, and with a single smooth thrust into her greedy cunt. The width of him stretched and burned as he slid inside, and her pussy closed around him like a fist. He withdrew and pushed a little deeper each time until he was buried balls deep inside her.

“Joey!” she cried, clutching at his back with her nails as he began driving into her.

His eyes were glowing with lust as he gazed down at her. “Damn, you’re so tight. You feel so damned good,” he whispered.

Katrina shuddered. Her hips lifted to meet his, pushing his cock deeper into her aching cunt. It was obvious that he was struggling for control. His eyes slid closed and his jaw locked as he pushed inside her.

She wrapped her legs around his waist, her pussy walls tightening around him. She sensed he was holding back, trying not to hurt her. Yet she didn’t want him to be careful. No, Katrina wanted him to let go and give in to the desire that was driving him. Her body craved it, needed it.

Jerking her hips, she tried to encourage him.

His control snapped at that. Gripping her thighs, he began to pump hard and deep inside her. Katrina screamed as much from her growing excitement as the slight pain from each hard, driving thrust. Katrina called his name, hung onto him as his rough strokes brought on more hard contractions of pleasure, more unexpected bliss to push away the nightmare landscape her life had become.

Katrina arched and bucked beneath him as the incredible sensations went on and on. Her juices flooded the space he filled, her inner walls pulsing around his thick shaft. She could feel his gaze on her, but she didn’t care. She only wanted more of him, wanted to see him come.

And he gave it to her. Slamming hard and deep, his cock jerked and exploded within her as he growled out his own release. His grip on her was almost painful as he let out a long, ragged moan.

Joey collapsed on top of her, his heart pounding against hers as the sound of their panting filled the room. She had no idea how long they’d been in there. She only knew when he rolled onto his back and took her with him to snuggle at his side, she couldn’t resist. It was the first time she’d felt safe since she’d arrived in Hell.

  * * *

Joey listened to the sounds of their rough breathing, holding the beautiful woman he’d just made love to close to his heart. She felt so good in his arms. It wasn’t just the sex, though that had been incredible. It was the way she was curled up against him like a sleepy kitten. He liked the way her long eyelashes looked against the pale slopes of her cheeks. He absolutely loved the silvery blonde river of her hair fanning out behind her.

Katrina’s skin was soft like silk as his fingers ran over her hip. Her little body was relaxed now. All the fear and tension were gone for the moment.

Still, he couldn’t stop himself from wondering what had put that fear there to begin with. Now that his physical needs were sated, he wanted to know what was going on. “Katrina?”

  “Hmmm?”

“Would you like to tell me why you were so scared when you first came in the room?

Her body tensed instantly and her eyes flew open. They were clouded with concern as they gazed up into his.

“You’ve never done this before have you?” He knew the answer to that before he’d asked the question. She hadn’t been a virgin, but she wasn’t an experienced whore either. He’d had a few of those lately. He knew the difference.

She lifted her head from his chest, shook it slowly.

“What are you doing here then? Are you in trouble of some kind? Do you need money?”

Katrina swallowed hard. No, it was worse than that, he could tell.

“Are you being held here against your will?”

A scuffling sound outside had her nearly launching from the bed. “Joey, they’re coming for you.”

The stark fear in her eyes now was very telling. The smell of it on her was nearly overwhelming. “They mean to kill me?” he asked.

Katrina nodded. “That’s what they do. They make money off the women, then they finish off the men and take their belongings, even their cars and bikes.”

“How did you come to be here?”

“Another lady and I were traveling for our company. We stopped across the street for gas. They killed her in front of me and brought me here. I’ve been here for two weeks.”

Another sound outside had his body tingling in awareness. Despite the drug that kept him from changing into his leopard form when he mated with human women, Joey was confident he’d be able to shift if he needed to.

Katrina was already pulling on her panties, her dress.

It might just come to that.

“We’re getting out of here,” Joey told her as he pulled on his jeans.

The hope he read in her face at his words melted his heart. Joey wanted to save her, protect her. She made him understand why Alex felt as he did about Casey. Katrina made him want…

Struggling to zip up the back of her dress, Katrina eyed him nervously. “There is something I have to tell you. They’re… dangerous.”

Joey nodded as he stood and zipped his jeans and began looking for his sweater. “I’m sure they are.”

Katrina handed it to him, her expression desperate now. “They aren’t even men. They’re monsters. Werewolves, I think. I know it sounds crazy but I’ve seen it. I swear. They’ll kill you.”

That got Joey’s attention. Werewolves? He’d seen old movies on the television at the lab about werewolves but he didn’t know they actually existed.

Well, if Joey and his kind existed, why not?

The best case scenario was to take Katrina and get the hell out of there unnoticed. As much as she had likely been through, he didn’t want to add to her distress by having her watch him turn into a monster, the demon leopard. He’d only do that if he ha
d to.

Joey picked up his jacket as the door to the room burst open and blood curdling howls filled the room. Katrina scrambled to an empty corner of the room, cowering like a terrified child.

He wouldn’t allow her to be hurt any further. No way.

There were three of them, whatever they were, and they sneered at him with drooling mouths full of sharp teeth as they closed in.

Glancing one last time at Katrina, Joey yanked off his sweater and pushed down his jeans, his actions taking the werewolves off guard and buying him some time.

He didn’t have a choice now.

Letting anger and anxiety flood his body, Joey growled. The change was coming, fast and furious. A good thing since they were moving closer now, trying to decide the best moment to strike.

Like thousands of needles, black fur punctured his human skin, and his limbs convulsed and changed. Within seconds he’d shifted into his leopard form, leaping onto the bed.

They were sizing him up, and the smallest of the three reeked of fear. Joey lunged at him first, going straight for the jugular vein as the others came at him. He ripped the throat out of the first one and sent the second flying across the room with a splintering crash, using a great sweep of his paw. The second wolf recovered quickly, joining the third for a united attack.

Joey stalked them, trying to choose which he’d rather fight. In a split second, he decided to take on the one he’d already smacked across the room. Before they could act, he swiped at the face of the third wolf with his claws, taking at least one of his eyes out. The injured wolf howled in agony as Joey pounced on the third one, finishing him off quickly.

The coppery taste of blood filled Joey’s mouth. The kill would allow him to change back to human. The fear in Katrina’s face made him desperate to change sooner rather than later.

Joey nudged the howling wolf, both eyes gone in a stream of blood, out of the room and then pushed the door shut. He turned to find Katrina gathering his clothing.

  Change! Change now, damn it!

When the transformation finally began, it didn’t take long for him to return to his human self. He stood in front of her again as a man, quickly grabbing up the comforter off the bed to wipe the blood off his chest.

“Katrina, listen to me,” he tried to keep his voice calm. “We have to leave. Now.”

  “A-are you one of them?”

Joey’s heart squeezed in his chest at the way her voice shook. “No. I would never hurt you. I want to help you.” Please believe that.

  “But you are --”

“Not totally unlike them. I’m not their kind. I promise to tell you everything later, but you have to leave with me now. We have to get out of Hell.”

His heart thumped in his chest as he waited for her to decide. The others would be coming very soon.

Her hand shook as she held his clothes out to him.

Joey dressed in a frenzy as she located her shoes and slid them on. He pulled her into his arms. The beginnings of trust were there in what must have been an unbelievable situation for her. It was a promising start, he hoped.

Joey wrapped his jacket around her shoulders to keep her warm. She’d freeze to death on the back of his motorcycle otherwise.

“Do you think we’ll escape them?” She gazed up into his face, the tiniest bit of hope in her eyes.

Joey nodded. “This whole place is full of them, isn’t it?”

  “Yes.”

While he didn’t admire their intentions, it made sense to him. The wolves were gathered together, working together with purpose toward a common goal. It was too bad his kind had never thought to do that instead of hiding and trying to lose themselves in the world.

Making a mental note to talk to Alex about it all later, he cupped Katrina’s elbow and led her toward the door. Her slight form trembled against his side but there was no hesitation on her part.

“Trust me,” he whispered. “I’ll keep you safe.” It stunned him to realize just how much he meant those words.

  “I will.”

Throwing open the door, Joey glanced carefully around and ran with Katrina out into the night. He got her safely to the motorcycle and they road out under the full moon toward the future -- a future he hoped would find them together.
