His eyes pierced me to the wall that he had backed me into as his hand went up to my neck possessively gripping it.

I boldly met his gaze, I had no intentions of being bullied into marriage.

“A contract is a contract, and the contract states that you are to do whatever I deem necessary for the next year. Well, actually a year and a half now since I got an extension for being such a good fuck.”

  “Anthony, marriage doesn’t count.”

He stuck his bottom lip out as if he was pouting and then his face completely changed, turning into some feral contorted expression. “The fuck it doesn’t count. You listen to me and you listen good. I will never let you go, contract or no contract, you are my fucking property!”

His hand squeezed cutting off the precious oxygen that was needed to survive and I watched as he raised an eyebrow as if expecting an answer. I shook my head yes, just to get the breath that I was being deprived of. I have no idea why, but this man will stop at nothing to keep me. I had been under the mistaken impression that he would back off some once I agreed to the contract, but in all honesty things had only gotten more intense. I wasn’t going to argue about this right now. The look in his eyes clearly let me know that it was not open for debate.

I knew enough from Anthony’s past behavior towards me to know that he was reacting to the fear of losing me. Though the way that he was making his point wasn’t right, I did understand. I knew how badly losing someone could rip your heart to shreds. I had experienced it firsthand and I never wanted to again.

We were quite the dysfunctional pair, he was scared to lose me and I was scared to love anyone again. We were polar opposites, magnetically drawn to one another, it would be interesting to see how things worked out. I was concerned about ruining his career and he was concerned about losing me.

“Anthony, if people find out about my past it could hurt your career.”

He nuzzled my ear as he growled, “You let me worry about my fucking career. The only thing you better be concerned about is incurring my wrath if you ever try to leave me. I’d hate to have to put a tracking device under your skin, but I am beginning to wonder if I need to.”

Even though I couldn’t believe my ears, I could believe he would go that far to keep me.

“I think that I may just do that dove. I think that I may just do that.”

  CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

  Julia

Julia found herself thinking less and less about the Governor and more and more about how Roderick’s thick middle finger had felt wedged in her wet opening.

She also found herself debating about whether what he had said about how big his cock was could actually be true. Finally after a week of wondering, she decided that maybe it was time to make an excuse up and call him. After all, she did need to inform him about the engagement party and ask him if that would be a good time to kidnap Talia.

She texted him the address to her condo and waited to see what would happen. It wasn’t long before she heard a motorcycle and she was shocked to see him pulling up on a Harley Davidson.

Evidently this guy has got more money than what I thought—to be riding around on an expensive bike like that.

She made her way to the door and opened it, only to have him push his way past her and turn to lock it.

  Roderick

“What the fuck took you so long?”

  “What do you mean?”

The steps he made towards her direction were done in a threatening demeanor and the fear he was instilling in her seemed to only to pique her curiosity.

He pushed her down on the couch before he dropped to his knees. He inserted himself between her spread thighs as he reached out and pushed her dress up her legs and over her hips.

He began nibbling up her inner thigh until he reached the satin panties that covered where he told her he wanted to stick his tongue in. He pulled the material that stood in his way down before sliding them further down her legs and over the high heels she still wore. One leg was placed over his shoulder giving him full access to what he wanted. He ran his tongue up and down her already wet slit and began to pump his big thick finger, the one she hadn’t been able to stop thinking about, in and out and out of her opening.

“First, you are going to come really hard for me. Then once you’re nice and wet I am going to pump this big, thick, ten inch cock in and out of you. You want my cock don’t you?

Her cries of passion telling him how good he felt and how she would do anything he wanted had him so hard he was sure his pants would rip at the seams.

He began to suck on her on her now swollen clit and her legs shook as she cried out climaxing as hard as he promised she would.

He tossed her over the arm of the couch and pulled her dress up over her ass, commanding her not to move as he stood behind her looking at her vulnerable open state. He had pulled his jeans down and was slowly pumping his cock before he placed a condom on.

“I told you I was going to fuck you, girl. You don’t know how many times I’ve thought about this since the last time I saw you.”

He jerked her ass up, causing her to claw at the leather couch as he began to push into her. His fingers dug into her hips, showing no mercy as he began to taunt her with his words.

“Oh what a tight little pink pussy I own. It’s mine now, I’m taking it. You’re on call for me now or I’m going to tell all of your little rich friends how you tried to hire me to kill the Governor’s soon to be wife. Do you still want him? He can’t give you what I’m giving you. Tell me whose pussy this is now.”

Roderick listened as Julia cried out, telling him everything he wanted to hear. Something about taking this little rich, high classed bitch and soiling her was a turn on for him and he had every intention of moving right into her life and taking over her bedroom.

Roderick fucked his new pussy long into the night. He’d been thinking about it for the last week and it was just as good as he knew that it would be. Him being a bad ass and her being Ms. Goody Two Shoes, was just the right combination for the two of them.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

  Talia

After a week of my stomach constantly wrapped in knots, it was finally the day of the engagement party and I was a nervous wreck. I decided that the best thing to do was to make my way down to the kitchen and talk to my surrogate mother.

She immediately handed me a cup of coffee at the counter and gave me her full attention.

  “I’m a nervous wreck, Gretchen.”

“You will do fine. This is no different than any other event you have been to dear.”

“I know, but there is such a finality about tonight.”

“As well there should be, my dear. Anthony loves you. Let me ask you something, does Anthony know the things you worry will come out in the press?”

  “Yes.”

  “Does he still love you?”

  “Yes.”

“Then you have nothing to fear. Anthony has a way of making rumors look like lies, even when they are true. He has been doing this for a long time and he has the connections needed to make any rumors go away.”

“No matter how terrible they are? This is terrible, Gretchen.”

“No, the shame that you feel is what is terrible. You were forced into a bad situation by your uncle, he is who should be laden down with guilt, not you.”

“How long have you known?” I asked, looking down as I tried to hide the tears that were beginning to well up in my eyes.

“I have known from the beginning dear. I made Anthony tell me because I didn’t want to find out something that would alter my opinion of you later. I really had to pull it out of him. Anthony can’t hide anything from me, I raised him and I have every intention of helping you raise the children you will someday have with him.”

The tears flowed freely now as I rose up to hug the woman who had been there for me the same way my own mother would have been. I loved her and I felt the weight of guilt lift from my shoulders. As much as I wo
uld be ashamed for the public to find out about my past, it was the people who were the closest to me that mattered the most. Anyone I loved knew about my past, they accepted and loved me anyway, in the end that was what really mattered.

“Ok, I’m going to the spa with Kathy and I will see you when I get back. I love you Gretchen, you’re a jewel.”

“I love you too sweetie, be careful.”

“You are the best friend ever for taking me to this event, Talia.”

“I wouldn’t have it any other way, Kathy.”

“I can only imagine all of the prestigious men that will be there.”

“Well being married to a high profile man is overrated. There are a lot of issues that go along with the territory.”

“Yea, but I have you to walk me through the pitfalls.”

“I’m still learning the pitfalls, the hard way sometimes.”

“Oh, I’m sure that Anthony does a great job holding your hand.” Kathy leaned over and whispered, “Have you heard anything else from that Julia girl?”

“No, let’s just hope that she gave up on Anthony and disappeared.”

Even as I said it, I knew that women like Julia don’t just give up. Their pride won’t allow it. She was never going to live down the way the press had butchered her due to the break up. In Julia’s mind it was entirely my fault. I just hoped her warped sense of reality didn’t end up costing me in the end.

I had no idea just how quickly that I would find out…

  CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

  Talia

Nothing was going the way that it was supposed to. Anthony had called and due to an emergency would be meeting me at the engagement party.

Now I was seated in the back of the limo looking at a driver I had never seen before. Call it my street instincts, but I wasn’t feeling good about this. I chalked it up to me being paranoid and I would wish that I hadn’t. I should have listened to my gut.

The driver turned and eyed me as he spoke, “Good evening Miss. Talia, I’ll be your driver for this evening and my name is Roderick.”

  Roderick

Roderick could feel the adrenaline course through his system like a drug, as he eyed Talia. The fact that he could tell she was second guessing closing the car door, only served as an aphrodisiac. He loved it when he got to play this game, the game of making himself believable. Weaving through the web of a target’s trepidation made things much more interesting. It honed his skills of mastering the mind fucks he loved to subjugate on his targets. Roderick enjoyed a good mind fuck, he used them in every area of his life and that included the bedroom.

“I can call the Governor if you like and inform him that we are on the way.”

He was glad that he had tucked his long hair under the chauffeur’s cap he wore. He had also gone to the trouble of wearing a long sleeve shirt that would cover his ink from her view. Of course leather driving gloves were needed to cover the tattoos that were on his fingers. Roderick had some of the best ink in the city. It was the one area that he didn’t bargain shop—only the best ink graced his body and money was never an issue, because business was good.

Her voice cut through his thoughts, “No, that’s fine I don’t want to bother him, he had an emergency come up.”

“Very well then, let’s be on our way. There is some water in the cooler if you would like, or there is also some champagne on ice.”

“That sounds good Roderick. I have to admit that my nerves are on edge about this event.”

Roderick watched as she poured herself a glass of champagne and he felt a sense of relief that he hadn’t lost his skills of being able to deceive his fellow human being. He needed it in his line of work and he was one of the best in the business. Between his ability to look a person right in the eye and lie to them and his willingness to do anything necessary to get the job done, his reputation proceeded him.

He couldn’t help but feel an eagerness about seeing how his little Julia would deal with the woman that stole her fiancé. What he couldn’t understand was why he was pissed about the fact that she wanted to get even. He watched in the rearview mirror as Talia slumped over in the seat and nodded off before making his way to the warehouse.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

  Talia

I woke to my head feeling as if it was in a vice grip. My eyes fluttered open and it took a moment of trying to register what was going on, before pure panic flooded through my system. It caused my fight or flight instincts to kick in. The problem was that I couldn’t do either since I was gagged and tied to a wooden chair. I was completely helpless.

Nothing could have prepared me for seeing Julia round the corner with a look of contempt and pleasure written on her face. How a person could manage two polar opposite emotions at the same time was beyond me. She was out to get even and I wasn’t looking forward to what the crazy bitch might subject me to.

I didn’t know whether to be relieved, or more concerned. I knew how a woman could be much more treacherous than a man. The press had mercilessly raked her over the coals making fun of her. She had even been the brunt of late night TV fodder. It was plain to see by the look on her face that she blamed me.

She wasted no time lighting into me. My head swung back as she viciously backhanded me and began spewing her venomous words in my direction.

“You stole my boyfriend, you bitch!”

She savagely pulled at my hair as she hurled insults in my direction. Her fingernails raked into my scalp causing tears to stream down my face from the pain that she was inflicting on my already throbbing skull. Though the tears had begun, due to the pain that she was inflicting, they were now pouring down my face due to anger. I vowed that if I ever got out of this warehouse, I was going to beat her half to death. I hadn’t noticed the man standing against the pole until he spoke.

  Roderick

“Well aren’t you just the vicious little bitch?” Roderick watched entertained by the fact that little Miss. High society was acting like a street punk. For some reason it made him feel better to know that someone in such high social standing was really just as much of an animal as he was.

Julia struggled trying to get the ring off Talia’s finger while she screamed that it should be hers anyway. We had all been so engrossed in Julia’s behavior that we never noticed we had company, until a voice cut through the air like razors.

  Miller

“You touch her one more fucking time and I’ll slit your throat!”

Miller eased around the corner and made his way over to the crazy blonde who had been unsuccessful in trying to hire him. He viciously grabbed a fistful of her hair and growled, “I see you decided to take matters into your own hands?” He literally lifted her up by a fistful of hair and had her feet kicking off the concrete floor as he addressed Roderick, “I’m going to be very fucking disappointed if I find out that you had something to do with abducting my client.”

“I had no idea, Miller. None.”

Miller tossed Julia carelessly at Roderick’s feet. “Then deal with that piece of shit. Unless you want me dealing with you.”

Miller stood waiting in cold silence. Roderick wasted no time in relaying his displeasure. No piece of ass was worth getting on Miller’s bad side.

Julia’s head viciously swung from side to the side as Roderick’s hands connected with her face. Her lip immediately began swelling under the assault as she cried out for mercy.

“You stupid fucking cunt, are you trying to get me killed?”

“I didn’t know. I didn’t know,” Julia screamed out, in hopes of gaining mercy.

Miller made his way over to Roderick and placed a gun at his temple. Though his voice and demeanor was calm, Roderick knew Miller well enough that he had no problem with pulling the trigger.

“You take this bitch and get her out of here and if she ever causes anymore problems for this woman, I’m holding you responsible.”

  Roderick

Roderick reached down and picked up Julia’s crumpled body and
threw her into the backseat of the limo. There wouldn’t be a chance of her ever causing Talia problems again, he would see to that. This had actually worked out quite well for Roderick because now he could stake his claim on her. It would give him control and Roderick loved being in control. Julia would be too scared to try and cause anymore problems for the Governor and Talia. Yes, this had worked out quite well for Roderick…

  Miller

Miller carefully untied Talia’s drugged, beaten up body, and called for a driver. There was no fucking way he was throwing her in the backseat of his truck and delivering her like that to the Governor.

He was not looking forward to this at all. He sat on the concrete floor and held her in his arms as he waited for help to arrive. He would be doing good to get out of this situation alive, a situation that he had unknowingly and unwillingly been put into.

Even though he had not been the one who had performed the atrocity of kidnapping Talia, he couldn’t help but think of the Governor just might want to shoot the messenger. This was not going to go over well with the Governor at all.

  Governor Anthony Johnson

Anthony paced as he noted that the guests were becoming antsy about the arrival of his fiancé, as was the press, and that was never a good thing.

He had been dealing with the press from the time he was a child due to the fact that he had always drawn attention. Even as a young boy attending military school, when the press would stake out the kids of parents in the spotlight, they always ended up getting Anthony into their sights as well.

He had always had a pull with people as if he were drawing them in. It had been an ongoing joke and as an adult people would tease him and say that he should get into politics. Though no one in his family had any political ties, Anthony had been The People’s Governor from day one.
