As soon as the words soaked in and the happiness spread into her heart, he pressed his hips forward. That movement coincided with Max going as far down her dark channel as he could. The simultaneous event filled her to the max. She’d never experienced anything more rewarding than loving her two men at the same time.

Had her hands not been used to support herself, she would have rubbed them down Ian’s chest or grabbed onto his muscled shoulders for support. Right now, all she could do was experience the amazing joy that bubbled within.

Each of Ian’s thrusts made her pussy wetter. The more excited she became, the more her ass seemed to understand its role. Sparks of lust stabbed right through the thin membrane. Max’s speed increased, and the friction turned her ass into a heated inferno. Chaos rained down on her when Ian matched Max’s speed. Their pumping action caused her pussy to milk Ian’s cock until he groaned.

  “You’re killing me,” he said.

Pleased she’d made him more needy, she clamped down not only on Ian’s cock but simultaneously on Max’s, too.

“Fuck, Devonne. Don’t do that or I’ll come.”

She smiled. Ian reached out and rubbed her tit. The callused palms scraped across her engorged nipple, and a torrent of ecstasy grabbed her. Her building climax threatened to release, but she forced herself to delay her satisfaction until she knew her men were about to blow.

Their moans escalated, and her own burgeoning release seemed to be in peril as they thrust harder into her. Ian twisted her nipples and then dove down to her lips. The moment he kissed her, her love exploded. She couldn’t hang on any longer.

She twisted her head to the side to draw in more air. “I’m going to come. Oh, God.”

“We’re right there with you, sugar.”

Ian clasped her arms to keep her steady, and Max moved his fingers up to her waist. As the tsunami-like orgasm descended, her two men let go, too.

Max yelled, and Ian sounded like a wounded animal. Their cocks grew and pulsed. Heat warmed her insides. They kept pumping long after they’d finished climaxing.

“I’m done.” She needed to let them know she’d jumped off the big climactic cliff with them.

They both slowed. Ian opened his eyes. “Oh, sugar. That was the best ever.”

He had to be telling the truth. She couldn’t imagine anything more wonderful than what they’d shared. Ian grunted as he pulled out of her. He helped her sit up so that Max could disengage.

She untangled her legs and dropped back on the bed. Ian managed to get a wet towel and return before too much damage had been done. He cleaned her up.

  “I needed that.”

If both of them hadn’t turned her around so that her head was on the pillow, she wouldn’t have been able to move. Every muscle was exhausted. Her pussy and her ass still throbbed, but she’d never been happier.

  Chapter Nineteen

  Three months later

Devonne hurried around the storefront polishing the glass countertops and straightening the earrings on the stand. She couldn’t believe how eager she was about opening a store in Intrigue, Wyoming. Even the grand opening in Los Angeles hadn’t been as exciting to her as this store, and she couldn’t understand why. The quality of merchandise wasn’t as high-end as that in the California store, nor did she carry as many items as there, but the chance to help some women pick out the perfect outfit would be more rewarding here because it meant she’d get to know a lot of the townsfolk.

Too bad there was a foot of snow on the sidewalk and no one had even passed by since she arrived over an hour ago. The snowplow had cleared the streets after five inches had fallen last night, but she was determined not to get discouraged.

Not only had Max and Ian been wonderful about dealing with permits and picking up boxes from the airport, but their older brother, Dustin, had helped with the remodel. Cody, the brother who owned the Intrigue Sun also helped by running a lot of free ads about the store. Even though Mrs. C never said anything, Devonne bet she’d talked up the opening to a lot of her friends.

The bell rang, and Ian and Max came in. They stomped their feet on the mat. In their hands was another box.

“I thought all of the inventory had arrived.”

  “This isn’t something for sale.”

Ian stepped back and locked the front door. Since store hours didn’t begin for another hour, she didn’t mind.

Max placed the box on the counter. “We came to ask you something.”

From the sparkle in his eyes, this was good news. “Shoot.”

Ian moved up beside Max with a more serious face. He took her hand in his. “Max and I have never been happier since you’ve come into our lives.”

When he looked down at the ground for a second, her stomach flipped. “I can say the same thing.” She prayed there wasn’t a “but” coming even though she had no reason to believe there might be. There was no way there could be a “but” since they’d made wonderfully passionate love every night since the party.

“We’d like you to be part of our life.”

He wasn’t being very specific. Dare she hope they meant marriage? She’d thought and dreamed about tying the knot with these two, but she figured one or both weren’t ready for the commitment. “I thought I was part of your life.”

Max huffed and slipped her hands from Ian’s to his. “Normally, Ian is the slick one with all the right words, but apparently he’s lost his tongue. What he is trying to say is that we love you and want to marry you.”

That might not have been the most romantic turn of words, but the sentiment worked for her. She threw herself into Max’s arms and hugged him. “Yes, I accept.” Then she moved to Ian. “Would that have been so hard to say?”

“I guess not.” Oh, my. She’d never seen him blush.

Max elbowed Ian. “He’s got something for you.” She caught the quick eye roll but held in a giggle.

“Oh, yeah.” He shoved his hand in his pocket and extracted the most beautiful diamond ring she’d ever seen. After lifting her left hand, he slipped on the gold band encrusted in not only a diamond, but it was surrounded by a ruby and an amethyst.

It fit perfectly. “It’s beautiful.” She held out her hand and admired the setting. “Do the stones represent you two?”

Ian nodded. “We thought about getting matching stones around the diamond, but since we’re nothing alike, we thought it better to make them different.”

She liked that, but she wouldn’t ask which stone belonged to which brother, nor would she comment that they were more alike than maybe they realized.

Max moved closer. “You know the store doesn’t open for another hour. I thought maybe you’d like to celebrate.”

Her mind whirred with the possibilities. “What did you have in mind?” It wasn’t like they could have sex on the floor. The entire front of the store was glass.

“You got any place private in the back?”

Her office resided behind closed doors. “I got a desk.” She grinned and wrapped her arms around Max’s neck.

Ian cleared his throat, and they broke apart. “What? You’re welcome to join us,” Max said.

Ian glanced at the box on the counter. “Shit. I forgot.” He picked up the box and placed it in her hands. “We bought this for you knowing how beautiful you looked in it.”

She had no idea what this was. Carefully, she lifted the lid, and her heart stopped. She set the box on the counter and lifted the white dress. The beads shimmered under the overhead lights. Tears formed.

“This is the wedding dress I modeled. I thought it was the most beautiful one I’d ever worn.”

“When we saw it on you, we knew we had to buy it.”

She didn’t know the price, but it had to be outlandishly expensive. The fact they loved the dress meant the world to her. “You couldn’t have picked a better present.”

The men beamed. “So when do you want to get married?”

Not wanting to be disappointed, she hadn’t dwelle
d on the idea. “I don’t know.” The image of Christmas with the large family bloomed. “How about at Christmastime? I know your mom will have the house decorated. This way, she won’t have to do double the work.”

The men looked at each other. “I’m sure Mom can pull that off. That gives her six weeks, but what about your parents? Will they be disappointed that you aren’t getting married in Los Angeles?”

“They moved to Vienna two years ago. The States were too uncouth for them.” She flicked her nose. “At one time my folks were cool, but once my father’s company expanded, they got into that jet-set crowd that never appealed to me. If I send them an invitation, they’ll come, but hosting a wedding would not be very practical.”

They gave her a group hug. Ian lifted her chin with a finger. “You going to be okay?”

She swiped a tear. “These are tears of joy. You both have fulfilled my every wish.”

Max grinned. “I’ve got a wish of my own.”

  “What’s that?”

He took her hand. “I’ll want to show you something in the office.”

She hoped it had something to do with a naked body part. “Are we going to celebrate the store opening in style?”

  “You bet!”

  THE END

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Unlike most other authors, I started writing late in life. Writing stories in high school and college was not for me. Only after I graduated did I fall in love with romance novels. For the next twenty years, I read voraciously. It got to a point where my book-buying habits cost as much as my groceries. At that point, my husband suggested I write a book. Hey, it looked easy, right? All the stories started in the same spot (hero and heroine at odds) and ended the same way (happily ever after). Only it was anything but easy. Eleven years and fifteen completed romantic suspenses later, I finally published. I never would have gotten that far had it not been for two local chapters whose generous members shared their amazing wealth of knowledge.
