Forever Waiting Page 7

by P. D. Stevens

Zaine placed a hand on my shoulder and lifted my chin with his finger so I could look at him. “Everything is going to be okay, Lan,” he said slowly, enunciating each word. “You have to stop worrying over everything. I will not let anything happen while we’re gone. Do you get that?”

I looked up at him, my decision made, and said, “Well then, Mr. Brooks, I need to stop by my place to get some clothes. Oh, and I need to tell Tayla.”

Looking a little bashful, he confessed, “I already talked to Aaron and Tayla. Everything is all set.”

“Is there anything you haven’t done yet?” I asked, a little piqued. I wasn’t sure whether I should be made that he just assumed I would say yes, but I decided to let it go.

“Yes, there is.” He looked at me provocatively and came closer.

“Really? What haven’t you done yet?” I asked in disbelief. He replied by lifting me up and settling me on the counter. He lifted my shirt over my head, then spread my legs apart to stand in between them and leaned in to kiss me. It was so passionate that I became weak, and I could feel my panties getting hot from his touch. Putting his hand between my legs, he moved my panties to the side and started rubbing my sensitive lips. He slowly stuck a finger inside of me and started moving it in and out. I moaned leaned my head back against the mirror, crying out with intense pleasure. I closed my eyes and just enjoyed his touch. Then he lifted me off the counter and turned me to face the mirror.

Pulling my panties down the rest of the way, he bent me over the counter. I could hear the zipper on his expensive pants come down. Within seconds he was plunging into me. I was enjoying every inch of him, and I didn’t care anymore what time we needed to be to work or what we needed to do. All I knew is that I was living in a fairytale for just a little while, and I didn’t want to wait around for my coach to turn into a pumpkin.

I couldn’t believe I was leaving Tayla in charge. She usually didn’t want to be in charge of anything but a wet dream, and it scared me. I knew she could handle things, I just couldn’t believe she wanted to. I had convinced Zaine to at least stop by the boutique before we left so I could check on the progress. When we got there, I was surprised to find everything in place. There were also a bunch of workers I had never seen before.

Tayla was actually taking charge. I had never seen her so driven, and I was impressed. Tayla used to want to run a fashion business, but since she dropped out of school, she had always taken the easy path. She knew she had it made working for Johan and being her best friend’s assistant, so sometimes I worried that she’d never want to advance her career, but I had to say she’d proven me wrong.

“This looks fantastic,” I commented. There were racks all along the walls where Johan’s fashions were hung, and Tayla had paired each outfit with stylish shoes to match. The mannequins are still naked, but I supposed she couldn’t have done everything in just a few hours.

“Thanks,” Tayla replied. “You doubted me?”

“Uh… Well, let me just say I know you don’t like to work too hard,” I said jokingly. “But Tayla, I’m very proud of you! Thanks so much for all your help. I can’t believe Zaine got you to work side-by-side with Aaron.”

I watched Tayla’s face turn 100 different shades of red. “Okay, spill it! I know you have a story to tell me,” I said. Tayla rocked back and forth like a lost kid on the first day of school. She was actually at a loss for words, which for her meant she had so much on her mind she didn’t know what she wanted to tell me first. Aaron must have really gotten under her skin, because she was acting all sorts of weird.

Before she could reply, I heard Aaron and Zaine walking up behind us. So much for finding out what was wrong with Tayla. I could tell she was starting to get a major crush on one of the Brooks Brothers. I thought they would be a perfect match, but when you had two people who liked to have their cake and eat it too, it could also be dangerous.

“Hey there Hot Stuff, you’re looking better and better each time I see you,” Aaron said as he greeted me.

“Ugh, Aaron, it’s bad enough you talk to me like a gym teacher from the 70s, but do you think you can call me something better than “Hot Stuff?” I retorted.

“How about ‘Pretty Lady?’” he asked, taunting me.

“Yeah... That doesn’t work either. I’m just starting to get used to you. Please don’t make me run away already.”

Zaine came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. He whispered in my ear, “You better not run away. I will spend all my money to find you this time.” I knew that Zaine said it to be romantic, but I needed him to know that I didn’t run away from him—I was running away from myself.

I turned to look at him. “Do you have to bring up what I did to you every time we’re together, Zaine? Can’t I have a day with you when you don’t bring that up? I know I hurt you. Shit… You talk about it so much everybody knows I hurt you, but please, if you want to try to be something with me you need to stop. I get it, okay?”

I was so upset that I forgot where I was, and that other people were around. I took a deep breath and covered my face with my hands. “Maybe I shouldn’t go with you. I think you need to be alone and think things out.” I looked up, and over Zaine’s shoulder I saw Tayla, who was looking at me with a holy shit expression on her face. Knowing I needed to breathe for a minute, she broke the uncomfortable silence.

“Hey Lan, let’s go look at the sign out front to see if they hung it the way you told them to.” She grabbed my arm and pulled me to the front of the boutique. I heard Zaine’s footsteps behind us, but I didn’t turn around. Tayla shoved me so fast out the door I almost fell. “Are you out of your fucking mind, Lan? You spent the last eight years crying yourself to sleep at night because you were so upset about leaving Zaine.”

“How could you know that?” I responded angrily.

“I could hear you through the thin walls of our apartment. And now you’re telling a man who arranges one of the most romantic weekend trips I have ever had the honor of helping with that you won’t go with him! Are you insane?”

“No I’m not insane,” I cried. “I want him to see me for what I’ve become, not the broken girl he remembers.”

“I do see what you’ve become, Landrey.” Zaine’s voice came from behind us, and I turned. Pushing me toward him, Tayla went back inside the store. I looked down at my feet instead of at his face. I couldn’t look at him. I wanted to be strong and prove my point. He went on. “Listen Lan, I know I’ve been dwelling on what happened, and I’m sorry. I guess I didn’t realize it when I was doing it. Are you really going to make me get on that jet, which is ready and waiting for us, alone? Look at me, Landrey!” He was so stern that it turned me on. This man undid every little knot that was in me, and it drove me wild. I looked up at him, at his face, and I knew I was hurting him again, but I was so angry.

“I think you should go alone, Zaine,” I said, trying to be stern myself. His face was blank and his mouth was set in a straight line.

“No, you’re coming with me. Stop being so stubborn and get your sweet ass in my car.” He took my face in his hands and kissed me, firmly and longingly. I was losing my battle to be a bitch.

“Yeah, get your ass in the car!” Tayla yelled out the door of the boutique. I flipped her off and let Zaine walk me to the car. As I got in, he turned me around and looked in my eyes.

“Lan, I will never let you go again, not by choice. So please, instead of running away from me without talking, come to me first. Give me a chance to fix what I’ve done to you, okay? That’s all I ask.” I felt tears start to well up in my eyes, and I hugged him tightly. He rubbed my back and kissed me on the forehead.

“Okay, Zaine. I’ll do my best if you do yours,” I said.

“I’ll do anything to be with you, Lan,” he said softly. God, I was in trouble.

We arrived at the airport, where the car let us out on the tarmac. I thought I was seeing things, because I saw the most sleek jet before me with the name BROOKS down
the side. My jaw dropped as I stared at the plane. I was starting to realize that my Mr. Brooks had more money than he had told me. Although that was fabulous, it wasn’t why I’d wanted him in the first place. I would have wanted to be with him if he lived in a shack in the mountains and milked goats for a career. “Babe, are you ok?” he asked, waving his hand in front of my face. I snapped out of my thoughts.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I am just shocked about your plane. It’s yours?”

“Well, it’s mine and my brothers’. I got a good deal on it.” I smiled at him as Max came around to get our bags. “Wait until you see the inside. We had it redone so it would be comfortable whenever we travelled. We’re sometimes on the road for a week at a time, so we tried to make it as homey as possible.”

When we boarded the jet, I was not disappointed. I immediately noticed the sleek black leather plush seats with amazingly soft throws on them, and a small bar with all the booze you could think of and nice variety of wines. Just past the bar on one side was a small lounge with a large flat screen and a good stash of movies. On the other side was another door that led into a lavish master bedroom with an attached bathroom. Looking around, I noticed a small box with my name on it on the bed. I couldn’t help but pick it up, shaking it like a kid on Christmas morning. I didn’t notice Zaine leaning against the door until I heard him chuckling to himself.

“Oh …. Hey,” was all I could think to say as I set the box back down on the bed.

“I know it’s killing you wondering what’s in that little box,” he said. “Why don’t you just rip it open?” I smiled at him as he crossed the room and handed me the box. I untied the bow and pulled a little black box out of the white one. When I opened it I caught my breath and covered my mouth. I was gazing upon the most beautiful pair of princess-cut diamond earrings, with small rubies all around them.

“Zaine these are...these are amazing,” I gasped.

“I wanted to get you something that no one else has, and I knew they would look amazing on those beautiful ears of yours.” He leaned into me and grazed my ear with his teeth. It sent a shiver down my spine and I couldn’t help but turn into him and kiss him. He took my mouth with a need and slipped his tongue in, deepening the kiss. Moaning, I grabbed the nape of his neck and pulled him to me. He backed me up to the bed and we fell backwards onto it. He put his hand inside my blouse and slowly grazed my breast. Then he started grinding his swelling cock against me, just as needy as I was. We were interrupted by a small knock on the door.

“Excuse me, Mr. Brooks. We’re ready to take off. Could you please put your seat belts on?” came a voice that I assumed was the pilot. Damn, I thought, we haven’t even taken off yet and we were already grinding on the bed!

“Yeah, we’ll be out in a minute,” Zaine called. “Sorry, babe. To be continued?”

“It better be. I don’t know if we’ll make it to take-off at this rate,” I said as I pulled myself together. Smiling he pulled me up off the bed and gave me quick peck on the cheek.

I stopped in the doorway to the main cabin. “Where’s Ryan? I thought he was coming with us,” I asked.

“He’s taking a later flight. We were originally going to leave tonight, remember? When I changed the flight to this afternoon, he couldn’t make it. He’ll join us tomorrow.” We made our way to our seats and Zaine put his hand on my leg. As we were preparing for take-off, his cell phone rang. He answered it, spoke to someone on the other end for about a minute, then hung up abruptly. His brow furrowed in concern, and I could tell something was wrong.

“Zaine, are you okay?” I asked. He grabbed my hand and kissed my palm.

“Yeah, babe, I couldn’t be better. I was just thinking about some business I have to take care of when we get there, that’s all.”

“Well stop it. We’re not there yet, so the only thing you should be thinking of taking care of is me,” I said, doing my best flirtatious routine. “When can we get back to the bedroom?” With a small growl he crushed his lips to mine.

About a half-hour later the pilot announced that could move around again. Zaine picked me up and carried me over his shoulder to the cabin. Setting me down gently on the bed, he leaned over me and started taking off my clothes. I couldn’t wait, and stripped down myself, then moved to unbutton his shirt. He took it off along with his pants and threw them across the room.

“God Lan, I am going to make love to you the whole flight there. You have no idea.” I was not about to stop him—that’s what I’d hoped we would do anyway. He pulled down my thong and tossed it over his shoulder. Pulling me to the edge of the bed he placed each of my legs over his shoulders and looked up at me and smiled. “Why don’t we skip dinner and go straight for dessert?” With that he disappeared between my legs and starting licking me between my folds. I was so wet with anticipation. “You taste so good,” he said. “I have wanted to taste you all day. I love your pussy.” I started to gyrate my hips and I couldn’t take it anymore.

“I need you in me now, Zaine.” He didn’t disappoint. I heard the tearing of the condom wrapper and watched him sheath himself. Within seconds he was fucking me with such force I knew I would feel it for days. “Oh Zaine, I love the way you feel inside me. Don’t stop, please.” He picked up his pace and I could feel myself tighten around his shaft. I was ready to explode.

“Come with me Lan, I want to watch you,” he whispered in my ear. I screamed out his name and could feel his cock pulsing inside me. We finished together and just lay there, our bodies dripping with sweat.

“Stay here, I’ll be right back,” he instructed. He ran to the bathroom to get rid of the condom and came back and jumped in the bed, pulling me close to him. God, I loved this man! I had for a long time. I just wanted him close to me.

“Thanks for coming with me, Lan,” he whispered. “I have a few surprises for you when we get to London. I can’t wait to spend time with you.” I lifted my head up onto his hard chest, kissing around his nipples.

“You mean to tell me that the earrings weren’t my only surprise?” I asked.

I heard a small growl from his throat, a noise I had come to love. “Babe, you have no idea. I was busy all morning making sure this trip is like a dream for you.”

“Zaine, you don’t have to buy my affection or spoil me,” I said. “I would be with you if you didn’t have all this, if we were on a regular plane with stale pretzels and a bad movie. As long as I’m with you, that’s all I need.”

Zaine sighed with contentment. “That’s what I love about you. You don’t give a shit about how much something costs or whether you’re wined and dined.”

“Hold up there, big guy, I do like to be wined and dined,” I said quickly. “I’m just an easy-going person. As long as no one is dying or sick or starving, I can make do with what I have. Money isn’t everything.”

“Well, I’ll have to reward you for your lack of gold-digging then, won’t I?” he flipped me on to my back and rested his body on top of mine, and gave me rewards all the way to London.

The time came for us to land at the airport. After a quick breakfast, Zaine and I walked out onto the tarmac. Waiting for us was a black SUV and of course, Max. “Good morning, Max. Fancy meeting you here,” I joked. Max laughed at me.

“I was on the plane with you, but I stay in the cockpit so you wouldn’t have seen me.” God was there nothing this man didn’t do? Zaine pressed against my back to usher me into the SUV. Taking my seat, I noticed another small box on the middle console. I looked at Zaine and a smile crept across his face.

“I know you’re dying to open it, so do it.” he directed. I reached for the box and shook it. “Are you going to shake every box you find?”

“I might. Wait... are there more boxes?” I asked with delight.

“You’ll have to see. Open it.” I took the lid off the box to find a key inside. Looking up at Zaine, I could only imagine what it opened.

“Well, are you going to tell me what this key is for?” I asked.
<
br />   “Nope. You’ll just have to wait and see.” We drove from the airport into the country, and the scenery was amazing. Small villages dotted the landscape, and through the trees we could catch glimpses of a river that Zaine said was the Thames. We pulled into a quaint village called Weybridge, about 30 minutes from London, and drove up to a large cottage just outside of town. It was stone and looked very old, with an amazing walkway filled with a beautiful array of wildflowers. We walked up the path to the door, where Zaine stopped and turned to me.

”Well, are you going to let us in?” he questioned.

It took me a moment to realize what he meant. “The key is for the house?” I replied.

“Yes it is, so open the door.”

“Well, aren’t we pushy all of a sudden,” I laughed. Moving past him, I unlocked the door and was immediately taken aback by the beauty of the cottage and the arrangements of wildflowers that filled it. There was a large staircase just inside the door, and I couldn’t help but run up it like a little kid. Upstairs, I opened the first door and walked into an ornate bedroom with beautiful French doors that opened onto a balcony overlooking the river. Zaine came up behind me and put his arms around my waist.

  “You like it?” he asked.

“I love it!” I gasped. “Where did you find such a beautiful house to rent?”

“I kind of own this house,” he replied.

I turned to stare at him for a moment, not quite believing what I’d heard. “This is your house?” I asked with surprise.

“Yeah, the only smart thing to do was get one here. It’s cheaper than staying in a hotel and as often as I’m here, I figured I should get one,” he explained.
