coughing violently. He watches as Jinnee stops her coughing with form becoming still followed by her body form shredding backwards turning into a female Charon who abruptly sits up from the bed staring at him. Jinks gets his senses blare a warning sensing that she is aware of what happened to she and still has her memories intact. Jinks eyes the female Charon as a male Charon comes into view to place a hand on her shoulder while speaking in foreign language a long talk.
Jinks think “I’m isn’t sure what was said but thinks the male is telling the new Charon about the Charon race along with rules about living as a Charon.”
Jinks sees the new Charon nod her head as the male finishes his chat. He hears Victoria wailing a cry sounding like she’s upset feels himself freed from the Charon hands goes to the crib to lift up the baby and cradles her to his chest. Jinks sits in a chair and holds the child who seems to stop her wailing but he senses that she’s still upset gently rocks her in his arms. He sees and senses his rocking motions is putting Victoria to sleep who stops being upset to be soothed by his motions to fall asleep. He gently gets up and places her in the crib then puts a hand on her stomach feeling her breathe underneath his hand as he stares at his daughter feeling satisfied having him touching her. He senses Victoria sleeping soundly removes his hand to rub her cloth capped covered head then rubs a finger on her cheek.
Jinks thinking to he “I’m feeling like my father is right on having me raise my daughter for its giving me a purpose in life.”
Jinks go back to bed falls asleep only to hear the alarm sounding its noises. Jinks eyes the clock to see its four o’clock in the morning and a Charon shuts off the alarm while points at the crib. Jinks hears Victoria’s hungry cry sounds and gets up from the bed heading towards the fridge to grab a bottle then goes to the crib. Jinks picks up Victoria from the crib and sits in the wing back chair to feed her milk from the bottle while looking around the room to see the lamp is still on but the Charon he senses are hiding in the room invisible to his eyes. He feeds Victoria who drinks all of the milk then he burps her. Jinks then senses she wants to have him still hold her carries her to the bed to adjust the pillow against the headboard. Jinks sits on the bed leaning back against the pillow with back on it and pulls the blankets on him till their up to his waist with one hand. He feels himself tired places the baby on his lap with an arm cradling her to him and a hand on her stomach shuts his eyes falling asleep. He passes out unconscious comes to hearing Victoria crying again senses that she’s again hungry eyes the clock to see it says six o’clock in the morning. Jinks gets up carrying Victoria to get a bottle from the fridge and carries her to the chair which he sits and feeds her milk then once done burps her. He carries her to the crib sensing she’s fallen asleep and places her inside it to stare at his daughter sleeping. Jinks go back to bed and falls asleep passing out unconscious and wakes up to hear the alarm again sounding.
Jinks stared at the clock seeing it says eight o’clock and debates with himself “If I should get up or stay in bed.”
Jinks feels hungry gets up heading to the shower which he takes then puts on some clothes and sneakers then grabs Victoria out of her crib who keeps on sleeping.
Jinks carried her to the bedroom doors to open one and spots Gustav standing with “What do you want?” look on his face.
Jinks remembering Victoria spoke “I ask about the fridge holding milk and where in the residence are they besides my bedroom?”
The butler replies “They have been placed in not so seen areas in the penthouse in different rooms that require them. They are to be restocked with milk bottles every night. Mostly if the Master to feed the baby along with multiple cribs placed in different areas around the penthouse for the baby to sleep in including other baby needs items.”
Jinks nod his head towards Gustav getting his words then speak “I have decided to name the baby Victoria Katherine Montreal.” which he sees the butler nod his head with an approval look in the man’s eyes.
He frowns to walk to the dining room to spot a bassinet crib next to the chair he sits in at the dining room table and looks around the room to spot a fridge in the corner identical to the one in his bedroom. Jinks put Victoria in the bassinet that doesn’t stir but keeps on sleeping. He sits at the table waiting as Jacqueline arrives with a tray of food which he finds himself very hungry eats all the food and drinks all the drink and once done sits back to turn his attention to the bassinet. He gets up to eye Victoria who wails out an upset tone which he lifts her up and carries her out of the dining room while sensing her calming down from being held in his arms. He carries her to the TV room which he sits on the couch leaning back and cradles Victoria to his chest while holding her in his arms. He feels himself tired places the baby on his lap with an arm around her and his other hand on her stomach leans his head back and shuts his eyes falling asleep.
Jinks come to sensing a particular smell originating from Victoria looks around the room to spot a changing table in the corner. Jinks carries her to putting her on it and riffles through the drawers to find everything he needs to change her diaper which he strips her of her clothes leaving her cap on. He changes her diaper sensing she’s not complaining from it by Victoria being quiet with eyes open staring at him. Jinks cleans her with easily trashed wet wipe cloths from a plastic box which he sticks in the trash can next to the changing table and tosses her soiled diaper in it. Jinks after cleaning Victoria puts on her new diaper and then puts on her clothes and fixes the blanket back on her to lift her up cradling her to his chest.
He wanders out of the TV room to meet the butler who tells him “I was told by the doctor by phone when discussing Victoria that Master should limit Victoria’s exposure to people. It’s just to keep her from catching people’s illnesses for awhile. Till the doctor determines that Victoria’s immune system can handle being exposed to people. She’ll require doctor visits for immunity shots against some certain illnesses.”
Jinks recalls his time raising Robert after his son was born remembers his son getting monthly doctor visits till he was a year old with some of them requiring needle syringe shots figures out that Victoria will need the same thing. He nods his head and wanders to the library room which he sits in an armchair next to a bassinet crib while putting Victoria on his lap to lean back in the chair eyes on her. He spots a fridge in the corner along with a changing table next to it and a trash can besides it. Jinks feels himself tired gets up and places a sleeping Victoria in the bassinet crib then goes to the armchair next to it and leans back shutting his eyes falling asleep. He passes out unconscious to come too feeling a hand shaking his shoulder and hearing Victoria’s hungry cry sounds again. Jinks jerks open his eyes to see Gustav remove his hand from his shoulder with a frown on the butler’s eyes that gesture towards the bassinet. Jinks gets up to the bassinet picking up Victoria and heading towards the fridge taking out a bottle full of milk and goes to the armchair to sit putting the bottle’s nipple in the baby’s mouth watching her suck the contents from it. He again pats her back to burp her after she sucks all of the milk from the bottle. Jinks holds the baby in his arms to stare at her in the face while sensing her aware of him staring at her watches as she opens her eyes showing them Human blue eyes like his appearing to be studying him as he stares at her. He sees her eyes change all black. His senses blare telling him she has the Master Powers herself by her eyes changing color. He feels compelled to show the Master to her wills it through to stare at her with it running through him. He eyes Victoria who gives off a giggle sound then sees her eyes change color to Human blue eyes which he wills the Master away from him. Jinks hear a throat clearing noise looks up to spot Gustav at the doorway who speaks “There’s a female visitor with a card that has requested the Master to read the card’s contents which the guards already seen.”
He looks down at Victoria and hears Gustav speak “I’ll watch the baby for the Master who can make his time away from the baby short. The female visitor isn’t interested in staying very lon
g.”
Jinks gets up and places Victoria in the bassinet and then bents down to kiss her forehead seeing her eyes close which he walks out of the library room pass the butler to take a route to the elevator which he takes to the lobby. He sees the brunette female who had the Master power of manipulating people by skin is there holding a card with eyes staring at the floor looking like she’s frowning.
He goes to her and takes the card from her whom he reads “You have my sympathy! For the Master’s wife’s passing!” and a note inside saying “Hoping the Master can heal from the passing with a purpose in life.”
He hands the card to a guard and goes up to her which the female holds up her left hand showing a ring on her ring finger and says “I’m married.”
He gently takes her ringed finger hand and kisses it then releases it to speak “Thank you and for reminding me that there’s always a purpose to keep me living whether I knows it or not.”
He sees the female nod her head while having her eyes still staring at the floor with a frown still on her face.
Jinks speak “You have been forgiven for your actions.” and
