He stared at Victoria who looked up speaking “Impossible! That’s you in that book but no Human has lived that long.”
He sighed and spoke “I’m considered a human God remember?”
He saw her expression change to shock on her face while gasping at him.
Jinks spoke in a soft firm tone “Victoria.”
He saw her shake her head before removing the gaping look from her face turning into a frown.
Jinks sighed softly as she stared at him before she spoke “Oh dear this explains some things I’ve heard while at school such as them mentioning you as a former Mayor of the city who went on to be elected King after holding several office positions in a fifteen year period.”
He nodded his head as Victoria paused which he spoke “What you heard is true and I’m not kidding on that.”
He saw her eyes become widen eyed as he continued to speak “I’ve lived very long without aging and I’ve seen and done many things over the years as I lived outliving people who I consider family. I’ll be sure to tell you about the things one of those days.”
Jinks see Victoria look understanding dismisses her which she leaves. He sits to sigh and feels like doing karate goes to the gym room to practice. He senses Victoria standing in the doorway watching him and glimpses her face seeing she looks awed seeing him do karate. He recalls that its not the first time she’s seen him do karate and her facial expression is always the same when she watches him. He finishes with a bow towards the mirror wall to sense her gone from the doorway and hears a meow sound curious which he looks to spot Willow sitting in the doorway look like she’s sniffing with her nose before walking into the room towards him. He watches her as she goes up to him and rubs her flanks on his leg which he bents down and pets her feeling her back arch underneath his hand. He sighs and goes to the library room to finish his book reading part of it with Willow sitting on his lap.
Gustav arrives to say “The time of nine o’clock.”
Jinks puts the book down and hits his bedroom going to bed with the cat again sitting on him and sleeps dreaming of Lance who tells him “You have to flaunt Victoria to the public just so she’ll get protection from people who are getting suspicious of her being your daughter and might harm her.”
Jinks spoke “I don’t agree.” but were forced to agree by Lance as his father steps back putting a hand on his mouth for quiet.
Jinks sees Victoria appear with back to him while wearing a black dress with her hair down.
He hears Lance spoke “I introduce myself as Master Lance Richard.” which he hears Victoria sound a little shocked by her commenting “It was assumed that my father was the Master.”
Lance tells her “Your father is a vessel of me.” without going into detail for that comment and then tells her “Your father has to flaunt you to the public in exchange of getting you protected from people who might cause harm to you.”
He hears Victoria “I agree.” by mentioning “I have been seeing a van with some people in it looking like they’ve done something bad might do further bad things hanging around the school and sensed them watching me.”
He hears Lance speak “I’ll handle those people that nothing bad will happen to you as long as your father protects you from harm with the help of people.”
He frowns as Victoria comments “Ok” comment then disappears from view.
Jinks stares at Lance who speaks “I’ll handle the van and its occupants and make sure that the police is aware of It.” before getting his eyes forced shut.
Jinks waked up by alarm gets up gets dressed and then walks to the dining room to eat and then wanders into the kitchen to sit while hearing silence from the servants.
He frowns as he hears the phone ring hears Jacqueline go to answer it “Montreal residence.”
Jinks doesn’t pay attention to the conversation which he gets a tap on his shoulder from Jacqueline who tells him in a creep out voice “Some guy called and said that they had Victoria and was threatening harm to her if her father didn’t come to a location alone on the docks near an address with information about transferring his money from his account to their account.”
He feels himself go dead hearing that as Jacqueline adds telling him “You use the numbers ten and thirty one as your pin number for the bank account transfer.”
He sees a look in her eyes that he doesn’t register as he leaves the penthouse to the garage to get into a car with a driver driving it and car takes him to the docks. Jinks gets out and starts walking to the address he’s told to hear a door sliding open.
Jinks wound up spotting a man wearing a ski mask pointing a hand gun at him on his right “I’m ordering him to go inside!”
Jinks does to spot Victoria underneath a spotlight wearing a blind fold and form still while appearing to be knocked out unconscious and tied up. He sees two other ski mask men as in one next to Victoria and another at a table with electronic equipment.
The ski man next to Victoria holding a gun spoke “I orders him to give up his pin number for the bank transfer.” which he does giving the numbers Jacqueline told him.
He hears from the guy at the table saying “The downloading is slow.” as he wills the darkness through to walk towards the guy next to Victoria who spoke “I orders him to stay away.” but is told “Just let him examine her.” by his companion that is behind Jinks which he goes to his daughter as the ski man walks away.
He feels Victoria to realize that it’s a mannequin made to look like her as he stands up to see the ski man meters away from him have gun pointed at him who fires the gun three times. Jinks catches the bullets then throws them at the man who reacts in pain acting like he’s shot before dropping the gun and hitting the floor with form going still. He wills the Master through to glare at the ski man’s companion near the door that has a freaked out look in his eyes. The man he sees pulls open the door which he orders paralysis to hit the man and watches him crumble up then goes to the man at the table who has back to him and hits him on the head from behind knocking him out. He goes to the paralysis man kicks him in the head knocking him out and leaves to the car which he spots seven teenagers holding guns standing nearby and the car looking like it was shot with damage done and the driver inside appearing to be unconscious from the slumped over form on the wheel. He gets a rage episode comes to find his left leg stinging and all the teenagers are on the ground unconscious as the Master and Darkness are willed away from him and he hears sirens of police and ambulances that arrive. Jinks ordered to get into an ambulance for the bullet in his leg that gets taken out without complaint from him. Jinks get told to go into a swat van who’ll take him to his home building which he gets in and sits noticing that the men look awed to see him. Arriving at his building the men get out and block off the crowd forming an aisle for him to walk to the building going under the barricade and inside the building which he takes the elevator to the penthouse and to see Gustav looking relieved to see him.
He absent mildly listens as the butler says “Jacqueline called the school to see if Victoria was in it. They said that she arrived safe and is currently attending classes at the moment.”
He doesn’t acknowledge the butler goes to the gym room to punch the punching bag then gets weary goes to his bedroom to yank off his clothes and puts on his pajamas which he gets into bed and passes out unconscious.
Jinks senses during his sleep as he pops in and out of unconsciousness state needles attached to him such as one in his arm and one in his leg where the bullet was and passes out unconscious falling asleep till he hears the alarm wakes up to discover he slept for over twenty four hours. He gets up gets dressed and goes to the dining room to spot Victoria there that confuses him
As his daughter noticing his confusion speaks “Today’s the first day of the two day weekend.”
Jinks recalls the date nods his head and eats his food ravenous
ly then goes to the library to finish reading his book.
He finishes it and puts it away disturbing Willow off his lap and hears Victoria at the door speaking “I wants to show myself to the public outside. I want my father there to help me be brave for that.”
Jinks don’t comment nods his head and follows her to the lobby taking a route to there and then once in the lobby spoke “I orders Victoria to wait while I goes out and checks the situation then will gesture you to come out.”
He goes out to see the crowd who’s reaction is the same as before with cops there and wills both the darkness and master through to hear the crowd gasp seeing his eyes change color then he turns sideways and signals Victoria to come out. He stands keeping himself alert as the crowd gives off a gasp seeing Victoria. Jinks put a hand on her shoulder and find his eyes drawn to a couple in the crowd which he stiffens with recognition in him. He sees the female is Natasha Novgorod and the male is her husband Madisoni who is standing behind her hands on her shoulders. He sees Natasha look a little happy seeing Victoria as Madisoni looks sad.
Jinks lip reads the male whisper in Natasha’s ear the comment “She’s beautiful.” which he sees Natasha look a little sad.
He eyes them and senses Victoria become uncomfortable with his hand on her shoulder guides her away from the crowd and
