"You taught him that," Trevor said grinning at Diego.

"A kid needs to know these things," Diego said.

"What about professors who are ladies?" Trevor asked Jamie.

"I asked Dad about the professor ladies, and he said they don't have to," Jamie said seriously.

After that, it was time to put Zane to bed. Trevor carried him to Jamie's room and set him down in the playpen.

"Does Zane want my Shrek pillow?" Jamie asked in a whisper and held up the pillow for Trevor to see.

Trevor looked at the green face with its toothy grin. "No. Kids Zane's age don't need to sleep with pillows."

Jamie was in his pajamas and he got into bed to pretend to sleep too. This time he didn't actually fall asleep until it was his usual bedtime. That's when he hugged Trevor and Diego and said goodnight. Diego took him to sleep on that terrible, green pillow. After a while Diego came back to report that both boys were sleeping soundly.

"How can he sleep with his face on that pillow? Doesn't it give him nightmares?" Trevor asked as Diego came to sit right next to him on the couch.

"Jamie has to have his Shrek-faced pillow," Diego said and put his arm around him. "We're big Shrek fans in this family. Shrek 2 in particular. It's because of Puss in Boots. My dad tells me I owe my existence to Antonio Banderas. My mom was a big fan of his. Dad says that by the time he started dating Mom, all he had to do to win her over was to show up."

"So your dad looks like Antonio Banderas?" Trevor said.

"In his own mind, he does. And maybe in my mom's mind too. They're still completely in love with each other and totally insufferable about it. When I was a teenager, I couldn't wait to move away. Now I wish I lived closer to them for Jamie's sake. They adore Jamie. I wouldn't get any time with my own son if they lived any closer though."

"That sounds like quite a family," Trevor told him.

"We'll let you borrow them. They should be coming for a visit before the end of summer. Then we'll do the whole meeting the parents ritual," Diego told him with wicked glee in his eyes.

  Trevor groaned.

"But before that ordeal, we have to go on our first official date. Lance agreed to babysit, but we have to be back before eight o'clock. He has to go to work," Diego told him.

Trevor got nervous right away. He had gone on very few dates, and none of them meant much to him. This was his first date with Diego. It seemed like a huge milestone.

"You look petrified," Diego told him. Turning to face him more fully, he took both of Trevor's hands in his. "I promise this will be the most underwhelming, first date ever and not worth getting nervous about at all."

"You have an interesting sales pitch," Trevor told him with a laugh.

  "Is that a yes?"

"I didn't know it was a question. Yes, of course. I'd love to go on an underwhelming, first date with you," Trevor told him and kissed him.

"Now let's go test out how big my bed is," Diego told him. Standing up he pulled Trevor to his feet.

"Isn't it too early?" Trevor asked after looking at the time.

"If we were going to sleep, it would be," Diego told him.

They entered Diego's bedroom already caught up in a passionate embrace. Locking the door, they made their way to the bed still kissing. Trevor pulled off Diego's shirt and he did the same for him. Their shirts were off and flying to land on the floor. Half naked now, they fell into bed.

Trevor mumbled against Diego's lips, "It's big enough."

Diego tried to make a dick joke, but Trevor kissed him deeper to shut his gorgeous, dirty mouth. He pulled him down on top of him and pushed his hands up Diego's back to feel his muscles. Diego's hands were in his hair, his tongue exploring him, claiming his mouth.

Trevor slid his fingers down and over Diego's ass. He didn't want to feel the fabric of his jeans. He wanted skin. Flipping Diego on his back, he sat up. He moved down to plant his ass on Diego's muscular thighs and unbuttoned his fly.

  "Yours too," Diego ordered him.

"Yes, sir," Trevor told him and leaned in to give him a kiss. Then he did as he was told though it made his face turn red as he exposed himself like that. He couldn't worry about his embarrassment though. He had to have Diego.

He shifted down until he could bend down and take him in his mouth. His mind reeled at the sensation of letting Diego's cock enter his mouth suddenly like that. He had taken it slowly last time. This time he felt ravenous.

What did he really want tonight that he was rushing like this? His overheated brain kept going back to one thing. He wanted Diego inside him. He sucked and licked Diego while obsessing about being fucked by him. He finally raised his head and said it. "Tonight I want you to fuck me."

Waves of embarrassment hit him but he didn't care. All he wanted was for Diego to say yes.

Diego didn't say anything at first, cruelly keeping him in suspense. Then he sat up and looked into his eyes. "You sure?" he said.

"Yes," Trevor said. He hooked a hand around his neck and kissed him.

While they kissed, Diego rolled them over so that he was on top. His mouth left Trevor's, moving down to kiss his throat and every inch of his chest. Diego's hands were busy pulling Trevor's jeans and boxers down. His lips were around Trevor's left nipple, his tongue flicking.

Trevor's other nipple got the same treatment before Diego moved down. His hand wrapped around the base of Trevor's cock while his tongue glided all around the head then down. Trevor loved it but he didn't want to come without feeling Diego inside him.

"Please, you have to fuck me. Diego, please." As the words left his mouth, Trevor blushed even more. He never imagined he would be shameless enough to beg to be fucked.

After a few more licks, Diego pulled off his cock and raised himself up so that he could reach his bedside drawer. Scared but impatient, Trevor panted. While Diego leaned over him getting condoms and lube, Trevor couldn't leave him alone. He was too tempting.

Trevor groped him and pulled his jeans the rest of the way off his ass so he could grope him some more. God, Diego felt amazing all over, muscular and strong, skin smooth and hot under his touch.

Diego grunted and took his jeans all the way off and Trevor's too. He then moved to straddle Trevor's naked thighs. Without waiting, Trevor freed his legs from him. He put one foot on Trevor's shoulder. He pulled his other leg up, knee to his chest and hooked his arm around it.

"Someone is eager," Diego teased him.

  "I'm going crazy," Trevor admitted.

  "Not nervous?"

"That too. I'm feeling everything right now," Trevor told him. Every contradictory emotion was swirling inside him.

"You're about to feel a lot more," Diego warned him then he lubed a finger and teased his hole with the fingertip before gently pushing in.

  Trevor moaned, "That feels good."

"How about this?" Diego asked and pushed in with one more finger.

"Yes," was all Trevor could utter as Diego pumped in and out and sparks went off inside him. "More, please," he begged after a few more thrusts of his fingers.

Diego obliged him and now Trevor was writhing under him, dying for him.

"You look so hot right now, Trevor. I want you so much," Diego growled and he leaned down to kiss him.

The kiss didn't last and Trevor was left trembling with need as he watched Diego put on a condom. His legs felt weak as his skin tingled and unbearable anticipation coursed all through him. Diego pushed his ass higher with one strong hand and guided his rock hard cock to his hole with the other.

Trevor gritted his teeth then told himself to relax, but the wait was excruciating. He was feverish with need. Diego finally pressed in, and Trevor felt time stop. More pressure, more waves of heat passing through him, and Trevor felt stars burst behind his fluttering eyelids.

Diego was filling him up with a surge of muscle and power. It was incredible. The feeling made Trevor's back arch right off the bed. Another thrust and Diego pinned him down right into the mattress.<

"You're mine," he said and with one final shove he was all the way inside him.

Trevor lost his mind to how good it felt then groaned when Diego started to pull back like he would turn him inside out. Another thrust followed going deep inside him. This was it. This was the feeling he had been dreaming about since he knew what sex was. It was a feeling no other man could give him.

Diego filled him up with slow, deliberate thrusts over and over again, like he would never stop. The deep fucking lasted so long, it made Trevor incoherent, begging for release in choked off whispers.

He was burning up. His mind was slipping away. All he knew were the excruciating sensations prickling all over his body and Diego's voice in his ear obscene and beautiful.

The molten heat in Diego's eyes turned more feral and he started pumping faster. The pounding of his body against Trevor's shook his bones, shattered him. So much power, Trevor never felt anything like it. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't.

"Come for me," Diego told him and Trevor obeyed, his come hitting them both as they found release in each other.

Trevor was cursing in a hoarse whisper, not able to scream Diego's name like he wanted to. His breathing, rough, his hands still restless, he groped Diego as he cleaned them up. The second he was done, Trevor pulled him down on top of him and gave him a long, lazy kiss.

Diego rolled them over so they were side by side, but still entwined, inseparable. He must have known that Trevor couldn't stay conscious much longer. Trevor wasn't sure if he passed out or fell asleep. It might have been either one. All he knew was that it was the best exhaustion of his life and that the only way he ever wanted to sleep was in Diego's arms.

  Chapter 17

On the evening of their first date, Diego gave Jamie his dinner early. Since Lance was babysitting him and Zane, Diego didn't want him to have to worry about feeding him. He would have his hands full. Jamie did fine eating the chicken fingers Diego made, but now he was struggling with a few beans he had left.

"You want to finish before Trevor and Zane get here, don't you?" Diego told him. Trevor had texted that they were on their way.

Jamie didn't touch his beans as he looked up at Diego. "Dad, I'm always forgetting that Trevor isn't Zane's dad. That he's a cousin."

Diego smiled. "I know what you mean. He's so much like Zane's dad. He takes care of him and he loves him just like I love you. And if Trevor adopts Zane like I adopted you, he will be Zane's dad."

"That's good. Zane is already calling him Dadadadada."

"Now eat those beans," Diego told him just as he heard a knock on the door. He let Trevor and Zane in and they all went to the kitchen.

"Still eating? I already gave Zane his dinner too," Trevor said as he sat Zane down to hang on to one of the kitchen chairs and explore its many mysteries.

"I have to eat the beans," Jamie said and gave Trevor a tragic look.

"That's the deal we made," Diego confirmed.

Jamie stared down at his plate miserably. On his plate were exactly three white beans. With a sigh Jamie picked up one of them and bit it in half. He then grimaced the whole time he chewed on that half a bean. The other half was also a major production with sighing, grimacing and prolonged chewing.

Trevor seemed entranced by the whole agonizing process. He noticed Diego watching him watch Jamie. "I can't look away," Trevor admitted.

"You're in for that too," Diego predicted as he went to the door again when the doorbell sounded. "It might not be beans, but it will be something."

As expected, Lance was at the door and he let him in. When he got back, Jamie was done with those beans and ready to put his plate in the dishwasher. Zane saw him open it and went over to explore. To keep him out of trouble, Trevor picked him up. Now Zane was reaching down for Jamie.

"I'll help you out," Diego said. He picked up Jamie and held him up so Zane could make a grab for him then moved him out of reach. Both Jamie and Zane giggled and screamed.

Lance stopped and leaned in the doorway. "Look at this happy family picture," he said and got out his phone to get it on video.

Jamie jumped down from Diego's arms and told Lance, "Dad said Trevor is gonna be a dad too then they can be two dads and they can get married like Kiki's two dads."

"Is that right?" Lance said and looked at Trevor and Diego with amusement.

"Did you hear him? Chip off the old block," Diego said proudly.

Since he didn't know what that meant, Jamie looked confused. He turned to Trevor and told him, "Dad wants to marry a guy and you're a guy."

"Are you playing matchmaker?" Trevor asked him.

"No. Is that a game?" Jamie asked.

Lance was the one who answered him. "Kind of. You look all around and find guys for your dad to marry."

Jamie looked from Lance to Trevor. "I pick Trevor," he announced. Then he grabbed hold of his hand and Diego's hand.

"It's all over for you but the wedding bells," Lance pronounced. "If Jamie could officiate, you'd be married already."

"Did I win?" Jamie asked looking up at all three of them in turn.

"Yes, you won." Diego ruffled Jamie's hair. "I think we better head out so we can get back before Lance has to go."

"If Zane doesn't seem too sleepy, let him stay up. Sometimes he won't go to sleep if I'm not here. I'll put him to bed when we get back. Call if you need anything, and thank you for doing this," Trevor said in that heartfelt way he had of always being grateful whenever anyone did anything for him.

"It's no problem. Us guys will have fun and you guys will have fun," Lance said then he and the kids walked them to the door.

Diego wanted to put Trevor at ease, but that exchange with Jamie, the matchmaker, left him looking a little shell-shocked. The whole way down in the elevator, he eyed Diego suspiciously, like he might be behind it. But that was all Jamie, and it was nice to know that he was on their side. The little guy knew that things felt right when the four of them were together.

Trevor still seemed a little uncertain about any big steps though. That's why this date was supposed to be low key. And that's why Diego was driving them to a place sandwiched between a bowling alley and a movie theater and not a fancy restaurant.

They found themselves in front of a yellow building with an orange stripe going all around and a rooster as its logo. The place was called the Rod and Roost. They were famous for their buffalo wings, popcorn shrimp and hush puppies. That's why the place did brisk business at their takeout window.

As soon as Trevor realized that that's where they were going, he smiled, instantly at ease.

"Mission accomplished," Diego said as they got out of the car.

  "What mission?" Trevor wondered.

"Making you smile. Not making you nervous. That sort of thing," Diego said as he came around the front of his car and took Trevor's hand.

'What's not to smile about? This place looks like fun," Trevor said and Diego loved how that bright smile lit up his eyes.

He was also reminded of how young Trevor was. To someone his age, a date at this kind of place wouldn't be that weird. With Trevor being so reserved and serious, and with all the responsibilities he had taken on, it was easy to forget that he was still so young.

"Did I promise you a casual, no frills date. This is it. Doesn't get more casual than this," Diego said as they went in.

The place was colorful and lively. Music, talk and laughter competed on equal terms. There was a laid-back, happy vibe that promised a good time.

"I should really trust you more," Trevor said as they walked in and Diego gave his name to the hostess.

"Of course you should, but I do get a little crazy around you. It's easy for me to get carried away," Diego leaned in to say, deliberately getting too close to Trevor.

"Aha," Trevor said, but he inched a little closer too as they followed the hostess to their table.

Sitting down, they had menus in their hands, but Diego's focus was on Trevor not food. "I also keep my promises, an
d didn't I promised to treat you to some wings way back when? You could say this date was in the works since I met you."

"I kind of remember that you said you would treat me to wings, but I didn't think you were serious," Trevor told him.

"I'm always serious when it comes to you. And you made me hungry for these suckers since you talked about them. I've been plotting a trip to this place ever since," Diego said and finally started to take an interest in the menu.

"I have no complaints." Trevor said and he did look happy.

"I forgot they had short ribs too," Diego said as he looked at the deadly stuff they were willing to feed him.

"I thought this was strictly a buffalo wing date," Trevor said.

"I should restrain myself, you're right. They have too many dangerous options here," Diego said but he looked past his menu and right at Trevor. What was more dangerous and tempting that his blue-eyed beauty?

After their food arrived, Diego watched him eating then he asked, "Are they good?"

"Yeah," Trevor said and smiled. "On a first date, I'm supposed to ask you about yourself, right? OK. How is your work going? I worry that babysitting Zane is too much on top of working from home."

"It's not that bad. Jamie helps to keep Zane busy. As for my job, most people hand over the loot just to get me off the phone," Diego told him.

"I think you might be a little more persuasive than that. Look at the crazy stuff you've had me doing.'

"I'll do anything for a good cause," Diego told him and took hold of his hand across the table.

Trevor turned his hand over so they fingers were hooked together, then he said, "I was curious about something."

  "Ask anything."

"How did you tell Jamie you were gay? The way Jamie talked about guys getting married made me wonder about that."

Smiling at the memory, Diego told him how that conversation went. "Jamie overheard me saying I was gay so he wanted to know what gay was. I told him, 'I like guys, not girls.' He agreed with that sentiment. 'I don't like girls either.' He likes arguing with them, though," Diego said. "So I told him, 'This is a little bit different. It's a grown-up thing. I think girls are nice, but I want to marry a guy.' Jamie nodded and he agreed, 'It is better to marry a guy.'"
