Warrior's Paradox (Cadi Warriors Book 3) Page 24

He sent a quick message to Ashtoret, Cyprian and Vintor, informing them he was successful.

Tytus then circled mid-air, trained the cruiser’s weapons on the smugglers, and fired a shot over their heads. He was careful not to inadvertently hit Cyprian or Vintor.

An open hatch sensor caught Tytus’ attention. A moment later Bohdan’s body hit the tarmac below, making quite a statement.

“Oh, that’s so gross,” June commented with a gag.

Tytus held the smugglers off, giving Ashtoret a clear path to retreat. There was no reason for the warrior to continue his assault, they’d acquired what they came for. The rest was now up to Cyprian and Vintor. Once Tytus was certain Ashtoret and his crew made a safe retreat, he took off.

“Where are we going?” June asked.

“We’ll pick-up Ashtoret and the other males in a field not far from here,” Tytus replied.

  “What about Cyprian and Vintor?”

“I’m hoping they’re fine. We didn’t do anything to blow their cover.”

June nodded as she relaxed her grip on the armrests of her seat.

“So, the Daimio’s men were able to infiltrate the smugglers?” Feroze asked.

“Yes.” Tytus nodded, then turned to June. “Now that we’re airborne, come here.”

June didn’t hesitate. She hopped out of her seat and ran to him, climbing up in his lap. Tytus relaxed the instant she snuggled into him. Tytus kissed her hair and held her close, as he maneuvered the vessel one handed. The scent and feel of her soothed the agitated beast within.

Thank you, Kali. The Goddess was turning him into a true believer.

  June

“How is Stigand?” June asked Sundara.

“He should heal fine. The medic said what you did helped. Thank you.” Sundara squeezed June’s hand gratefully.

“Good.” June let out the breath she was holding.

June was so relieved how things turned out. She wanted to shout it from the hillside. Not only was everyone going to be okay, but they’d been able to rescue all the Toufik from the hangar.

She turned to look at Tytus and smiled. He and the others were currently unloading the cache of weapons from the cruiser. Nearby a crowd of plantation Toufik were busy greeting the new arrivals.

“I’m glad they’re all staying on the estate. It’ll be crowded, but it makes me feel better,” Sundara smiled at the large group of Toufik.

“The more the merrier,” June replied with a grin.

This was the best situation. Sundara cared and would watch out for them.

A rota arrived carrying the first load of supplies from the camp, which was being relocated to the estate.

“Oh, good the guards are back,” Sundara observed. “Time for last meal,” she hollered, capturing everyone’s attention. “I suppose I should go speak with the regent. He looks lost.”

Poor Feroze did look a bit frazzled.

June grinned as Tytus swaggered towards her. She wrapped her arms around him, unable to get enough. When they traded stories aboard the cruiser, June nearly had a heart attack as he described defeating the two smugglers. She wanted to fawn over his scrapes and bruises, but he’d already playfully swatted her hands away more than once. Tytus lifted her chin, so she focused on his face rather than a nasty cut on his bicep.

“Cyprian reported he and Vintor came out relatively unscathed,” Tytus informed her.

“I’m so glad. So, they’re continuing with the mission?”

  “Yes.”

“I hate that they’re still with those bastards. I wish there was another way to find Riley and the others,” June sighed.

“I know precious.” Tytus squeezed her tight. “Now you told me how you made it out of the mess hall, but how did you manage that explosion in the hangar?”

Tytus hadn’t been pleased when she related how she escaped the dining hall, only to fall into Bohdan’s clutches. Unlike the explosion, that hadn’t worked out as she hoped.

  “Let me show you.”

June tugged Tytus by the hand and they snuck off towards one of the dulcis warehouses. She opened the door and led him in.

  “See that?”

  “The fertilizer,” Tytus replied.

“There wasn’t just sugar on those wagons. Science is a beautiful and sometimes volatile thing,” June said with an ornery grin.

Tytus doubled over as he laughed. The sound made her deliriously happy. June couldn’t help but giggle at the sight of him. It was so good to laugh after what they’d been through.

Tytus’ expression suddenly turned serious as he backed June into the wall. June drew in a sharp breath at the abrupt shift in mood.

“Remind me to keep a close eye on you,” Tytus husked as he looked down at her with those intense dark eyes.

His hand moved up her thigh, easing her skirt up, along with it. His mouth dipped to nuzzle her neck.

“Tytus what are you doing?” June squeaked. “In here? What if someone comes?”

“Someone will come,” he growled the entendre, before nipping her neck.

June felt the liquid heat from his shallow bite work through her.

Oh, he’s wicked, June writhed. She tipped her head and gripped his shoulders, giving in to his prurient demand.

“You taste like the dulcis, but better,” he rumbled.

His tongue laved her neck, as his hand reached the apex of her thighs. Tytus’ fingers slid through her moisture, finding her clit. He rolled it skillfully, quickly ratcheting her to a painfully needy state.

“Tytus, I need you,” June whined desperately.

Tytus looked around for a clean place to lay her down, a frown twisting his face when nothing presented itself. June snickered at his frustrated expression.

  “I have an idea.”

“Should I be afraid?” he asked with a sardonic smile.

June dropped to all fours on the ground, and glanced at him over her shoulder.

“Probably,” she demurred while wiggling her behind.

Tytus knelt behind her, looking slightly confused. He ran a large hand down the line of her back, then paused at her tailbone.

“This is a position I never considered,” he growled as he massaged her bottom with his giant palms.

Tytus lifted her skirt, exposing her ass and cleft. June shivered in anticipation. The idea that they were trying something Tytus had never done before, turned her on even more.

“I can see the benefits,” he groaned.

June moaned loud, when his fingers caressed her folds. Her eyes flew to the window, certain someone would interrupt them at any moment. June felt depraved when she realized the peril excited her. She bit her lip to keep from attracting attention anyway.

“You are always wet and ready for me, aren’t you?”

June nodded, unable to reply, as his fingers delved into her pussy, stretching her slowly. She jumped when Tytus pulled his fingers free, and she felt the broad head of his cock run back and forth over her sensitive flesh. He spread her cheeks wider, and June choked as he pressed his cock against the tight ring of her ass.

“Tytus, I don’t think I can handle you there,” she panted.

“Agreed, but you should see the way your slit quivers when I tease your rear,” he growled.

Tytus swiped at the moisture spilling down her thigh, and used it to massage her clit. Meanwhile he continued to rub his crown along the length of her cleft, from her ass to her vagina.

“Please,” June begged as her channel cramped.

Tytus curled over her back, caging her in his arms. The head of his cock bumped at the mouth of her pussy, making her tremble in want. He was teasing her, prolonging her agony.

“Tell me what you want,” Tytus growled in her ear.

June needed him desperately. After everything they’d been through, every part in her being cried out for him.

“Fuck me, Tytus. Fuck me hard and fast, while you play with my clit.”

; Tytus stilled, only his breath could be felt on her neck. June started to worry she’d been too vulgar. This was still so new for both of them.

Then suddenly he bit the crook of her neck as he rammed his cock into her vagina. A cry burst from June’s mouth at his abrupt savage possession.

Tytus reared back, pulling her with him. His one hand muffled her, while his other found her clit. June’s breath heaved from her nose, as Tytus rapidly worked her swollen nub. His hips bucked, shoving him deeper into her strained channel. This was no leisurely penetration, it was zero to sixty in nothing flat.

The liquid bliss from his bite, along with his cock buried to the hilt, overwhelmed June. She struggled in his grasp, but Tytus held her tight. He pumped more of the salacious pheromone into her neck as his cock pulled out, only to ram back in again. The ridges on his shaft abraded her nerve laden walls as his engorged crown slammed into the far reaches of her vagina. He was unhinged; a feral beast driven by lust.

As the glorious agony twisted her in knots, June wondered if she’d survive the rapidly mounting climax. The stabbing twinges of ecstasy arcing from her g-spot and clit, had her shaking uncontrollably.

“I can feel that you are close with the way you’re rhythmically squeezing me. But this time, one climax is not enough. Now that I know how perfectly your hot little body yields to mine, I’m going to wring every ounce of pleasure from you.” Tytus’ voice was so deep, he didn’t sound like himself.

June keened into Tytus’ palm, when he hammered faster and deeper into her body. Her pussy cramped and spasmed as the climax ripped through her, making her back bow and her muscles seize.

True to his ardent threat, Tytus kept thrusting his turgid cock into her constricting channel. Animalistic grunts teased her neck while he tormented her pussy. June’s eyes rolled as her orgasm spiraled. Tytus was driving her towards a deep dark place she’d never ventured into, or imagined.

June reached back. Her fingers grasped at Tytus’ flexing ass, as he penetrated her over and over. She bit into his hand spasmodically. Tytus shoved his thumb into her mouth and June couldn’t keep from tonguing, sucking, and biting it. A torrid madness had ensnared her. She was a slave to the depraved hunger Tytus was dragging from the depths of her being.

Spurred on, Tytus rolled his pelvis, rubbing the engorged head of his cock across her g-spot. At the same time, his finger flicked her clit. A tidal wave of euphoria barreled into June, flinging her headlong into a climax so intense the world burst with a blinding array of colors, and her body seized in a paroxysm of pleasure.

Tytus snarled when he felt an insane gush of desire flood June. She’d never spilt this kind of moisture. It would’ve frightened her, if she weren’t so lost to the delirium. Tytus shoved past her vaginal muscles, that were frozen in ecstasy. His cock kicked as it burst, spraying her womb with his desire.

His hormone laced seed shoved June further. Her mouth opened to let out a broken cry, as tears pushed past her eyes. Her fingers clutched and fluttered at Tytus’ straining hips.

“I love you,” Tytus groaned into her ear.

June gasped a sob as she nodded emphatically. She was entirely unraveled. Tytus’ tender declaration added to the emotional turmoil inundating her. Love. Adoration. Rapture. Fulfilment. All of them washed over her, stealing the ability to summon a single rational word.

Tytus held June against his chest, letting her racing heart calm. He eased out of her spent body, and they both groaned. Tytus adjusted June’s skirt, then swung her up in his arms.

June cast him a goofy smile.

“I can’t wait to get you back to my lab, so I can learn all the ways to make you do that,” Tytus said with a lascivious grin.

June bit her lip as she considered the various ways Tytus would inspect, probe and test her limits, as only he could. June’s fingers twined in his hair, when Tytus’ mouth descended on hers.

I have a few fervid theories of my own to prove, she smiled as he kissed her.

  14 Conclusion

  Cyprian de Praefectus

Cyprian had to repress a smile as he looked at the carnage. Twisted metal littered the entrance of the hangar and smoke still billowed from the smoldering debris. He had no clue what the little human did to cause the explosion, but it was impressive. Not only did it shock the shit out of the smugglers, but it effectively kept them from reaching the cruiser inside, as Tytus commandeered the vessel.

It had been exceedingly difficult to not bellow in triumph when the cruiser took off filled with Toufik, and Ashtoret safely fled with his companions. The look of confusion on Mave’s face had been comical.

“So, I lost my chattel because your males robbed the province refugee camp along with a large plantation nearby,” Cyprian growled at Mave.

Vintor stood bristling at Cyprian’s shoulder, as they confronted the lead smuggler.

“At least you didn’t lose your cruiser. If Bohdan wasn’t dead on the tarmac, I’d let you watch me gut him,” Mave roared.

As far as Cyprian could tell, Adeoda was just as culpable for their failure. But if Mave wanted to place blame solely on Bohdan, fine. Cyprian didn’t really care.

“Let me tell you how this is going to go.” Cyprian stepped into Mave’s personal space. “I’m going to do you the honor of loaning you my ship. And in return for my generosity, you are going to take me to the auction, where you’ll pay me twice the value of the Toufik I lost. If I’m satisfied with what I find, we can move forward with this partnership.”

“And if I say no?” Mave snarled.

“No problem. I’m sure the exceedingly honorable Jurou Biljana will wait in orbit with your first shipment of Toufik, while you find another vessel,” Cyprian remarked sarcastically, as he turned and started walking away with Vintor.

The silence was palpable for those few steps. Mave was no doubt surprised that he knew who was behind part of this plot.

“We leave in an hour,” Mave growled.

A cocky smile spread across Cyprian’s face. He held up his hand in acknowledgement to Mave, as he and Vintor continued towards their cruiser.

“Looks like we’re going off-world,” Vintor commented. “You up for the challenge?”

“Challenge? All we have to do is sabotage the Toufik auction, steal back a Miran Sona ship, and find a missing human,” Cyprian chuckled.

“Yeah, it’ll be good to see a bit of action again,” Vintor grinned back.

  Mave

“We’ve run into a bit of difficulty,” Mave reported, as he spoke into his handheld.

He hated that he was forced to call his benefactor.

“I’m well aware. Must I remind you that I have eyes everywhere,” the male replied. “You know, Mave, I practically gift wrapped the Toufik for you, and still you failed me.”

“Your feathered little pets at the salvage yard, didn’t stop the Daimio’s warriors. They still arrived at the camp and foiled our last retrieval,” Mave groused.

Mave didn’t know what his benefactor expected. If Kagan’s males could kill so many gallinacus, they were obviously tenacious enough to hold off the band of miscreants at the refugee camp.

“An unfortunate occurrence, but I did inform you of that fact. You should’ve been prepared.”

“How was I supposed to know Bohdan would lead them to the landing strip?” Mave growled.

“You are a fool. Do I have to tell you everything? Are you certain Bohdan was the one to lead them to the hangar?”

Mave glanced over at Adeoda, who was loading supplies into Cyprian’s cruiser. The male was the one who thought to steal the human and Stigand’s Toufik. Did he seriously think the human’s mate was going to let her go so easily?

“What’s done is done. I have another cruiser at my disposal,” Mave replied. “I’ll contact you when I reach the auction.”

Mave disconnected, cutting his benefactor off mid-sentence. The male would undoubtedly chew his tail later, but the day Mave had, he couldn’t bear to hear anymore. He nee
ded to get into orbit, to rendezvous with the Jurou Biljana, before the vile reptiles made off with what little profit he still had left.

  Riley

Riley shook in abject terror as she watched the display screen. There was no way they could repel the horde of giant reptiles that were boarding the ship. Riley was more frightened than when she learned she was going to prison, because her junkie brother forgot something in her car. This shit, made that event look like a walk in the park.

“Stay behind me,” Exo warbled as he pointed the alien gun at the sealed bridge door.

If it was possible, Exo was paler than normal, and his voice shook more than its usual twitter.

Those freaks cut through the belly of the ship, and they’re packing serious heat. We’re so fucked. What the hell is Exo going to do with a single gun? Riley’s eyes darted from the door to the display screen, then back again.

“Don’t lose that charm around your neck,” Exo reminded her. “I almost have the vessel’s database erased. Just a moment more.”

Riley gripped her necklace. No one would guess, looking at the skull pendant, that it hid a thumb drive. She bought the novelty to hold her favorite MP3’s, images, and other crap. Never in her wildest dreams did she think some alien would hide his star charts amongst her comparatively useless files. She wasn’t a rocket scientist, like her friend June, but she knew how imperative it was to hold onto the jump drive.

“I know. You don’t have to explain it to me again,” Riley replied. Her voice was a bit more caustic than intentional. “The scaly dudes can’t know the location of New Earth. I got it.”

“But, if we make it out of this, it’s our only hope to find home,” Exo stated morosely.

If we make it out of this, it’s our only hope to find home, Riley parroted.

  “Home,” Riley snorted almost hysterically.

To think, the New Earth colony had become her home, and she was grasping the only hope to return there. Up to this point, life had been one cruel joke after another. That seemed to be her lot. It was really starting to piss her off.

“Fucking bullshit,” Riley cursed fate in disgust. “You know what, fine, bring it on!”
