  The office door opened.

The black leather chair was facing the back wall. Someone was sitting in it, smoking a cigarette.

The sound of my black heels echoed with courage and boldness that I did not actually possess. It probably irritated the one who was so peaceful sitting in his chair.

I rounded the table and stopped in front of the chair.

Larsson TIGER looked to the velvet of my dress and recognized me without looking at my face. He knew it was me standing there before him.

"Now do you know it’s me?" I questioned looking at his face.

His green eyes rose slowly towards my serious face and locked onto mine. The effect was immediate.

He bent his head to one side and removed his cigarette from his mouth.

"I do not understand why you are here."

His voice sounded more fraudulent than fake gems falsified by a malicious jeweller.

"You are treating me with such indifference as if I am nothing."

"Ohoh! And have you come into my office without my permission to confront me about it?"

His hand rested his cigarette onto the ashtray and his lips relaxed slightly making it seem as if he were jeering.

"I thought our kiss would change something between us."

I looked at him sideways, as his gaze coolly considered me. It bothered me again.

I hoped he would reward me with a gaze of admiration and kindness.

"Kiss?" He laughed. "I do not consider it a real kiss."

My hands firmly touched the arms of his chair and I leaned over moving my face closer to his.

"You are like a capsule trying to hide what's really inside you from everybody."

His eyes contemplated the ditch of my breasts saliently through the exaggerating neckline of my dress. I reached over and held his chin lifting it to make him look up at my face.

"I'm talking to you, not my breasts!"

My right hand rested on the arm of his chair again and his eyes descended to my fingers which were in contact with his upholstered seat.

"I know you feel something for me." I stared into his green eyes. "You just do not have the courage to admit it."

Larsson turned to one side and tried to explain away my words.

"I believe that you have been watching too many romantic movies!"

"Admit you are in love with me!" My voice echoed louder and the walls agitated with the intensity of my voice.

"Do you think I have enough feelings to keep you in my house?"

He stared at me and his tongue touched the roof of his mouth. To me it was a provocative and erotic movement.

His erotic act irritated me. I realized that he only saw me as an object of pleasure and nothing else.

"EMILY, DAYDREAM LESS AND HAVE MORE FUN."

  I rose and stood upright.

"Do you really think a kiss can change the destiny of two people?" He mumbled, laughed, shook his head and picked up his cigarette again.

"A kiss,'cannot', but love ' can," I uttered feeling frustrated.

He stared at my crestfallen face.

"Okay! Now back to work! You are not here just to be caressed by the eyes of my clients."

He placed his cigarette to his lips.

I bent over again, pulled his cigarette from his lips, stared into his green eyes and said to him, "I will not do what you want me to do anymore."

My lips moved closer to his and stole a tender kiss from his lips. He remained motionless, trying to demonstrate his disgust and indifference at my bold action. Even though he tried to deny it, I could see in his eyes that he realized that I gave him this kiss from the depths of my heart.

As my lips slowly abandoned his I placed his cigarette back into his mouth as a mother puts a pacifier into her child's mouth.

He kept his gaze toward his office wall.

My fingers touched his black lighter which had the image of a Bengal tiger. I hid his lighter in my hand, stood up straight and looked at Larsson TIGER's face again.

His gaze remained fixed on his office wall. He was trying to not face me.

"I'll steal your indifference!" I warned him. I walked around his table back to the door and left his office.

I ran through the dark hallway of the house, but my long, tight velvet dress almost prevented me from arriving on time to the bar at the end of the corridor.

My fingers intertwined along the iron palettes and I placed my face against them.

The full moon was shining in the sky. It was a night perfect for lovers.

I looked at the garden through the barrier. I saw Larsson TIGER going into his black Opal with Valentina.

His driver started the car and they drove away.

My tears fell freely as I thought Larsson TIGER was taking Valentina his home, to his bed.

They would spend the night together while I would remain in my bed worrying about him, imagining him naked in close contact with another female’s skin.

  Chapter 2

"Here is your $ 5,000." I heard Larsson telling a man. They were standing in the garden, next to a coconut palm.

I was hiding behind the house.

Larsson pulled a manila envelope from inside his black overcoat and he handed it to the man. This particular man had light skin and brown hair.

I looked intently at the man. He was wearing gray clothes. He looked somewhat familiar to me.

I closed my eyes. I opened them again and looked down at the floor trying to remember. I finally knew who this man was.

"Cesar!" I exclaimed quietly to myself.

He had been in my uncle’s house that evening and he took me with him that damned night.

"The girl is a good deal?" He asked Larsson as he opened his envelope and checked his money.

Larsson looked around before replying. I moved back, not wanting Larsson to see me.

"Up till now she has only done me harm and caused me serious problems."

"Serious problems?" Cesar looked into Larsson’s green eyes, questioningly.

Larsson took out his cigarette and his lighter from his pants pocket and he lit it on his lips, clamping his hands in front of his mouth so that the wind didn’t blow out the fire.

"I made an error bringing the girl to this house," Larsson said after taking a drag of his cigarette and releasing a legion of gray smoke up into the air.

Cesar slapped Larsson's left shoulder gently. " My friend, I cannot accept your money since you have not made a profit from her."

"No, take it with you. After all, Emily is my property and I'm paying you for it."

I could not stand to hear the rest of the conversation. I turned and ran back into the house, walking through the club, my eyes shrouded in tears. I looked at all the people having fun around me and I felt even more sad and totally alone.

It was not my place, never had been and never would be.

The image of Cesar with Larsson TIGER stunned me.

Larsson knew that man, I realized then.

  And worse, they were friends.

I had to conclude that it was a conspiracy between them. Larsson rescued me on the roadside because they had arranged everything. Larsson had his own plans for me from the first time he laid his green eyes on me.

  What a hatfull man!

  How stupid I had been!

I ground my teeth together, my anger rising more and more.

I needed to free myself from this! I needed to free myself from Larsson TIGER!

I had to think of a plan.

  Chapter 3

A long, black dress with imported lace, black high heels, long, black barrel gloves – this is how I was dressed.

I walked to the front of the house with a bodyguard close to me. He was leading me toward a silver car which was parked in front of the house.

I looked down at my breasts and I saw the black lighter that I had taken from Larsson earlier on. It was now imprisoned in my push-up bra.

  The bodygu
ard opened the back door of the car. I looked at the home and its garden. My eyes searched for Larsson’s office window, seemingly of their own accord.

My eyes twinkled when I saw a black shape moving toward the open window of his office. He was standing there, looking at me.

He put his cigarette to his lips and inhaled gently. His gaze was burning me with its intensity.

I stared at him for a few seconds and then I got into the car.

The bodyguard closed the car door. The car began to move. I turned around, looked out the rear window of the car and looked at the office window. Larsson TIGER was still standing there staring at the car as it moved away, taking me further from him.

  ***

I got out of the car and the driver directed me to a speedboat. There was a man waiting for us inside it.

The night-time was rapidly approaching. I stood and I looked to the sea around me as we were moving over the waves.

Finally, the motorboat stopped near a white, luxury yacht. I was led to it as a strange man took me by the arm.

I boarded the yacht and immediately I was led to the sumptuous interior of the boat.

A man dressed in elegant, white clothes came over to me. His hair was gray. He had light skin and his eyes were brown.

He was holding a glass with imported whiskey.

His intimidating gaze moved over me. He looked at me from top to bottom, his eyes roaming over my long, black dress. I looked around and tried not to look at him. His gaze really alarmed me.

"How are you?" He asked me in a sensual voice.

  I did not answer him.

He approached me and touched my face with his long fingers.

"Constancia did not inform me that you are voiceless." he said.

At this moment, I looked up at his face. I saw an audacious smile. I felt like I was Little Red Riding Hood and he was the Big Bad Wolf.

My heart beat wildly, the way it did when my body started to react to danger.

"But it does not matter." His eyes slowly moved over the curves of my body. "Your beauty overrides your speech."

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. All of a sudden I noticed a bed. I imagined I would soon be in it with that man over me.

  It was disgusting!

"Have a drink," he suggested to me, raising his glass of whiskey.

"I want a pineapple liqueur," I said as I remembered Larsson TIGER's favourite drink. It made me feel somehow closer to him and it was a way in which I could somehow cope with becoming the main course in that bed.

He walked to the bar which was adorned with imported drinks in large and small bottles. They were all in a row on the counter.

"Finally I can hear your voice," he exclaimed as he held a glass and a bottle of liquor. "And your voice is very enchanting!"

"Can I look out at the sea?" I asked looking at him.

"Yes, you can." He looked over at me. "But wouldn't you rather drink your liquor first?"

I looked over at the round bed again.

  "I prefer ... later."

I walked to the outside of the yacht and felt the wind moving through my loose hair. I looked up to the sky. The stars were bright above my head, and my eyes fixed on the image of the full moon in the middle of the dark sky.

I felt a sense of freedom when I approached the edge of the boat and saw the immense, dark sea before my eyes.

The sea looked calm and agitated at the same time. I compared it to the temperament of Larsson Tiger.

I closed my eyes trying to block out everything. I felt a little happier there, when I erased from my memory what I really came to do in that place. I was there for one reason only - to offer pleasure to a mega entrepreneur in exchange for a lot of money that would be pocketed by the majestical Larsson Tiger.

  I wondered.

Did Larsson Tiger think the money of that stupid entrepreneur was more valuable than my body?

Was wealth more valuable than me in his life?

All the answers came in a second when I faced the ocean’s gentle waves.

It was evident that he thought only of making money, having fun and sleeping with women...

If I was actually more important than all this, it was obvious I would not be there, in the company of an entrepreneur at sea, taking risks.

And what if he was the Senator and loved beating up women?

  I'm lost!

This time, Larsson TIGER would not be around to defend me from any aggression.

I raised my leg and took off my shoe. Then I raised the other leg and got rid of the other black shoe.

I stood and looked out at the immense sea around me.

"Here is your liquor of pineapple."

My client was behind me. I felt him move ever closer to my body.

I looked over my left shoulder and saw him coming towards me, holding two glasses, one in each hand.

His eyes locked on mine. I tried to hold back the tears but I failed. I looked forward again and faced the agitated sea.

I threw my arms forward. My body moved swiftly and I dove into the ocean.

The businessman raised his eyebrows. He was shocked by my actions. At this moment, he let the glasses fall to the deck and ran to the edge of the yacht.

"Oh my God! This girl is going to die!" He screamed looking at the dark water of the vast sea around his yacht. But I was sure he couldn’t see any trace of my body in the water.

I disappeared in the blink of an eye.

  Chapter 4

Two light knocks on the wooden door and soon after it opened bringing Lady Constancia into the office of Larsson TIGER.

She walked over to his desk and saw him sitting in his armchair. He seemed distracted, smoking his cigarette.

His hands touched a miniature figure of a tiger which was on his table. Larsson raised his head and looked at the image of his employee, coming in his direction. Larsson noticed the worry on her wrinkled face.

"Why are you looking at me like this ? What happened now?" Larsson asked her. He had absolutely no idea what she was about to say.

"Mr Larsson ..." Constancia tried to say something but she couldn’t finish. She watched Larsson's eyebrows moving up and the irritation on his face.

  "Oh .. ah ..."

"Tell me, Constancia! What happened? Fuck!"

  "Oh ... something ... serious."

"You are annoying me! Just tell me what happened without ifs!"

She remained standing in front of his desk.

"Emily disappeared at sea during -"

"What?" He didn’t wait for Lady Constancia to finish her sentence.

Larsson rose from his chair, doubting her information for a second. His blood started pumping through his veins burning, and the irritation bothered him.

"What happened to her?" he insisted after taking a deep breath.

"Emily threw herself into the sea while she was with the entrepreneur on his yacht tonight...and her body disappeared into the water ..."

Larsson stood still for a moment then shook his head from side to side. "It cannot be! This cannot be true!"

He made a fist with his right hand and threw a strong punch on his table. "Damn!"

Constancia moved back, startled at his aggression and anger.

"She did that on purpose! Damn! Fuck!"

Larsson stopped as my words earlier travelled through his memory - "I'll steal your indifference!"

He lowered his head, put his thumbs under his chin and covered his nose with his hands. It seemed despair had come over him. He sat there in silence.

Lifting his head up, he opened his green eyes and looked at the black shoes Constancia was holding in her hands.

"These are her shoes! She took them off before she fell into the sea," Constancia told him lifting the shoes towards her boss.

Larsson looked at them. He reached out and took them into his hands. He felt revolt, nothing more; no sadness, no pity, nothing else.

"What am I gonna do with these shoes? Tell me!"

He threw the shoes at the wall. Poor Constancia was startled again. Larsson's wrath alarmed her more and more.

He walked from one side of the room to the other, pacing restlessly.

"I want all my staff to search for her! I want Emily to be found and brought back HERE!"

His green eyes met the frightened face of his servant. Constancia tried to inform him carefully of what she believed about the situation.

"I doubt very much that the girl would have survived out at sea." She looked down to the table. "Emily committed suicide!"

"Shut your mouth!" Larsson yelled at her, spitting fire at Constancia. "And do exactly what I command you! Order a search and rescue team! Lifeboat! All that is needed to find her! But I want Emily to be back in my office - and soon!"

There was a big search at sea. Larsson pulled out all the stops to try and find me. However, there was no trace of my body. That did not comfort or even convince Larsson that I died. On the contrary – he increased the level of the search.

He still believed that I had escaped from the sea alive.

  Chapter 5

Sitting in his armchair beside his bed, Larsson was holding a cotton nightgown. He then leaned down and picked up and pair of panties. Both nightgown and panties had a pretty floral print. He put these pieces to his nose, inhaled longingly and at the same time hoped that one day I would return to him.

He got up and walked with the clothes glued to his bare chest. He was dressed only in his bottom pajamas.

The clothes in his hand were my humble nightgown and cotton panties that I was wearing on the first day he met me by the roadside.
