“Oh, God, you feel so good, so damn good. You’re mine, Sharice, mine,” he growled, then pulled out of her and turned her around in his arms, staking a possessive claim with his kiss.

Dragging his mouth away from her, he said, “You’re mine, Sharice, no one else’s but mine. No one else will pleasure you and desire you the way I am going to continue to. Open your eyes and look at me. I want to see you when you say you belong to me.”

Sharice’s eyes fluttered open and she gazed at him with uncertainty and rebellion in their depths. “Elias, this is happening so fast. I didn’t even know you desired me, and I can’t just dismiss my rule of not dating my clients. I—”

“You’re fired,” he stated arrogantly. At the expression of shock, then outrage in her narrowed eyes, he lifted a finger to her lips to silence her.

“I respect your policy of not dating a client, so as of right now I am no longer your client. I want you, and I want you in my life. I want to get to know you better. I want to make you laugh, to know what excites you, what your passions are outside of work, and what makes you moan.” Sharice arched her eyebrow at him. He chuckled, surprising her, but continued.

“I want to wake up to the taste of you on my tongue and my cock buried so deep inside you, we don’t know where one begins or the other ends. You fit my cock so perfectly, as if you were tailored for me.” As he continued to speak, her body began to relax and melt into him. “I want to explore not only this desire for you, but everything else. You make me feel things I’ve never felt before. I haven’t felt this way with anyone else. This constant need to be around you and with you—please give me a chance.”

  “Elias, I—”

He interrupted her by pressing his finger more firmly against her lips. Sharice’s gaze narrowed and she pulled away a bit from him, but she didn’t say a word as he continued. “If it makes it any better, all these guests I have invited to the Halloween masquerade are mostly for you. I wanted to showcase what a talent you are as an event planner. I also invited magazine reporters whose articles spotlight main events and their planners. I did this all for you. I actually really hate throwing parties, and I did this to get next to you,” he said sheepishly.

Sharice stared at him now with fire crackling in her eyes, and his shoulders dipped, thinking she was still going to refuse to give them a chance.

She opened her mouth and sucked his finger in, then nipped down hard on it. He yelped a little at the sting and pulled his finger out of her mouth.

“Now, as I was trying to say before you rudely kept trying to interrupt me…” Sharice glared at him and then braced her hands on her hips. She moved closer, their bodies now touching from chest to hip again. Sharice suddenly snaked her arms around his neck and confessed.

“I have been attracted to you, too, from the start. I buried my feelings because I didn’t want it to get in the way of us working together, and getting involved with a client can get messy. Besides, you only seemed to want me to plan your events. I was finding it harder and harder to be around you, and I was going to start passing your events on to Claire.”

She shrugged at his scowl. “I found myself thinking of you constantly and looking forward to when you came in to see me, even if it was to give me orders. I can no longer deny my feelings for you. I am not sure what the future holds, but if you want to try then I want to try too.”

Sharice smiled up at him slyly. “I can honestly say, I am also extremely happy to see you go as a client. You have been the most stubborn, demanding, arrogant—hmmmmm…”

Elias had lowered his head and silenced her with a kiss. Succumbing to their desire for each other, Elias lowered her to the ground and swiftly entered her wet pussy. As he waited for her to adjust to him again, he broke off the kiss.

“About that hideous dress,” Elias said with mirth in his voice.

“Not now, Elias.” Sharice reached up and dragged his mouth back down to hers.

  “Later,” he mumbled.

“Much later,” they whispered together and then moved as one.
