Benzen: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Warriors of Orba Book 1) Page 13

“You may be weak on the inside,” I move closer. “But that is no excuse to ruin the lives of so many people. If you have troubles, you should ask for help and improve yourself, not turn your pain outward.”

  “I see that now.”

  “But it’s too late.”

He hangs his head even lower.

“What are you going to do?” he asks with a voice so weak it’s barely audible.

“I will not touch you. I will not harm you, but I will tell you one thing.”

He finally looks up and our eyes meet. There’s terror etched across his face and he swallows, gulping down his anxiety.

“What will you tell me?” his voice quivers.

“Orban people,” I begin, “are a race of peace, not war! You have shamed us.”

He looks shocked, with his eyes wide and dilated.

“If you ever attempt to return to Earth, I will come back to Orba myself and give you something to really fear.”

As I say this, I’m not sure what a little person like me could really do, for after all, I am just one person. But as I speak, I can see he understands. There’s a flicker of acknowledgment in his eyes, and he takes a step back, nodding as he does so. He turns as if he’s about to run away.

  “But one last thing.”

  He stops and flinches.

“I will never be far from your thoughts. NEVER!”

He nods vigorously, eager to show he understands.

“I mean it. Wherever you are, I am only a thought away from being inside your head.”

“I...I understand," he says. “I comprehend your intentions.”

  “Now go.”

He doesn’t look back as he scurries away from me.

“You are truly a coward,” I shout after him, his tiny figure shuffling back into the fog.

A noise comes from somewhere in the apartment. I’m startled back to the real world, and I can now see the darkness of my bedroom and the way my clothes are strewn across the floor. I can hear the leather sofa creak as Allison wakes up. Then her footsteps come passing through. She knocks on my door before entering. Seeing me sitting cross-legged on the floor with my room in a mess, she laughs and scrunches up her face.

“What the hell are you doing, Benzen?”

“Oh,” I stand up. “Nothing. Nothing at all.”

  “Doesn’t look like nothing.”

  She looks around some more.

“It sure is dark in here.” She walks over to the window and slaps the mattress. “And why is this here?”

“I needed to block out the sun.”

“Fair enough,” she shrugs. “But let’s get this back on your bed, shall we?”

We pull the mattress back to its proper place and lie down on top of the bed. The sun is still high in the sky, beaming through the window and shimmering through the dust in the air. I watch the particles dance in the light and raise my fingers to touch them. I feel the warmth tickle my fingertips.

“I really need to tidy this place.”

I look around at all the things I have collected since living on Earth and realize I have accumulated such a large amount of stuff. Most of the things are items I didn’t even know existed a couple months ago, but now, I feel as though I couldn’t live without them.

“Benzen,” Allison asks as she rolls over and runs a finger down the side of my face. “I think you’re forgiven for having a messy room today. You can’t be expected to do housework on the same day you escape from an exploding spaceship.”

She bursts out laughing, and her smile, as infectious as ever, spreads to me. I roll over to face her and wrap an arm around her to pull her closer.

“It’s been a strange few months, hasn’t it?” she says with her eyes shining.

She has the greatest propensity to be positive and beautiful no matter what the situation is, and despite her weary, injured body, she still seems happy just to be by my side.

“I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

“I feel the same about you,” she says as she snuggles in closer.

Despite the warmth of the sun, I pull the covers up over our heads to feel the all-encapsulating safety of being in love. I want to live in here forever with nothing but her breath and touch keeping me alive.

With our stomachs pressed into each other, we kiss ever so softly. The pain in my face is still searing, but as soon as we embrace, I don’t care anymore. All I want to do is feel her body against mine and the warmth of her skin as she caresses me.

Our tongues run gently over each other, our hands gripping at one another’s clothes. I roll on top of her and feel the softness of her curves beneath me. Stripping her top from her body, I reveal her plump breasts that are already swollen and ready to be touched. I clamp my mouth to a nipple and feel the bumps of her areola against my tongue. She lets out a heavy gasp as she tangles her fingers in my hair.

Grazing my lips off her skin, I kiss the space between her breasts and feel as the goose bumps rise on her. I move my fingers over them, feeling every single bump on her body. Moving my mouth lower, I kiss her navel and the inside of her thighs. She giggles as I reach the sensitive spot next to her lips, and she writhes and laughs playfully. But she stops and lets out a sudden, deep moan when I pull her panties to the side and kiss her wetness.

She is ready for me already, eager to be penetrated. She raises her body to meet my mouth and screams when I suck on her. I want to taste every part of her sex and feel her moisture on my tongue. I suck harder and harder until her clitoris swells between my lips as it grows hot and red.

“Oh fuck, Benzen!” she yells as she arches her back.

When I know she is ready and comfortable, I slide two fingers inside her and massage her g-spot. There are instant tremors inside her as she opens up for me. Meanwhile, I lick her furiously, building her body up into a heated frenzy. She’s screaming and wriggling, her hands clasped around the metal bed frame.

  “Oh god!”

I can feel her muscles begin to contract around my fingers as she climaxes, but I pull away, not letting her reach a full orgasm.

“Why would you do that?” She flings a pillow at me. “Don’t stop!”

She’s angry and horny but still laughing and playful all at once. She jumps on top of me, pushing me down into the bed. Ripping my clothes from my body, she pulls my hardness out from my pants and pumps her hand up and down until I am solid and hard like a rod.

“Don’t do that!” I gasp. “I’ll cum right away.”

And just like I did to her, she pulls away at the crucial moment, and I am left throbbing and desperate for more.

“Not so fun, is it?” She smiles wickedly, her lips twisting up into a mischievous grin.

Looking down on me, she smiles even wider, as though she’s plotting what to do next. I love the way she looks so naughty, and it makes me even harder.

When I least expect it, she holds the base of my cock once again and sits herself down angrily on me. The pleasure feels as though it’s overflowing from my body, and I fling my head back as a wave of ecstasy flows through me.

“Urgh…” I bite my lip to stop myself from climaxing.

Gripping onto her hips, I pull her down onto me time and time again as she screams, her wetness seeping onto me. She rides me hard, with a frantic intensity I never knew she possessed. Her hair covers her eyes, and I brush it from her face to see her better. She looks at me with pure love and adoration.

Digging her nails into my chest, she shudders violently, screams, and falls forward with her vagina clenching around me.

“Oh fuck,” she breathes. “You’re the best!”

At hearing her words, I release myself inside her, my thighs shaking and my stomach contracting. I grip my eyelids shut and clench my teeth together as the electrical, sexual energy cascades through me.

I’m spent, and I grab hold of her body and breathe heavily into her neck. For a long while, we embrace each other, our sweat sticking our bodies together. We hold
each other tight until we regain our strength and our breath returns to normal. Then she rolls off me and lies on her back. There a single bead of sweat on her ribs, and I touch it delicately and watch it merge with my fingertip.

“What do you think will happen?” she asks suddenly as she pulls the covers back over her body.

  “What do you mean?”

“With everything—the mall, the shuttle, Palzu, our jobs, us?”

“Don’t think about any of that,” I quiet her as I hold her hand. “Not right now.”

“But things won’t be the same again, will they?”

“No.” I look away. “They won’t, but us… We will always be fine. Think of what we’ve just been through and how much stronger we are because of it.”

She looks lost in thoughts for a minute before she speaks.

  “We’re a peculiar couple, aren’t we?”

“Yeah, I imagine we are,” I smile. “But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

  “Me neither.”

She sits up and looks down at me, stroking my hair between her fingers and humming gently to herself.

  “What song is that?”

“I heard it the night we were at that sushi restaurant.”

“I’m surprised you remember anything at all from that night,” I laugh. “You’d drunk quite a lot of wine.”

“I sure did. How awful, right?”

Her cheeks glow bright red with embarrassment as she teases me.

“You looked beautiful, though.” I bop her on the nose. “You always do.”

She smiles and bends down to kiss me.

  “Will they ever come back?”

  “Palzu?”

“The troops, your crew, Palzu…” she sighs and I can sense a knot of tension form in her body.

“No. Palzu won’t ever come back.”

  “Are you sure?”

“I’m positive. Don’t ever think about him again.”

  “What about your friends?”

  “I miss them so much.”

“Do you really think it’s true that one of them was a spy?”

Even now, the idea irks me and no matter how much I think that it can’t be true, there’s the loitering inclination that Palzu was telling the truth.

“I try not to think about it,” I say as I look up to the ceiling. “I’d rather remember them all the way they were when they lived here. I’d like to think they’re still here, bunched around the television with all sorts of different food covering the floor in front of them and Victorinth giggling at everything she watches.”

  “I hope they’re all ok.”

  “Me too.”

We nuzzle in close to one another and feel the warmth of each other’s bodies. The sun dips down behind the buildings as night takes hold of the city. I kiss her forehead and listen to her breathing. The sound calms me and I feel my eyelids grow heavy. I’m on the cusp of falling asleep when I feel her nudge me in the ribs.

  “Benzen?” she whispers.

  “Uh-huh.”

“Back there, at the shuttle, you started to tell me something.”

I know what she’s talking about.

“Allison, I should have said this a long time ago. The...the last few months have been the best, and well…” I’m nervous, and my voice seizes up. “I just want you to know that I love you.”

She pulls away and sits bolt upright. Looking deep into my eyes, I watch as a tear glides down her cheek.

“I thought you’d never say it.”

She throws herself on top of me.

  “I love you too, Benny!”

With our bodies entwined and our limbs laced around one another, we look into each other’s eyes with our breaths becoming in sync. Soon, the moon rises high in the sky, and the white light filters through the window casting shapes across the bed.

“I’ll never let you go,” I whisper as she falls asleep.

And I close my eyes and drift into a peaceful slumber.
