My cock stirred and a thick groan scraped from my throat as I played with her tits.
Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply. “Mmm,” she murmured softly. “This is nice, but I’m pretty sure Jack wasn’t fondling Rose’s boobs when she stood with her arms outstretched on the bow of the ship.”
Squeezing her soft and perfect breasts, I said, “What am I supposed to do with my hands if I’m not holding your boobs?”
Above us, two seagulls squawked and Adelaide laughed. “See!” she cried. “Even the seagulls object!”
“Adelaide.” Covering her nipples with my thumbs, I began making a series of lazy circles. “If you could do one thing right now, what would it be?”
“Hmm.” She thought about this for a second. “Probably like to eat.”
A seagull cawed loudly, swooping over our heads.
Fuck. This wasn’t going exactly how I’d planned. Before a seagull crapped on our heads, I took her hand and stepped up to the railing.
I wanted this moment to be perfect for her.
Our gazes locked and I said, “You jump, I jump, right?”
Her lips pursed for a moment, then bloomed into a full smile. “Titanic!” She exclaimed breathlessly. “You watched the movie.”
I did. The night she went out with Byron, I suffered through three and a half hours watching that shit movie. Three and a half hours that I’ll never get back.
All for her.
But it was all worth it the moment she smiled at me, her eyes sparkling with so much warmth and humor. “Ender,” she said at last. “I think I like you more than pizza.”
“Don’t worry,” I said in a teasing voice. “I ordered us ten boxes of pizza.”
“What kind?”
“Your favorite kind,” I said. “Gigantic. And we can eat soon, I promise.”
But she wasn’t smiling. She was looking at me expectantly. “I just told you that I like you more than pizza. You’re supposed to say something romantic back to me.” Her voice was no more than a whisper. A sad, dejected whisper.
“Adelaide.” I framed her face in my hands and kissed the frown on her lips. “I want to take you out on more dates.”
“You do?”
“I do.” I kissed her again. She tasted of seawater and adventure.
“How many?”
“Many, many, many more.” I held her gaze steadily. “I will never want to stop dating you.”
“Ender...” Her adorable face broke gently into a grin. “That’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.” Taking a deep breath, she laced her fingers through mine and looked over the railing. “You jump, I jump, right?”
“Right.” My voice was strong and it was certain. “You ready?”
“I’m ready. Are you ready?”
“I stay ready so I don’t have to get ready.” I squeezed her hand. “Let’s do this, babe!”
Holding hands, keeping our fingers locked together, we leapt off the edge of the yacht and jumped into the sea, letting go right before we made our big splash.
