Predator Instincts: A Paranormal Shapeshifter Romance (Paranormal Games Book 2) Page 4

by Anna Collins

“Gillian, I talked to Johan on the phone and he sounded absolutely delicious. Even the photos hopefully don’t do him justice, but if they do, then we’ve definitely found somebody that was worth the money that we are spending on him. He was very interested in the fact that we wanted to see other things, instead of just the usual tourist traps.” Margot was wearing blue jeans that hugged her diminutive frame and she loved the fact that she could wear her argyle sweaters that seemed to put her more prominent assets on display. Even though she was small in stature, she was a little top heavy, but it did garner her a lot of attention from the male populous.

It wasn’t lost on Gillian that Margot was quite the dish and there were times that she had actually fantasized about what it would be like to be with her. She’d never acted on them, because she didn’t think that her feelings would be reciprocated. She decided to keep this to herself, deep down where it wouldn’t see the light of day and she continued her friendship, because she just wanted to be close to her. After all, it was just fantasies and rarely does fantasies ever live up to the reality.

She was already sneaking furtive glances toward her friend and that sweater did nothing to hide what she had to offer. “I’ve seen the photos and I would say that that man really does take care of himself. I like that he wears denim and that polar hat that he had on in one of those photographs was just darling.” Neither one of them had been laid in over six months. It wasn’t from lack of trying, but their profession as legal stenographers had kept them fairly busy as of late. They knew it was just an excuse and they had found that most men were after just one thing, not that there wasn’t room for spontaneity.

“I’ve seen some of the men and can you say…yummy. I’m not saying that is the reason why I wanted to come down here, Gillian, but I would be lying to say if I didn’t want to get me some of that.” Margot was one of those girls that had to have it and six months without it had turned her into almost a basket case. She could feel the last time that a man was with her and yes it was spontaneous, but it was, so fulfilling that it had left her almost breathless.

The plane came in for a landing and they both held hands almost instinctively like they were trying to protect each other. Gillian was wearing the same kind of blue jeans as Margot, but hers were black and she was also wearing a sweater, but it wasn’t argyle. She had on a black parka, but underneath all of these layers was a warm blooded woman that was looking for some action. She could even start to envision what would be like to be with Johan, but that was something that might’ve been a little out of her reach.
