Joyride: (Beautiful Biker MC Romance Series) Page 48

For a while after all our drama, things had been quiet with my mother. Life without her was good. But, I felt guilty. She was my mother.

So… I invited her over for Christmas dinner. She said she had plans. She agreed to come over for dinner December 23rd. She acted like it was a pain in her ass. But, she came.

My kitten kept jumping up on her lap and purring. It was hilarious. I had trouble hiding how funny I thought it was.

Rider cooked steak. She complimented him on his cooking.

She insulted my outfit, was ‘meh’ about her Christmas gift (didn’t buy me one) and was snooty about the way I set the dinner table. But, she did awkwardly hug both of us goodbye. She said she was leaving Christmas Eve and spending Christmas with her sister in Miami.

Christmas Day, we had dinner with the Forkers and Valentines at the Forker homestead. My Dad and Deb came, too. So did Deb’s friend Laura. Laura had dated Deke years back, when she lived in Sioux Falls, and they were making goo-goo eyes at one another all through dinner. And after dinner, we all went tobogganing. My idea. It became a new tradition (whenever there was a white Christmas). My first Christmas with Rider was the happiest day of my life. (Until the day we got married).

  ***

After winter was over, Rider and I had the Valentine family cabin for a weekend, and I decided to play his game again, where he would chase and I would fight him off.

This was my idea. I had my “safeword” and had done a lot of thinking and concluded that our games and his darker fantasies were absolutely unconnected to anything bad that had happened to Jet or anyone else.

I craved his sexual approval and thrived on it. It now drove me crazy to think about surprising him with a new sexual encounter. We regularly took turns amping up our sex life. We had missionary sex in bed, too, but we both worked to keep things spicy. Positions. Locations. Role-playing. I hoped that this wouldn’t ever change. I started having some darker fantasies of my own, and he never hesitated to indulge them.

I didn’t want him to feel bad about his darker urges. I wanted to be everything he needed. And he was everything I needed, and I trusted him 100%.

We’d put away the axe-throwing stuff. It had gotten dark. We’d had plans to watch a movie and cook some hot dogs over a campfire.

“Rider,” I whispered in his ear.

“Hm?” he’d asked, closing the garage and locking up. He was shining the flashlight toward the cabin, so my path would be clear.

I faced him instead. “I want you to chase me. I want to fight you off.”

He stopped, and his eyes went wide.

  “Serious?” he asked.

I backed away. “Get away. Don’t try to make me have sex with you!” And then I started running in the dark.

The light and Rider chased me down and in no time, he had me, up in the air, over his shoulder. I kicked and pounded on his butt, and wiggled so hard that we tumbled to the ground. I tried to get away. The flashlight’s beam was gone.

The adrenalin was surging. Especially, being in the dark like this.

He grabbed for my ankle and dragged me back, flipping me to my belly and then he climbed on me.

“No, please no…” I whimpered, pinned under him. We would both have some serious sex bruises after this.

He started yanking his zipper down, while pinning me. I shoved and wriggled, and got to my back. My knee came up, and he grunted and twisted to deflect, then tightened his grip on my wrists and pinned them above my head.

“Don’t render The Beast useless, gorgeous. Then I won’t be able to fuck you and make you come all over him. You want him in your pussy or your mouth? Or your sexy ass?”

“Please, don’t. Please don’t fuck me doggy style in the dirt. No!” I whined and wriggled and got a hand loose and slapped at him. My palm connected with his cheek and then he flipped me and whacked my butt and then dragged down my track pants.

“Want me to tie you to that tree so I can fuck you?”

  “No. Please no…”

He yanked my track pants down straight to my ankles, pinning my wrists in the dirt. My face was in the dirt, too, and crazily, it felt so naughty that it made me wet.

“Spread these legs right now.” He rammed inside me. “You like that?”

  “Please stop.”

He slammed his hips forward and I cried out. He put his thumb to my butt and slipped it inside.

“You like that,” he told me. “Don’t you, my filthy-dirty beautiful girl?”

  I whimpered.

  I liked it.

And the next time we played it, I left rope by the tree ahead of time, so that he could use it to tie me up.

Mom and Dad eventually got divorced. Not amicably. She moved to Miami to live near her sister.

I speak to her once or twice a month, let her try to get her little digs in, to insult me, and then I go on about my business, letting it roll off like water over a duck’s back. We get together once a year, maybe.

  ***

Rider’s mother continued to be a cunt-a-saurus, a major thorn in everyone’s sides for a while. But, that was another story.

  ***

Rider grew his hair back. I’m the one who trims it now.

I gained ten pounds in that first year, because my beautiful biker can cook. He loves my ass even more now that there’s more to grab onto.

  ***

  One Year After We Met

Dad and Deb’s wedding was in Vegas. Tasteful and small, and I was Deb’s maid of honor. Dad asked Rider to stand up with him. They’d gotten close. Dad and Deke go golfing on occasion, too. Dad is so different nowadays. I know he has regrets. I also know I’m not about to spend the rest of my life punishing him for them.

I have the same thoughts about my mom. She’s the one who has to live with her bitterness. I can choose to let it go. It’s not always easy and sometimes anger tries to seep through, but I look at the life I have and all the joy I’ve been blessed with and that always wins out over the bitterness. The journey with Rider, ending in almost losing him, when I almost pushed him away? It changed me.

While in Vegas, my beautiful biker asked me to marry him! The day after my dad’s wedding.

Rider presented me with the most beautiful engagement ring. Well, first it was a Ring Pop, but it was a special-order Ring Pop that said Jenna: Will You Marry Me? inside it.

We were out for a romantic Las Vegas dinner in a Michelin star restaurant, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of him dipping me Hollywood style and telling me he was gonna need my number. He had the Ring Pop put in my fancy swan-shaped linen napkin.

He had the real ring in his pocket. It was a four-carat diamond ring.

I said yes. And, true to my word and committed to allowing him to cash the check I’d written, I gave him my ass that night. In a hotel room on the Las Vegas strip. It was my idea. He did not turn it down.

He was gentle and careful, and it was actually pretty damn good.

Life wasn’t always a joyride. We fought. Sometimes over stupid things. Sometimes, (ahem, often) I was a drama queen and occasionally climbed in bed with Ella. Sometimes, he was an alpha-hole. We had angry sex sometimes. We had our share of ups and downs. We saw a lot of ups and downs with our friends and family. Lots. But, we were most often Good-time Rider and Good-time Jenna living life full-throttle.

We faced more drama with the Wyld Jackals before they finally got patched over. But, that’s another story.

And right after getting engaged, we moved into my parents’ house. Ella and Deacon lived in the country, first in Deacon’s rock star trailer, and then in their custom-built home that Deacon and his brothers (blood and Dom brothers) did most of the building for, but we all spent lots of time either at our house or in the Forker family kitchen, playing cards, laughing our asses off, and loving life.

After a short time in New York, Jojo moved to town and she stirred up all sorts of drama! But, yep… another story.

&nb
sp; We were going to raise our kids in my childhood home, but making sure it was a place with love and laughter, and Rider would catch them as they rode down that banister. But, I’d put bumper pads everywhere first. And make our kids wear helmets. Because, I didn’t want them to get hurt.

Eventually, we had kids. Three. Two girls and then a boy. We named our little boy Lucas, after Luke “Lick” Hanson.

  ***

Pippa and Joe didn’t make it. Things went from bad to worse, sadly. There was a whole lot of drama there.

She moved back into the apartment above the salon when we moved out. She moved in with Spencer.

Jojo said Spencer needed a strong woman to whip him into shape, since he was such a handful. Pippa just so happened to be strong enough. But, that’s another story.

A pretty damn good one, too.

  Beautiful Biker 3. Sneak Peak:

  Spencer and Pippa’s Story

  1

The first time I saw him, he was trying to flirt with my friend, Ella (who was dating his brother). Later that night, he tried to get my boyfriend to score cocaine for him. In the coming weeks, he was typically drunk and jerk-like each time I saw him and sporting much-deserved shiners from first his oldest brother Deacon, and then from his other brother, Rider.

A week ago, I’d actually seen him dodge a punch from his little sister, Jojo. Again, deserved.

So, why, then, did I just wake up beside him in a bed in his room in the Dominion Brotherhood MC clubhouse?

Maybe I’d better rewind. Once you find out how I got here, maybe you’ll be able to help me figure out whether or not it was a colossal mistake to sleep with Spencer Valentine.

Coming your way in the (hopefully) not-too-distant future.

  What’s Next?

Next, I’ve got plans to work on an alien romance that Scarlett Starkleigh fans are waiting for (Hot Alpha Alien Husbands, book 2, Tanya and Zane’s story).

And, I’m hoping to give you a surprise book before coming back to write for Spence OR delving into a new world for me (but one I’m not unfamiliar with as I LOVE books in this sub-genre of romance). Yes, I’m talking about shifter books. I have a werewolf story planned for 2018 and I can’t wait to delve in to a story about an alpha who is as feral as man as he is as wolf. YUMMY. Not sure which will come first. We shall see. But I am starting to envision him and he looks a heckuva lot like Jason Momoa.

As soon as I’m able, I’ll be jumping back onto the back of my imaginary hog and heading back to Aberdeen to find out about Spencer’s journey to finding his ‘one’. We already know it’s Pippa, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a journey fraught with drama!

As always, you can find me chatting with readers on social media pretty much daily. I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride with Joyride. I’ll be working hard to bring you Spencer’s story as soon as I can.

I see possible stories on the horizon, too, for Chris, Jesse, Edge, Brady, and little Beau Forker when he’s all grown up.

If the series is getting lots of love and I’m still in love with writing in this world, I plan to keep writing until I get to Beau’s story. We’ll see how it goes. There could be additional books. I keep meeting people who are demanding that their story gets told. And I’ve already written up a family tree with all the children’s names coming from these beautiful alpha bikers, so we’ll see how far this goes.

If you haven’t already read my other books, Joyride was my tenth book published. I have dark mafia romance, alien romance, and a paranormal vampire trilogy that you can devour while you want for my next book. More details ahead!

At the time of publishing Joyride, here’s my current backlist:

The Dominator: (DD Prince’s first book and most popular)

Tia is left utterly smitten after a guy flirted with her in the ice cream parlor on her last day there. The gorgeous man in an expensive suit oozed money, power, confidence, sexuality, and she can’t stop daydreaming about how he flirted and teased and tied a cherry stem into a knot with his tongue suggestively right in front of her.

But Tia has no idea that while she daydreams about the gorgeous guy, a plot is underfoot. He’s about to tie her whole life up into knots.

She has no idea that as soon as she graduates from school she’ll be delivered to him. He owns her. And he has plans. Carnal plans. Her father owes his father a debt and that debt is to be paid with Tia.

*This book is a dark romance with a flesh debt payment plot. Tommy Ferrano needs to get married to get handed his birthright, a business with ties to organized crime. He has been in no hurry to get married so his father decided to get creative. His father chose Tia for very specific reasons.

Tia grew up too fast. She lost her Mom due to suicide and has a screw-up for a father. She's excited about moving to the next chapter of life with plans for after school, plans for life on her own after growing up in foster care. She doesn't know, yet, that the changes coming don't remotely resemble what she had in mind.

Tommy Ferrano likes to play games, especially mind games. After Tia is delivered to him and told of her fate she quickly finds this out and learns that she has to obey his rules … or else.

Rule 1: He owns her and wants full control. He wants obedience; he punishes defiance
.

Rule 2: She needs to keep her mouth shut and reveal nothing to anyone about him.

He soon reveals Rule #3 to her, and starts revealing his dark, possessive, and depraved sexual side. Tia has to obey him in order to survive. Will it break her or will submission bring about a different kind of freedom?

Ingredients include: profanity, sex, violence, dominating alpha male, blood, pain, love, redemption...

  No cliffhanger.

  Teasers:

"Fear flickered in her eyes for a beat but she continued to stare up at me, right into my eyes, trying to be brave. I liked it. I liked it a lot. Yeah, I’m a sick fucker. And the only thing scarier than a sick fucker is a sick fucker with power. If I was going to have to marry to get all the power I’d damn well get as much pleasure as possible from it. Fear and defiance rolled up in one? She was perfect. Maybe that’s why I’d waited so long. This was coming for me. Her."

"I was standing in front of her, towering over her, and I was going to wipe that defiance right off her face."

“I know you didn’t choose this but I can’t give you up. I won’t. Don’t ever, ever ask me to. After things settle down I’ll help you have a life you’ll want, but with me, and you have to take all of me. I’ll find you answers about your father, I’ll give you everything your heart wants, everything except freedom from me. Don’t ever ask me for it.”

“Rough or sweet?” I said into her ear, wanting, for some inexplicable reason, for her to feel in control right now. I looked into her eyes and tried to show her the tenderness I felt for her.

“Rough,” she answered very softly and it made my heart soar. Her giving me control: wanting rough, when she could keep it sweet, when she could keep control of me was such a gift. She was made for me. I gave her a little smile and she must’ve read my mind because she gulped hard and looked like she might’ve wanted to backpedal. That hesitation, the fear in her eyes, it got me hard. So hard."
