Dillon moved his arm from around Sandy’s shoulders. “Sweetie, why don’t you go powder your nose or something?” he asked.
Sandy looked between them, and Shawna forced yet another smile that felt like it was going to split her face. Seconds passed until they were alone.
“Shawna, honey, I’m trying here,” Dillon said. “Sandy, she means well.”
“Great,” she said. “This was supposed to be our dinner, and yet you can’t even cope with being alone with me. I’ve got a friend I’ve not known that well who would rather be alone with me.”
“It’s not that,” Dillon said.
“Then what the hell is it?”
“I want you to like Sandy. She’s important to me.”
Shawna snorted. “Wow, you know what? This was a waste of time.”
“No, don’t say that. I miss you, Shawna. I do.”
“Yeah, well, I miss you and Mom, but I’m never going to get that back, am I? No, exactly.”
“Your mom and I, we were at different places. I’d hoped you could be happy for me,” he said.
She stared across the table and at the same time thought about Nate’s words. Damn him, he was making this hard for her. She just wanted to leave the restaurant and head home. This was what Nate would want with his mother. The chance to talk to her without any demands or expectations.
“Did you ever love Mom?” she asked.
“Yes, I did. We both loved each other, but you can’t deny that she’s happier with her new man.”
She licked her lips and nodded. Daniel meant everything to her mother. “When you invited me to dinner for us to talk I was hoping it would just be the two of us.”
“I want you to get to know Sandy.”
“I get that, I do, and I’m sorry, but right now I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to know her, and I don’t care to. She’s the reason for splitting the two of you apart.”
“That’s not completely true, but I do see your point.”
She stared across at him and blew out a breath. “In time, it might be easier. Right now, I just want to go home and not have to do this with you.”
“Shawna, I’m the same guy.”
Again, she shook her head. “You’re not, though. You’re not the same guy. The same guy would tell me to beat the crap out of any guy who did what you did. I’m not trying to be difficult, it just comes easy,” she said, trying to smile.
Dillon reached across the table, waiting for her.
She licked her lips again, and then placed her hands within his.
“I love you, sweetie. I really do, and even though I’ve broken your trust, I’m going to prove to you that I’m the same person.” Silence fell between them, and she didn’t know what to say. “Why have you stopped calling me Dad?” he asked.
She shrugged. “You no longer felt like my father. You were someone else, someone I didn’t know. I’m not trying to be mean or anything.”
Dillon looked sad.
Sandy came back, and Shawna removed her hands from his. The rest of the meal went by without much event.
At four in the afternoon, Dillon pulled up outside Daniel’s house, and she glanced over to see her mother, Daniel, and Nate working on the garage.
Nate looked toward her, and she could see that he was worried. She showed him a smile as she climbed out of the car.
Her mother stopped what she was doing, and moved toward the gate. At the same time, Daniel moved up behind her.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Sandy got out of the car to move beside Dillon.
Shawna pressed her hands together and moved toward her mother.
“You okay, sweetie?” Belle asked.
“Yeah, of course I am.” She looked toward Nate, and she glanced back. “I’m going to head inside.”
Taking the lead, she went upstairs to her room, and seconds later, Nate entered. She moved toward her window, which overlooked the front garden. She saw their parents talking, with some hand-waving going on.
“How was it?”
“Sandy was there, and it was as tense and uncomfortable as you can imagine. How was it here?”
“I think your mother was worried about your dad convincing you to move in with him.”
“It came up.”
“And?” he asked.
She smiled. “Were you worried?” She folded her arms and moved toward him, standing right in front of him.
“I may have been a little worried.” He reached out, running the tips of his fingers up and down her arms.
Goosebumps erupted over her arms from his touch.
“I’m not going to move, Nate. I like it here.” She ran her hands up his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck.
He moved one of his hands into her hair. “Good, that’s really good. Did he explain things to you? I thought you were going to go and talk?”
She shrugged. “He had nothing to say. What more was there to say? He cheated, and now he’s trying to make out that it didn’t happen.”
Before she could say anything else, he pressed his lips against hers, and all thought left her as his lips felt amazing. She had missed this, and it helped her to forget everything else. It had only been a couple of hours away from him, and she was desperate to feel him around her. She didn’t know when he’d started to mean more to her, but it was getting stronger.
Chapter Seven
Nate glanced across the cafeteria, watching as Shawna entered with her friends. Beside her was a kid wearing glasses, and he even wore his backpack straps on two arms. What kind of loser did that?
“What the fuck are you looking at now?” Buster asked.
Several of their teammates started looking around the cafeteria, and he shrugged. “Nothing. I’m just thinking about the game. Nothing important.”
Shawna didn’t look toward him.
“Hey, Nate, what’s it like living with a nerd?” Amanda asked. She dropped into his lap, her cheerleader uniform riding up so that she was trying to ride his dick in front of all of the guys.
All he wanted to do was push her off, but he couldn’t do it.
If he didn’t look interested in having Amanda in his lap, pretending to screw his dick, he wouldn’t hear the end of it. Buster would want to know what was wrong with him, and before long they’d start trying to get him to screw everything.
“Shut up,” he said, not interested in talking about Shawna, who was right now laughing at something four eyes had said.
Don’t do that. Don’t be mean.
Amanda giggled and leaned close, biting his ear. “You know some people think you’re screwing her.”
He pulled away and glared at her. Then, he didn’t know why he did it. Maybe it was driving him crazy that he wanted the girl across the cafeteria, and he couldn’t have her until they were alone. Or maybe it was because he was tired of them calling out Shawna. Or maybe it was something else, but he gripped the back of Amanda’s head and pulled her close, pressing his lips against hers.
There was no sizzle, no burn, no desire, nothing. His cock didn’t even twitch, and for a second he was worried that he was in fact broken. With a girl wriggling on his lap, getting more excited with every passing second, he should feel something, yet nothing happened, and he didn’t like that.
Then, he thought about Shawna, the way she laughed when he tickled her, or the moan that escaped when he pushed her toward orgasm, and it was like a switch went off, and his cock suddenly had a mind of its own.
Pulling away from the kiss, he saw several of his teammates were cheering, including Buster.
Amanda sighed happily. “Of course I’ve got nothing to worry about. You’re all mine.”
His stomach turned, and he glanced over toward Shawna, and she looked a little pale as she took a seat with her friends. Her back was to him, and he hated it. He hated what he had just done, and his gut was twisting.
For the rest of the day, he tried to find Shawna, and get her alone to explain. Nothing worked. She was either with
friends, or pretended she didn’t know him. By the time the final bell rang, he was nearly losing his mind, and as he left the parking lot, he saw four eyes was standing near his car with a couple of others.
“Hey, you seen Shawna?” he asked.
“She’s left already,” four eyes said.
Nate didn’t care to learn his name, and he nodded his head, leaving the school grounds, and trying not to break the law as he rushed toward his home. When he got there, he saw that Shawna’s car was already there, and no one else’s. Parking his car, he rushed inside and made his way up toward their rooms. He saw her door was open, and when he entered, she was lying on the floor with a couple of books open.
There was some kind of program on the table.
Shawna glanced back at him, and nothing was said for several seconds. She ignored him, and went back to looking at her work, humming as she did.
“We need to talk,” he said.
“No, we don’t. I’ve got to study.”
“About what happened in the cafeteria—”
“Don’t worry about it, Nate. It’s fine, and there’s no reason for you to explain it. You’re back with Amanda, and that is fine.”
“That’s not what happened. Shawna, please, let me explain.”
She didn’t move from her position on the floor, and he started to pace. “Look, I was angry, okay? I don’t know why I was angry, I just was, and it makes no sense, I fucking get that, and I’m sorry.” Nothing was said. “For fuck’s sake, look at me.”
He heard her sigh, and then in the next second, she was on her feet glaring at him. “What? What do you want me to say, Nate? You kissed her, right there in front of everyone.”
“I know.”
“What exactly do you want me to say because you should have sent me a memo or a fucking text, or even an email that the two of you were together again?”
“We’re not. It was just a stupid kiss. A kiss that I’ve got absolutely no excuse for, and I am sorry, baby.”
She stared at him, and then shook her head. “Why?”
“I was watching you, and my friends are constantly asking questions, then Amanda said something about living with you, and I saw you with four eyes, and I just, I couldn’t handle it. I reacted, and I reacted badly. I don’t want Amanda. She’s easy, and I only ever used her because she is known for not saying no.”
“That is really disgusting.”
“It’s the truth. It’s not my fault.”
He watched as she licked her lips, and sighed. Nate took a step toward her.
“We agreed this would be secret.”
“I know. It doesn’t mean I like it.”
“I hated seeing you with her,” she said.
“I can’t stand for you to be near four eyes.”
“Please stop calling him that. His name is Nigel.”
“I don’t give a fuck, Shawna. You’re the only one I want. The only one I’ll ever want.” He wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her close so that her body was flush against him. His cock was already started to get harder, and he wanted inside her so damn bad. “I want to fuck you,” he said.
She moaned.
He pulled her shirt over her head, and then fingered the strap of her bra, drawing it down her arms until her tits sprang free. They were big, and the tips were hard. Stepping back, he tugged his own shirt over his head, and stepped toward her.
Cupping her face, he tilted her head back. “I’m an asshole. I get that, but I promise you, there is no one else for me. I mean that. I mean every single word.”
“There has only ever been you, Nate. I’ve not been with anyone else,” she said.
He loved that. She belonged to him so completely.
“Let me make it up to you,” he said, stroking his fingers down to her jeans, and fingering the button.
“Yes,” she said, releasing a little moan. He flicked the button open, and knelt in front of her, pulling her jeans down, followed by her matching white lacy underwear.
The moment she was naked, he stood up, and moved her toward her bed. When she was lying down, he pulled off his jeans, joining her on the bed. It was still surreal to him to have Shawna in his life, and in his bed, or in her bed.
Running his fingers down her body, he pinched her nipple before taking it into his mouth. They both moaned at the first touch, and he watched as her eyes closed, and she arched up toward him.
“I love your tits,” he said, pulling away and cupping them. “They’re so full, and so perfect.”
“I love it when you touch me, Nate.” She sank her fingers into his hair and tugged him toward her mouth.
He took possession of her lips, sliding his tongue into her mouth. She met him stroke for stroke.
Suddenly she moved and knelt on the bed, her hands moving down, capturing his cock. He watched as she pumped up and down his length, and he covered her hand with his, showing her exactly what he liked.
“You’re so hard, and you’re so soft.”
“Don’t stop,” he said, gritting his teeth. He was so close to coming, and he didn’t want it to end like this.
The smile on her lips was filled with sin, and when she climbed off the bed, and knelt beside the bed as he sat down, she ran her hands up his thighs. “You’re close?” she asked.
“Yes.”
“Well, there’s something I want to try,” she said, licking her lips.
Holy fuck, he wanted her mouth on him more than anything. He held his cock at the base, and started to stroke up and down the whole length. “You want to suck my dick?”
She nodded. “Yeah, I really do.” She swiped her tongue across the tip then slid down the thick vein.
He closed his eyes, and tried to think of anything that would stop him from coming so soon. Her mouth was so perfect.
When her lips covered the head, he couldn’t help but look at her. Her lips were plump and sexy spread around his length.
* * *
Shawna couldn’t believe she had Nate’s dick in her mouth once again. When she had seen him kiss Amanda, she had been startled by how much pain had hit her at the sight. She hated seeing him kiss another girl, and part of her had felt betrayed.
Working the base of his cock, she took him into her mouth until she touched her hand then pulled back up, letting him go with a pop. “Do you like that?”
“Yeah, it feels so good.”
Covering the tip of his cock, she started to bob her head, doing what felt comfortable to her, and liking the way he was responding. He seemed to get thicker as she scored down the length with her teeth.
“Oh, fuck, I can’t take much more.” He tapped her head, and she pulled away from him. Within seconds he had her back on her feet, and pressed to the bed. He spread her thighs open, and settled between them.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
His hands moved to her pussy and he opened the lips, sliding his tongue through her slit.
She cried out at the pleasure. He knew what he was doing, and her body responded to his touch, needing his touch. Two fingers plunged deep inside her, and he began to pump then in and out. She glanced down to see his tongue sliding through her slit, bumping her clit.
“You taste so fucking good.”
She thrust up against him, feeling the pleasure begin to build. Not able to hold back, she cupped her breasts, pinching the nipples.
“Come for me, Shawna.”
He tongued her clit at the same time as fucking inside her with his fingers.
Her orgasm built until he threw her over the edge. Pleasure washed over her entire body, and she screamed his name.
Nate continued to fuck her pussy, driving her close and closer to orgasm. Even when she begged him to stop, he wouldn’t let up, or give her a chance to, either.
She gripped his wrist, stopping him. Nate pulled his fingers away, and sucked them into his mouth as he moved up the bed. She watched as he grabbed a condom, tearing into the foil and sliding it over his length.
&
nbsp; He moved back between her thighs, and she stared into his eyes as he slowly pushed his cock inside her. When he was at the hilt, he took hold of her hands and locked their fingers together, placing them beside her head.
“You feel so good,” he said.
She thrust up to meet him as he began to slowly fuck her. He held her hands tightly, and she gripped him just as strongly, needing him more than anything.
He began to fuck her, speeding up as the headboard hit the wall.
“Yes, yes, yes,” she said, arching up and loving the way he was stretching her.
His lips brushed across hers, and he rode her harder, sliding deeper. Kissing him back, she knew she didn’t want this to end, not ever.
“Oh, fuck,” he said, tensing up.
She felt his cock pulse as he filled the condom with his release.
The pleasure began to ebb away, and with it the pain of the kiss she had witnessed.
“You’re sad,” he said.
“I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not. There’s no need to lie to me, baby.” He moved them so that he was still inside her, beside her with her leg cocked over his hip. “Tell me.” He stroked her arm. “You were right there with me.”
“I know. I know was there with you, and I still am.”
“What is it?” he asked.
“I don’t know. I just thought of you and Amanda, and I guess it just hurts, and I don’t get it. I’m not the kind of girl who gets jealous, and we don’t even have a thing. I really need to shut up because I’m not making this any easier, and I want to cringe right now because of how awful I’m making this so I’m just going to pretend that I’m not speaking, and yeah, shut up, Shawna.” She smiled, and saw that he was chuckling as well.
“You’re very cute when you’re nervous.”
“That’s not funny.”
“I know it’s not funny, but still, you look cute.” He sighed. “I was an asshole.”
She licked her lips, and didn’t know what to say to him.
“I won’t kiss Amanda again, I promise.” He stroked her cheek. “You’re beautiful, and I’m not going to do anything to hurt you again.”
