A Sinful Trap

She shook her head, pressing her hands against her chest, worried her racing heart would escape before she could get this out. “I want both of you to take me. I want to let you in.”

Cam got to his knees, eyes bright silver and wild. “Now?”

Davide was shaking his head, but his cock pulsed its approval inside her. “You can’t make a decision like this in the heat of the moment. That was why Cam asked for the buffer.”

“Fuck the buffer,” she said bluntly. “You said it was my choice, didn’t you? You keep saying that. Well? I’m choosing.”

  Cam’s smile was all approval.

“She’s chosen, Davide.” His words conveyed a command neither of them could ignore. “Like you knew she would.”

“Hoped,” Davide whispered before he kissed her temple. “Your timing could use some work.”

“I know.” His hips flexed and she whimpered. “But this couldn’t wait.”

Cam lifted her off of Davide’s body, and when his hard cock slid out of her sex, he whimpered at the loss.

“I’ll make it up to you,” she swore, kissing Cam’s dimpled chin. “To both of you.”

“Yes, you will, mate.” Davide’s chest rumbled dangerously. “With that ass I’ve been dreaming of.”

“Are you sure?” Cam muttered, his arms around her as turned and leaned back against the headboard.

“Try and stop me.” Davide’s dare was pure seduction.

Bailey’s ass clenched in response, but she wasn’t afraid. This was where she belonged. She knew it, the way she’d known the inn was home and Kaya and Dani were her sisters. These two men belonged to her. All her doubts had been stripped away today with each brush of their mental connection and every word they’d spoken, proving to her that they weren’t going anywhere without her. That they wanted only her.

  Her mates.

With help from Cam, she slowly lowered herself onto his thick erection, both of them inhaling sharply when her ass finally met his thighs. So full. She wasn’t sure if she’d ever get used to the size of her wolf.

“I thought you were the cautious one I’d have to convince,” she teased as Davide positioned himself behind them.

“I used to be,” Cam admitted. He pressed her down until she was spread wide on the base of his thick cock. “But then this innkeeper landed in my lap and everything changed. Lean forward, love. And breathe, like we showed you.”

She pressed her palms into his firm pecs as Davide pushed his slick fingers inside her ass. She breathed out on a groan. She loved it when he did this.

It wasn’t until she felt the wide head of his cock push through the tight ring of muscles that she cried out.

  Davide stilled instantly.

“More,” she urged. When he hesitated, she reached back to pull at his hip and then gasped, struggling to make sense of the new fullness. But she wanted more of it. Needed more. “Don’t stop. I want both of you. All of you inside me.”

His hand gripped her shoulder and his hips rocked forward at her words. “Fuck, Bailey, you’re so tight. Can you feel it, Cam?”

“I can feel us,” he rasped, his jaw tight and fingers bruising on her hips. “Finally together. It’s fucking perfect.”

“Not yet,” she said, taking down the wall in her mind and opening the link between them. “I said I wanted all of you inside me.”

The buffer had disappeared. She’d thought it would once her choice was made, but she wasn’t afraid of being overwhelmed this time. She trusted. She believed in them. Her mates.

  Be brave.

“Gods, Bailey. I can feel you.”

  “Everywhere, sweet. So beautiful.”

It was all there, waiting for her. What she hadn’t been able to see before, and more. Davide’s absolute confidence in his instincts. How much he wanted her. Loved her.

Cam’s need to be cautious, and his guilt for hurting her. The way he’d fallen for her so swiftly and irrevocably had scared him at first, too. But he wasn’t scared anymore. Not since he’d decided to stay beside her, whether she released them or not.

They took her together, and she laid her emotions at their feet. Let them feel the worry that she wouldn’t be enough. The realization that she loved them too much to let them go. She was willing to risk being left again if it meant she could have this. Willing to fly without a safety net and risk her heart for them.

  Harder. Oh fuck, that’s good.

We’ll never leave you, Bailey. You’ll never be alone again.

Love you. Love you. Love you.

Memories played like a movie reel in her mind. They watched with her as those blue stars fell and she made her wish, watched as a strange wolf dragged Sal away. They heard Will calling her a hummingbird, Kaya telling her about the cord between them and young Lila hoping Bailey didn’t make her mistakes.

She saw theirs’ too. Stax calling Cam Alpha Locke, and telling him the secret that the elders in Colorado didn’t know.

“There’s no sacrifice or dancing naked under the full moon needed, though that can be fun. To mate the three, there has to be real love on all sides. That’s why most examples of successful trios include sisters or brothers sharing a mate. Sometimes lovers, like you. The choice is hers, but if you really want it to work, you’ll have to love her as much as you love each other. She’ll have to love you both in return. That’s the big secret. Love. Sex. Bite. In that order. It’s really not that complicated. Fight to the death, my ass.”

All that worry and that was it? If love was all it took then there was nothing to stop them.

Cam tangled his fingers in her short hair, dragging her down for a kiss. “You love us. Both of us.”

It wasn’t a question anymore, because he knew. She tugged on his lip with her teeth and smiled, feeling tipsy. “And you love me. Both of you. The only thing left to do is bite me.”

“Fuck,” Davide grunted, driving his cock deeper into her ass. “You want that now? Without knowing what comes after? How you’ll change? How we’ll change?”

He knew how much she craved the safe and familiar. All her plans.

“I trust you and I love you,” she told him. Them. “I choose you. Forever.”

It was fast. Maybe too fast. But why make them wait when it was true?

Mark me. Claim me. Make me yours.

When their teeth sunk into either side of her neck, the momentary pain was nothing compared to the lust and ecstasy they were feeling. She was feeling. They were inside her body. Inside her mind. Fucking. Loving. Moaning for more. Always more. Please, more.

They ran to the edge together. Leapt and flew to the sun together. Coming inside her as they licked their marks and made her theirs. She didn’t know where one climax ended and the next began, but at some point, she must have blacked out. She woke to find herself lying on the bed between them, with Cam carefully cleaning her sensitive thighs with a warm washcloth, and Davide nuzzling her breasts in total contentment.

When she was snuggled between them, she kissed Cam’s nipple and grinned. “So… I guess I am a Furry then.”

She really did love his laugh.

  Chapter Sixteen

  2 months later…

“This one might be my favorite.” Bailey was sitting at the patio table beside Dani’s pool, holding yet another carving from Will. It was a hummingbird, full of intricate, delicate detail and about the size of her palm. It would go perfectly on the shelf beside her hummingbird kachina. “But you need to tell your grandfather to stop now. I’m starting to feel guilty.”

Kaya finished braiding her hair and wrapped it in a bun on top of her head. “He’s the guilty party here, and he knows it. Leaving my friend in an attic for a ghost chat,” she muttered. “Besides, it’s keeping him too busy to meddle in my affairs.”

Dani set a pitcher of sangria in the center of the table before sitting down beside them. “Are we having affairs worth meddling in now? See, Bailey? You were gone for three weeks and Kaya is suddenly the siren of Sedona.”

  “
She brought out the sangria, K,” Bailey whispered loud enough for everyone to hear. “This will not end well.”

“I don’t know. So far, it’s working out perfectly,” Dani said with a shrug that made her brown curls bounce on her shoulders. “In case you were keeping score, there’s only one wish left.”

Kaya sent her a look that should have singed off her eyebrows. “Why don’t we talk about Bailey’s trip? The other two weekend adventures were full of interesting shifter politics and exhibitionism at popular tourist attractions. I can only imagine the trouble you three got into this time.”

It had been difficult for her to accept Bailey’s new relationship status, but she’d warmed to the idea after Cam and Davide worked their charm. Cam even asked her for a reading to prove he had nothing to hide, and that he wasn’t planning on taking her best friend away for good.

Dani had been on board from the beginning, even hinting that she wouldn’t mind being an honorary pack member now that her best friend was the mate of Alpha Locke and his second in command.

  Mate.

She lifted her hands, touching the small scars on either side of her neck. She wasn’t sure she’d ever get used to the changes. At first, she’d been a little disappointed to learn that she couldn’t shift, but she was healthier than she’d ever been and Stax had told Cam her aging would slow to match theirs, so she’d accepted the trade-off. The link between them all meant she’d die if they did, but it also meant she’d live just as long.

Bailey hadn’t worked up the courage to tell her friends about that yet. Or that she could now—when she concentrated—see Sedona the way Cam and Davide did. The magic all around them. It was what she’d always felt, but seeing it was a gift she’d never stop being grateful for.

“Are you telesexing again?” Dani asked impatiently, snapping her fingers in front of Bailey’s face.

  “Am I what?”

Kaya smirked. “She’d been trying to come up with a name for the face you get when your guys are communicating with you through your link.”

  “Telepathic sexting. Telesexing.”

“What about sextapathing?” Kaya threw out.

Dani shook her head emphatically. “No. It’s telesexing. Consider it trademarked.”

Bailey’s blush burned her ears. “I approve of the name, but I’m not doing that right now.”

  I like it.

  Stop telesexing her, she’s busy.

Bailey burst out laughing and her friends gave her knowing looks. “I can’t help it. I’m still working on how to put them on hold. And the trip was amazing, but right now I’m just so glad to be home. Especially now.”

“Why especially?” Kaya asked, as usual zeroing in on her exactly when she didn’t want her to.

She gestured around Dani’s backyard. “Because Liam is teaching Cam the fine art of barbecue, Bunny and Aaron are enjoying the pool and it’s a beautiful day. Because the addition is complete and now Ava and Alwin have an apartment instead of my old cubby to get frisky in when they aren’t running the inn while I’m away. Because I’m with my best friends in the place I love best and I’m happy. Pick a reason.”

It was all true. Every word. And she was blissfully happy.

“Because you’re pregnant,” Dani said, her blue eyes wide.

“What? How did you…” Bailey shook her head. “I mean, what?”

“See Bailey? You leave for three weeks and suddenly Dani is the psychic,” Kaya said dryly. “She’s right, isn’t she? You’ve already got a little furry bun in the oven.”

She hadn’t been ready to say it out loud yet. Davide had told her a few days ago. He could smell the change in her before a pregnancy test could confirm it. A baby. She was going to be somebody’s mother. Lord help them. “How did you know?”

Dani’s smile was full of compassion and love. “I’m a nurse, and you’re glowing more than usual. Also, with two insanely gorgeous men, epic marathon sexy times, and the mating frenzy you were telling me about, it was only a matter of time. Plus, Stax might have said something.”

Kaya’s frown was a split-second long and then gone. “When?”

Dani held up her phone. “Not in my head this time, we’ve all agreed that’s only for real emergencies. He texted me. He has a smartphone now. Said it was one of Alpha Locke’s requirements.”

Kaya turned to pin Bailey with a look of disbelief. “Cameron ordered the Istaqa to get a smartphone?”

Bailey tried not to laugh. “Stax gave him the go ahead to modernize some pack laws and make a few long overdue changes. He has to be able to get in touch with him somehow.”

Kaya touched her fingers to her temple. “I feel strangely guilty for my role in corrupting him.”

“You haven’t corrupted anyone yet, K,” Bailey soothed teasingly. “That’s something I’d like to fix immediately, to be honest.”

Dani turned toward the grill. “Jace is here.”

“Oh joy,” Kaya muttered. “Then I’m going for a dip in the pool.”

She hesitated, then got up from her chair and wrapped her arms around Bailey. “A baby,” she whispered. “I’m so happy for you.”

Bailey hugged her back, blinking away tears. Kaya’s own eyes were wet when she pulled back and curled her hands into fists. Oh no. “Is it getting worse?”

Kaya barely nodded before walking away without another word.

“I’ll go say hi to Jace and make sure he doesn’t harass her,” Dani said, a worried wrinkle between her brows. “At least Nick isn’t with him. Those two keep setting each other off these days.”

When they were gone, Bailey laid a hand on her stomach.

Baby Locke, don’t worry about your aunts, okay? They’ll be fine. And you are going to be brilliant. You’ll thrive both these worlds. Shifter and human. I promise you’ll be loved, and no one is ever going to leave you.

Two worlds. The next time she saw Will, she’d have to tell him that she finally understood what it meant. She’d been happy with her small piece of the life pie, for the most part, but there was so much more now. Every day she learned something new. Every day she felt more love than she’d ever dreamed of having. And every day she chose her mates and this big life they’d given her again.

Cam’s large body blocked the sun before he knelt beside her chair. “Are you feeling okay? Do you need anything?”

She was feeling a bit emotional. “I’m wonderful now. Thank you for cutting the trip short for me.”

He grunted. “Deter can do most of the business travel from now on. I’d rather be home with you.”

He kissed her and she felt Davide join them in her mind. He was at the store, grabbing the chips she’d been craving. I’ll be there soon. Don’t have too much fun without me.

Cam’s thrill at hearing the message had her smiling into his kiss. Another perk of the mating was the completion of the link. They weren’t just connected to her now, they were connected to each other through her.

He pressed his forehead against hers and covered her hand with his own over her still-flat stomach.

“We love you, Boot Boy,” she murmured.

“I know,” he said contentedly. Then he stilled at the sound of male laughter coming from the grill. “I’m not a big fan of that Jace character though.”

She chuckled. “Neither is Kaya, but I think that’s just repressed sexual tension.”

“I hope not. That smartass reeks of wolf. One I haven’t met yet. Wolves can be a little possessive, in case you didn’t know.”

“I’m shocked,” she teased, her mind racing. Jace smelled like wolf? She remembered who’d brought Stax to that first party and something clicked. “Next time we see Stax, remind me to ask him about Nick.”

“Fine. As long as you agree to put on that pink polka dot dress for us as soon as we get home.”

  “Deal.”

She licked her lips, feeling the arousal that was never far from the surface start to simmer inside him.

  “How long are barbecues supp
osed to last?” he growled.

“Too long,” she whispered in his ear. “But I’ve been wanting to show you the shower where Dani first saw our favorite spider. It’s not as big as our bathroom, but there is a lock on the door.”

Before she could catch her breath, she was tugged to her feet and being dragged behind her sexy mountain of a mate. She bit her lips when Kaya and Dani pretended not to notice.

You can’t wait for me? I’ll be there in five minutes. Davide sent through the link.

  We’ll telesex you later.

She loved her mates. And her unplanned, messy, wonderful life.
